"I saw a bit of the scenery around here today; it was nice. Beautiful even."

An Oran Berry crunched as a figure leaned down and took a hefty bite out of it. It was Samurott, sitting inside of his handmade tent, staring down at…A camera. One that had seemingly been pulled from where it had once been if the twigs stuck to its exterior was anything to go off of.

"It's been a long time since I got to come out here; to see nature," he continued, chewing the berry casually with a dull expression, "it's nice to get away from home. I appreciate the opportunity-"

As he was saying this, though, he lifted his head at a noise; a howl. It rang out into the night, a smile rising onto Samurott's face as he listened.

"...I think there's a storm brewing." He explained after a few moments passed. "Could feel it on the wind. Cold. Real cold…Should start passive enough, though I think by afternoon tomorrow it'll start surging out of control."

He tapped the foundation of his shelter. "Should hold. I'll bring everything inside tomorrow. Then I'll move out. Have to explore as much as I can before the terrain becomes unstable."

Samurott finished the last of his berry, wiping his paw across the ground. He breathed in, letting out a loose cough…Then sighed.

"I'm glad I'm out here."

Storm's brewing overhead...
