Armonie's POV

The crowd in the Quidditch Stadium were eager for the first game of the year to begin. Of course I joined Hagrid and the other Gryffindors. It was also cold which was what you expected in November.

I wonder how Harry will do my phoenix half wondered.

We shall see I replied just as the Gryffindor team flew out and the entire stadium minus the Slytherins roared in approval.

I saw Harry on his broomstick fly over to where the rest of his team were waiting. The Slytherin team were on the opposite side also waiting for the game to start.

You know Severus looks nice today my phoenix half joked.

I threatened to lock my other half up if she didn't stop distracting me. But I did agree with her because Severus did look handsome thankfully Madame Hooch came onto the field and she looked up to the two teams.

Harry's POV

"Now I want a nice clean game from all of you!" she shouted.

She then kicked the box containing the balls and the Bludgers shot out of it and the Golden Snitch followed. The golden orb flew over to me first before doing the same to Terrence Higgs who was the Slytherin seeker and then it took off. Madame Hooch grabbed the Quaffle and tossed it into the air and the game began.

Armonie's POV

The beginning of each Qudditch game was always a blur as the six Chasers tried to snag the Quaffle. At the moment Angelina Johnson had the Quaffle in her grasp. She was pursued by two Slytherin Chasers and she even dodged a Bludger before successfully scoring a goal for Gryffindor. Harry had to maneuver his broom so a Bludger didn't hit him.

Marcus Flint who was the Captain for the Slytherin team had the Quaffle. He avoided a Bludger and gave Angelina a good kick to her broom. He then got close enough to the Gryffindor goals and threw the Quaffle towards them but Oliver Wood used his broom to smack it away. The Quaffle again was back in Gryffindor's possession.

The red ball was passed between Chasers before another goal was scored for Gryffindor. However the moment was short lived when Marcus Flint used a Beater's club to smack a Bludger at Oliver Wood and the Gryffindor Keeper fell off of his broom. I rolled my eyes while several boo's ensued. With Oliver out of it Slytherin scored.

Deciding to play even dirtier Marcus Flint and another Chaser caused Angelina to crash and again more booing was heard and Slytherin scored another goal which tied up the game.

Harry's POV

I hated seeing my fellow teammates suffer however a flash of gold caught my attention. Immediately I flew after the Snitch but after avoiding a Bludger my Nimbus Two Thousand began to act up. The broom jerked around as though it were trying to throw me off of it.

Armonie's POV

Something was up with Harry's broomstick.

Some bastard is jinxing it my phoenix huffed.

She was right and I hoped Harry could hang on. Seeing him trying to remain on his broom was painful to watch. I swore when Harry was finally off of his broom but he held onto it with one hand.

Snape's POV

My eyes never left Potter as I mouthed the counter-curse that negated the jinx that was on Potter's broom.

"Fire! Your on fire!" one of my colleagues shouted.

Sure enough the end of my cloak was in flames. Immediately I got to my feet and stomped on the flames so they could be extinguished. I ended up knocking over Quirrell in the process.

Harry's POV

My Nimbus Two Thousand stopped acting crazy and I was able to get back on it and fly off to where the Snitch was being pursued by Higgs. Once I caught up with Higgs I slammed into his side hard and he returned the favor. We repeated the maneuvers before we were side by side with one another.

The Snitch wasn't far ahead and eventually Higgs had to fall back but I kept up with the Snitch. Once I got close enough I stood on my broom making a grab for the golden ball. The next thing I knew I was on the ground and something was in my stomach. Then I coughed and the Golden Snitch came out of my mouth and into my hands.

Armonie's POV

When Madame Hooch announced Gryffindor won I began to cheer along with Hagrid and the other Gryffindors. It was about time my old house won a Qudditch game.

I wonder how Severus feels about losing

I don't know Birdbrain quit obsessing over him! I reprimanded my other half.

I heard her snicker before she went quiet.

After The Game

Harry's POV

"Nonsense!" Hagrid scoffed after I had finishing telling him Snape jinxed my broom. "Why would Snape put a curse on your broom?"

"Who knows why was he trying to get past that three-headed dog on Halloween?"

"Who told you about Fluffy?" Hagrid wondered.

"Fluffy?"

"That thing has a name?"

"Of course he's got a name he's mine I bought him off an Irish feller I met down at a pub last year, then I lent him to Dumbledore to guard the"

"Yes?"

"Shouldn't have said that, no more questions don't ask anymore questions that's top secret that is"

"But Hagrid whatever Fluffy's guarding Snape is trying to steal it"

Hagrid sighed before coming to a stop and we did too.

"Codswallop Professor Snape is a Hogwarts teacher"

"Hogwarts teacher or not I know a spell when I see one, I've read all about them and you got to keep eye contact and Snape wasn't blinking" Hermione countered. I nodded with agreement.

Hagrid sighed before shooting us a serious look.

"Now you listen to me, all three of ya, yer meddling in things that aren't meant to be meddled in it's dangerous, what that dog is guarding is strictly between Professor Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel"

"Nicholas Flamel?"

"I shouldn't have said that, I should not have said that" Hagrid told himself and he walked away in disbelief.

I wondered who Nicholas Flamel was because I swore I had heard that name before.

Later.

Armonie's POV

"Who the bloody hell would set you on fire?" I asked the Potions Master as we sat in my quarters.

"No idea" Severus stated. "My attention was keeping Potter alive"

When he said those words I felt my heart hurt a little. Despite it being ten years since Lily died the fact he still loved her enough to protect her son wounded me. I had met Severus along with Lily during our first year at Hogwarts. As Severus got older the more handsome he grew in my eyes and whenever James bullied him I always defended the black haired human. I would be lying if I said I wasn't in love with Severus.

However I never told him my feelings for him because of his love for Lily and I respected that.

"I think your owl is at the window" Severus announced getting my attention. I looked to the window in question and sure enough my Great Horned Owl was there waiting for me.

"I was wondering when I would see you Artemisia" I told the bird of prey after I opened the window. Artemisia climbed onto my arm and she gave me an affectionate nip on the cheek before I took the letter from her foot. I read the letter and I smiled seeing it was from my parents.

"What does the letter say?" Severus asked.

"My parents are coming to London during the holidays and want to see me" I answered. Normally I left Hogwarts during this time anyway. I had a flat in London I used whenever I left Hogwarts.

"I wonder if your mother has any new stories to talk about" Severus said.

My mother was a vet with both magical animals and muggle ones.

"You can come with me during the break if you want" I told the blacked haired male. "I know you'll probably stay here but the invitation is always there"

"Perhaps" the Potions Master responded. "It might not be a bad idea to get away for awhile"

Lol I'm getting a kick out of writing about Armonie's phoenix half.
