Hi again, it's me again! It's time for the 25th chapter! Last time, we saw what actually happened to the missing. They have been converted into the DV8! Why did the Game Master do this? Well that's a question for another time. Because it's now time for Total Drama: Running Time!

Aztec 13: Another beautiful comment. And Gwen's DV8 hair was kind of a last minute addition.

I forgot to mention the assigned codes for the DV8.

DV8: Brody

DV7: Courtney

DV6: Cameron

DV5: Gwen

DV4: Devin

DV3: Jasmine

DV2: Alejandro

DV1: Emma

Well then, off to the chapter!

We see Kitty slowly waking up on the couch.

"Ugh…" Kitty was groaning in pain she felt on her face and chest. "Wha…?"

Kitty sees herself in the lounge where the rest of the Running Men were. Mike, Carrie and Shawn were sitting silently in sadness, MacArthur and Owen were lying down on the couches, and Duncan and Heather were sitting next to her.

"Finally, you're awake." Duncan smiled.

"Yeah, you took quite the fall." Heather states.

"Wait… what? You mean that whole thing actually happened?" Kitty asks if what played out really happened.

"Yeah, unfortunately. After you got knocked out, the DV8 won the match. And we all found out what was behind those masks." Heather explains what happened.

"Oh no… noooo…" Kitty was feeling awful about the situation. "You mean… Emma… and the others, you saw them?" She asks.

"Yup. It's much of a bummer." MacArthur confirmed.

"Yeah. So that's what happened to them these past few days." Owen says.

"I can't believe they're in Tree City of all places. And they seem to be under the Game Master's control." Mike states that they might be mind controlled.

"This feels a lot less scary than watching your friends turn into zombies. Not as scary, but just as unsettling." Shawn states.

Kitty then eyes Carrie. She was curled up silently, still as a rock.

"Carrie? Are you going to have a say in this?" Kitty asked, slightly worried for her friend.

Carrie just stands up and walks out the dorms. The rest just stare solemnly.

"Just give her some time to process this. This is all just happening too fast for her." Duncan suggests giving her some space.

"Yeah, I agree." Kitty agrees solemnly

"I just have one question. Why?!" MacArthur was angry.

"Yeah. Why would they mind control the people we know to compete against us?" Mike asked.

"I have no idea. Let's ask Scarlett." Duncan suggests asking Scarlett.

"Okay then." Kitty said.

We see the laboratory group sitting around the lab solemnly.

"I can't believe this." Noah said.

"You said that 10 times in under 5 minutes." Scarlett snarked.

"Just give him a break." Sky says. "He's going through something, just like the rest of us."

"Yeah." Zoey said solemnly.

"But what would the Game Master want with them?" Sanders asked why they would need thm.

"I have been working for a couple theories on that." Scarlett states that she has a couple reasons.

"Yeah? What?" Eva asked.

"Most of it is for experimentation reasons." Scarlett states. "Or, they could use them to distract us from something even bigger."

"The second one seems the most possible." Scott states that it may seem probable.

"Well, if they're trying to distract us from something, they sure know how to do it well." Noah states solemnly.

"But, what are they even trying to distract us from?" Sky asked.

"Ooh! Maybe we can find more information from the files!" Izzy suggests.

"The files are still decrypting. It won't be until another couple hours to get answers." Scarlett states.

Suddenly, a monitor makes a notification sound.

"I guess that's another set of files done." Eva said.

The group walks to the monitor and checks out the files. Unlike last time, the information was good.

"Hmm, it says here that it has a method to create the Spirits." Scarlett finds the information intriguing.

"Maybe we can use this to our advantage." Izzy states.

"That's actually a good crazy idea you have." Scarlett states.

"But what goes into the process?" Noah asks to know the process of making Spirits.

"It says here, we need a very specific set of items, including some kind of metal frame and a red crystal fully drained of its energy?" Zoey was surprised by this info.

"But how do they even drain energy?" Eva asked.

"The Game Master!" Sanders yelled out which caught the attention of others.

"Of course!" Zoey agrees.

"But, if the Game Master absorbs the energy, then they must be very dangerous." Scott states.

"This situation could be worse than we thought." Scarlett states.

"I'm going to talk to Mission Control about it." Sanders states.

Sanders' takes her bracelet and forms it into a disk. She then throws it onto the ground.

A hologram of the hooded figure appears.

"Whoa! Don't reveal my lab's location to the Peacekeepers!" Scarlett yells out.

"I've already known about it for some time. Remember that if you help us with this, you'll be pardoned for all your charges." The hooded figure said.

"Mission Control. It seems we have really stumbled onto something here." Sanders states.

"Oh?" The hooded figure is interested.

"We have a Class 7 conspiracy in the middle of uncovering." Sanders states.

"So the games are more dangerous than we thought." The hooded figure remarks.

"Yes, and there is also a Code Black." Sanders adds.

"One of the Peacekeepers has been mind controlled. Emma, isn't it?" The hooded figure said.

"Yes, and some of the others controlled by the Game Master under the code name of DV8." Sanders explains what had happened.

"Hmm, this is bad. Unfortunately, most of our other operatives are busy. The only way I can help you is by suggesting some strategies." The hooded figure said.

"Okay then." Sanders says.

We then see the hotel group in the party room for a meeting. Cody and Sierra decided to host a meeting to discuss the events that have unfolded.

"So, you have seen the broadcast. Questions have been answered. The missing have been mind controlled into the DV8." Sierra announced solemnly.

"We don't care!" Josee yelled.

"Yeah! Can we just get on with it!" Jacques yelled.

Then the Ice Dancers fell unconscious. Behind them were the Geniuses.

"Well, that much clothing can't do much if they don't protect the vagus nerve from three ounces of pressure." Ellody remarked.

The group stared blankly at the Geniuses.

"What? I'm pretty sure this is just a factor you wanted to eliminate." Mary states.

"Anyway. I'm pretty sure some of you guys are pretty distraught by this." Cody states.

"Yeah, I know." Geoff said solemnly.

"But what are we supposed to do about this?" Bridgette asks what is going to be the next step.

"We don't have much to do with our ability. Our only choices are to hope they get them back to their senses..." Cody states.

"Oh yeah, that reminds me…" Staci begins talking, but then…

Ellody swatted her neck, hitting the vagus nerve, causing her to fall unconscious.

"Okay, that one was actually necessary to do." Jo states.

"Hey, where's Chris?" DJ asks.

They turn to see Chris and Chef writing on notepads. Don was raising an eyebrow with what they're doing.

"Okay, should we copy the designs of the masks?" Chris asks.

"You tell me, you're the ratings master." Chef said.

"Oh man, mind control will so bump up the ratings!" Chris exclaimed.

"Should I?" Ellody asks, referring to knocking them unconscious.

"Nope! It's my turn." Leshawna states with determination.

Leshawna walks up to them and strikes their vagus nerve, knocking them out.

"Aaaah! Not me!" Don yelled out in fear.

"Oh calm down, I'm not gonna hit you. Besides, compared to those two, you're pretty chill." Leshawna states.

"The other choices is to have volunteers to help them." Sierra continues.

"Is it okay to say that we don't want to volunteer?" Mickey states.

"Yeah, this seems very dangerous." Jay adds.

"Okay then, I'll go." Leshawna stepped up.

"Well if you're going, then I'm going too." Harold joins her.

"Us too." Geoff said.

"Yeah." Bridgette added.

"So, anyone else?" Cody asks for more volunteers. "No? Okay then."

"Scarlett gave us coordinates to her base. Sanders also mentioned that we'll be under protection by Peacekeeper agents if any local law enforcement spots us." Sierra adds.

"Sounds good." Leshawna states.

"Okay then. Meeting's done." Cody ends the meeting.

We see Carrie sitting silently on the walkway around the dorms. She was still miserable from the events.

"Oh Devin. I wish I knew what happened. How they put you under their control." Carrie said to herself solemnly.

Suddenly, an idea sparked in her head.

"I don't think I can't find out what happened, but I think I can find a way to bring you and the others back." Carrie said, slightly determined.

Carrie takes out her Spirit and inserts it into her watch.

-Spirit of Clairvoyance-

Carrie toggled some settings on her holographic monacle and began scanning Tree City.

We then see Kitty on a holographic call with Sanders in the lounge. The others sit along with the discussion.

"So the Spirits are made of drained crystals?" Kitty was listening to what she was saying.

"Yup, the Zeta Files confirmed it." Sanders confirms.

"And the Game Master is able to absorb energy? You didn't tell us about that." Kitty states.

"Yeah, we kinda forgot about it." Sanders scratched her head.

"But what are we going to do? Most of the other Peacekeeper operatives are busy." Kitty asks what to do from there.

"Mission Control suggests you guys free the DV8 from control. We have to prepare if the Game Master's plans reach another stage." Sanders explains what each group must do.

"And that is?" Kitty asks what they're gonna do.

"Gonna try and call some backup. Scarlett still has her old Running Man companions on dial." Sanders states. "And also try to create some Spirits of our own."

"You still need the materials to make them." Kitty states.

"And knowing powerful items, they'd take a long time to make." Duncan states.

"Yeah, so we need to find the materials." Sanders states.

Scarlett then appears in the hologram.

"We can either try to reverse engineer the machine that makes Spirits and rebuild it, or we can just steal it altogether." Scarlett states.

"But the metal frames and drained crystals will be a problem." Sanders adds.

"I get the crystals part, but what about the metal frames?" Kitty was confused.

"It is made out a very specific alloy. I don't think we can get the proportions of the metal right on time." Scarlett states.

"I guess you better get moving." Kitty says.

"You don't need to." Carrie's voice was heard in a stern tone.

They turn to see Carrie walking into the lounge.

"Carrie!" Kitty smiled to see her friend.

"What do you mean?" Heather asked.

"I decided to use my Spirit to scan the lower regions of Tree City to find some answers. Large parts of it are lead lined, so I can't see into them, but I saw a large warehouse like wing." Carrie explains what she had found in a stern tone. "There were many warehouse wings, but this one contained the materials to create Spirits. And there was also a machine nearby that creates them."

"Oh? What else did you see?" Scarlett asked.

"I also saw a facility that controls the DV8." Carrie said. "Both facilities are heavily guarded.

"Hmm, that is good. I think we should hit the warehouse first." Scarlett states.

"What?! No! We should hit the control facility." Kitty disagrees with the idea.

"No, we can't go into the control facility. Not just yet. We might mess up the program and make the control permanent." Carrie said.

"Well then, how are we going to release them?" Duncan asked.

"We play the next game. Make sure we can get the DV8 weakened, so I can scan them." Carrie suggests, still in a stern tone.

"Hmm, that make sense. Good idea Carrie." Sanders agrees.

"Bye now." Scarlett waves goodbye.

The hologram turns off. Kitty then turns to Carrie.

"Welcome back." Kitty smiles that Carrie is back on her feet.

"Thanks Kitty." Carrie smiles.

The two embrace in a friendly hug so that Carrie can fully calm down.

"This feels a little awkward." Heather whispers to Duncan.

Duncan elbows Heather in hearing this remark.

The two pull out of the hug.

"I needed that." Carrie said.

"Now, ready for the next match?" Kitty asks the rest with determination.

Okay then, I had a lot of Writer's Block writing this chapter, but now this chapter is released. The next chapter will be the second final match of the Running Man Championships! What will happen next? Find out next time.

Well, I'm off to Brazil!
