Hello once again! New chapter here, time for another chapter! One more chapter before we could get to more serious matters of the story. What will happen in this chapter? Find out in Total Drama: Running Time!
Aztec 13: Things will start to get more serious.
We see a large group in the hotel's party room. They had just finished watching the broadcast and most were already leaving. We see Sanders meeting with Cody and Sierra.
"So, have you spotted something off?" Cody asked if Sanders has found something.
"Well, other than the information about the Running Men's Spirits, nothing." Sanders points out that she doesn't have much information. "How about the missing?" Sanders asked about the missing contestants.
"I don't know. I've checked with their Facebook, Instagram, their relatives, their doctors, the Toronto police force, even that burglar that once stole Gwen's TV." Sierra was explaining that she was doing whatever she could to find them.
"Wait, so you have contact with a burglar that stole Gwen's TV?" Cody was confused.
"Well, he also stole the deli meat guy's lucky cat statue, an intern's jorts, and Chef's wallet." Sierra was listing the things the burglar stole.
"Oh man! I just cancelled my credit cards! Where is he?" Chef asked in hearing they know where his wallet is.
"Check the next door police department." Sierra said.
"Okay then." Chef said.
Chef then ran out of the room.
"That burglar is in for one hell of a beat down." Cody states that the burglar will get seriously injured.
"Well technically, that's vigilantism and therefore he would be arrested if he did." Sanders states. "But maybe he knows that and is gonna do a verbal assault."
"He was a soldier, and almost always knows what he's doing, so a verbal beatdown would be his choice." Sierra states.
"Yeah, I guess so." Sanders said.
"Wait, why is Tree City broadcasting? Who else is receiving transmission?" Cody pointed out something interesting.
"I don't know, that's something the Peacekeepers are working on." Sanders states that the Peacekeepers are working on the case.
"Probably some powerful figure." Sierra said.
"Anyways, I'm heading to Scarlett's." Sanders states. "Here's the phone." Sanders gave Cody the phone.
Sanders then walked out of the room.
We then see the Running Men walking into their dorms.
"Well, that game made us run a lot." Owen said while panting.
"This game is called Running Man." Heather points out the obvious. "You should have expected some."
"Of course I was expecting it. I didn't know how much running." Owen said.
"Yeah, give him a break, Heather." Carrie tried to stop the argument.
"Fine, just because I want to save my energy for the next match." Heather said.
"Speaking of the next match, what's your new Spirit, Mike?" Shawn brought up the discussion of Spirits.
"Well, I got something very interesting." Mike states that they'd want to know about it. "It's something called the Spirit of Cloning."
Mike takes out his new Spirit and inserts it into his watch.
-Spirit of Cloning-
Mike then stood still and took a deep breath. Suddenly, after puffs of smoke appeared, the other Running Men saw that there were 3 clones standing next to him.
"Whoa ho ho!" Owen exclaimed in excitement.
"I agree with the big guy. That's pretty neat." Duncan said in amusement.
"Wait, these clones don't have watches and shields." Heather points out after examining the clones.
"Yeah, that's a thing I didn't realize." Mike said that he didn't note it.
"Ooh! How many clones can you make!" Kitty was eager to ask some questions.
"Um, so far, I think only 3." Mike answered the question.
"How does it feel?" Carrie asked.
"Well, I don't think I can control them." Mike states.
"But it doesn't matter, because we each have a separate consciousness." One of the clones said.
"Well, that's… nice. I don't know if that's a good thing." Heather states.
"Yeah, what happens to the other consciousness?" MacArthur asked.
"I have no idea." Shawn states that he doesn't know about it.
"Well, let's not worry about it much." Duncan states.
"Okay then." Mike said.
Then the clouds disappear into puffs of smoke.
"So, who wants something celebratory for reaching the team matches." Duncan smiles to ask.
"Oh yeah!" Owen exclaimed in thinking of food.
"You guys go on ahead. I'll just go to my room." Kitty states that they can continue on. "Tell the robot that I'd want some Chinese Fried Rice."
"Okay." Carrie said.
Kitty smiles at the group before going through the door. As she walks to her room, she feels her bracelet vibrating.
"Hmm, must be a notification." Kitty said to herself.
Kitty walks into her room. She takes out her bracelet as it forms into a disk. She then throws it on his floor.
It creates a hologram screen revealing Kitty's drone in front of a massive gate.
"Hmm, another gate?" Kitty thought a bit. "Isn't there some sort of ventilation?"
The drone then looks around the room. No ventilation in sight. But there was a camera drone there, but something was off.
"Wait a minute, is that a camera drone?" Kitty recognises the drone. "Is that the one I ran into yesterday? It still has my face mark."
We then see Scarlett's group in the laboratory. They were watching a monitor in which they're seeing the decoy drone meeting with Kitty's recon drone.
"What is that?" Scott was confused.
"It looks like a mosquito. But it's acting weird." Noah was studying it. "It's not flying away. It's like it's drawn to us."
"Hmm, hey Scarlett, were there any mosquitos when you were competing?" Sky asked.
"No, it's impossible. But even if mosquitos live there, as Noah said, this one's behavior is peculiar." Scarlett knows that something was off.
"Ooh! Maybe that's a Peacekeeper drone and Kitty is trying to do the same investigation as we are!" Izzy comes to a quick conclusion.
"Um, yeah, that's actually a good theory." Scarlett said.
Suddenly, the door in the laboratory opened, revealing Sanders with a duffel bag.
"Hey guys, decided to come to help with the…" Sanders was in the middle of a greeting when she sees what was going on in the moniter. "Is that a Peacekeeper recon drone?"
"Wait, you recognise this?" Noah asked.
"Yeah, I am a Peacekeeper agent." Sanders states.
"Well then, crazy girl's theory is true. What are we supposed to do now?" Eva asked where to go from there.
"Okay then, I'll try something." Sanders said while putting down her duffel bag.
The group moved away as Sanders walked to the controls. She then started some stretches and then got to work.
Back in Kitty's room, we see Kitty observing the decoy drone.
"Hmm, it's looking right at the drone. Something is not right." Kitty was studying the behavior.
Suddenly, she sees the decoy drone moving around in a strange fashion. After a while, she realized what it was doing.
"Wait, that's the Peacekeeper Drone Communication Procedure." Kitty smiles in knowing it. "It says 'Protohack'?" Kitty was reading what it was saying. "Okay then."
Kitty controlled the recon drone to land on top of the decoy drone. The recon drone glowed blue as sparks were coming out of the decoy drone.
Back at the laboratory, the group was watching the Protohack take place. Then, a camera feed of Kitty appeared.
"Oh my gosh, what a surprise, I wasn't expecting the Protohack to lead me to you guys!" Kitty said.
"Hey! Kitty." Noah smiled.
"Hey Noah! Hey guys!" Kitty greeted them.
"So, are the others okay?" Izzy asked.
"Yep, we just finished a game together." Kitty explained what happened
"We saw." Zoey states.
"So, are you ready to tell the others?" Sanders asked.
"Yep, I believe it's time. Let me get them quickly." Kitty said as she walked out the room, leaving the transmission on.
We then see the rest of the Running Men in the lounge. They were eating their celebratory dinner.
"Well then, since we might get more Spirits in the future, then the finals will be more chaotic than the Season 4 finale." Mike was explaining what they might expect during the final matches.
"Yeah, and I am a master at using chaotic situations to my advantage." MacArthur was bragging about how she might win.
"Like that time when your alliance broke up in the 2nd match. That looked very chaotic, yet no using the chaos to your advantage." Heather was taunting her.
"Well you weren't seeing it right!" MacArthur got defensive by that comment.
"Stop it. It's all in the past." Duncan said while lying on the couch and throwing an apple repeatedly in the air. "Just focus on how you're gonna win in the future."
MacArthur then grabbed the apple from the air and threw it at his face.
"Ow! Why did you do that?! I was just stating the obvious!" Duncan yelled in annoyance.
"Yeah, your just gonna waste your energy. Not you Heather, since you have a Spirit." Shawn tries to ease out the tension.
Then, Kitty entered the lounge.
"Kitty, what are you doing?" Carrie asked.
"Yeah, I thought you were going to sleep." Duncan said.
"I have something to tell you guys." Kitty announced.
"What is it?" MacArthur asked.
"I have been keeping a secret from you guys for the last few days." Kitty began explaining the details. "I happen to be a secret agent working for an organisation called the Peacekeepers."
"Wait, what?" Carrie was confused.
"Excuse me, did I hear secret agent?" Duncan asked if he heard it right.
"Yeah, I am, which explains my bracelet, katana and that thing I did to Heather back in the first round." Kitty explains.
"Wait, your bracelet? We only questioned the katana and that weird thing you did to me." Heather was still confused.
"Yeah, I kinda went through your memories to find hidden marbles." Kitty explains what she was doing.
"You were in my memories?!" Heather was extremely confused. "Did you see anything private?"
"Well, other than the fact that you dance the Macarena in the shower, nothing." Kitty said.
Everyone in the room snickered.
"Ugh, I kept that secret for 2 years." Heather sighed in seeing one of her secrets revealed.
"Come on, many people dance to the Macarena." Kitty said.
"Well then, what else do you have for us?" Duncan said after giggling some more.
"Follow me into my room." Kitty said as she walked out of the room.
They follow Kitty out of the lounge.
We then see the laboratory group waiting for the Running Men to meet them.
"Okay, so Zoey, later, I'll give you Scott's Spirit of Fire to compliment your bow." Scarlett offers a Spirit to Zoey.
"Wait, it's Scott's Spirit. Shouldn't he use it?" Zoey was confused.
"Nah. You can have it. I'd rather not use a Spirit. Brings too many bad memories." Scott insists on using the Spirit.
"Okay then. But why me exactly?" Zoey asked.
"Well because a standard bow would be useless in a fight against titanium plated robots. So you can use the Spirit to create explosive charges on your arrows or just chuck some fireballs if you want to." Scarlett explains the probable uses of the Spirit.
"Well, okay then." Zoey smiled in accepting.
"Scarlett?!" Lots of voices were heard from the monitor.
The group turns to the screen to see the Running Men in the room.
"What the heck is Scarlett doing there?!" Shawn yelled.
"Sanders! Why are you with my number one on my capture list." MacArthur squinted her eyes.
"Why the heck would you want to work with Scarlett?!" Duncan yelled.
"Because you might know is that Scott and I competed last year." Scarlett calmly explained.
"Why exactly are you helping us?!" Shawn asked.
"We all have the same goals. Find out what's wrong with this game and find the other contestants." Scarlett calmly states.
"Wait, others?" Carrie was confused.
"Yeah, it appears other than you guys, 8 other contestants have disappeared." Scarlett explains the situation.
"Who?" Heather asked.
"Well, Jasmine, Cameron, Brody, Gwen, Courtney, Devin, Alejandro and… Emma." Noah said hesitantly.
"Jasmine?!" Shawn yelled.
"Cam!" Mike yelled.
"Devin!" Carrie yelled.
Everyone else just felt sad in knowing their friends disappeared.
"So, what are you doing about it?" Kitty asked.
"Sierra and her stalker squad went all over the internet and their local areas to find them. No luck." Sanders frowned.
"Well, if Sierra can't find them, what else can we do?!" Duncan asked.
"I'm not sure. But I think the answers are in Tree City." Noah said.
"So, I'll just leave you guys here to talk more." Kitty said. "I'll just go get my fried rice."
"Oh! And Kitty. Try and do some more investigations." Sanders adds. "And also find a way to bring us into it."
"Okay!" Kitty said.
Kitty then walks out of the room
