Yuri's Morning Routine

The bright light shined through the glass-less window of a broken down house, blinding the closed eyes of the sleeping girl. Another day… she thought, opening her restless eyes.

Her feet landed on the wooden floor filled with litter and other trappings. It's been a while since I last cleaned up, huh?

Still without motivation for the day, she dragged herself along the short corridor into the lone bathroom of the house, which should be empty at the moment since Mr. Ham would be sleeping after his duty while Yumi is yet to wake. Brushing her teeth, fixing her hair, and washing her face was not enough to remove the tiredness in her eyes, though.

Instead of fretting over her rapidly aging appearance at the young age of eighteen, Yuri elected to grumpily go down the stairs and into the kitchen, where she will be cooking that morning's meal.

As per usual in this morning routine of hers, it is the empty pantry that she meets right after fixing up, and so she sets out to buy from the nearest convenience store the eggs, onions, and whatever cheap vegetables that will be going with the rice.

She's not a great cook, either. In fact, she dreads cooking. She simply steams the rice, scrambles the eggs, and boils the veggies in salt. The standard, bland food that she's been cooking for the better part of the last 3 years, only broken up whenever Mr. Ham's paycheck arrives and buys them a nice bacon or something.

It doesn't bother her, though. Because after she finish cooking, Yumi will be going down the stairs to happily eat whatever it is she plates, cheerfully telling her about her misadventures. Then Yuri will finally smile, seeing what keeps her going in her life.

Abyss Actor - Leading Lady [Level 4/DARK/Fiend/1600 ATK/1200 DEF/Scale 2-2]

Pendulum Effect: Once per turn, when you take battle damage from an opponent's attacking monster: You can activate 1 of these effects;
● That opponent's monster loses ATK equal to the damage you took (even if this card leaves the field).
● Add 1 face-up "Abyss Actor" Pendulum Monster from your Extra Deck to your hand with ATK less than or equal to the damage you took.
Monster Effect: Once per turn, when battle damage is inflicted: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; it loses ATK equal to that battle damage. When this card is destroyed by battle, or if this card in its owner's Monster Zone is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: You can Set 1 "Abyss Script" Spell directly from your Deck.

Abyss Actor - Sassy Rookie [Level 4/DARK/Fiend/1700 ATK/1000 DEF/Scales 2-2]

Pendulum Effect: If an "Abyss Actor" monster(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect, you can destroy this card instead.
Monster Effect: The first time this card would be destroyed by battle or card effect each turn, it is not destroyed. If this card is destroyed by battle, or if this card in its owner's Monster Zone is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Abyss Actor" monster from your Deck, except "Abyss Actor - Sassy Rookie". If this card in the Pendulum Zone is destroyed: You can target 1 Level 4 or lower monster your opponent controls; destroy it.

Abyss Actor - Superstar [Level 7/DARK/Fiend/2500 ATK/1800 DEF/Scales 3-3]

Pendulum Effect: Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 "Abyss Actor" monster, then target 1 "Abyss Script" Spell in your GY; add it to your hand.
Monster Effect: When Normal or Special Summoned, your opponent's Spell/Traps and effects cannot be activated. Once per turn: You can Set 1 "Abyss Script" Spell directly from your Deck, but it is sent to the GY during the End Phase.

Abyss Actor - Twinkle Little Star [Level 4/DARK/Fiend/1000 ATK/1000 DEF/Scales 9-9]

Pendulum Effect: You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except "Abyss Actor" monsters. This effect cannot be negated. Once per turn: You can target 1 "Abyss Actor" monster you control; this turn, it can make up to 3 attacks on monsters during each Battle Phase, also other monsters you control cannot attack for the rest of this turn (even if this card leaves the field).
Monster Effect: Cannot be destroyed by battle during your turn. This card can make up to 3 attacks on monsters during each Battle Phase.

Abyss Script - Abysstainment

You can Tribute 1 "Abyss Actor" monster, then target 1 "Abyss Script" Spell in your GY; Set it to your field. You can use this effect of "Abyss Script - Abysstainment" up to twice per turn. If this Set card in its owner's control is destroyed by an opponent's card effect, and you have a face-up "Abyss Actor" Pendulum Monster in your Extra Deck: You can Special Summon any number of "Abyss Actor" Pendulum Monsters from your Deck.

Celestia, Lightsworn Angel [Level 5/LIGHT/Fairy/2300 ATK/200 DEF]

When you Tribute Summon this card by Tributing a "Lightsworn" monster: You can send the top 4 cards of your Deck to the GY, then target up to 2 cards your opponent controls; destroy those targets.

Charge of the Light Brigade [Normal Spell]

Send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard; add 1 Level 4 or lower "Lightsworn" monster from your Deck to your hand.

Exorsister Amento [Quick-Play Spell]

Pay 800 LP, then target 1 "Exorsister" monster you control; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Exorsister" Xyz Monster with a different name from the cards you control, by using that monster you control as material. (This is treated as an Xyz Summon. Transfer its materials to the Summoned monster.) You can only activate this card during your opponent's turn, unless your opponent controls a monster Special Summoned from the GY. You can only activate 1 "Exorsister Amento" per turn.

Exorsister Carpedibel [Continuous Spell]

Neither player can target "Exorsister" monsters you control with effects of monsters Special Summoned from the GY. You can only use each of the following effects of "Exorsister Carpedibel" once per turn. If you Xyz Summon an "Exorsister" monster: You can declare 1 card name; for the rest of this turn, negate the activated effects and effects on the field of cards with that original name (even if this card leaves the field). Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior [Level 4/LIGHT/Warrior/1850 ATK/1300 DEF]

Each time a card(s) is sent from your Deck to the GY by the effect of a "Lightsworn" monster you control, except "Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior": Send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the GY, then draw 1 card for each "Lightsworn" monster sent to the GY by this effect.

Glorious Illusion [Continuous Trap]

Activate this card by targeting 1 "Lightsworn" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Attack Position. During each of your End Phases: Send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard. When this card leaves the field, destroy that monster. When that monster leaves the field, destroy this card.

Invoked Mechaba [Level 9/LIGHT/Machine/2500 ATK/2100 DEF/Fusion]

Once per turn, when a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect, is activated (Quick Effect): You can send the same type of card (Monster, Spell, or Trap) from your hand to the GY; negate the activation, and if you do, banish that card.

Invoked Purgatorio [Level 7/FIRE/Fiend/2300 ATK/2000 DEF]

"Aleister the Invoker" + 1 FIRE monster
This card gains 200 ATK for each card your opponent controls. Can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent.

Kagetokage [Level 4/DARK/Reptile/1100 ATK/1500 DEF]

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned by its own effect. When you Normal Summon a Level 4 monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. Cannot be used as Synchro Material.

Lightsworn Barrier [Continuous Trap]

When a "Lightsworn" monster you control is targeted for an attack: You can send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard, then target the attacking monster; negate the attack.

Madolche Anjelly [Level 4-Level 3/EARTH/Fairy/1000 ATK/1000 DEF]

You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Madolche" monster from your Deck, and if you do, it cannot be destroyed by battle, but shuffle it into the Deck during the End Phase of your next turn. You can only use this effect of "Madolche Anjelly" once per turn. If this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card and sent to your GY: Shuffle this card into the Deck.

Madolche Chateau [Field Spell]

When this card is activated: Shuffle all "Madolche" monsters in your GY into the Deck. All "Madolche" monsters on the field gain 500 ATK/DEF. If a monster(s) in your GY would be returned to the Deck by the effect of a "Madolche" monster, you can add it to your hand instead.

Madolche Hootcake [Level 3/EARTH/Beast/1500 ATK/1100 DEF]

If this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card and sent to your GY: Shuffle this card into the Deck. If this card is in your GY: You can target 1 of your banished "Aleister the Invoker"; shuffle this card into the Deck, and if you do, add that monster to your hand. Magical Meltdown [Field Spell]

When this card is activated: You can add 1 "Aleister the Invoker" from your Deck to your hand. The activation of your cards and effects that include an effect that Fusion Summons a Fusion Monster cannot be negated, also your opponent's cards and effects cannot activate when a monster is Fusion Summoned this way. You can only activate 1 "Magical Meltdown" per turn.

Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn [Rank 4/LIGHT/Fairy/2000 ATK/800 DEF/XYZ]

You can detach 1 material from this card; send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the GY, then draw cards equal to the number of "Lightsworn" cards sent to the GY by this effect. If this card is sent to the GY: You can send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the GY, then you can destroy cards on the field up to the number of "Lightsworn" cards sent to the GY by this effect. You can only use each effect of "Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn" once per turn.

Security Orb [Normal Trap]

When your opponent's monster declares an attack: Target 1 face-up monster on the field; change that target's battle position. If this Set card is destroyed by an opponent's effect and sent to the GY: Destroy 1 monster on the field.

Shire, Lightsworn Spirit [Level 3/LIGHT/Fairy/400 ATK/1400 DEF]

This card gains 300 ATK for each "Lightsworn" monster in your Graveyard. During each of your End Phases: Send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.

Custom Cards:

Abyss Actor - Devious Goon [Level 3/DARK/Fiend/300 ATK/0 DEF/Scales 9-9]

Pendulum Effect: While this card is face-up, you don't take damage in battles including "Abyss Actor" monsters.

Monster Effect: When the opponent declares a direct attack, you can special summon this card from your hand.

Exorsister Ascento [Continuous Spell]

Pay 800 LP to target a non-XYZ "Exorsister" monster you control: the targeted monster counts as two materials for the XYZ summon of an "Exorsister" XYZ monster.

Light Ruler's Command [Quick-Play Spell]

Declare 1 Attribute. Negate the effects of all monsters your opponent controls with that attribute.

March Into Battle [Quick-Play Spell]

All Warrior-type monsters you control gain ATK equal to their original ATK. Destroy them during the End Phase

Reversal [Quick-Play Spell]

Activate only when a monster you control battles an opponent's monster with a higher ATK. Target the monster it's battling and deal damage to your opponent equal to that monster's ATK.

Re-XYZ [Quick-Play Spell]

Send 1 face-up XYZ monster you control, special summon 1 XYZ monster from your Extra Deck (this is still treated as an XYZ summon) and attach this card as overlay unit.

Second Last Chance [Normal Trap]

When your opponent declares a direct attack that would reduce your LP to zero, you can discard this card, pay LP until you only have 100, and end the turn. During your next End Phase, you lose the duel.

Vanquisher's Sword [Equip Spell]

Equip only to a Warrior-type XYZ monster. The equipped monster gains 700 ATK. When the equipped monster destroys a monster by battle, deal damage to your opponent equal to that monster's ATK.
