TheMoonIsCheese is back once again! This time, this is the final competition chapter of the series! Last time, we see the Running Men doing somewhat better in surviving the game than last time, and Scarlett is ever so closer to releasing the DV8. But now is the time for Total Drama: Running Time!

Aztec 13: The increase in dialogue by the DV8 doesn't really mean anything. But it's good you noticed it.

We see Scarlett on her computer still working on the firewall.

"Hmm, we're getting close." Scarlett states.

The others were sitting around watching the match. Cody and Sierra were at another computer, looking at the files for more answers.

"Um… Scarlet?" Cody calls out.

"Yes? Make it quick." Scarlett states, not wanting to be distracted.

"It says here that the spectators and citizens of Tree City are holograms." Sierra explains.

"Oh? Scarlett and I came to that conclusion ages ago." Scott states.

"Well then? Who cooks the food? I happen to have eaten a kilogram of fried rice yesterday, mind you." Eva states.

"Hmm… it says here they scan food at the molecular level and clone it." Cody states.

"Is that even possible?" Leshawna asks.

"Hey, you've seen the technology this game has to offer. I'm sure you wouldn't have a hard time believing that." Scott states.

We see Kitty staring down Emma as they are on opposite sides of the destroyed bridge on the top floor of the Ultimate Tower.

"Hmm…" Emma plans on what to do.

"I must not stay here any longer." Kitty states. "I promise to set you free."

Kitty then jumps into the portal.

We see the top floor of the War Tower. The Running Men were resting.

"Whoo! That was tough!" Owen yelled.

"Well, at least we're together." Duncan states.

"But Mike separated from us, remember?" Carrie brings out the fact.

"Don't worry." Heather states.

"Why?" Owen asks.

"He's probably where he's supposed to be. Remember the plan?" Heather states that it's part of the plan.

Suddenly, Kitty jumps out a portal next to them.

"So, ready to move to the next stage of the plan?" Kitty asks.

"Yeah, now we go to the bottom floor of this tower." Kitty states.

"Come on then." Shawn states.

Suddenly, Emma manages to go through the portal.

"Ah crap!" Owen yelled.

"What the?!" MacArthur exclaimed.

"How did she get here?! The bridge was destroyed!" Carrie yelled.

Everyone then went into battle mode.

"No, get to the 1st floor!" Kitty ordered. "I'll handle this."

"But do we have to leave you?" Carrie asks.

"No time!" MacArthur yelled to hurry.

Carrie, Owen, Shawn, Heather and MacArthur run from the scene. As Kitty turns to her sister, Duncan cuts her off.

"I'll be the one to handle this." Duncan states.

"What? No! This is my fight!" Kitty yelled.

"No, it isn't. You have to help the others." Duncan states.

"But…" Kitty was hesitant.

"Just go!" Duncan yelled.

"Fine… just meet us back at the first floor." Kitty states.

Kitty runs from the scene. Duncan then turns to Emma.

"Come on, have at it!" Duncan taunted.

Duncan takes out his Spirit and inserts it into his watch.

-Spirit of Strength-

Duncan's gauntlets glow red. He then goes to a fighting stance.

"Try me." Duncan taunted.

"My pleasure." Emma states.

We see Owen, Heather, Shawn, MacArthur and Carrie jumping out of a portal in the Path of Holes.

"There. Another portal." Carrie says while pointing to another portal on the path.

"No, the quickest way is that way." Shawn states while pointing in another direction.

"Okay then." Owen says.

"Come on!" Heather yelled.

Suddenly, a karambit is seen flying at them. Heather knocks it out of trajectory.

"We're not alone." Heather states.

Then metal claws were seen flying at them. Shawn takes out his Spirit and inserts it into his watch.

-Spirit of Ice-

Shawn forms ice platings on his arm and uses them to block the claws.

"Guys, get ready!" Shawn yelled.

They see Gwen, Courtney and Devin walking at them.

"You seem more persistent than the last set." Courtney states.

"Though sadly, that won't help in this situation. Because we know who the King is." Devin states while pointing at MacArthur.

"Ah, crap!" MacArthur yelled in knowing her cover was blown.

"So you admit your King is the loud-mouthed one." Courtney states.

"Well then, let's get this over with." Gwen states.

"Not on my watch!" Shawn yelled.

Shawn forms a big ice wall between them and their opponents. This gave them time to think of their next move.

"What now?" Carrie asks.

"I think we should run." MacArthur states.

"No, there is no way you guys can outrun Courtney." Heather states.

"Let's hold them off." Shawn suggests.

"Yeah, and wait for the others." Carrie states.

Suddenly, the ice wall shatters, with Devin charging in. He begins to fire at them.

"Gosh dangit!" MacArthur yelled.

Shawn forms his ice armor and tackles him, creating an arm lock.

"Guys! I'll deal with this guy." Shawn yelled. "You handle the rest!"

Gwen and Courtney began charging at the group.

"Crap!" Heather yelled.

Owen and Carrie began fighting Gwen and Heather was wrestling Courtney.

"Hold on guys!" MacArthur yelled.

MacArthur takes out her Spirit and inserts it into her watch.

-Spirit of Lightning-

"Now guys!" MacArthur yelled.

Heather inserts a Spirit into her watch.

-Spirit of Energy-

Heather throws Courtney towards MacArthur. MacArthur then releases the lightning blast at Courtney.

"Gaaaagh!" Courtney yelled.

Courtney lands on the ground.

"Nice shot!" Carrie exclaimed.

Suddenly, Gwen jumps up to Carrie for a slash

"I gotcha!" Owen yelled in seeing this.

Owen moves into the way. He uses his rocket boots to fly at Gwen, tackling her.

"Sorry for this, Gwen!" Owen yelled.

The two crash into a wall, causing Gwen to be crushed by the force, weakening her severely.

"Nice! Now for one more." Heather smiles.

We see Shawn getting thrown across the path by Devin.

"Oogh!" Shawn grunted as he hit the floor.

Devin jumps for an axe kick.

"Agh!" Shawn yelled.

Shawn then materializes an ice pillar and encases Devin in it.

"Whoo! Okay, I think that's it." Shawn sighs, thinking it's over.

Alejandro and Jasmine suddenly jump into the scene on the other side.

"Okay, why'd you have to jinx it!" Owen yelled.

Jasmine throws her spear at the ice pillar, shattering it, setting Devin free.

"Seriously?!" Heather exclaimed.

Gwen and Courtney also get back up. The odds are now against the Running Man.

"This is bad!" Owen yelled.

"We're surrounded! And outmatched!" Carrie yelled.

"We need to find a way out of here!" Heather yelled.

As Gwen and Devin were about to attack, they were cut off by gunfire.

"What?!" Devin yelled.

From out of the portal, Kitty emerges while inserting a Spirit into her watch.

-Spirit of the Wind-

Kitty creates a concentrated air blast at Jasmine and Alejandro, knocking them down.

"Hope I'm not too late to the party!" Kitty yelled.

Shawn and Carrie look at each other and nod.

"Kitty! Heather! Protect the King!" Both of them order.

"Come on!" MacArthur yelled.

Kitty, Heather and MacArthur bolt from the scene, leaving Owen, Carrie and Shawn as a distraction.

"Get them!" Courtney yelled in seeing this.

Suddenly, the path to follow them was blocked by an ice wall.

"Not on my watch!" Shawn yelled.

"Why you!" Alejandro yelled.

We then see Duncan collapsing on the ground in a mix of exhaustion and pain. He was defeated by Emma on the top floor of the War Tower.

"Ugh… agh!" Duncan groaned as he contacts the others. "You guys are… on your own now."

"What?! Oh no!" Kitty exclaimed.

"Just stick… to the plan." Duncan states.

Emma walks over to him to steal his shield, but Cameron walks into the room.

"Are you seriously fighting by yourself?" Cameron asks. "We can't have the King walking around by herself, can we?"

Duncan perks up in hearing this. He then contacts the others one more time.

"Kitty… your sister… is the King." Duncan informs them.

"Okay…" Kitty says. "Thank you…"

Emma rolls her eyes at Cameron's statements and steals Duncan's shield. The hand reappears and pulls him into the elimination portal.

"Duncan out! Duncan out!" The female voice announces.

We see Kitty, Heather and MacArthur walking in the Skywalk, they have heard Duncan's information as well as his elimination.

"So your sister is the King?" Heather asks if she heard it right.

"Yeah, I guess." Kitty says.

"That kind of makes sense, considering your sister is probably the strongest from the DV8." MacArthur states.

"So, now we know who is the King, now we need to lure her into our trap." Heather states.

"Let's go." Kitty states.

The three began to hurry to the next area for their plan.

We see the trio running into the center of the 1st floor of the War Tower.

"Okay, I guess this is where we go." Heather states.

"Now what?" MacArthur asks.

"I guess we call the others here. We probably need some more hands if we want this plan to work." Kitty states that they need to recall their teammates.

"Carrie out! Owen out! Shawn out!" The female voice announces.

"Too late." MacArthur remarks.

"Ah crap." Kitty exclaims.

"At least our King is safe." Heather points out.

"Yeah, I guess." Kitty agrees.

"I wouldn't jump the gun if I were you." Brody's voice was heard nearby.

They quickly take out their weapons and stare him down.

"You're a bit under equipped for us." MacArthur states.

"Am I?" Brody asks.

Suddenly, his rifle glows red, and he fires with the fire rate of a gatling gun.

"What the?!" MacArthur yelped in surprise.

Kitty takes out her Spirit and inserts it into her watch.

-Spirit of the Bubble-

Kitty forms a shield bubble around them to block the bullets, though it was taking a substantial amount of damage.

"Ngghhh!" Kitty grunted from the force.

Brody's rifle stops glowing red, and his fire rate slows significantly.

"You should be thankful this supercharge only lasts for 12 seconds." Brody states.

"Ha! Now you're under equipped!" MacArthur yelled.

Suddenly, Devin and Cameron appear next to him.

"What is it with the jinxing?!" Heather yelled, frustrated.

"Yeah, come on!" Kitty also was frustrated.

Then one by one, the DV8 appeared in the room. Eventually, the three were surrounded.

"Okay, what now?" MacArthur asks.

"Cover your eyes." Heather whispers.

Heather takes out her Spirit and inserts it in her watch.

-Spirit of Light-

Kitty and MacArthur cover their eyes as Heather finger guns upwards, creating a flashbang, blinding the DV8.

"Ugh… my eyes!" Cameron yelled.

"Crikey!" Jasmine yelled.

As the DV8 try to recover, they use their other senses to detect their enemies.

"Spread out!" Kitty yelled.

The team spread out to distract, disorient and discombobulate the DV8.

"Hey! Over here!" Kitty yelled.

"Catch me if you can!" MacArthur yelled.

"Here I am!" Heather yelled.

As the DV8 goes into complete disarray, Emma slowly gets her vision back and sees MacArthur running towards a portal.

"Hmm…" Emma seemingly grinned behind her mask.

"Come on, gotta make it!" MacArthur yelled.

Emma quickly gets in MacArthur's way and lifts her up by the neck.

"Agh! Agh!" MacArthur choked a bit.

Emma then steals MacArthur's shield, but unfortunately for her, there was no King emblem behind it.

"What the? There's no King mark." Courtney was confused.

"Ha! I never really said I was the King. You just assumed that I was." MacArthur gloats about this predicament.

The hand returns and pulls MacArthur in. Before the portal closes, she sticks her tongue out, taunting the DV8 one last time.

"Hmm…" Emma tries to figure out what to do next.

"Now!" Kitty yelled.

Kitty and Heather immediately rush to Emma and grab her so she won't escape. She had her back facing the portal, which was what they needed.

"Hehehe…" Heather chuckled

The DV8 gasped, seeing they had fallen into a trap.

-20 Minutes Ago-

The Running Men were listening to Scarlett explaining her plan.

"So, I think the King should be MacArthur." Scarlett says.

"What? Why me?" MacArthur asked.

"You didn't let me finish. You'll be a fake King." Scarlett continues.

"Well, that's reasonable. Why though?" MacArthur asks.

"You'll make the DV8 think that you are the King. And the real King will stay in hiding." Scarlett explains. "And once we lure the DV8's King into a position of your choosing and the real King will launch a surprise attack and steal their shield."

"This is a good plan!" Owen liked the sound of it.

"And the King will be… Mike!" Scarlett adds.

-The Present-

Mike emerges from the portal, ready to take Emma's shield.

"Haaaaa!" Mike yelled.

Mike steals Emma's shield and lands on the floor. The King mark was now visible on it.

"The King mark!" Kitty yelled.

"We did it!" Heather yelled.

"DV1 has been eliminated! The Running Men win the second set!" The robot announced.

And that is it folks! The second set has finished, and the Running Men claim victory! This is the final competition chapter and things will take a huge turn at this point. Wait til next time, my friends.
