Harry's POV
I was very surprised to see that it wasn't Snape but Quirrell!
"You?"
Quirrell turned around and he didn't seem surprised to see me.
"No it can't be Snape"
"Yes" Quirrell spoke and his tone was very different than the stuttering one I had been used to. "He does the seem type doesn't he? Next to him who would suspect p p poor stuttering Professor Quirrell?"
"But that day during the Quidditch match Snape tried to kill me"
"No dear boy I tried to kill you and if Snape's cloak hadn't caught fire and broken my eye contact I would have succeeded even with Snape muttering his little counter-curse"
So Snape had been trying to save me? I hadn't expected that. Quirrell continued talking. So he had been the one to let the troll in!
I grunted because I felt my scar acting up. Quirrell rambled on for another moment before turning to face the mirror again. I recognized it as the Mirror of Erised. When I last saw it I would see my parents in it. Quirrell was getting annoyed because he couldn't figure out how to get the Sorcerer's Stone out.
"Use the boy" a raspy voice ordered.
Quirrell immediately turned to me and yelled.
"COME HERE POTTER! NOW!"
I walked forward until I was beside Quirrell and in front of the mirror.
"Tell me what do you see?" Quirrell asked.
My reflection in the mirror moved and it smiled. I watched as my mirrored self pulled out a blood red stone from it's pocket. My reflection winked at me before placing the stone back into the pocket. I felt something heavy in my real pocket and I realized the real stone was in it!
Quirrell demanded what I saw in the mirror and I chose to lie. I said I was shaking hands with Dumbledore and that I won the house cup for Gryffindor.
"He lies" the raspy voice spoke again.
"TELL THE TRUTH! WHAT DO YOU SEE?!"
The raspy voice commanded it should be speak with me. Quirrell hesitated but eventually he began to undo his turban while I moved away. When the turban came off looking back at me from the mirror was another face!
It was snake like and I knew this was Voldemort.
"Harry Potter we meet again"
"Voldemort" I simply said.
"Yes" the second face answered. "You see what I've become? See what I must do to survive? Live off another, a mere parasite, unicorn blood can sustain me but it cannot give me a body of my own but there is something that can, something conveniently enough lies in your pocket"
Immediately I turned around to run but Quirrell snapped his fingers and the only exit was blocked by orange flames.
"Don't be a fool why suffer a horrific death when you can join me and live?"
I shook my head and yelled back.
"Never!"
Voldemort chuckled about my bravery and how my parents had it to. That made me angry how dare he bring up my mother and father again!
Whatever nonsense Voldemort was saying I decided to pretend to listen. I pulled out the stone and Voldemort got excited when he saw it. The second face rambled on about more nonsense how good and evil didn't exist, that there was only power. Having enough I snapped.
"You liar!"
"Kill him!"
The next thing I knew Quirrell was on top of me and while he tried to choke me I dropped the stone. To fight him off I touched Quirrell's hand and he suddenly screamed in pain and his skin was burning. All from my touch!
Knowing what I had to do I got up and pressed my hands into Quirrell's face and his screams were worse this time due to being burned and I pushed him away from me. I watched as Quirrell's body turned into dust and eventually nothing was left except for his clothes. I looked to my hands for a moment before looking at the stone. I went over to it and picked it up.
I smiled glad it was safe however I had a feeling something was behind me. When I turned around the spirit of Voldemort surged through me and the next thing I knew I yelled and then fell into unconsciousness.
Armonie's POV
I flew through the fire and I reverted to my human form. Harry was unconscious but still alive. The Sorcerer's Stone was in his hand. I first picked up the stone and put it away before taking Harry into my arms. I walked through the flames unharmed and Harry was as well.
"Come on kiddo let's get you out of here" I told Harry.
A Few Days Later.
Armonie's POV
Harry thankfully didn't get seriously hurt down in the chamber. But Poppy did want him to stay in the Hospital Wing until she felt he could be discharged. Harry moaned and he then opened his eyes. He put his glasses on and first he saw his treats before noticing me.
"How are you feeling Harry?"
"I feel sore but other than that I'm fine"
I chuckled and approached closer to him.
"Professor Dumbledore will be here soon to see you and I think he has the answers to your questions, but I can tell you Ron and Hermione are alright and they will look forward to seeing you when your discharged"
"Did you carry me out of the chamber?" Harry asked. I flashed Lily's son a smirk.
"That I did"
"Thank you Professor Straus"
I bent down and kissed Harry on the forehead.
"As long as I'm alive I will protect you Harry"
"I know you will"
Albus chose that moment to come and I winked at Harry before excusing myself.
"So Potter is recovered?" Severus asked when I came out of the Hospital Wing.
"Just about he's one hell of a kid"
"Let's hope next year he doesn't cause anymore chaos"
I smacked the black haired male and Severus swore.
"Woman I wish you would quit doing that"
End of Year Feast
Still Armonie's POV
As expected Slytherin did indeed win the house cup. As I took a sip of my wine Albus stood up to make the end of year speech. All of the students looked to their headmaster.
"Another year gone" Albus began. "And as I understand it the house cup needs awarding and the points stand thus"
In fourth place was Gryffindor, third place was Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw finished in second and in first was Slytherin. The Slytherin table burst into applause and cheers. Severus looked indifferent as he clapped. Albus then surprised us with an announcement that some last minute points were to be awarded. First to receive said points was Hermione. Fifty points were given to her thanks to her intellect when others were in grave peril.
Next was Ron and like Hermione he too received fifty points thanks to his Wizard's Chess skills. Harry was next to due to his courage. Dumbledore gave Harry sixty points and my eyes suddenly widened.
Gryffindor is tied with Slytherin!
I chuckled at my phoenix half's excitement and I didn't blame her. Lastly Albus awarded Gryffindor ten points to Neville. The whole Gryffindor table burst into applause and Neville blushed.
"Assuming that my calculations are correct I believe that a change in decoration are in order!"
Albus clapped his hands and the Slytherin banners were replaced with Gryffindor ones.
"Gryffindor wins the house cup!"
The entire Gryffindor table got to their feet while Hagrid and I did a fist bump. Minerva was beaming and to my surprise Severus didn't look upset that his house lost. The Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw students joined in on the celebration and even some Slytherins looked happy for Gryffindor. The students threw their hats in the air and Harry looked to me and Hagrid.
I shot Harry a thumbs up while Hagrid smiled back. Harry returned the smile before rejoining his classmates enthusiasm.
Next Day.
Still Armonie's POV
I wanted to say goodbye to Harry before he left. Hagrid was rounding the other students up into the Hogwarts Express. Harry spotted me and Hagrid and he walked over to us.
"Thought you were leaving without saying goodbye did ya?"
"Of course not" Harry replied.
Hagrid then pulled out a photo album and handed it over to Harry. Harry took it and opened it to find the picture of his parents looking happy and holding their one year old son. Harry thanked Hagrid before suddenly hugging him. Then I was next to receive a hug. Eventually we pulled apart and Hagrid told Harry.
"If that dolt of a cousin of yours Dudley gives you any grief you can always threaten him with a nice pair of ears that go with that tail of his"
I smacked Hagrid on the arm.
Harry chuckled at Hagrid's humor and after one last goodbye the black haired boy boarded the train. He then poked his head out and waved as the train began to move. I didn't leave the station until the Hogwarts Express was out of sight.
Back at the school it was quiet now that the students were gone. I had a few days before I left for my visit to America so I planned on relaxing. What I wasn't expecting was to find Severus outside of my quarters.
"I take it you said goodbye to Potter"
"Your assumptions are correct" I confirmed opening the door and I invited Severus in. Severus seemed nervous and I had a feeling what he was about to say.
To calm him down I placed my wand down before walking over to the black haired male and grabbed his collar pulling him towards me. My lips claimed his and I felt the Potions Master relax. His arms snaked around my waist in a possessive manner that I liked. I kept the kiss brief because I knew Severus wanted to say something.
"I've been a fool and a coward" he began. "But I won't be a coward now, I love you Armonie"
I knew he felt the same way and it's about damn time my phoenix half said.
Severus then pulled me into his arms and like at Christmas I lay my head against his chest. Several tears slid down my face and Severus noticed. He wiped them away before deciding to kiss me. This kiss blew mine out of the water but I didn't care. It was another short one but by the time it was over my face was red.
The Potions Master smirked which earned him a glare and a smack on the head in return for his teasing.
I can hear Armonie and Snape shippers cheering. Their a couple now and I would say it's about damn time.
