Maleficent shook her head. Out of all the things that could have happened at the First Base, seeing Frodo Baggins turn vampiric, followed by his rampage across the city had to be stopped.

Maleficent hated to do this, but she would have to be the hero the First Base needed, in order to get itself back on its feet. But how was she supposed to stop Frodo, before he turned the city vampiric? This wasn't normally on her list of things to do, but if it helped, helped the heroes become more aligned with the villains, then so be it.

She returned to her throne room, determined to look into her mirror again. Surely, there was a remedy to stop this vampirism, before it spread out further than it already did.

"What sort of vampires is this new breed? Surely, I would have heard of it," Maleficent said, recall some grim memory that had just resurfaced. Had she known about this new breed of vampires? Somewhere in the past, where hardly any could recall? There was something.

Since this was the case, then how was she to get Sandria Wolff to safety, in order to sway Ronnie Baggins to return to the villains, so they could finish the progress they made.

Maleficent looked up at Sandria, as she returned to the throne room, the side of her neck bleeding. "Oh no! Sandria!" Maleficent moved towards her, surprised to see Ronnie here, snatching Sandria and drinking her blood. "I knew this had gotten out of hand. Frodo's rampage will end now!"

"But why?" Ronnie kissed Sandria's wound, making sure she had the venom inside her. "Sandria is my beloved. My one and only true love. Surely, you must have known this. Frodo's plan is moving swiftly throughout the city. Soon, Frodo will master over everyone! Wait and see! It's brilliant! Vampires that can drink water and milk. Never heard of such a thing. It's brilliant!"

"Oh, you're like the rest of them. Frodo's plan will not work," Maleficent said, stunned to see Ronnie hand Sandria a bronze ring, which caused her to return to normal.

"Oh, that's better," Sandria said, showing off her sharp teeth.

"Maleficent is next," Ronnie said, pointing to Maleficent.

"She's a witch! If we snatch her, if we turn her vampiric, who knows what might happen to us," Sandria said, alarmed.

"I am not a witch. I am a fairy," Maleficent said, her green skin turning pale, as she turned around and faced them. "I am one of the fae folk, after all. You do not mess with the fae."

"Why?" Ronnie asked, surprised when Maleficent grabbed him. Ronnie snickered, "You and your kind, the villains, tried to turn me into a villain. No more. I am free. Wait and see. Frodo's army is getting assembled now. We will defeat you. Just wait and see."

"Go to sleep," Maleficent said, casting green smoke on him and Sandria, causing them to fall asleep. She turned and faced a portal, blowing green smoke through it. "Now, Frodo Baggins, we will see what happens to you and your army, when I'm through with you."

Hours Later…

Frodo awoke in a haze. The last he remembered, he was kissing his beloved Bethany on the side of her neck, drinking her blood, while proclaiming he was going to take over the entire city. Was he still doing this part of his plan? He hardly knew. All he knew was his senses were returning. He didn't feel as vampiric as he was before. All that blood he drank… he was starting to feel sick of it.

Some part of him remembered he was a vampire. Now that part was over, he wished he hadn't been so reckless. He rubbed his eyes, looking around at his surroundings. Yes, he was inside Aster Castle's throne room. He looked at the red banners and red rugs. They were stained with blood.

He peered over his shoulder, surprised to see Bethany waking up, as well as Elijah Molvaro. They were no longer vampiric. Even Elijah's senses were restored. He didn't seem vampiric now, did he?

"Eh… what happened?" Elijah asked, pinching his nose. He was tired, but more alert.

"Bethany?" Frodo asked, approaching her. "Are you all right? You're not—"

"Vampiric? No, but I feel like I have vampire blood in my veins," Bethany said, facing him. "What about you?"

"I feel the same," Frodo said.

"What happened to us?" Bethany asked, alarmed.

"Well—"

"I'm back!" Scar-ra cried, running through the halls in desperation. She smiled, grateful to see her friends and family members again. "We made it! We're alive!" She looked at Frodo with caution. "You don't seem vampiric, do you?"

Frodo shook his head. "No, I don't. I'm sorry. That wasn't me."

Scar-ra stared at him with suspicion. She approached him, worriedly. Gently, she touched him, shocked to see he wasn't snarling at her. She hugged him; glad he was back to normal. "Ha ha ha! We're back!"

Frodo groaned, feeling the pressure of the hug. "Yes, we are." He patted her furry arm.

"I'm sorry. Lionesses. I know we're tough huggers," Scar-ra said, calmly.

"It's all right. I consider you a true friend," Frodo said, calmly.

"I wonder who woke us up," Scar-ra said, confused.

Frodo shook his head. "I don't know, but I—"

"It was Maleficent," Bethany said, staring at the writing in the air. "She's not a witch. She's a faery. She must have found a way to snap us back. Good on her, but she's still a villain."

"It doesn't mean we didn't gain her trust," Scar-ra said. She looked at Frodo and Bethany, wondering, "Hmm. Maybe she is your villain, for the both of you. How else was she able to restore everyone back to normal?"

"Where's Parker?" Bethany asked, cautiously.

Katrina woke up with a headache. She hardly recalled the last hour she'd been a vampire. All she knew was she went on a rampage through the planet Nathema, attempting to attack visions she was seeing after she turned into a vampire. Now, that she was on Nathema, all her memories and the pain the Force was giving her resurfaced. She collapsed the moment a green smoke coursed through her veins.

She sniffed the air, glad to see the vampire side leave her. Vampire blood remained in her veins. She didn't know why she felt this way. Had she always been half-vampire? She wondered that, as she stood up, staring at the vast empty expanse before her.

There was a lake with white sand. The lake no longer inhabited water. This was Nathema's fate and she was in the centermost part of the battle.

She pressed her paws against her ears. The voices were everywhere, calling out to her. What would happen if she restored the planet? What would become of it? She pulled out a flask, opening it and allowing Nathema's air to breach the vial, as she closed it.

This was Nathema's air, and now she had it in a bottle. She looked back at the ship, as Parker stepped out. He was no longer vampiric, but his eyes were yellow with red around the outer edges. She guessed he was still vampiric, too, in some way.

"You coming?" Parker asked, cautiously.

"I'm coming," Katrina said, making her way back to the ship.
