Why use Spartans when you have Tactical Dolls?

The Spartans hated them, they were A.I. but competing with the Spartans. The ODST that knew about them were terrified of them, and even ONI did not really feel comfortable with them. Tactical Dolls were not normal A.I. as far as the UNSC understood it, certainly their programming had removed rampancy from UNSC A.I. but these A.I. had bodies. (Prologue has been totally rewritten)

Why use Spartans when you have Tactical Dolls?

-A Girls Frontline & Halo Crossover Story-

Set 10 years before the fall of Reach, and before the L Virus almost wiped humanity.

2531 the story begins, Finally! Or does it?

-ELISA SIDE-

UNSC Frigate "Cabin in the woods" -Charon class

Elisa was on board the ship with her six Dreamers as her aides, she also had the following ringleaders:
Destroyer, Gage, Alchemist, Architect, Judge, Ouroboros, Agent, Scarecrow, Intruder, Beak and Destroyer x6 All the other Dolls and mech units were left with Cole, as was her copy within Cole's own ship.

The crew of the ship were scared of her and her Dolls, but knew that they would be the one weapon against the Covenant that they needed right now. She had ditched all but six Pelicans to Cole, as this small ship could not take more than that as extra.
Many of the crew were very protective of Judge and Destroyer, since they looked younger than the rest of them. Elisa encouraged such behavior, and ordered the rest of her dolls to befriend the crew. Well, all but her Dreamers of course. One cannot function properly without assistants, now can one do such a thing? No!

Captain Shepard was staring at her CIC desk, as Elisa copied herself once again. "Are you sure this is a smart thing to do, what if the ship becomes compromised?" She asked the A.I. [Self-destruct is always option number one under such a situation] came the reply from the new ship's A.I., while the TD Elisa merely said "I am the best A.I. in the fleet, so of course it is the smart thing to do Captain!"

"What do you think our chances are" Shepard asked Elisa [Without our help: 37%. And with our help: 86%] Answered the Ship's A.I. "Are you going to be able to help us that much?" Continued Shepard, and Elisa answered "I like Halsey, so I wish to keep her safe. She will do the heavy lifting, while I will just grease the gears of war." Elisa smiled after that, and she was joined with Shepard in doing that. (I cannot even think what kinds of ships our Evil A.I. is going to build for us) Thought Shepard.

The ship was about to exit slipspace near Reach, when the Captain informed all through her com [All personel, prepare for exit Slipspace]. Waiting for them was a Marathon, a Halberd and a Phoenix. "We need more ships" Said Shepard "And better ones at that" replied Elisa. [So you finally came, Elisa] said Catherine Elizabeth Halsey through the com [Of course, cannot leave my one and only partner dying on her own] was the curt reply from Elisa. [Then I suggest you land at Sword Base, and do not keep me waiting] Then Halsey cut her com. "Is she always like that?" Asked Shepard "No, you have caught her in a good mood." replied Elisa.

The six Pelicans descended to the surface of Reach, flying towards the most secret and secure location in this world: Sword Base. Elisa had added her Sangvis Ferri logos to the wings of her Pelicans, and painted them all black. Many UNSC Marines watched as the six black birds flew over them, and even an ODST squad saw them flying in the distance. They were met by Vespids and Spartan III's upon arrival on the landing platform. As Elisa walked out of her Pelican, she was met with one of the Spartans "Greetings your Majesty, I am Spartan Carter at your service." said a male voice, that did not really sound all that convincing about that greeting. "I am not a Queen, so treat me just as if I was another A.I." replied Elisa with an icy tone.

[COLE SIDE]

Elisa had left Cole with a ton of dolls and stuff to blow up Covenant troops, even ships left and right:

25 Ripper 25 Vespid 25 Guard 25 Jaeger 25 Striker 25 Brute 25 Dragoon

100 Tarantula 100 Aegis 100 Nemeum 100 Manticore

200 Dinergate 200 Scout 200 Prowler 200 Jaguar

And not to mention those four JUPITER CANNONS!

"Elisa, form the Dolls into squads if you please." [Already on it, Captain]

[BLACK LILY SIDE]

Tunguska, Earth -ONI blacksite

Black Lily & White Rose received a message from Red Spider Lily 'Elisa' [Activate all four projects, we have X-Rays that are not too friendly with our Human pets. Unless we do something, only we will survive and then it will be our turn to become extinct.]

Black Lily activated the repair facility that would bring mothballed KCCO, G&K, SF and Paradeus Dolls and lesser tech back to usage. White Rose started to apply their own tech to UNSC tech, thus creating various designs for the approval of the UNSC.

[HALSEY & ELISA SIDE]

Deep within Sword Base, the two geniouses of Humanity met once again. Halsey hugged Elisa and for a short time felt like a mother once again, Elisa even called her mama once again. Then as if nothing had happened, they separated and started talking shop.

"We have 300 Spartan III's, how many do you need for your projects?" Asked Halsey. "How many can you give me?" Asked Elisa.
After a long series of bargaining and data sharing, they settled with: 150 to the UNSC, 90 to Halsey and 60 to Elisa.
Whatever the UNSC had in store for those poor 150 was of no concern to either one of them, the 90 that went to Halsey would become part of the Saber program, as well as the 1x Spartan II + 5 Spartan III team experiment. Elisa on the other hand had hand picked her Spartans, all were female and better than those 150 that were the least of the 300. Her focus was two-fold:
Make a better Mjolnir Armor and better Spartans, she went with SF designs first. Then started her own Orion project called 'Thera', after gathering data she went to see her 60 Spartans.

[ELISA SIDE]

The hangar was empty of anything besides ten lines of six Spartans, and Elisa. "Welcome to Sword Base" She started "I am Elisa, your Aunt and future Mother. I will make you better, faster, stronger and most importantly: Deadlier" Then she just stared at the Spartan III's "At ease! And ask questions if you wish." After saying that, all of them wanted to ask her a ton of questions ranging from 'will we become robots' to 'can we color our armor as we like'.

She went straight into letting her Spartans design their own Armor using all the data she had available for them. Meanwhile,
she focused on enhancing her Spartans even futher. For the Armor designs, all had to trade off something to gain something to top what a normal Mjolnir Armor already had. For the enhanced Spartan program, it was much the same as with the Armor stuff.

The E-Class Armors: -Mjolnir IV used as basis, but with heavy SF armor influence-

- White - trades off speed for even more armor, considered a breaching armor - Black - trades off armor for even more speed, considered a scout armor - Red - trades off armor and speed for more power and weapon load, considered a tactical armor

While Elisa was making her own projects, Halsey had her own:

She also had added a jet pack unit to those three armors, and was working on different helmets for different purposes.

[RIPA SIDE]

Ripa'Moramee had enough of the failings of the Leader of his world, Malurok would be free from the stain of failure when he would cleanse this filth that sat on the Throne of Leadership.

[HUNTER SIDE]

Little did Ripa know that an ONI Prowler had arrived in system, and started scanning. These stealth vessels were made with the help of all three 'Goddesses', thus they incorporated Gavirul tech as well as the hybrid tech that came from the Isomers and Sangvis Ferri. Certainly the stealth feature was fantastic, but a Prowler cost more than a Marathon class Battlecruiser.

With Plasma cannons instead of MACs, it also was not as heavy nor as hard to maneuver as a conventional UNSC ship. Fast, Agile and Silent. Hence the name 'Prowler', and the crew of those ships were as different from their UNSC counterparts as their ship was: Orion I enhanced Humans, Civilian Dolls, Tactical Dolls, one Isomer and one Spartan II. With a crew of 90, it was quite the mix.

Still, Ripa had no idea how much the arrival of one ship would alter the fate of his world and maybe even of the Covenant itself.
"Brothers and sisters, we are withering beneath the scorching heat of atrocity!" Ripa said to the crowd that had come to hear his speech about the current bad situation their world was in, he would either succeed in dethroning that scum that had ruined Malurok or die trying. "Squandering all the wealth of our world for his personal pleasures!" Ripa continued giving his speech,
when guards started to arrive. Those guards were not here for his speech, of that Ripa was certain.

Within the Prowler 'Black Bird' Captain Hunter looked at the sensor data (What on Earth are these aliens doing? If they intend on an insurrection, maybe we should help them!) [Send in three Echelons to support the Insurgents] Said Hunter to his Com. 15 7Reach Dolls started to enter their Pelicans, three were assigned to them by the Captain. The crew of the Pelicans were 0 Spartans or Orions as ONI called them, while the soldiers were Dolls & ODST. 5 Dolls + 10 ODST + 1 Spartan III as each Pelicans Soldiers + the Pilot and the Gunner.

Pelican One 'Warbird' was to insert its team into the mountains north of the Capital.
Pelican Two 'Thunder' was to insert its team into the islands south of the Capital.
Pelican Three 'Fidget' was to insert its team into the forests east of the Capital.

Hunter looked at the plan, it was spotless like all plans before their execution. [Begin] He ordered through his Com, and the three birds flew out of their nest.

[COLE SIDE]

Admiral Person Cole was pleased, Elisa had created mixed troops as ordered. Each Tactical Squad had A Vespid, A Ripper, A Jaeger and a Brute each + 2 ODST. The Dragoons were formed into Echelons of Five each, as they were scouts with rides of their own. The Guards and Strikers he would keep as his marines, also in Echelons of Five. The machines would be part of the new and old teams: Black for new and Sand for old. This meant twice the machines for the old ODST/Marines teams while the new teams would have to settle for half of that. "How goes to integration of the Jupiters into the ship?" he asked Elisa,
who answered him [All four are now part of the ship's arsenal, positioned in the front section of the ship.]

Halo has so damned much going on that it will take some time to get into the actual story I want to tell, sorry about the seemingly infinite backstories. I will do my best to get all readers into the action both GFL and Halo deserve in the next or so Chapters.

It would seem that we will actually start with Harvest, while Reach is but one side of the story.
