Harry's POV
Since the attack on Mrs. Norris, everyone around Hogwarts was on edge. I didn't blame them one bit for being afraid. We learned about the "Chamber of Secrets" from Professor McGonagall. She explained that Salazar Slytherin had supposedly opened a hidden chamber underneath the school that housed a monster.
Only the heir to Salazar's bloodline could open up the chamber in question. So it was decided a Polyjuice Potion would be brewed so we could get into the Slytherin Common Room and find out from Malfoy what he knew. To brew the Polyjuice Potion we needed a book from the Restricted Section in the library and that required a teacher's note of approval. Hermione managed to get said note from Lockhart and got the book we needed.
Brewing the Polyjuice Potion would take time and some ingredients needed to be stolen from Snape's personal stores. I dreaded that because Snape wasn't a fool and sooner or later he would figure out some of his ingredients would be missing.
Next Day.
Armonie's POV
I had told Albus and Severus what Kaa had told me on Halloween night. Albus advised I keep an ear out for this mysterious snake's voice. At the moment I was with my fellow Gryffindor's watching the first Qudditch match of the year. Slytherin was Gryffindor's opponent and so far Slytherin was in the lead.
Harry's POV
"Alright, their Scarhead?" Malfoy taunted from close by. I shot Malfoy a glare before my attention went back to the game. Suddenly a Bludger came shooting in my direction and I managed to avoid getting hit. Wood wasn't so lucky because after shouting a warning at me the Bludger hit his broom causing it to break.
Realizing the Bludger was after me I guided my Nimbus Two Thousand in the opposite direction and the tampered ball began to chase after me.
Armonie's POV
Some asshole tampered with that Bludger! my phoenix half snapped.
She was right because the damn Bludger wouldn't leave Harry alone. Ron got out his wand and planned on dealing with it but Hermione stopped him.
Harry's POV
After several maneuvers, I managed to lose the Bludger for the moment.
"Training for the ballet Potter?!" Malfoy mocked.
Suddenly the Snitch appeared next to him just as the Bludger came back at me. Again I dodged it before going after the Snitch. It took a few minutes for Malfoy to realize what was going on but eventually, he began to follow.
He then came up beside me and used his arm to hit me in the side to gain the lead for the Snitch. The Snitch took us beneath some bleachers and Malfoy was getting closer to the Snitch. What was worse the rogue Bludger was still chasing me!
I made sure I didn't hit anything and after some more maneuvering, Malfoy and I were side by side. The rogue Bludger wasn't making anything easier and when I saw a chance to lose the Bludger again I took it. Malfoy wasn't so lucky he ended up hitting something and he landed on the field with a hard thud.
When I was close enough to the Snitch I held out my right arm but the Bludger hit it hard. Despite the pain, I managed to grab the Snitch and I landed on the field with a hard thud. Gryffindor won the match and I smiled before seeing the Bludger coming my way.
I avoided getting hit and Hermione thankfully used a spell to destroy it.
Armonie's POV
"Good job Harry" I praised the Second Year as I helped him sit up.
Harry smiled at me just as Lockhart arrived. Harry's arm was broken thanks to that damn Bludger and Lockhart being the idiot he was offered to fix it. Harry disagreed but Lockhart ignored his protest and drew out his wand. He said a quick incantation and after a brief glowing of blue light did Lockhart check Harry's arm.
My eyes widened in horror as Harry's arm bent. The stupid git somehow managed to get rid of Harry's bones!
I shot Lockhart a glare before helping Harry stand up. Ron, Hermione, and I along with the rest of the Gryffindor team took Harry to the Hospital Wing. Poppy was angry when I explained what transpired on the Quidditch field. Harry would need to stay overnight so his bones could be regrown. I personally never had to regrow bones but I have heard it was painful from others.
Harry spat out the SkeleGro when he first took a sip.
"What were you expecting Pumpkin Juice?" Poppy asked sarcastically.
Harry was given some food and drinks before Poppy had the students leave.
"Try and get some rest," I told Harry. I made sure Poppy was away before I gave Harry a smirk. "I wanted to smack Lockhart earlier"
Harry chuckled and I gave him a wink before I left.
Harry's POV
I had been sleeping when the same voice I heard from before woke me up. Alarmed I put on my glasses and looked around but saw nothing except Dobby.
"Hello!" the House Elf greeted me.
"Dobby?"
"Harry Potter should have listened to Dobby! Harry Potter should have gone back home when he missed the train"
My eyes widened at this news.
"It was you, you stopped the barrier from letting me and Ron through"
"Indeed yes sir" Dobby confessed looking guilty.
I looked at the entrance to the Hospital Wing before focusing back on Dobby.
"You nearly got me and Ron expelled" I hissed.
"At least you would have been away from here"
The House Elf then stood up and walked some in my direction.
"Harry Potter must go home" he continued. "Dobby thought his Bludger would be enough to make Harry Potter"
"Your Bludger?" I interrupted. "You made that Bludger chase after me?"
Dobby confirmed this with a nod and showed me his hands which were wrapped up due to them being ironed. I shook my head before threatening to strangle the House Elf. At this Dobby got off of the bed and I climbed out of the cot.
"Dobby is used to death threats sir Dobby gets them five times a day at home"
Even though Dobby was a nuisance I couldn't help but pity him. Who the heck would threaten someone like him? He was a polite elf who obviously just wanted to protect me. Dobby began to sob and he blew his nose into the nasty-looking thing he was wearing.
"Why do you wear that thing Dobby?"
"This sir? Tis a mark of the house elf's enslavement, Dobby can only be freed if his master presents him with clothes"
The sound of movement alerted us and Dobby immediately jumped onto the cot and gestured for me to come closer.
"Listen terrible things are about to happen at Hogwarts, Harry Potter must not stay here now that history is to repeat itself"
Now Dobby had my attention.
"Repeat itself? You mean this has happened before?"
The House Elf gasped and he grabbed the bottle of SkeleGro and began to hit himself with it. I grabbed the bottle before drawing Dobby closer to me. I demanded answers but the house-elf shook his head before snapping his fingers and disappeared. I quickly got back into bed and listened as Professor McGonagall, Professor Dumbledore, and Madam Pomfrey arrived.
Professor Dumbledore said there had been another attack. Professor McGonagall mentioned something about a picture and I felt my eyes widen. The person who had been attacked and petrified had been Colin Creevey!
He was a First Year and he was always keen on taking pictures of me as well as trying to get an autograph. A few seconds later I smelled burning plastic. The film in the camera had been melted hence making it useless.
"What does this mean Albus?" I heard Professor McGonagall question.
"It means that the Chamber of Secrets indeed has been opened again" the Headmaster answered.
Armonie's POV
Severus and I had been sleeping when something woke me up. Tonight I was with my mate in his quarters. I looked around my surroundings and listened. I swore I had heard a cold eerie voice but it was quiet now. My phoenix half was asleep so I couldn't rely on her at the moment.
"What is it Armonie?" Severus asked.
The Potions Master sat up wondering what was bothering me.
"I thought I heard something" I replied. I then shook my head. It was probably nothing and I lay back down along with Severus.
As though he felt my uneasiness Severus kissed my forehead. He then gestured for me to come closer to him and I did. I relaxed when he placed his arms possessively around my body. It wasn't long until my black-haired mate and I were sound asleep again.
