The Next Day...
The night after Johnny's patrol as Batman, he finished talking to his brother, Brett, on the phone and said that they have the opportunity to visit the hotel in a few days.
"Mavis, I've got some great news. I just talked to my brother and said that they'll be visiting the hotel in a few days." Johnny yelled in excitement.
"Really!?" Mavis smiled exposing her fangs. "Holy Rabies! This is going to be a blast! I can't wait to meet them!"
"Yeah me too! Something tells me that you guys are going to get along just fine. Especially with my sister, Melly." Johnny said.
"Aww. That's cute, honey. But we should tell this to my dad before your family comes here." Mavis said as Johnny agrees with her. "This so fun! I'm finally going to meet your sister, brothers, and your parents!" After hearing what Mavis said, Johnny's eyes winded knowing that his parents won't be able to meet Mavis and Dracula.
The young couple arrived at Dracula's office and told him about Johnny's family coming to visit the hotel in a few days. This made Dracula worried.
"More humans coming to my hotel? I don't like where this is going." Dracula said nervously.
"Come on, dad. They're Johnny's family and OUR future in-laws. Besides, we are going to meet them anyway now that Johnny and I are getting married." Mavis explained.
"Drac, I promise you. They are good people. You guys gave Alfred a chance so why not my family? Besides, it's just my brothers and sister visiting the hotel." Johnny did his best to hold back his tears while Dracula and Mavis were confused why his parents weren't coming. "Please. It would really mean a lot to me and Mavis if you let them come here."
"Alright, you two win. I'll get the staff to ready their rooms by the time they get here." Dracula said releasing a deep sigh.
Mavis and Johnny cheered in victory and thanked Dracula for giving them permission.
The rest of the day, Mavis and Johnny decided to hangout with Hank, Pedro, and Wendy at the lobby. The both of them had fun all day while Johnny started to get along with Mavis' friends. They watched the flat screen TV on the lobby about this 'Bat-man' myth.
Mavis' friends were fascinated about this vigilante running around the human village fighting the bad guys every single night. Everyone suspected that the vigilante could be another vampire or it was just made-up stories.
"Do you think Uncle Drac could that 'Bat-Man' guy, Mavis?" Wendy asked randomly which surprised both Mavis and Johnny.
"What? No! Wendy, why would you ask that kind of question?" Mavis asked. She knows her dad doesn't do those kind of stuff secretly.
"I don't know. he's a bat and Uncle Drac can transform into a bat." Wendy said randomly.
"I'm not sure about that, Wendy. I mean it's not Uncle Drac's style." Hank said disapproving Wendy's theory.
"Guys, I think Mavis is right." Johnny said pretending he doesn't know who the Batman is. "I mean Drac's been pretty busy all night working on the hotel problems and he doesn't have time for that vigilante nonsense. Probably that 'Bat-Man' news are just made-up stories."
"Yeah." Mavis said.
"I don't know about you guys but if Uncle Drac is that bat-dude, I'm telling everybody." Pedro proudly exclaimed while Mavis just gave an evil glare at her friend. Pedro just lowered his body cowardly.
All of the sudden, Johnny received a text form Alfred in phone that they should meet back in his room.
"Hey, I'll catch up with you guys later. Alfred just texted me and wants to talk about something." Johnny said while Mavis and her friends said ok.
Johnny entered Alfred's hotel room where he was working on the laptop.
"What have you got for me, Al?" Johnny asked closing the door behind him.
"Remember the Henry Claridge character you told me to find, well take a look at this." Alfred turned the laptop so that Johnny could see the character bio.
"Henry Claridge, age 43 and a wealthy business man. Turns out he owns a chemical plant in town. So he's the owner of that chemical plant." Johnny realized.
"I'm sorry. What? Do you know that place, Johnathan?" Alfred asked.
"I told you last night that there was a chemical plant break-in that I stopped a couple of months ago. It's the same one. That could be the place where Claridge is making the drugs. Good work, Al. I'll take a look at it later tonight." Johnny said. "By the way, Brett called and said they'll be coming here in a few days."
"Oh that is good news!" Alfred exclaimed in happiness. "Your family is going to love their future in-laws! I know it, Johnny!"
Johnny was so excited to see his brothers and sister again to catch up the things he missed and meeting the love of his life with her family.
Mavis and her friends headed to the kitchen and baked cookies for fun. Johnny also decided to join since he wanted to get along with Hank, Pedro, and Wendy. Johnny helped Mavis, Hank, Pedro, and Wendy to get the ingredients they needed.
"To be honest, I never baked a cookie for a while since I was at home with folks when I was a kid." Johnny confessed while making more cookie dough.
"Well lucky for you, I'm here to help you remember." Mavis said as playfully puts some cookie dough on Johnny's cheek.
"Hey stop that." Johnny laughed as he playfully put some cookie dough on her face making Mavis giggle. After their little dough fight, the oven just finished baking the first batch of cookies.
"The cookies are ready!" Wendy squealed in excitement as Johnny wore oven gloves to remove the cookies inside the oven.
"Oh cool! Bat-shaped cookies!" Johnny exclaimed when he saw the fresh baked bat-shaped cookies. It also reminded him of his 'Batarangs'.
Pedro was about to grab a 'bat-cookie' but Mavis stopped him by slapping his hand. "Ouch!" Pedro quickly rubbed his hand.
"Not yet. We can eat the cookies once we baked all of them!" Mavis stated turning her attention to her cookie dough. The second she turns her head back, Pedro already ate one bat-cookie. "PEDRO!" Mavis yelled giving her friend an evil glare.
"Uh, oh." Johnny, Hank, and Wendy gasped.
Pedro laughed nervously and a little scared. Mavis threw a piece of dough right at Pedro's face. This cause to make Johnny, Hank, and Wendy laugh.
"Alright, two can play that game!" Pedro grabbed his bowl of dough and threw pieces of dough right at his friends. They all started a huge dough-fight around the kitchen having fun.
"Hey, Johnny! Catch!" Hank threw dough right on Johnny's face but he was able to ducked down and hits the well.
"You missed!" Johnny chuckled but was hit on the face by Pedro. Mavis threw another dough at Pedro for hitting Johnny at the face.
After cleaning the kitchen, the gang hangout at the hotel pool since the sun was already out. They all wore their swimsuits and played 'Chicken Fight' like the one they did when Johnny first came at the hotel. Pedro rode at Hank's shoulders while Mavis rode at Johnny's shoulders and Wendy sat on top of Johnny's head as Mavis was able to knocked Pedro from Hank's shoulders into the water with her vampire strength. They laughed hysterically.
It was a fun night for them but they all decided to rest and headed back to their respective rooms. Johnny wanted to walk Mavis back to her room before they part ways.
"I really had fun today, Johnny." Mavis said kissing him on the cheek before entering her room.
"I did too. I really like your friends. Hope we could do this again tomorrow." Johnny replied.
"You wanna hangout in my room before you head back to your's? It's just the two of us." Mavis said while hugging her fiancé hoping he could say yes.
"Aww Mavy, I would love to but I think I need to take a rest." Johnny said. The truth is that he wanted to spend more time with Mavis but he needs to get back to 'work.'
"Ok." Mavis replied sadly.
"Don't worry, babe. There's always time for tomorrow." Johnny cheered her up as they shared one last passionate kiss for the night. "Goodnight, Mavis." Johnny whispered.
"Goodnight, Johnny. Get some rest." Mavis said in a caring tone as she entered her room and closed the door behind her.
"Sweet dreams, Mavy." Johnny whispered. A pure smile of happiness can be seen on his face knowing he's going to marry the most beautiful girl in the world.
He slowly walked away from Mavis' door and the smile on his face slowly faded into a serious one. Johnny grabbed the earbud from his pocket and placed it in his right ear.
"Alfred, you there?" Johnny asked through his earbud.
"I am, Johnathan. Ready when you are." Alfred said in the other line.
"Good. It's time we pay Mr. Claridge a little visit." Johnny said in a stern tone while walking through the hallways. The night now belongs to Batman.
