Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Dividing Darkness. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Star Wars, LucasArts and Disney do.

"How is the subject doing?" The Admiral questioned as the shuttle slowly started to fly up towards his Star Destroyer. "Do not forget the empire demands warriors like Lord Vader." The Admiral stated as he thought about it.

The admiral knew for a fact there was plenty of variables when it came down to it. There was plenty of thinking about the future of the empire. He shook his head and walked away from the viewport. The admiral crossed his arms as the shuttle started to move towards the hanger. They'd be back to work soon enough.

"This dark warrior project is strange, but I can't question the emperor." The admiral stated as he thought about how they played into the future of the empire. "Why Lord Vader wants children rather than soldiers." The admiral added while he cracked his fingers.

He walked to his quarters. He knew for a fact that there was plenty of time to focus on issues like that. He was curious as to how the galaxy would react to a new generation of 'guardians' as the emperor stated they'd turn out to be.

"This will be quite interesting." The admiral said as he shook his head. "You, get me Lord Vader. Tell him that we captured the prize he requested." The admiral ordered, snapping his fingers as he did so.

"He's already requesting an update, sir. I'll send the message to your quarters?" The admiral heard from one of the bridge crew. "Shuttle Harbinger? You are cleared for docking, please report to medical bay 3 with the child so we may depart." The admiral heard the tech order the shuttle as his Star Destroyer hovered over the planet.

It was a simple backwater, the idea of the empire's future being here? It was worth a chuckle if he wasn't so bemused by the prospect of figuring out what this was all for. There had to be an endgame, he was just a simple servant, but he aspired to find out what this was for.

"Sir, shuttle just docked in the hanger bay. They will be up in a few minutes or so." The tech reported to which he got a nod. "This sounds just like what the jedi did, though." The tech added as the admiral turned to him with a raised eyebrow.

The jedi were dead, a failed attempt at the republic to have magic peacekeepers. The admiral was all too familiar with the concept. He knew very well that something would be better when it came down to it.

"The Jedi were a failed concept of what we aim to pull off, lieutenant." The admiral said, advancing on the soldier, a grimace stretching across his mangled features. "What we aim for is better, more perfect. A true sword for the empire to use on the galaxy if they even dare attempt to hurt us." The admiral added to which the soldier was silent.

He composed himself. Now was not the time for petty whining, it was the time for celebration. The empire had all the tools now to bring law and order to the galaxy. It would just end up taking too much time when it came down to it, something that made him chuckle when it came down to it.

"I'm just saying, a wave of these magic using warriors like this? It sounds so similar to the Jedi I used to hear about." The tech responded as the admiral scrunched his nose in disgust at the idea. "Peacekeepers with magical powers like this is exactly what the jedi used to do. I'm just curious if the emperor is a fan of the jedi." The tech added, earning a roll of the eyes in the process.

"If you were smart? You'd have known the jedi scared the emperor before." The admiral said, crossing his arms as he did so. "They scared him more than anything. I have my orders from the emperor himself. We will be meeting with Lord Vader, we will be delivering the child to him, and we will be calling it a day." The admiral said as he snapped his fingers, unsure of what to do after that.

This project was for the fate of the empire. Did he concern himself with those details? Yes. He was quite curious, but he bit his tongue, knowing what came down to the devil in the details? That was Vader's issue, not his… Not like this.

He watched as the techs finished their preparations, probably as concerned to flee the system with their prize. Whatever Vader was doing? It was something that probably involved his arcane sorceries.

"Bah, this hurts my brain just thinking about it." The admiral stated to which he was forced to shake his head.

This nightmare was some else's issue at the end of the day. Not his…. All he cared about was it being done and over with.

Author notes

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be MUCH longer. I also want someone to make a Visions category so I can finally label this story finally. Next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will show Vader's plan for this child along with set up the birth of Karne and Am. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Next will be 900-6500 words
