Hi again. Time for another chapter. Last time, reconnaissance drones were flying all around as people were looking for answers. But now is the third solo match of the 100th Running Man Championship! Shall we begin? It's time for Total Drama: Running Time!

We then see the Running Men in the stadium standing on their platforms. They were in a circular formation.

"It's time for another game." Mike smiled.

"Yeah! Whoo!" Kitty whooped in excitement.

"But isn't anyone bothered by the fact that we are in a circle formation?" Heather pointed out that something was off.

"Eh, I don't really care." Duncan doesn't mind much about it.

"But we still have to keep it in mind." Shawn said that they should at least put a pin in it.

"Don't worry about it. Maybe it's just part of the game." MacArthur shrugs.

"Yeah, don't worry about it." Carrie tried to ease the tension.

Suddenly, floating discs materialize above each of the contestants.

"Hey, what are these?" Owen asked.

"I've got a bad feeling about this." Heather states that she doesn't feel good.

"Yeah, this doesn't seem right." Mike said.

Then in a moment, lasers appear, trapping each of the Running Men in their platforms.

"What the heck?!" Kitty exclaimed from the unexpected surprise.

"Are we imprisoned?!" Shawn asked in panic.

"Yeah, I guess so. Get used to it." Duncan said.

Kitty puts her arm through one of the lasers. This caused her to be electrified.

"Ach! Ow!" Kitty yelped.

"It's electrified?!" Owen yelled in seeing Kitty getting electrified.

"Ugh, this is going to be a long match." Heather said.

"Don't worry. As I've said this is part of the game." MacArthur shruged.

"Okay then, let's see the rules." Carrie said.

Suddenly, a light formed on the arena and around the Running Men.

"This is awesome!" Owen yelled.

Then the light materialized into a tower taller than the War Tower.

-Arena Name: The Ultimate Tower-

7 Floors

The Running Men are in the middle of the first floor. There were stairs leading up to the second floor. 2 more layers of lasers appear around the cells.

"Oh, great. Now what?" Heather complained about the extra security.

A robot appears in the middle of the floor.

"It's time for the third solo match for the Running Man Championship!" The robot announced. "The game is called The Escape Race!"

"The Escape Race?!" The Running Men exclaimed.

Then a holographic screen appeared in each cell.

"First you must escape from your individual holding cells. Then you must escape from the tower." A female voice explains the goal of the game.

"Well that's obvious." Heather said.

"You are currently imprisoned on the 1st floor of the Tower. The exit is on the 7th floor, the highest floor of the tower." The female voice continues. "Starting from the 2nd floor, each floor is divided into 12 rooms. You can climb the stairs in each room to climb to the next floor. All staircases have a door at the end, but not all of them open."

"Okay then, this is a game of chance." Kitty said.

"Why 7 flights of stairs?!" Owen exclaimed.

"Whoever escapes the tower first will win the third round of the solo match." The female voice continues.

"It's Running Time!" The robot announced.

The game is now on. The Running Men begin looking around for a way out of their cells.

"What? No special treatment for me?" Duncan complained that he doesn't have a special role.

"Hmm, how do I get out of here?" Kitty asked.

Kitty looks up and sees that her cell as well as the others are slowly getting smaller in height. If they don't get out in time, they'll probably get crushed by the ceiling.

"Hey! What the heck is this?!" Kitty exclaimed.

The lasers then began spinning.

We then see Mike in his cell.

"Okay, here we go." Mike took a deep breath.

Mike then jumped through the lasers in one quick dive. He lands on his feet with a roll.

"Okay, that was easy, thankfully I still have Svetlana's skills." Mike smiled.

Mike then began running up the stairs.

"3… 4… 5… 6… 7… 8… 9… 10…" Duncan was counting to find something.

When Duncan's count reaches 12, he sees an opening through the lasers.

"Okay, an opening every 12 seconds. Keep that in mind." Duncan said.

Duncan waits for another opening. Kitty, Owen, Heather and MacArthur overheard him and prepared to jump.

The opening appears again, causing everyone to jump.

"Yargh!" Duncan yelled while jumping.

"Whoo!" Kitty yelled while jumping.

"Yeah!" MacArthur yelled while jumping.

"Woohoo!" Owen yelled while jumping.

Duncan and Kitty successfully jump out of their cells.

But Owen and MacArthur weren't so lucky. They were caught by the lasers midair.

"Yaaaaaaaaghh!" Both of them yelled.

They then faceplant in the floor, with some burn marks.

"Whoa! You guys alright?!" Kitty ran up to them, concerned.

"Yep! I'm ready for school mommy!" Owen said in a daze.

"Well, we can't take someone out of a daze, he'll just have to wake himself up." Duncan said.

MacArthur stood up, weakened a bit.

"Ugh, it's like the diffusing drill back at the academy." MacArthur groaned from the electrical shock.

"Well then, let's go!" Kitty yelled.

They all run up the stairs to the 2nd floor.

"Um, guys?" Carrie asked.

"Don't worry, we'll just wait for the next opening." Shawn assured.

In the 2nd floor, we see Mike walking up the stairs to a hatch in the ceiling. He puts his hand on it.

"Is this the one?" Mike asked.

The door opens up to reveal the 3rd floor.

"Finally found it." Mike smirks.

As he pulls himself up, Heather runs into the room.

-Spirit of Energy-

Heather runs up the staircase and jumps into the third floor.

"Too slow!" Heather taunted him.

"Hey! Come back here!" Mike yelled.

As the door closes, Kitty runs up the stairs after seeing the two run up it.

"Okay, just have to follow them, and I'm good." Kitty said to herself.

As she was about to open the door, the whole tower began to shake.

"Whoaaaoooaaah!" Kitty yelled as she tries to keep balance.

Outside the tower, we see sections of the tower spinning. The tower then stops.

"What the heck was that?!" Kitty yelled.

Kitty puts her hand on the door. But now it won't open.

"Hey! It opened up before! Well, open up already!" Kitty yelled in frustration.

"A contestant has reached the 3rd floor! Increasing security! Increasing security!" A female voice announced.

Back at the 1st floor, we see Shawn and Carrie in their cells. They were about to jump through the opening.

"Yaaagh!" They both yelled.

But Carrie's foot touches the laser.

"Yagh!" Carrie yelled.

Carrie faceplants into the floor.

"Ooh! That's gotta hurt!" Shaw exclaimed at the sight.

Shawn walks up to Carrie in concern.

"You okay?" Shawn asked.

"Ugh." Carrie groaned a bit as she stood up. "I'm okay."

"Okay then." Shawn said.

Owen then gets up behind him.

"Oh, man! That hurts!" Owen yelled from the pain.

"You okay bud?" Shawn asked.

"Ugh, my everywhere hurts." Owen said.

"Okay, let's go." Shawn said.

Both of them run up the stairs to the second floor.

"All contestants have escaped their holding cells! Increasing security! Increasing security!" The female voice announced.

We see Duncan walking down stairs after failing to open the hatch in the 2nd floor.

"None of these doors seem to open! How on earth will I get upstairs!" Duncan yelled.

Suddenly, as he enters a room, 2 massive robots appear in front of him.

"Aaah! What the heck are you guys!" Duncan yelled from surprise.

One of the robots try to grab him. But then he pulls out a Spirit.

-Spirit of Strength-

Duncan took a couple of swings at them.

"Heh, how you like that!" Duncan taunts.

The robots get back up and keep trying to grab him.

"Okay, you're relentless." Duncan said.

He keeps punching them, but no matter what, they get back up.

"Time to go now!" Duncan said in seeing that there is no point in fighting.

Duncan begins running away from the robots.

We then see MacArthur climbing up a latch into the 3rd floor.

"Okay, 3 floors down, 4 to go." MacArthur said to herself.

Kitty climbs up behind her.

"Hey, MacArthur!" Kitty yelled.

"Yeah? What?" MacArthur asked.

"I kinda saw Duncan being chased by giant robots." Kitty said. "Do you want to use them for target practice?"

"Heck yeah!" MacArthur yelled in excitement.

"You go. I'll go somewhere else." Kitty said

They split up, with MacArthur finding a robot to fight and Kitty finding a way up.

We then see Heather climbing up to the 4th floor.

"So, there are 12 rooms on each floor, with 2 staircases in each room. Out of the 24 doors, only 6 will open. And the tower shifts every time someone enters a new floor." Heather was listing some notes in her head. "With a pattern, I would probably find a way quickly."

Heather begins running into other rooms.

We then see Mike climbing up the staircase in the 3rd floor.

"I hope this is the one." Mike said.

As he was about to touch the gate, the tower began shifting.

"Whoaaa!" Mike tried to keep balance.

The shifting then stops.

"A contestant has entered the 4th floor! Increasing security! Increasing security!" The female voice announced again.

"Heather has made it to the 4th floor?" Mike asked confused.

Mike then puts his hand on the hatch. It then opens.

"Okay then." Mike smiled.

Mike then climbs up the the hatch. He then sees Heather running from something.

"Aaaaaaaah!" Heather yelled.

"What the?" Mike was confused.

Suddenly, Mike sees a big robot chasing after her.

"Oh shoot!" Mike jumps back into the hatch, hanging onto the ledge.

After the stomping passed, Mike poked his head back up.

"Okay, it's gone now." Mike said.

We then see Owen and Shawn being chased by 2 robots in the 2nd floor.

"Run!" Shawn yelled.

"This is getting very tiring for me!" Owen yelled.

The 2 then ran up the stairs. Shawn puts his hand on the hatch and it opens.

"Owen! Up here!" Shawn yelled as he jumps up the hatch.

"Okay!" Owen jumped into the hatch but gets stuck. "Oh no."

"Owen! Use your boots!" Shawn prompted Owen to use his tool.

"Oh yeah, right." Owen laughed.

Owen's rocket boots kicked into full gear.

"Ahhh!" Owen yelled in pain from squishing.

"Come on, come on." Shawn said.

Then Owen popped out of the hatch. Due to the energy, he crashed into Shawn and into a wall.

"Owie!" Owen yelled from the pain.

"Agh! Now I know how Noah feels." Shawn said.

"You'll get used to it." Owen said.

They stand up, rubbing in places that were hurt.

"Okay, now what?" Owen asked.

"I guess we just wait for a bit." Shawn said.

Then Kitty walks into the room.

"Hey guys." Kitty greets.

"Oh, nothing. Just being chased by robot security guards." Shawn said.

"Okay then." Kitty said.

Kitty climbs up a staircase and opens up a hatch.

"Guys, this one's open." Kitty prompted them.

"Neat." Owen said.

Owen and Shawn walk up the stairs and follow Kitty into the next floor.

We then see MacArthur walking into a room of the 3rd floor. She sees Duncan in the room panting.

"What are you doing?" MacArthur asked.

"Oh man, I was chased by a security bot for 5 minutes." Duncan was panting heavily.

"So, how about you take one staircase, I try the other one." MacArthur said.

"Oh, that one doesn't work. Use the other one." Duncan points out.

"Well, okay then." MacArthur agreed

MacArthur walked up a staircase with Duncan trailing behind. MacArthur puts her hand on the hatch and then it opened.

"Found it." MacArthur said.

"MacArthur! Look out!" Duncan warned.

A black portal appeared beside MacArthur. The giant hand grabbed her and pulls her in.

"What the heck!" MacArthur yelled.

MacArthur was pulled into the portal.

We then go back to a holding cell. MacArthur was spat out of the portal and into the cell.

"Hey! What the heck?! I'm back here?!" MacArthur yelled.

"MacArthur is back in jail! MacArthur is back in jail!

We then cut back to Duncan holding a weird looking gun.

"Nice." Duncan smirks.

Well then. One more game and then we move on to the team rounds. The Escape Race is now in full swing, with a lot of running and hurting. And Duncan has something up his sleeve. What will happen next? Wait then for the next chapter.
