Ben followed Mal to Evie's cottage where she had decided to stay. Evie was out on a date therefore she had the place to herself. She tore her clothes out of the wardrobes and threw them violently into an old suitcase she found lying around.
" Woah, what are you doing? " Ben blatantly asked even though he was well aware of what she was up to, planning to run away. Again
" There's a doorbell for a reason maybe you should use it " She said coldly
" I'm sorry, this is all my fault, Mal please, I should have listened to you " Ben pleaded
" I'm not mad at you! I'm mad at myself for hoping that this would work. God, I'm so Naive " She sighed adjusting the clothes in her suitcase " If I leave then he can't take my baby from me "
" Don't leave me again! We will find a solution, we will not lose our kid, I promise "
" Can you guarantee it? Unless you can, I can't stay here. I don't want our baby growing up like I did " She sobbed
Ben remained silent " I'm so so sorry "

" How can I raise a baby with you, if your dad doesn't want you to see me anymore " Mal rested her head on his shoulder " I can't hide from him forever "
" I'm an adult, he can't control my life forever " Ben said " He's angry, we haven't been getting on great recently to be honest, we will find a solution. I promise. Mom is on our side, I promise. She loves you! "

" I won't stop until this goes away, I promise " Ben took her hand and kissed it
I just wish I could wake up and pretend this whole day never happened " She sighed
" Your wish is my command " Mal raised her eyebrow at her boyfriend
" I will take you on a date, I can't erase the memory but let me try and distract you from it. Stress is not good for you. Or the baby. I need to protect my family from the harshness of my own father " Ben said
