The Next Day...
Dracula was in his office finishing up some paperworks until an armored knight entered the room to give him the latest news.
"Sir! It appears you have a guest waiting for your presence." The Knight announced.
"If he or she is going to check in a room, the zombie employees can help it with that." Dracula said lazily while finishing the paperwork.
"You might want to greet them personally, sir." The Knight suggested. Just then, three vampire guests entered the Count's office.
"Hello, Count Dracula." The vampire greeted. Dracula instantly knew who this is.
"Councilman!" Dracula shouted in surprise seeing three members of the Vampire Council in his hotel, where the human Johnny was living for a couple of months now.
"Thank you for your assistance but we can take it from here." The Vampire Councilman said as the armored knight saluted and exits the office.
"So what do I owe the visit for, councilman?" Dracula asked even though he kinda guessed it already.
"I think you already know why we're here, my friend." The Vampire Councilman stated. "The Vampire Council received a news about a human who has been living here in your hotel for several months now, am I correct?"
"I'm afraid it's true." Dracula lowered his head in guilt.
"Dracula, because of your actions, you have violated the safety of all monsters in this hotel?" The Vampire Councilman said in disapproval. "You know what the Council will say about this when you reveal our presence to the humans. Some of them might still hunt our kind."
"I know, but this is different now. Johnny is a good human. He showed me that humans aren't the same back then anymore." Dracula tried to explain. "He zinged with my daughter and they're about to get married."
"They zinged?" The Vampire Councilmen had their eyes widened in surprise from what Dracula said. A human and a vampire... zinged?
Before Dracula could even continue to speak, someone suddenly walked in to his office .
"Hey dad..." Mavis said as she entered her father's office to check up on him.
"Mavis!" Dracula exclaimed in horror while Mavis was confused with the people accompanying her father.
"Who are these guys?" Mavis asked confusingly as she pointed at the 3 Vampire Councilmen.
Dracula didn't want to involve Mavis into this problem but the Vampire Councilman spoke.
"Dracula, I think we should let her join in this conversation." The Vampire Councilman suggested.
"What are you guys talking about?" Mavis asked a little nervous.
"It's nothing, Mavis!" Dracula yelled which startled Mavis then turned his attention to the councilmen. "Please, don't involve her in this. She's too young to understand."
"Dracula, This situation involves her and her fiancé. What's done is done and there's nothing you can do to change it back." The Vampire Councilman said.
"Uh, dad? What is going on" Mavis was now getting scared about this 'situation'.
"Ms. Dracula. you are aware that your father is a member of the Vampire Council, right? That explains why he hasn't been around lately at the hotel when you were young. Just a few days ago, the Vampire Council were informed that your human fiancé has discovered this hotel and has been living here for several of months now. This worries the Council." The vampire councilman explained to the young vampiress.
"Is this means that... Johnny's in trouble?" Mavis asked worriedly.
"Well that depends, Mavis." The Vampire Councilman said. "The Vampire Council can't risk of a human living with the monsters. They will prepare a meeting here at the hotel next week to discuss about the situation. If they didn't approve, I'm afraid they might have to force him out from the hotel." The Vampire Councilman finished while Mavis was now in tears after hearing the horrible news.
"No! I don't want that to happen! He didn't hurt anyone in the hotel! Please... don't take him away from me... please!" Mavis begged as she cried while Dracula quickly went over to his daughter and give her a comforting hug.
"Shhh... There there, Mavy. Daddy's right here. I promise you that I won't let this happen." Dracula calmly said trying his best to comfort Mavis.
"I am truly sorry about this but the Vampire Council are expected to arrive at the hotel next week to decide wether your daughter and the human should be together." The Vampire councilman said feeling a bad for the young vampiress.
"Does my father or any my family knows about this?" Dracula asked a little nervously.
"No. Vladimir, Lydia, and Gene does not know anything about it. I know it's not my place to tell them." The vampire councilman explained Dracula sigh in relief knowing that the rest of the Dracula family wouldn't approve of Mavis marrying a human.
"Thank you. I know that they can be 'old school' when it comes on the humans." Dracula said.
"We better get back to the Vampire Council. We'll see you all next week." The vampire councilman said before leaving Dracula's office.
"Daddy, what if the Council doesn't allow me and Johnny to be together? I don't want to lose him!" Mavis started to sob in tears again.
"That won't happen, my little voodoo doll. I won't let them take Johnny away from you." Dracula hugged Mavis again to comfort her. Martha promised Mavis that she would find and be happy with her zing forever and Dracula will do everything to fulfill Martha's wish for Mavis. "I also need you to get Johnny right now. He needs to know about this as well."
Mavis agreed wiping the rest of her tears and turned into her bat form to find Johnny. A couple of minutes later, Johnny was now joined by Dracula and Mavis inside the office. Dracula told Johnny that the Vampire Council were planning to separate him away from Mavis and the monster world, which left Johnny like he was about to have a mental breakdown.
"There going to what!?" Johnny shouted.
"Johnathan, don't worry. All we need to do is to convince the Council to change their decision about why you and Mavis should be together. If things goes well, then the wedding is still according to plan." Dracula explained trying to calm Johnny down.
"What if they didn't approve?" Johnny asked while shaking in fear. He didn't want to lose Mavis in his life.
"Then they had no choice but to exile you and your family from the monster world or they'll erase your memories of every monsters you've met, including Mavis." Dracula sadly said lowering his head down.
Johnny's eyes widened and gasped in horror. First he lost his parents and now he's going to lose Mavis. Johnny was breathing heavily like the his head was spinning until Mavis gently puts her hand on his shoulder, wiping out some of his nervousness away.
"So what are we going to do now?!" Mavis asked.
"We wait until next week. The Vampire Council will be expecting us all in that time here at the hotel." Dracula replied.
Later that day, Dracula already told Frank, Eunice, Wayne, Wanda, Murray, and Griffin about the Vampire Council proposing the idea of exiling Johnny away from the human world and was shocked to hear the news.
Meanwhile, Mavis locked herself up inside her room crying on her bed about the fact Johnny and his family might be forced to leave the hotel and never to return. Hank, Pedro, and Wendy were there to cheer her up.
"Come on, Mavis. Cheer up. Everything's going to be alright." Wendy said gently patting Mavis' back, who was burying her face on the pillow still crying.
"Yeah. Hopefully everything's gonna turn out fine eventually. I know Uncle Drac won't let that happen." Hank said.
"Guys, I'm worried!" Mavis exclaimed. "I know that Johnny is my zing and I want to spend the rest of my life with him. If the Council doesn't agree of us being together, my dad said that they might have to wipe off his memories about me." Mavis said and buried her face on the pillow again to cry.
"Well, I guess we gotta go head to that Council and give them a piece of our mind. I you know what I mean." Pedro said punching his palm while forming a sinister smirk.
"And how are we going to do that?" Hank raised an eyebrow confused at Pedro's stupid idea.
"I don't know. I haven't thought about that." Pedro said immediately shrugged his shoulder.
"Guys! Now is not the time for jokes!" Wendy yelled at Hank and Pedro while continuing to pat Mavis' back. While this was happening, someone entered Mavis' room.
"Hey, Mavis." Johnny said as he slowly entered Mavis room. Mavis took her face off from the pillow when she heard Johnny's voice.
"Johnny!" Mavis screamed running towards to Johnny hugging him tightly. "I don't want the Council to take you away from me! We were suppose to get married and start our new life." Mavis sobbed in tears and buried her face on Johnny's shoulder.
"Hey don't worry about that, alright." Johnny said softly as he hugged Mavis back to comfort her. It really hurts him seeing Mavis sad like this. He did all he can to comfort her. "Nothing is going to take me away from you. I promise you that everything's going to be alright. Your dad has everything under control."
"You... you promise?" Mavis asked as they made eye contact to each other.
"Of course! I love you, Mavis. You mean the world to me and I will do everything to make you happy for the rest of my life. No matter what happens, you're still going to be my Mrs. Loughran." Johnny said in a loving tone to Mavis while looking at her big blue beautiful eyes.
After hearing those warm-hearted words, Mavis managed to give Johnny a weak but happy smile. It really helped her calm down a little. Johnny used his finger to put some of Mavis' hair behind her ear and pulled her closer to kiss her passionately. Hank, Pedro, and Wendy were awed at Mavis and Johnny's love for each other.
Johnny, Hank, Pedro, and Wendy decided to stay in Mavis' room to accompany her for the time being as they played some bored games for fun.
After the time passed, Both Johnny and Mavis were back to their normal selves but still worried about the hearing next week. Brett, Kent, and Melly on the other hand were nervous as well. They decided to extend their stay at the hotel to support Johnny and Mavis, which they were thankful for, even Dracula.
Dracula, Mavis, Johnny, Frank, Eunice, Wayne, Wanda, Murray, Griffin, Hank, Pedro, Wendy, Brett, Kent, Melly, and Alfred had their lunch all together at the cafeteria.
After finishing all their meals, Mavis, Hank, Pedro, and Wendy decided that they wanted to visit the human village later tonight.
"Hey, guys. Is it okay if we visit the human village tonight?" Hank asked.
"What?!" Dracula, Frank, Eunice, Wayne, Wanda, Murray, and Griffin shouted in surprise.
"Come on! I think it'll be cool if we do something fun outside." Wendy said.
"I think it's not a bad idea, Drac. We haven't been outside the hotel lately and I think it might help get the stress out about the hearing." Frank suggested.
"Besides, the humans at the village are cool with us now." Griffin said.
"I don't know about that, guys." Dracula said while shrugging his shoulder.
"Aww. Come on, dad. Please." Mavis turned into her bat form to give her father a familiar sad face.
"Oh no no no. Come on, Mavis. You know I cannot resist the pouty bat face." Dracula groaned trying his best to resist the pouty bat.
"Aww!" Everyone said looking at how cute Mavis is trying to be 'daddy's little girl'.
"Alright fine! We'll visit the human village tonight." Dracula gave in while Mavis changed back into her human form and cheered in victory with her friends.
