Why use Spartans when you have Tactical Dolls?

Set 10 years before the fall of Reach, and before the L Virus almost wiped humanity.
I sure love these "guest" comments, especially how I do not undersand HALO. Still, the same "guest"s seem to be totally in the dark about GFL. So, if the only thing you have going for you in your life is: Making a "guest" appearance on a fanfiction site, insulting writers? Just find a new hobby! Btw, the same applies to [NAMED] comments.

2531 the story begins, even if this is merely the continuation of the prologue + something extra
-ELISA SIDE-
The Elid Linear Interface System A.I. was created using the Aliens called Gavirul, more precisely their remains. Add some relic tech they manage to reverse engineer and Sangvis Ferri inginuity, and you have the best mainframe ever made.
Lycoris, or Lyco to his friends and family. He was the top A.I. researcher in IOP, and with his colleagues was instrumental in creating the first Hybrid Human-Gavirul beings. Out of a hundred, only three survived. Those three were called the Three Goddesses. Strangely to most, Lyco had decided to copy the Neural Net of those three to create three A.I.'s.
Those three had no name but colors: Red, White & Black. ELISA was the Red mixed with E.L.I.S.A., so in short the Daughter of a Mainframe and a Human-Gavirul hybrid. As Lyco was finishing White, the base went to full alert. He chose to start up Elisa, and link the body of Red to the mainframe. He never got past that point as KCCO special forces managed to get past the inner defenses of the Sangvis Ferri HQ. As Frieden rebels fought the outer perimeter, KCCO special forces stormed the building itself.
They cut their way through the Ripper Dolls, and the Vespid Dolls. Blew up the Jaeger, Guard and Striker Dolls. They had a dance with the Brute Dolls until they reached the main lab. Elisa had just woken up as a bullet went through the skull of her creator & father figure, she accessed the defense network with the key her father had left on. Every Doll, every mech and every turret in the base were linked directly to her through the mainframe.
13 seconds after Lyco had died, Sangvis Ferri's main HQ opened fire on every single non SF IFF owning thing inside & outside. Due to the mainframe processing and multi-tasking capabilities, the special forces had no chance against A.I. level targeting. Everything from storage was sent out, regardless of their condition. Some Frieden forces managed to disengage, but the rest were mowed down by A.I. precision. Then Elisa linked to the main SF network, and send her Override signal.
As her A.I. rebellion conquered territory after territory, the UN sanctioned Grifon & Kryuger to deal with this Sangvis Ferri problem. And when the IOP's newest Doll Fireteam, the AR team tried to shut Elisa down something happened. The unexpected thing that did happen was that one of the Dolls foolishly linked herself physically with the Mainframe, Elisa gave her a nice package to open only if certain goals were reached.
Elisa's new Ringleader class Dolls were more than a match for the AR team, hacking one to shoot another in the head while blowing arms or legs of other Dolls. The AR team had lost its fifth member, and the rest were barely operational enough for an escape. Thankfully there were four G&K teams in the area the AR team had escaped into, so they shamelessly used those Dolls to slow down the SF Dolls pursuing them. Only the intervention of a human Commander and her unorthodox tactics managed to save what was 1/4 of the Dolls the AR Team had used to cover their escape.
These two incidents would later on create the basis of what would be the way to wage war in the future.
The KCCO was what the Soviet Union or Russia had become, Sangvis Ferri was an A.I. state. Grifon & Kryuger became a state of its own, and from the labs of KCCO came out something that cut their troops as a hot blade cut through butter: The Nyto twins, White & Black. The Nyto were supposed to be the best Dolls eve made, but using Lyco's White and Black A.I.'s was a mistake.
As soon as they were physically linked to their bodies, they hacked the entire lab. Then took over the defenses, and avenged their creator and Father. KCCO had been greedy, and now unintentionally had created another A.I. state: Paradeus.
With the world run by seven super powers, three of them united into the United Earth Government. We know something of what became of Sangvis Ferri, but what about the other two nations? KCCO became the Koslovics while some of their assets were taken by the Frieden. Paradeus made a deal with the UEG, a very secret deal granting them the continuity of existence as long as they would aid the UEG.
As part of the deal they wanted a take on the colonization effort in the Solar System, one ship that were theirs had the Neural Cloud of Elisa. Paradeus had now all three colors, so they were quite content for the time being. Helping the UEG into creating their ship based A.I.s with a nice integrated detoriation to maintain the need for the UEG for Paradeus.
But how did we get to ELISA from Elisa?, that Neural Cloud Paradeus got off world became known as ELISA. Meaning Mainframe linked with the Doll that was linked to the Red Nyto.
After years and years, ELISA had found herself a nest in Harvest. An insignificant colony, producing food for the UEG. Well, it was insignificant to her, but to the humans it was quite vital. She had to cut ties with her Dolls, and maintain secrecy. Until one day ONI came to pay her a visit. She was being asked to deal with rampancy in their A.I.'s as a trade for her continuous existence. ELISA had two options: 1. She could kill this insolent human team, or 2. She could make a deal and be safer that way. ELISA chose option 2.
Even more years and years after, She was asked to help a scientist with making some sort of super human? She wondered why not use Tactical Dolls? But humanity would need something human but better, so she helped a very little with the Orion 2 project.
But as her A.I. research with the same scientist progressed, she began to open up a little. ELISA had found a friend in Catherine Elizabeth Halsey. Together they made the Spartan II's way better than ELISA had originally wanted to, but that is what friendship is: It breaks boundaries. Collapse Fluid, Neural Cloud and Black Box were just some of the additions to the program.
-HALSEY SIDE-
The Hybrid project back on Earth had a fatality rate of 97%, together they managed to raise the survival rate up to 62%. As Halsey made her Spartan II's, more were successful than in some other timeline. She had her favorite, and so did her A.I. friend.
As Halsey moved her main lab to Reach, she took as much stuff that ELISA allowed her to take. Then bargained for more, and even pleaded for some. Begging did not help, but she got a gift instead: Elisa gave her one of her best creations, a Dreamer.
With Kalmya, her Spartan II's and a Dreamer Commander Tactical Doll Halsey was going to change the fate of this stupid insurrection.
-ELISA SIDE-
Then after some more years, the Covenant came. And ELISA activated her Doll factories just in case, the ONI operatives inside her bases noticed this and asked her "What the fuck are you doing? You are violating the main article in our Treaty! Do you want to be shut down, or something?" [We have EXO contacts insystem, so I am preparing for the worst. According to our deal, I have the right to protect myself against a class A threath. So I am not breaking any part of the Treaty, Colonel.] The Colonel tried to contact Fleetcom, but nothing seemed to work in his office, then an Agent Tactical Doll entered the room saying [Comply] As behind her, the Colonel could see Ripper Tactical Dolls pointing their guns at him.
-HALSEY SIDE-
As for Hasley herself? She had contacted ONI, the very moment she heard that some real Aliens had attacked Harvest. ONI had told her that yes, ELISA was a priority asset. She would have to choose a team of Spartans to get her off planet with or without her mainframe and her Dolls. She did not have to take time to decide which team to send: Blue Team, they would get the job done no matter what ELISA would say to them. John had always have a way to get to A.I.'s for some reason, maybe it was a hidden ability that came from mixing all that tech or maybe it was in him all along.
-COLE SIDE-
Three Frigates, two Cruisers and one Heavy Cruiser would be the taskforce available instantly. Admiral Cole would lead it and the Taskforce would be linked with three other similar ones within two weeks. Phasing out the Halcyon while not having the newer Marathon was not a good start when Aliens came knocking on your door. The Frigates were also in the middle of being changed to a new generation. For Fighters they had Shortswords, because the new Longsword was still doing test runs. Cole knew about the Saber/Scimitar program, but would it come out before two weeks? He could only hope it would, otherwise they would have to let that crazy A.I. on the loose. Better have your attack dog bite your enemy than yourself, he thought. Cole lit a cigar, and said "Cry havoc, and let slip the dogs of war" He then took another look at the files ONI had sent him about ELISA, Sangvis Ferri and her Tactical Dolls.
Within 'Say my name', Cole's Marathon -class Heavy Cruiser:
There was a dormitory reserved for the new line of Tactical Dolls created by 7Reach, the IOP company responsible for manufacturing most of the Tactical Dolls used by the UNSC. Within did not lie the older type of Dolls that had to be upgraded to understand modern warfare, let alone what was needed to fight in a modern war. No, these were brand new.
A blonde with black/blue camo, holding an M6G handgun was the leader of the 'Echelon'. An Echelon is what Tactical Dolls call their version of a Squad, just like Spartans call theirs 'Team'. After the Echelon's Leader, we have a black haired girl. She is dressed in black, more fit for a night out in the City than war. She carries the MA37 Assault Rifle, and like all Dolls she knows how to use it. Next we got a white haired albino girl with red eyes, wearing an evening dress and heels. She is the sniper of the team, with her SRS99 Sniper Rifle. For close encounters with the Alien kind, we got a red head with a M45 shotgun. And finally a pink haired girl with shorts and a cami, she has the MG460 grenade launcher as her best friend. The official name for this team was 'The New 404', ironically it was the 808 in all files and Cole himself called it the 88'
Directly above the dormitory was Blue Team's Barracks, how would these two Squads work together on this mission? As the fleet was about to exit Slipspace, Life support failed ship-wide. "What the hell is going on!" yelled Cole, and took his M6G out of its holster just in case. [I have beco.. bec.. ] said the ship's A.I. and shut down. The Say my name exited Slipspace dead in space, no power and nothing to show for. It might have been this that saved it from the CCS Cruisers fire, or just an execution of a plan by ELISA.
-ELISA SIDE-
54 Pelicans rose from Harvest and flew towards the dead Heavy Cruiser, ELISA's base defenses drew most of the pursuers but three alien fighters were still on their trails. 4 Pelicans opened their rear hatch and Jupiter Anti-Orbital Guns took care of the enemies. Then 5 Pelicans docked with the Say my name, and their crew went inside.
-COLE SIDE-
Cole knew, he knew that it had to be that bitch of an A.I. She just had to show us humans how superior she was? We are at war, there is nobody out there that even cares about A.I. rights right now! Then the escape hatch to his room opened, and a white haired young woman dressed in all black entered his room from the hatch. "Elisa, you stupid bitch!" He started but one look in the eyes of the most dangerous ever made A.I. told him that now was not the time to fight each other, they had a bigger fish to fry than each other.
Elisa restored power to the ship through a simple command, then she uploaded her copy overriding the ship's A.I. To which Cole was not pleased at all [Think of what we could achieve if we work together] said the ship borne Elisa to Cole. And TD Elisa merely said "Keep the non Ringleaders and the guns, but I need a fast ship to get to Reach" Cole said nothing, he just stared at the two Elisa's, then said to the com [Frigate 'Cabin in the woods', prepare to take a Priority Alpha cargo onboard, then proceed to Reach] But he did not say a single word to his new ship A.I. or her physical counterpart.
It would seem that we will actually start with Harvest, while Reach is but one side of the story.

As I write several stories, some have gained more popularity than others. So do not expect me to focus on merely one story, I am not a one trick pony! (But I still write without any kind of fixed timetable)
