Hello again readers, it's ya boi, me. Last time, we saw how the groups handle knowing that the missing have been converted into the DV8. And now the plan is in action. What will the Running Men do? And what is the game? Find out now on Total Drama: Running Time.

Aztec 13: Nice suggestion. I decided to do something kind of like that but with a few differences.

We see the two teams, the Running Men and the DV8, on platforms on opposite sides of the stadium. The spectators cheer wildly as they anticipate the game.

Kitty stares at the DV8, specifically Emma. She stares down the red eyes of her sister, trying to think of a way to bring her back.

"You okay?" MacArthur asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Kitty states. "Heather, have you thought of a plan?" She asks her teammate if she has thought of a plan.

"Yup. I studied their weapons and weaknesses, so it can play out in our favor." Heather confirms that she has a plan. "Now we need to know the game itself."

A robot appears in the middle of the stadium.

"It's time for another round of the Running Man Championship! As we get closer and closer to the final round, the games will get more and more unpredictable!" The robot announces.

The stadium lights up to manifest into the Super Arena.

Holographic screens appear in front of the Running Men.

"The game is called Gaining Grounds!" The robot announces the name of the game.

"The goal of the game, the team with the most Zones within 30 minutes wins the game. For a team member to take over a zone, first you must steal an opponent's shield. Once the shield ring is in your possession, you will need to insert the ring into the Zone's R Point." The female voice announces.

"One more thing, if you enter a zone that already belongs to the enemy team, you will be under penalty." The robot adds this small but important info.

"Well, I guess we better quickly take over the zones before they do." Heather was quickly thinking of plans.

"It's Running Time!" The robot announced.

The Running Men gather on the middle structure of the arena as the DV8 spreads about.

"Okay, 30 minutes, starting now." Kitty says.

"So, what is the plan?" Mike asks.

"I suggest we split up. Carrie, you see which of the DV8 occupies which Zone." Heather instructs.

"On it." Carrie states.

Carrie takes out her Spirit and inserts it into her watch.

-Spirit of Clairvoyance-

Carrie manifests her holographic monocle and begins scanning the arena. After a good while, she finishes.

"Okay, so Brody is occupying Zone 1, Courtney takes Zone 2, Cameron has Zone 3, Gwen occupies Zone 4, Devin has Zone 5, Jasmine takes Zone 6, Alejandro occupies Zone 7, and Emma takes control of Zone 8." Carrie gives a status.

"Hmm, okay, we should split up, take a DV8 so it will be even." Heather states. "Mike takes on Brody."

"Okay then." Mike agrees.

"Kitty takes on Courtney, Carrie takes on Cameron, I take on Gwen…" Heather was listing who fights who.

"Oh, getting ready to bury the hatchet I see." Duncan remarks on Heather's choice.

"Oh shut it. MacArthur has Devin, Owen takes Jasmine, Duncan takes on Alejandro, and Shawn takes Emma." Heather finishes listing.

"Sounds good." Duncan smiles at the thought of fighting Alejandro.

"Okay, let's do this!" Kitty yells enthusiastically.

The Running Men split up to take each of the DV8 out.

We see Cody, Sierra, Geoff, Bridgette, Leshawna and Harold walking into Scarlett's laboratory. They see Scarlett working on a machine as the others are either helping or watching.

"Whoa! What did we miss?" Cody seems impressed.

"Not much, we just found a way to make the Spirits. Now we need to make some before some sort of conspiracy takes full swing." Scarlett states.

"So… we did miss much?" Geoff asked.

"Ever heard of sarcasm?" Scarlett snarked.

"Anyway, what conspiracy?" Leshawna wants to get to the point.

"We still don't know. That's what we're trying to figure out. But our main objective is to bring the DV8 out of the Game Master's control." Sanders states that they still have an objective.

"So, how can we help?" Geoff asks, eager to help.

"We wait for more information on the DV8. The Running Men are already in a match." Scarlett states.

"We wait for that information, and act on it." Sanders adds.

We see Kitty walking around Zone 2, looking for Courtney. She was holding out her katana.

"Okay Courtney. I may not know who you are personally, but I think it would benefit the both of us if you come out and fight me!" Kitty yelled out to get Courtney in the open.

Courtney was seen flying at Kitty, attempting to claw at her. Kitty uses her katana to block this with ease.

"So, you must be Courtney. I've gotta say, you're a lot more unhinged than your time in the show." Kitty stated that Courtney seems a lot more violent.

"I could say the same about you." Courtney states.

Kitty then takes out her arm cannon and fires shots at Courtney. Courtney dodges with relative ease. Courtney then fires nail shots at Kitty.

"Whoa!" Kitty exclaimed.

Kitty inserts her Spirit into her watch.

-Spirit of the Bubble-

Kitty manifests a shield bubble to block the claw shots. But one managed to get through and cut Kitty's cheek.

"Ahhgh!" Kitty yelped from the pain.

The claw shot then tries to return to Courtney, but is stopped by the shield bubble.

"Ngh, what the?" Kitty was confused.

Kitty decided to grab the claw shot and disable the shield. This causes her to go flying as the claw shot pulls her towards Courtney. The two crash into each other, which unhinges Courtney's metal mask.

"Oogh! I really should stop doing stuff like that!" Kitty exclaimed from the pain..

Kitty stands up, takes out her katana, and turns to Courtney.

"What the?" Kitty exclaimed with confusion and concern.

Courtney's mask was slightly loose and was leaking a red gas. This led her to clutch her head in pain.

"Nngrrhh… grrrhaa… ngraAAAAAGH!" Courtney was yelling in pain.

"Um… Courtney? Are you there?" Kitty asked with genuine concern.

We see Mike and his clones facing off against Brody in Zone 1. Brody was firing multiple shots with his rifle at the clones as they closed in.

"Time for the hat trick!" Mike yelled out.

One of the clones threw their baton at Brody. He blocks this, which Mike sees as an opportunity.

The real Mike jumps up for a swing. Brody notices and swings his rifle at Mike. This causes him to crash on the ground.

"Ugh, this hurts." Mike groans.

Brody walks up to Mike and steals his shield. The massive hand appears and pulls him into the portal.

"Mike out! Mike out!" The robot announces.

Brody picks up Mike's shield ring and inserts it into Zone 1's R Point. The entire Zone then glows red, signifying that it now belongs to the DV8.

"Zone 1 goes to the DV8." The female voice announces.

We see Carrie in Zone 3. She still isn't in a fight yet.

"Hmm, well, we can't go into Zone 1 at all." Carrie states in hearing this.

We see Heather facing off against Gwen in Zone 4.

"Ah crap! Now they're already one point ahead of us!" Heather exclaimed.

Gwen then throws a karambit at Heather, in which she dodges.

"Ugh! Mind controlled or not, you're still annoying!" Heather exclaimed.

We see Duncan facing off against Alejandro in Zone 7. Duncan was in a fighting stance and Alejandro stood in a fencer formation.

"Okay, come at me bub!" Duncan yelled.

Duncan then takes out a Spirit and inserts it into his watch.

-Spirit of the Hand-

Duncan began shooting out energy fists at Alejandro. Alejandro manages to dodge some of them, but gets hit in the stomach afterwards.

"Booyah!" Duncan yelled.

Duncan then shoots out a big energy hand towards Alejandro. But Alejandro quickly recovers from the shot and stabs the hand, causing it to destabilize.

"What the?" Duncan exclaimed.

Alejandro then charges in for a stab.

"Ah crap!" Duncan exclaimed.

Duncan wraps his hands in energy as he grabs onto the blade. With the immense energy from Alejandro's charge, Duncan was almost stabbed in the chest as well as skidding with his shoes.

"Whoa! Um… can we actually be killed here?!" Duncan asked in extreme concern.

Duncan then knees Alejandro on the chest, causing him to fall back.

"You want more?" Duncan yelled.

Alejandro gets back into a fighting stance.

"Okay then." Duncan smirks.

We see Shawn swinging from pillar to pillar as Emma gives chase from the ground.

"Ah crap! They're ahead!" Shawn yelled.

Emma jumps up and spikes Shawn into the ground.

We see Kitty observing Courtney as her mask was slightly unfastened, causing her to clutch her head.

"Gghhhh… uuggh.. gnhhhh!" Courtney groaned in pain.

"Courtney? What's going on?" Kitty asks.

Courtney's mask was still slightly releasing a red gas.

"The mask. This is good. But I don't want to release them just yet." Kitty muttered to herself. "I don't want the Game Master to go at us, not just yet."

Kitty refastens the mask onto Courtney. She then goes back into a fighting, knowing what happens next.

We then see Carrie facing off against Cameron. Cameron then throws some bombs at her.

"Okay, okay…" Carrie was using her Clairvoyance Spirit to focus on the bombs' trajectory. "I got this."

She catches four of them and dodges the rest.

"Right back at you!" Carrie yelled.

Carrie then throws the balls back at Cameron, but he kicks them away from him.

"I gotta say, you're very persistent." Cameron taunted.

"Yaaaah!" Carrie charges forth.

Carrie goes for a jab, but Cameron dodges to the right. But Carrie immediately goes for an elbow strike, causing him to fall to the ground.

"You can say that." Carrie smirked a bit.

Carrie then swung a heavy punch with her robot arm into Cameron's face.

"I'm sorry for that though, we just need to win this match." Carrie was slightly concerned.

Then something flew by Carrie. She turns to see Kitty using her wind powers to fly as Courtney holds on to her leg.

"Okay! Get off me!" Kitty tries to shake Courtney of her leg.

"No dice!" Courtney yelled.

"Carrie! Help me!" Kitty called out to her friend.

"Oh shoot! Okay then!" Carrie exclaimed.

Kitty then leads the both of them to Carrie. She jumps and grabs Courtney by the waist.

"Okay… what now?" Carrie asks.

"Just get her off of me!" Kitty yelled.

Carrie uses her robat arms to bash on Courtney's head. This causes the both of them to crash onto the ground.

"Oogh!" Carrie grunted.

Kitty then flies down towards them.

"Are you okay?" Kitty asks.

"Yeah, that was pretty exhilirating." Carrie smiled.

"Still, we have a job to do." Kitty states that they still have to do something. "Their mask is making them inhale some sort of red gas. I'm pretty sure that is what's controlling them."

"That's good. So are we supposed to knock their masks out of their face then?" Carrie asks.

"Not today. We have to buy time to prepare for the conspiracy to take place. Interfering with their plan might put us in jeopardy." Kitty states that by doing so will put the plan in jeopardy.

"Oh, okay then. Whichever is safer I suppose." Carrie states.

Suddenly, Courtney tackles Kitty and slashes at her face.

"Gaaah!" Kitty yelled.

"Kitty!" Carrie yelled out.

Suddenly, smoke bombs were seen flying at Carrie. They cover her area in a smokescreen. Once the smokescreen has drifted, Carrie was seen unconcious.

"Carrie!" Kitty yelled out.

Cameron walks up to Carrie and steals her shield. The massive hand appears and drags Carrie into the portal.

"Carrie out! Carrie out!" The female voice announced.

"Carrie! No!" Kitty yelled out.

Courtney and Cameron walk up to Zone 2's R Point and inserts the shield ring into it. The entire Zone glows red.

"Zone 2 goes to the DV8." The female voice announces.

"Oh no." Kitty muttered.

Well then, the second final match has arrived, and it sure looks interesting. With the DV8 ahead by two points and the game in full swing, all you can do is imagine what happens next.
