I am back at it again with another chapter of this fic you are observing with your eyes and using your mind to piece together the words to imagine a series of events and remember them (Okay, this was dumb but I still did it). Aztec 13: They will beat them, but not release them yet.

We see Kitty standing in Zone 3 as she watches Courtney and Cameron in Zone 2 after claiming it for their team.

"Okay, you two asked for this!" Kitty yelled out angrily.

Kitty then charges into Zone 2.

"Yaaaaaaaaa-" Kitty yelled out when suddenly, she got a weird feeling. "Wha?"

Kitty crashes onto the ground, seemingly being crushed by an unknown force.

"Ugh… my body… so heavy!" Kitty was extremely confused by this. "What's going on?!"

"Hmm. She's very persistent." Cameron states.

"Ugh… this must be the penalty!" Kitty states as she struggles to stand up.

"Seriously? You're struggling with only double gravity?" Courtney taunted. "Pathetic."

"Ugh… what?" Kitty was confused. "This must… be the penalty."

"Also a quick learner." Cameron adds.

We then see Heather facing off against Gwen.

"Okay, I'm not sure if you're reveling in this fight or not, but this is getting annoying!" Heather yells in annoyance.

Gwen jumps up and goes for a slash. This was blocked by Heather as she pushed her into a pillar.

"Now to turn the tides!" Heather yelled.

As Heather keeps Gwen pinned to the pillar, she inserts a Spirit into her watch.

-Spirit of Light-

Heather's eyes glow incredibly brightly, causing Gwen to be temporarily blinded.

"Okay, now to take your shield." Heather was panting a bit.

"Help!" Kitty's voice was heard.

"What the?" Heather perked up when hearing this. "Ah crap, it's too soon for us to lose another player." She knew that they couldn't lose more players.

Heather then turns to Gwen rubbing her eyes in pain.

"I'll get back to you later, I'm needed elsewhere." Heather states.

Heather then runs toward the direction of the yelling.

We see Kitty struggling to stand up as her own weight is used against her as the penalty for crossing into Zone 2.

"Ugh… now I know how… Noah feels." Kitty states.

"Kitty!" Heather's voice was heard.

"What the?!" Kitty perked.

"Hang on! I'm coming!" Heather yelled.

"No! Heather! Don't go into the zone!" Kitty tried to warn her.

"Yaaaaah!" Heather yelled as she crossed over to Zone 2. "What the?!" She exclaims as she feels her gravity being doubled.

Heather drops to the ground, feeling the increased weight on her body.

"I told you not to go inside!" Kitty yelled.

"You were in trouble! What was I supposed to do?!" Heather yelled. "As you have seen, two of our teammates have been eliminated! We can't have our numbers drop!"

"You could have at least called Shawn!" Kitty yelled.

"Seriously, you both can't deal with double gravity?" Courtney taunted some more.

"Ugh, this is getting annoying!" Kitty yelled.

Kitty then takes out her arm cannon and aims it at the two. She fires, but the two dodge it easily.

"We should take their shields already." Cameron states.

"Too late!" Kitty yelled

Kitty takes out her Spirit and inserts it into her watch.

-Spirit of the Wind-

Kitty creates a gust of wind which pushes her and Heather out of Zone 2. They both crash onto a pillar.

"Oogh! That was close!" Kitty exclaimed.

"No time to lose! Let's get out of here! I have a new plan!" Heather states.

"Let's regroup with the others!" Kitty states.

The two run from the scene.

We see Owen dealing with Jasmine in Zone 6.

"Well, I can see why people were intimidated by you now. Hahaha…" Owen chuckled in nervousness.

Jasmine throws her spear at Owen.

"Aah!" Owen yelled.

Owen dodges, which causes the spear to stick to the pillar behind him.

"Whoa! Now I also know how you went so far in your season." Owen said nervously.

Jasmine pulls the spear from the pillar and charges at Owen.

"Aaaggh!" Owen yelped in fear.

Owen takes out his Spirit and inserts it into his watch.

-Spirit of the Bounce-

Owen kicks the spear off Jasmine's hands. He then kicks his rocket boots into full gear as it blasted into Jasmine.

"Whoohoo!" Owen yelled.

Owen bounces onto the pillar back towards Jasmine and lands a powerful punch, sending her flying towards a pillar.

"Whoo!" Owen yelled in excitement. "That was strong! I wonder if that did anything." He hopes that attack did damage.

Jasmine then gets up, weakened. She puts her hand up and her spear flies towards her hand.

"Okay… this would take a while." Owen sighs in seeing Jasmine still rearing.

We see Shawn facing against Emma in Zone 8. Right now, Emma was pinning Shawn with her double blade, while Shawn was trying to stop the blade from nearing him.

"Ugh… okay… this is a… bit of a pickle." Shawn was having trouble focusing.

Shawn sweeps Emma's legs in an effort to throw her off balance. She does fall, but immediately gets back up.

"Okay. Are you sure you're trying to kill me, or was that just for show?" Shawn was really worried that they can actually kill.

Emma just stood silently, staring menacingly at him.

"Okay… you can just stay silent." Shawn states. "You know, I never really took you for the silent type."

Emma charges at him, intent on attack.

"Still not in the mood to talk, eh." Shawn says.

Shawn takes out his Spirit and inserts it into his watch.

-Spirit of Ice-

Shawn places his arms out, encasing Emma in ice.

"Okay then." Shawn states.

We see MacArthur collapsing on the ground, with multiple burn marks. Devin walks towards her and takes her shield. The hand appears and pulls MacArthur into the portal.

"MacArthur out! MacArthur out!" The female voice announced.

"This is too easy." Devin states.

Devin takes the shield ring and walks up to Zone 5's R Point. He then inserts it into the R Point. Zone 5 then glows red.

"Zone 5 goes to the DV8." The female voice announced.

"The score is now 3 to 0!" The robot adds.

We see Heather and Kitty resting behind a pillar.

"Ah great… another one down." Heather exclaimed upon hearing the announcement. "The plan will become harder now."

"So, mind telling me the plan?" Kitty was interested in the plan.

"Well I was thinking we could…" Heather then spots something behind Kitty. "Nevermind! Move!"

Heather shoves Kitty away with her staff as two karambits stick to the pillar next to them.

"Whoa! What is it with these close calls?!" Kitty was confused; there were more close calls than the fingers on her hands.

"I don't know, but look!" Heather readied for battle.

Kitty looks behind and sees Gwen walking towards them. She puts out her hands and her karambits return to him.

"Good call." Kitty says.

Kitty then takes out her katana and readies herself. But suddenly, Courtney flies out of nowhere and throws Kitty towards a pillar.

"Aaaagh!" Kitty yelped as she crashed into the pillar.

"Kitty!" Heather yelled.

Courtney jumps at Heather, aiming for a slash. Heather dodges and kicks Courtney towards Gwen, causing them to crash into each other.

"To be honest, I kinda expected this behavior back when we were in Team Amazon." Heather states. "But it plays out here of all places."

Heather then takes out her Spirit and inserts it into her watch.

-Spirit of Energy-

Heather runs towards Kitty and helps her up.

"Get up, we have some company." Heather prompts.

"Ugh… you don't think I see that?!" Kitty states that she brought up the obvious. "One of them threw me onto the pillar for gosh sake!"

"Can we just focus on the matter at hand?!" Heather yelled.

"What do you think we're trying to do right now?!" Kitty yelled

"Ugh, nevermind!" Heather yelled.

Kitty then releases a strong wind blast towards Gwen and Courtney. They fly a bit, but manage to anchor to the ground with their weapons.

"My turn!" Heather yelled.

Heather jumps up, with her staff in hand. Kitty stops the wind flow, causing her opponents to focus on her. But Heather swings her staff at them, striking them and sending them back.

"Get some!" Kitty yelled.

Gwen and Courtney get up. Gwen then throws both her karambits, and Courtney shoots out some metal nails.

"Crap!" Heather yelled.

"Heather! Get back!" Kitty yelled.

Kitty runs past Heather as she inserts a Spirit into her watch.

-Spirit of the Bubble-

Kitty forms a shield bubble around them, causing the projectiles to bounce off it.

"Drop the shield!" Heather yelled.

"Um… okay?" Kitty was confused.

Kitty drops the shield bubble, allowing Heather to run at their opponents.

"Yaaaagh!" Heather let out a battle cry.

Heather jumps up and kicks the two towards a pillar, stunning them.

"Sweet kick!" Kitty states.

"No time! Let's get out of here!" Heather yelled.

Heather then bolted out of the area.

"Right behind ya!" Kitty yelled.

Kitty then flies after her.

We see Duncan still facing off against Alejandro. Right now, Duncan was holding his enemy's rapier with his hand covered in energy as Alejandro pushed him.

"Yo! I'm trying to get you back!" Duncan states that he's trying to get Alejandro back. "Okay… um, Al?" He tries using the nickname in order to try and bring him back to his senses.

Alejandro then throws Duncan away.

"Whoaaa!" Duncan yelled.

Duncan then crashes into a pillar.

"Oooggh! Yup! I think that triggered something." Duncan yelped.

Alejandro then throws the rapier at Duncan. It cuts into the pillar behind him, almost cutting into his neck.

"Aagh!" Duncan yelped.

Duncan then sees Alejandro running at him. Alejandro then jumps up for a flying kick.

"Okay…" Duncan focused.

Duncan moves forward as Alejandro almost kicks him. He then nudged Alejandro a bit so that the kick landed onto the handle of the rapier, digging it deeper into the pillar.

"Whooo!" Duncan yelled in awe and exhilaration.

Alejandro then begins pulling on the rapier stuck in the pillar, but it wouldn't budge.

"Ha! Luckily you're not pure of heart! Ah…" Duncan taunted. "For anyone watching, that was an Excalibur reference!" He adds.

Duncan then creates a big energy hand that pins Alejandro to the pillar. He then walks up to him.

"You don't need that anymore." Duncan states.

Duncan then steals Alejandro's shield. The energy hand disappears and Alejandro just stands there, looking at Duncan. The massive hand appears and pulls Alejandro in.

"The first of the DV8 has been eliminated! DV2 out!" The female voice announced.

"Nice." Duncan smiles.

Duncan picks up the shield ring and walks to Zone 7's R Point.

"Time for our first point." Duncan states.

"Help!" Owen's voice was heard.

"Owen? Buddy!" Duncan yelled.

Duncan then ran towards where the screaming was, leaving Zone 7 uncaptured.

We then see Owen and Jasmine in Zone 6. Jasmine has Owen's shield ring in her hand as the Running Man member gets pulled into the portal.

"Waaaaugh!" Owen yelled as the portal closes.

"Owen out! Owen out!" The female voice announces.

Jasmine then turns to Zone 6's R Point. But before she could make her way there, many energy fists fly out of nowhere towards her.

"Time for a serving of knuckle sandwhiches!" Duncan yelled.

One of the fists hit Jasmine square in the face, knocking her out.

"Well… that's easier than I expected." Duncan remarked.

Duncan then walks up to Jasmine and steals her shield. The hand appeard and pulls her in.

"DV6 out! DV6 out!" The female voice announced.

Duncan picks up Jasmine's shield ring and inserts it into Zone 6's R Point. Then the entire zone glows blue.

"Zone 6 goes to the Running Men." The female voice announced.

"The score is now 3 to 1!" The robot adds.

"Our first point." Duncan smirked.

Suddenly, Heather and Kitty skid into Zone 6 from Zone 5. They were both panting heavily and were covered in burn marks. Devin was standing from the other side of the Zone border.

"Ugh… yup, that Zone feels way stronger!" Kitty groaned.

"Okay, I think the plan needs some changing. But I think we need a bit more confirmation." Heather states that they need some information.

"So, looks like you have been busy." Duncan smirked in seeing this.

"You too. I guess you took down Alejandro?" Heather states.

"And I think you also took out Jasmine?" Kitty states.

"Yup. But now we need to think about the change in plan." Duncan states that they'd need to think of the plan.

"Yeah, I guess." Kitty agrees.

Well then. This chapter is now done. The Running Men have held their own, though with a bit of stumbling. And we found the information about the penalty; increased gravity. But is there more to this penalty? Will the Running Men be able to win this round? Find out next time!
