DAY #1 UPDATE
Welcome to the Day #1 Update. I'll be using this time to catch you all up on which characters have been accepted, and more than that, give some notes on specific things I feel need to be said. With that said, here's the update.
• If your OC does not appear below as accepted, that doesn't mean they are denied either; sometimes it might take a bit for me to think over what I could do with that character, and in those cases, you'll have to give me a bit more time to think about it. And more than that, there is no cap on OCs; feel free to send me as many as you want, even if only one gets accepted.
• With the above in mind, though, if enough time passes to where some people seem disinterested in sending more OCs, I will start to allow multiple submissions per person.
• Sorry to Meepster202, but no, I won't make a FictionPress account just for the sake of receiving one application; I decided to change the rules to allow for review submissions, so feel free to send it through reviews if you want.
• While I appreciate a guideline of what you are and aren't comfortable with in terms of your character, it's a completely different story to demand that they are only eliminated/interact with others in a very specific way. Don't do that. It's not a dealbreaker for me, but boy does it annoy me; it's still my story. Let me write it in a way that I believe would make it the best it can be.

Representing: The Ghost Type.
Gender: Male.
Hometown: Lavender Town, Kanto.
"Despite coming from what many (rightfully) suspect as the scariest place on Earth, Gengar is shockingly quite normal. Yep, nothing off about him at all. Ignore the fact that he regularly seems to flinch at the sight of his own shadow. Don't bother looking into how he always seems hesitant to walk through a door or around a corner. Bugs? Pfft, child's play, they're just...Squirmy, crawly, and get places they shouldn't- Okay, facade aside, the point to be made here is Gengar is a massive scaredy-cat. Not that you can necessarily blame him; when you live somewhere where half the residents seem to already be dead or spewing out some fantastical scary story of the week, it's only natural you'd probably prefer shutting yourself away from that sorta life in preference for one of solitude. But even when you're alone, you're never truly sure of as much, are you? What if they're waiting outside to get you? What if you turn off the light and something's watching you from the dark closet in the corner?! WHAT IF IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY AND EVERYONE IN TOWN COMES BY AND YOU CAN'T SEND THEM AWAY CAUSE THAT'S BAD MANNERS?! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-"

Luxray
Representing: The Electric Type.
Gender: Female.
Hometown: Alamo Town, Sinnoh (Though she claims "The World's Land, Sky, and Sea"...Explorers, am I right?).
"Daughter to a pair of Pokémon Explorers, Luxray's childhood was anything but mundane, having spent the greater part of it traveling the world while her parents completed odd jobs. Not long after she joined the Pokémon Exploration Team, however, she found herself at odds with their way of handling things and struck out to begin her own team...Of which she is the only member. But that's all gonna change with this, at least she hopes as much! Short-tempered yet passionate, there are few people with quite her level of energy, pouring her soul into everything she does; even the most normal activities will quickly spiral into adventures in their own right when she's around, a fact she's more than happy to gloat about. Underneath this layer of pride though rests a truly genuine, caring soul, one whose loyalty knows no bounds; to her, a friend for a day is a friend for life. Does this bio seem a bit fast-paced for your liking? Well, deal with it! Because she ain't slowing down for anything; she's just sorta like that. Oh, and she likes puns. Dear GOD does she like puns..."

Absol
Representing: The Dark Type.
Gender: Female.
Hometown: Serene Village, Kalos.
"An aspiring rope dancer, beautiful, nice; on the surface, Absol would almost be judged as perfect...You know, if you ignored the fact that everywhere she goes pretty quickly turns into a mess someone else has to clean up. And that's really her biggest flaw; since birth, Absol has been cursed with supernatural levels of bad luck, another classic victim of Murphy's Law. Passed along hereditarily from her mother, this has been a long-standing issue with her family, and as a result of this, Absol has never found herself being particularly popular with the other residents of her hometown, never having any sort of friend prior to the competition. To her credit, she tries not to let this get her down; she's friendly to a fault, and thanks to her little issue, has actually become something of an expert at solving just about anything life throws at her. The only consequence is that outside of these disasters, Absol finds herself wholly unprepared for the everyday problems; education, social skills, keeping a job, etc. Despite this, she keeps her head held high and walks toward the future with a smile...Despite the fact a building fell over in the time it took us to say that."
