Armonie's POV

I'm worried about Harry my phoenix half said.

I agreed with her because when the other students arrived Harry and Ron weren't among them.

The Sorting Ceremony for this year's First Years had just concluded and the newest Weasley sibling joined Gryffindor. Severus wasn't at the feast either which was out of character of him. But knowing my mate the Potions Master probably had a good reason.

Snape's POV

"You were seen by no less than seven muggles"

I threw down the Daily Prophet I had shown Potter and Weasley in anger.

"Do you have any idea how serious this is?"

For some reason Potter and Weasley didn't make it through the platform at King's Cross station. Instead of sending an owl for help the two preteens used a flying car belonging to Weasley's father to get to the school.

"You have risked the exposure of our world, not to mention the damage you inflicted on a Whomping Willow that's been on these grounds since before you were born" I hissed.

"Honestly Professor Snape I think it did more damage to us" Weasley replied nervously.

"Silence" I snapped back. I then got to my feet and moved around my desk. "I assure you that were you in Slytherin and your fate rested with me, the both of you would be on the train home tonight, as it is"

"They are not"

Immediately I turned my head in the direction of Albus and Minerva.

"Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall" Potter said apparently glad to see them.

"Headmaster" I began pointing at the two Second Years. "These boys have flouted the Decree for the Restriction of Underage Wizardry as such"

"I am well aware of our bylaws Severus having written quite a few of them myself, however as Head of Gryffindor house it is for Professor McGonagall to determine the appropriate action" Albus informed me.

"We'll go get our stuff then" Weasley muttered.

"What are you talking about Mr. Weasley?" Minerva inquired.

"Your going to expel us aren't you?"

Minerva paused before answering.

"Not today Mr. Weasley but I must impress on both of you the seriousness of what you have done, I will be writing to your families tonight and you will both receive detention"

Armonie's POV

I'm not giving you another rat I told Kaa.

I was in my nightclothes and I had just finished feeding Kaa his monthly meal. He decided to be a little greedy and I gave the python a second rat.

I am full my serpent friend replied.

He then coiled himself underneath his heating lamp and closed his eyes. Severus chose that moment to apparate into the room and he looked pissed. He tossed me the Daily Prophet he had and I saw what he wanted me to read.

"What the hell?! They flew an enchanted car here to Hogwarts and were seen?"

"Yes and they got lucky" my mate growled before sitting down in a chair. "Albus didn't expel them"

The Potions Master explained that for some reason Harry and Ron couldn't get into Platform 9 ¾ at King's Cross. That was odd if I were to guess someone else with magic of their own was the culprit. Since Severus was still mad I decided give him some space so he could calm down. But when I tried to leave the black haired male grabbed my wrist and the next thing I knew I was in his lap.

"What's your hurry?"

"I was going to let you calm down in private" I responded.

Severus smirked at my answer.

"You calm me down" he purred.

"Oh really? I thought you taking points from students did that" I teased back.

Severus shook his head and to help relax him for real I gave the Head of Slytherin House a kiss I know he very much would enjoy.

Several Days Later.

Armonie's POV

So far the start of term was going well but that idiot Lockhart was getting on my nerves. The blonde fool had thought it would be a good idea to bring in a cage full of excited Cornish Pixies for one of his classes. He was an even bigger idiot to set the mischievous winged beasts loose in his classroom.

Hermione was smart to use Immobulus to freeze the pixies so gathering them wasn't hard though I did get bitten a few times. It was now Saturday and Hagrid invited me to visit him along with Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

Harry's POV

Wood woke me up saying we had Quidditch Practice. It wasn't long until I was in my Quidditch robes and I met up with the rest of my teammates. When we headed in the direction of the stadium we crossed paths with the Slytherin team. Wood wasn't pleased and Marcus Flint handed him a note from Professor Snape saying the Slytherin team could use the field to train their new seeker.

Malfoy turned out to be the new seeker.

"Malfoy?"

"That's right and that's not all that's new this year"

The entire Slytherin Team had Nimbus Two Thousand and Ones!

Mr. Malfoy gifted the whole team with them.

"See Weasley unlike some my father can afford the best"

"At least no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in, they got in on pure talent" Hermione countered.

Malfoy glared at her before walking towards her in a intimidating way.

"No one asked your opinion you filthy little Mublood"

"MR. MALFOY!"

We all jumped as a furious Professor Straus stormed over. I'd never seen this kind hearted woman so angry before. Malfoy looked a little fearful as Professor Straus came to a stop in from of him.

"Thirty points will be taken from Slytherin for that remark, you and the rest of the Slytherin team will follow me to the dungeons"

"But Professor we have practice" Marcus Flint argued.

"That will be up to Professor Snape to decide Mr. Flint"

Armonie's POV

I did my best to keep my temper in check as I led the Slytherin team to the Potions Classroom. I banged on Severus's door and my mate opened it.

"Professor I'm sorry to disturb you but this is important"

Seeing I wasn't joking around the Potions Master nodded and I entered the classroom with the Slytherin team following behind. Once Severus closed the door he asked.

"What has happened?"

"Mr. Malfoy called Ms. Granger a Mudblood, I already took thirty points from Slytherin House, in my opinion because of Mr. Malfoy's actions the entire Slytherin team should not have practice today, but as your are Head of Slytherin its up to you"

Severus looked to Mr. Malfoy with a slight bit of anger and disappointment.

"Is this true Mr. Malfoy?"

At first Draco didn't reply but eventually answered.

"Yes sir"

"Professor Straus I can handle this from here"

I nodded and took my leave. Later I went to Hagrid's and found Harry, Ron, and Hermione there. Hermione had been crying but Hagrid being the sweetheart he was no doubt calmed her down. The five of us had a good visit and I headed back to the castle in better spirits. I almost smacked Severus when he scared me when I entered my quarters.

"The next time you scare me I'm going to kick your ass" I threatened.

"Doubtful" the Potions Master replied. "I'd thought you would want to know I gave Mr. Malfoy detention and canceled the practice for the rest of the team"

I nodded before sitting down.

"I apologize if I seemed unprofessional but I don't tolerate that word"

"You did the right thing Armonie" Severus reassured me. He came over to where I was sitting and placed a hand on top of mine. "If I recall didn't you once punch James Potter while defending me from his bullying?"

"I punched him twice" I corrected. "The other time was when you were in that tree upside down, I ended up breaking his nose"

Back then was when Severus and Lily stopped talking to one another. As though he sensed my thoughts Severus picked my hand up and kissed it.

"I feel guilty sometimes" I confessed suddenly. "For replacing Lily I mean"

"You shouldn't" Severus said and he helped me to my feet and he made me look into his black eyes. His hand caressed my face. "Lily will always have a place in my heart and now you do as well Armonie"

He then moved my hand to where his heart was to prove his point.

Within my mind my phoenix half said.

Awwww now that's sweet

I shot her a smile in return.
