DAY #2 UPDATE
Welcome to the Day #2 Update. Not as many submissions as the day prior, but they also felt a lot stronger. Right now I'm sorta iffy on a few, but so far I'm happy with my selection, and I can't wait who else will be submitted in the coming days.
• Thank you for the frankly incredible amount of support. Seriously, this thing was only designed to advertise the idea I had and it's garnered roughly just under 500 reads in under 2 days. That's pretty cool. Yet so few submit...If someone's smart, they might take advantage of that. Let's see if that rouses interest amongst you masses.
• Quite a few characters are currently in LIMBO as I call it; these characters are ones I'm CONSIDERING for the story, but unlike in the case of the 2 below, I'm now completely confident enough in them to actually commit to using them yet. This could be for many reasons; maybe the submission has a lot of inconsistencies that make me wary of their usage, or perhaps they're too simple, or in other cases maybe I just don't like the details provided. It could be for many reasons, so if you've submitted an OC and they haven't been confirmed yet...It's probably cause they're in LIMBO right now. They have a chance of getting in still, though.

"At his core, Espeon is a very confusing person. Just about everything about him has this vague feeling of mystery surrounding it, less due to any sort of notable behavior and more because nobody can ever put their finger on why he's...Himself. He's charming, but seems just a bit too interested in disturbing subject matter and seems to get some sort of kick out of watching people argue (from afar, of course; he doesn't like loud noises). He's playful and curious, yet is incredibly intelligent and calculating, capable of detecting and exploiting weaknesses before someone even realized what hit them. He enjoys messing with people whether through clever insults or pranks, yet seems to follow some sort of code that nobody else seems to fully comprehend. But that seems to be the trick to it; nobody understands him, BUT him. And to him, that's fine. He doesn't care if other people "get him", all that he cares about is having fun and maybe learning something new while doing it. Others see a thief. A liar. A con. But to him? He's a thrill-seeker. And boy, is he gonna get a whole new set of thrills out of this batch of dorks."

"Samurott's weird. There's really no other way to put it. An orphan who has practically fended for himself since the day he was born, he's a strange guy to really get a handle on, or talk to, or...Really do much of anything with. He's a very isolated, self-reliant kind of guy, and at that, very quiet. Like creepily quiet; like a statue. As he'd likely say in his own words (if he actually bothered saying any), he prefers to let his actions speak for him. And if his actions show anything, it's that he's a terrifying example of the maximum potential of his species. Incredibly resourceful with mastery of survival and combat training, a can-do attitude, unstoppable willpower and determination, and a complete inability to be swayed from what he's already decided on. The only issue is that, since he's a very asocial person, what most people likely see is a hermit unwilling to compromise who couldn't care less about working as a team or finding any sort of common ground to work off of...Which to be fair, may not even be far off. A drifter at heart, a hard worker to the bone, and a loner in his soul; he's Samurott. He does what he wants. Simple as that."
