Hello again my readers, last time you saw our Running Men get settled in and prepare for the next game. But now is not the time for that. This chapter will be something different. What's gonna happen next? Read the next chapter of Total Drama: Running Time!
It was already night when the scene switches to a hotel room somewhere in Toronto. Chris and Don have teamed up to create a reunion vacation for everyone who has competed to relax and have fun. The people in the room were Leshawna, Beth, Lindsay, Cody, Sierra and Noah. Lindsay and Beth were lying down on the bed, Noah was looking at his phone, and the others…
"I've been developing, take a look at the benefits, nothing to meddle with, I can never be delicate…" Leshawna, Cody and Sierra were singing The Search by NF.
We then see Noah looking worried on his phone.
"What's wrong, Nora?" Lindsay noticed Noah's worry.
"It's Noah." Beth corrects her. "Still, what's wrong.
"Yeah, your starting to be a lot more down that usual." Leshawna also noticed his odd behavior.
"Yeah, dude. What's up?" Cody also chimes in.
"Hugh, well, Emma, Kitty and Owen were supposed to arrive this morning. They also aren't answering my calls. And it's weird that Kitty of all people who would miss calls." Noah showed worry for his friends.
"I know, it's been 12 hours since Kitty posts something on Instagram." Sierra adds that fact.
"Great, you stalk me, now your stalking my girlfriend and her sister?" Noah asked if he heard it right.
"No, I don't stalk the Ridonculous Race contestants, even if most of them are really awesome, like this one time, Brody did a somersault and ate a Dorito midair and…" Sierra was chatting up a storm and was getting off topic.
"We are getting sidetracked here, can we just get back on the rails please." Noah tried to get Sierra's attention.
"Oh yeah, right. Some people in my fanclub are stalking your girlfriend and her sister and told me something was wrong." Sierra talked about how her fanclub told her about it.
"Great, they have stalkers and I can't do anything about it." Noah frowned at the fact that his girlfriend and her sister have stalkers.
"Cheer up man, maybe they got delayed." Cody tried to think positive about the situation.
"If they were delayed, they would have texted me about it." Noah sighed.
"Well, we can't help you there man. We may have endured Total Drama, but we aren't master detectives or anything." Leshawna frowned that they couldn't help him.
Suddenly, someone burst through the window. Green top, lime green skirt, and curly orange hair, It was Izzy.
"Except me!" Izzy yelled out.
"Woah, can you please stop destroying properties?!" Leshawna exclaimed.
"What? It's coming out of Chris' bank account." Izzy laughs it off not thinking much.
"Whatever, you said you're a master detective, Izzy." Noah pointed out what the redhead said.
"Wait, master detective? I thought you said master protecter." Izzy states that she misheard.
"What nutjob will want your protection?" Leshawna asked who would want protection from Izzy.
"I dunno. Someone like her?" Izzy then pointed to Lindsay.
"Wait, what are we talking about?" Lindsay asked, having lost track of the conversation.
"Whatever, I just have to hope that they're safe." Noah sighs.
Suddenly the door opens, revealing a fellow contestant. Pink shirt, blue pants, and blonde hair with a cowboy hat. This was Geoff.
"Dudes, there is this mysterious dude in the party room right now, they told us to get everyone." Geoff said.
"Well, at least there is something to keep your mind off your friends. Let's go!" Leshawna smiles.
Everyone ran out of the room.
They reach the main party room. Everyone else was waiting inside. Everyone, but 16 others.
"What's going on here?" Leshawna asked for a status of the situation.
"This dude started tinkering with the TV after Geoff left." Bridgette was explaining the situation.
Noah makes his way through the crowd and sees a white hooded person messing with the TV.
"Hey, mess with your own TV, this is hotel property." Chris talks to them.
The person continued tinkering.
"Hey!" Chris shouted to get their attention.
The person still did what they're doing.
"Okay, what's this guy's deal?" Jo asked confused by what they were doing.
"Hey you!" Max began yelling at them. "I demand to know why you are here!"
The person still was doing their thing.
"Well, I tried. This isn't my problem so I'm gonna leave." Max began walking away.
"Wait, I think they're almost done." Bridgette stopped Max from walking away.
The person stood up, takes off the hood and reveals themselves to be...
"Scarlett?!" Everyone exclaimed.
Eva immediately jumped at her and tries to land a punch. Scarlett puts out a small, circular, card like item and inserts it into her watch.
Spirit of the Shadows
Just before Eva lands a hit, Scarlett morphs into an intangible black cloud, making Eva's punch go right through her. This caused everyone to gasp.
"What the?!" Eva exclaimed in confusion.
Scarlett morphed back to her human form, slightly dazed.
"Oh, man this feels weird, I haven't used this for months." Scarlet muttered to herself.
Eva turned and gave another swing, but Scarlett morphs back into a cloud. Scarlett then switches back to human.
"Stand down, I really don't want to do this." Scarlett tries to talk her out of this.
"Well, coming here was a bad idea." Eva said.
Eva keeps throwing punch after punch, but Scarlett keeps morphing with each swing. Eventually, Eva gets worn out from punching while Scarlett stands unscathed.
"Will you now stop?" Scarlett asked if Eva will stand down.
Eva gave another swing but Scarlett just morphed again.
"Hugh, okay, I give up." Eva then falls flat on the ground.
Everyone stared in shock that someone picked a fight with Eva and come out unscathed.
"Okay, what just happened here?!" Jo yelled in confusion.
"Did she just fight Eva… and win?" Leshawna was utterly speechless.
"And did anyone see that Scarlett can morph into dark clouds?!" Noah yelled.
"Okay, why are you here?" Sky asked why Scarlett arrived.
"Tell us now! I demand it!" Max yelled.
"Relax, guys. I'm not here to hurt you." Scarlett tries to bring down the tension.
"Her actions in her season say otherwise." Noah snarked at her actions.
"Look, I have something to tell you about." Scarlet then takes out a remote and presses a button.
The screen shows 8 of the missing contestants on the third leg of the Running Man Championship Opening.
"What the?" Noah said to himself.
"What's going on here?" Bridgette asked.
Scott then began hyperventilate, something Dawn eyed.
"You see here, 8 of your friends are kidnapped and forced to compete in a competition called Running Man." Scarlett explains.
"How come they were chosen instead of us?!" Josee demanded an answer.
"Wait, Kitty? Owen?" Noah recognises the two.
"Duncan? Owen? Heather?" Geoff recogises his friends.
"Is this fake? I think this is fake." Bridgette immediately comes to the conclusion that it's fake.
"No, I sense this is entirely true." Dawn tells everyone.
"Well, if the moonchild finds the video entirely true, then no need to argue." Jo sarcastically remarks. "But why is Scott hyperventilating?" Jo then points to Scott on the floor.
"I sense PTSD radiating from him." Dawn said.
"PTSD?! PTSD from what?!" Jo questioned what the moonchild said.
"I'll tell you." Scarlett then walked to Scott and pulled him up.
But then they hugged each other, catching almost everyone off guard.
"We were chosen for last year's Running Man." Scarlett then gives everyone the news.
"It was horrible. When I saw the stadium, all I can think about is the red crystal." Scott was calming down a bit.
"Don't worry, your not under it's influence anymore." Scarlett was helping with cooling Scott down.
"Wait, wait, wait. Red crystal?" Sanders asked, appearing interested in the conversation.
"Why? Why are you interested." Scarlett asked while getting out of the hug.
"Oh, just curiosity, and that the fact that my partner is also competing in the games." Sanders shrugged it off.
Scarlett then eyes a bracelet Sanders was wearing. The same exact metal bracelet that Kitty was wearing.
"Oh my gosh, you're a Peacekeeper agent." Scarlett was surprised.
"Umm, what are you talking about?" Sanders asked confused.
"I recognise that bracelet. While I was doing my research on this game, I found out about another organisation trying to find out about the games." Scarlett was saying everything she can remember.
"Okay, I admit, I am a part of the Peacekeepers." Sanders said which made almost everyone gasp.
Noah took a glance at Sanders' bracelet and his eyes opened wide.
"That's the same bracelet Kitty and Emma have!" Noah exclaimed in recognition.
"Wait, are you suggesting there is a Peacekeeper agent in the games?" Sanders asked.
"Um, I suppose so." Noah was unsure how to answer that.
"Well, I think we got a Code Lavender in our hands." Sanders then talks about Code Lavender.
"Wait, are we seriously going to believe the mall cop?" Josee sees nothing in this makes sense.
"Yeah, I see no sense in this." Jacques adds.
"Oh, so a simple bracelet isn't enough validation for you?" Sanders was losing a bit of her temper. "You know, I had a lot of stress not knowing where my partner is, and the stress added when I find out that she's in a dangerous show with out even knowing. And now, I'm dealing with you two? It makes me want to punch." Sanders clenched her fists tightly.
"Oh, you think a simple punch can drop my spirits? You couldn't discourage a baby with those fists." Josee was going far with this.
Sanders' bracelet turned into a blob of metal which covered her hand. The blob then morphed into something like an electrical shock gauntlet. Sanders then sent a swing towards Josee's face.
"Oh crap!" Josee was hit square in the face and flew a bit, landing on the floor while shaking from the electricity.
"Aaaaah!" Jacques yelled as he saw his friend hit square in the face.
Most of the others had their mouths agape.
"Is that enough validation?" Sanders grinned.
"Oh yeah, I forgot Peacekeeper bracelets can morph into weapons." Scarlett noted about the bracelet.
"Okay, we still have a lot of questions. How can you turn into a cloud? What other things do you know? And why are there only 8 there, weren't there 16 missing?" Jo was asking a lot of questions.
"Dirst I have a Spirit, whenever someone wins a match, they'd get one. It's pretty facinating." Scarlett explains about the Spirits.
"Well then, do you still have my watch and Spirit?" Scott feasibly asks about his spirit.
"Your watch and the Spirit of Fire are back at my base." Scarlett answered the question.
"Okay, that's reassuring." Scott smiled a bit.
"Secondly, I don't have much knowledge about the Running Man Championship of the Peacekeepers. And thirdly, other than Emma probably out helping with the investigations of her sister, I think the others are probably delayed." Scarlet answered the other questions.
"I'm gonna talk to Mission Control about the situation." Sanders walks out of the room.
"Well then, unless you want to come with me and Scott, I suggest you stay here, and possibly help Sanders." Scarlet suggests. "And if the others arrive, tell them of the situation."
"I want to come." Noah stood up.
"I'll come too!" Izzy jumped on Noah's back. "And Eva should come with, too!"
"What?" Eva was confused by Izzy's statements.
"Yeah! I want Team E-scope to be back together again!" Izzy states.
"Um, no." Eva states firmly that she doesn't want to come with.
"You are coming!" Izzy yelled.
"Okay, okay, but I'm not gonna enjoy it." Eva sighed in defeat
"I'll come too." Zoey jumped the gun.
"Me too." Sky also joined in.
"Anyone else?" Scarlett asks for more volunteers. "No? Well then, take care."
Scarlett and the group walk out of the room.
"Now what?" Geoff asks what to do now.
"I guess we wait." Bridgette suggests them to stay put.
"Um, okay." Geoff agrees with her.
They just stand there.
"Wait, what just happened?" Lindsay asked, not really getting what happened.
Okay, chapter 4 is done. Next chapter will be the first round of the solo match of the Running Man Championship. If you want to know what happens, stay tuned, for Total Drama: Running Time!
