Welcome to Another Dimension part 3:

The stand "Another Dimension" used in this chapter is not my original creation. It was conceptualized by Youtube-user Hoel Yvert and Visualized by youtuber AP274. Consider this fanwork of their fanwork.

I will change up my release schedule, with shorter chapters released more often.

Mirino sailed up the raindrops toward Virus T's drone. His Weezers hissed ominously. Virus got nervous and tried to escape back inside. "Oh no, you don't!"" screamed Mirino and shot some water bullets from his finger.

They blasted straight into the drone, and it started acting up.

Virus decided to abandon the drone and hurled a baseball towards an open window. He immediately jumped into it, and escaped back inside.

Mirino feared facing Virus alone, but as if on command Shizuka burst out on the roof of a neighboring building.

"Mirino! Where is the bastard!?" screamed Shizuka. "He escaped into this apartment! I need your help!" explained Mirino. "Oh shit, can you get us over there?" Without another word Mirino spread his Weezers over to the roof. He then concentrated deeply, and formed the raindrops into an ice bridge.

"Oh. My. God. You can do shit like this!? Awesome!" shouted Shizuka before jumping on it and gliding down the bridge like a slip-n-slide while Mello had his Sundays safely carry him down the bridge. When he got there Shizuka was searching through the living room. "Where's Mirino?" "He is out in the stairwell."

Mello nodded, and started sending his Sunday's to search through the apartment. Virus ability made every surface a possible hiding place, so they needed to be careful. Mello moved over to the kitchen, thinking that it was the room with the most possible hiding places. To his surprise he found a small dog sleeping on the floor. He kneeled down and gave it a gentle pat on the head. It awoke and growled loudly at him, before going off into the apartment.

Meanwhile Shizuka was getting more and more frustrated searching for Virus. After combing through the entire room she was ready to give up, before realizing that the rug would be a perfect hiding place. When Achtung reached out to turn it invisible Shizuka felt something brush up against her leg. She jumped and turned around to attack, but found that it was only the dog. She let out a deep sigh, and continued searching.

The second she let her guard down, Virus went for it. He turned 3D and burst out of the dog's body, and swiped at Shizuka. Before she had time to react he turned her 2D. "Mello!" she screamed out.

Mello heard, grabbed a kitchen knife and ran out into the living room. Virus dove into the floor and jumped up towards him. Mello managed to dodge just in time and responded with a knife thrust. While they were dueling Shizuka tried adjusting herself to the bizarre, horrifying feeling of being 2D.

She could only look forward, straight up at the ceiling because if she tilted her head she would only see an infinite begie of the same shade as the floor. She couldn't move forward or backwards, only pointlessly flail her limbs sideways.

"Shizuka, are you here? I'm under the carpet!" Mirino called out "Mirino,he got you? Damn, this feels awful. I'm ready to puke!" "Yeah, same, but! I have found a way to move! You can't move forward, but you can pull yourself to the side! This is going to tickle a bit, but hold still!"

Something wet pushed up against Shizukas leg, and she could feel Mirino being pulled towards her. "Cool! Where did you get this water in the 2D-world?" asked Shizuka. "Sweat." She returned to thoughts of puking.

Mello and Virus were still fighting. Virus jumped up towards Mello, who swiped forward only to end up piercing a pillow. While Mello recoiled, Virus attacked and turned his legs 2D, before going for the kill, but Mello threw a ball of Sundays straight into his face.

He screamed "Fuck!" and retreated into the carpet. The second Virus was in the soft, fragile carpet Mello attacked with his knife, ripping up a huge gash on his shoulder. Virus cried out, but his pride refused to let him lose. He pulled Mello completely into the 2D-world before popping out of it.

"Finally! I caught you like the vermin that you are! Once again my prime intellect proves too much for those beneath me." He sauntered out of the living room and into the kitchen to get a glass of water. "Your next line is 'How the hell did you get out?!" Shizuka shouted from just behind him. Before Virus had time to think he got hammered in the face by Achtung Baby.

"Shizushizushizushizu... Shizuka!" Virus' face didn't get as mangled as Shizuka wanted, so she turned parts of it invisible to create the illusion of a bloody mess. "Aaaaaargh! How the hell did you get out?" screamed Virus. "The last second you were in the 2D-world, Mirino used his Weezers to make me pull me close to your leg, so when you turned 3D, I followed. Gotcha, fucker!"

Virus was panicking inside. Shizuka had been able to attack him! Noone had ever been able to get close to him before, not the workers in his fathers company, not the poor people he had hunted and now, with Another Dimension, not even the law. He took a deep breath, collected all his frustration and hurt pride, and used it as fuel. While Shizuka was gloating about how she had tricked him, he used a hidden blade to cut off his own finger. Blood burst out and quickly pooled on the floor.

"Ahhhh! What the hell, man? I know you are fucking insane, but why?" Shizuka's face turned pale. The split second she was distracted Virus sent Another Dimension through the floor, and fused Shizuka's leg's together.

"Wait wha-" She fell face first into the pool of blood. Virus turned her head 2D on the surface of the puddle, and sent AD to get Mirino.

He got there and Virus turned his head 3D so he could see everything. "Yeah, what do you want?" said Mirino, very relaxed about the situation.

"Well, kidnapping you has caused me a lot of trouble, much more than it's worth." Virus slowly pulled his finger through the puddle, which split the blood and cut off Shizuka's ear. It happened so fast Shizuka didn't feel the pain until a few seconds later. "Ahhhhhhh! For fuck's sake, let me out!"

"I will cut off every part of her body with this technique of mine, and you will learn a valuable lesson! I, Virus T, have the birthright to strike fear in others. Another Dimension is just more proof of that."

Mirino took in his words calmly, and then spit him in the face. "What? You insolent little-" "You go on and on about how high and mighty and important you are, why don't you do the world a favor and just shut up. " Mirino stated.

"You don't understand, do you! I guess I'll have to…" Virus punched himself in the face with full force. "Huh?" he said before doing it again. "The Weezers in the spit, dumbass. They got into your blood." Virus started pummeling himself into a bloody mess. He tried to stand up, but he clobbered himself so hard in the stomach that he fell through the kitchen window and down four levels, before landing face first on the asphalt.

A few hours later Virus was being carried into an ambulance, and Mello, Shizuka and Mirino had slipped away to a nearby restaurant. Mello was busy calling Mirino's parents to assure them that he was safe while Mirino created spaghetti sculptures to Shizuka's amazement.

"Jeez, your ability is overpowered! I'm jealous!" Mirino removed his hat and bowed, which got a laugh out of Shizuka. "But seriously, you were awesome back there! That was a full fledged serial killer, and you handled him with ease. Though, I still feel like a bag of shit for pulling you into this." Shizuka leaned back on her chair and drank her cola. "Ah, forget about it. I'll still help you out, but I ain't going to fight unless I have to." said Mirino.

The evening stopped being peaceful when Mello was suddenly thrown through the air and smashed into the sidewalk. Shizuka immediately stood up and got Achtung ready to attack the unknown assailant. When she did she could hear a low chuckle coming from up above.

Balancing on a streetlight, holding Joseph Joestar in one hand, was Hellstrom. His jewelry reflected the moonlight, so he bathed in a haunting light. Joseph wasn't moving, but he was clearly still alive. "Well, long time no see! You survived Virus just fine!"

"How did you locate us so quickly?" asked Shizuka, dreading the answer. "Oh, well, after your father sent you that despicable piece of information I thought he would repay the favor, to make it fair." answered Hellstrom. "But of course he didn't think of it that way, so I had to persuade him somehow." Hellstrom rolled up Joseph's sleeve, revealing large, red-black burn marks.

"You motherfucker! Leave him alone!" screamed Shizuka and shot Hellstrom in the head with her stolen gun. Blood and brain matter burst out, but Hellstrom didn't flinch.

"Now, now, I didn't come here just to show off, I came to raise the emotional stakes a little! I'l. let you speak to dear old pa' again!"

Hellstrom carelessly threw Joseph down from the streetlight, but right before he hit the ground he floated in the air for a second, before landing safely. Shizuka immediately ran up and crouched down beside him, with tears in her eyes. "Shizuka? Is that you, Shizuka?"

Shizuka sobbed. "Yes, dad, it's me. What the fuck did he do to you?" Joseph smiled. "Oh, these? These are a small price to pay for keeping you safe. I met that goddamn asshole he sent after you. But you beat him! What a champ!" Shizuka, still sobbing, smiled. "Well, I learned from the best. And I had some assistance."

Joseph embraced her in his arms, like she was still seven and had scraped her knee. "You don't need to prove anything, my child. The Joestar spirit lies within you. Even if you fail to save me, you-" Shizuka slapped him in the face. "I will save you, old man. Whatever that ancient creep has in store, I will defeat him."

Hellstrom gasped. "I do have feelings, you know?" Joseph burst out laughing, a coarse, dry laugh instead of his warm, comforting one. "Well, I'll be waiting. Say hi to your mother for me, and improve your Achtung." "Wait!" shouted Shizuka. "Why did you want me to find Mirino?" Hellstrom landed in between them. "Aaaand time's up. Well, have a good few day's, we'll meet on Tuesday in two weeks, so that'll be fun!"

Before anybody could do anything else Hellstrom grabbed Joseph and burst away at a superhuman speed into a nearby alleway. Shizuka ran after, but he was already gone. But to her, it didn't matter. Joseph was waiting for her, so whatever Hellstrom was planning to do, she would save him.

Suddenly her phone alerted her that she had gotten an Email. She opened it, and found that it had been sent from her phone. It was a Hermit Purple-picture of a fly standing on the surface of water. Mello ran up to Shizuka. "What's that?" "I dunno, but we got ourselves a clue! And in thirteen days, we'll find out what it means!"

Virus T was the son of a rich businessman set to inherit his company, but the power got to his head and he became a serial killer, paying poorer people to allow him to hunt them. He got arrested, but escaped and gained Another Dimension from Hellstrom. Believes he has a right to strike fear into others.
