I sit next to Arister with Amiya/Saturn next to me, as we are in some sort of airship and all these armored people are with us, once my brother got treated by their medic, we were taken to this ship and now we're heading somewhere else. I can't see anything through the windows, I guess so we can't figure out how to go to wherever they're taking us to.

"Who are you?"

The armored person that appeared first earlier look at me, their helmet had a big visor which showed some sort of UI like I saw in the videogame of killing demons and ripping them apart when they're on low health. They just are standing there, not exactly menacingly, but I feel uncomfortable.

"The Templars." The armored person said.

"Templars? As in Templar Knights?"

"That's right, young boy." They reply, nodding. "Although we don't have much knights in our creed, we try to fulfill their purpose, which is cleanse Earth from demons."

"Demons? Like the ones Arister and we fought?"

"Affirmative." They responded, continuing "Demons lived among us since earlier times than we may know of, since then there has been an agreement between humans and demons of no aggression. It was always followed by both races...however, as you noticed, humanity has fallen from grace and now there are many organizations working with demons. We the Templars are one of the few resistances against organizations like Nomad."

"Nomad are the people that have been after Masahiro since we both can remember." Arister mentioned ¿Wait, it was those people with the monsters that wanted me, but why?

"Why do they want me?"

"Hmmm." The person approached me and leaned to my eye level, they seemed to be inspecting me. They then pointed out "Your eye, can you open it?"

"N-No?"

"Let me see it." They demanded. Arister didn't protest and nodded at me. I then slowly opened my eye as the armored person gasped.

"A taimanin..." They said, I'm confused since I don't know what is a taima-nin.

"Taima-nin...?"

"You don't know what are taimanins, do you?" They asked.

"None of us know." Kiro/Barricade responded. The Templar seemed to be thinking.

"What are tai-manins?"

"Taimanins are anti-demon ninjas, even though they have demons in their ranks, from what I heard. They are part demon-part human people that use something called Particles, similar to our Adaptia." One of the armored templar soldiers said.

"Adaptia?" Arister asked.

"It's the magic that courses through the very beings of us humans, except this boy, Masahiro, you all have it like us, and apparently, you just have awakened." The templar leader said.

"Can we know more about this Adaptia?" Annie/Daybreak asks.

"It strenghtens the body and whatever tools a human uses, for example, Arister's weapon were strenghtened by his Adaptia which adapted him to fight against the members of Nomad, and the Hell Knight Ingrid. Adaptia is our defense mechanism of humans against demon magic and even particles." The templar leader explained.

"Hell Knight...Ingrid...?" We all asked simultaneously, except the templars.

"The woman the young sergeant fought before I arrived." The leader responded.

"The woman with the flaming sword." Arister said, I noticed him starting at his own bandaged hands.

I felt that the airship was tilting and I think it's going lower.

"Looks like we're here." The templar leader said.

We all stayed in our seats as the ship seemed to land in the ground as the engine seemed to be turning off, as the hatch opened and well stood up. The templar leader stepped to the front as they motioned for us to follow them.

We all looked around seeing more templar, some had their helmets off while others were getting in or out of jeeps, airships, helicopters and even trucks. I could see we were in some sort of mountain base judging from the tunnels and the gates for the aircraft. I look at Masahiro who seemed to be amazed by all of this, then hold his shoulder as he stares at me curious.

"We'll be fine. I promise."

He smiles at me, I can't help it, I'm probably smiling too, because I feel it in my face. We keep following the squad templar leader, entering a hallway where there's non armored people among the armored ones. Men and women, some stared at us while others just didn't mind, not even in the department headquarters I saw people getting along very well.

"Incredible."

So far, me and my team eventually got along after awkard conversations with each of them separately, at first we were a little wary of each other since everyone wasn kind of distant there. It's a shame that our team was reduced to just us 7, the other 11 members were all pretty good people nonetheless. I sigh as we arrive at a room with a table, probably an office for small reunions. We all sit down, some templars and the squad leader from before standing around us. Eventually, a woman with bright red hair and yellow eyes entered into the room, wearing an usual office dress matching with heir hair color, office glasses and her hair tied into a bun, being curly.

"Greetings, Sergeant Allistair Hikaru." She said my actual name, since Arister was just my nickname that I prefered between family and friends, her voice is soft, yet stern. She then says "My name is Reiu Junko, and I'm one of the Colonnels of the Templars."

Mrs. Junko sat on the chair at the other end of the table, right in front of me. She looks at me, as if inspecting me.

" , we have been researching about you and your brother Masahiro, we believe that in our brotherhood you, your team and your brother will be safe. Not only you will be given shelter but also equipment, training and information that you will need. We range from librarians in the libraries, to priests and sorcerers that you can talk to in any other place of our base." She explained as she kept a neutral expression.

"I see."

Colonnel Junko then resumed "You will be taken to your dormitories where you can rest until tomorrow. Until then, I suggest you explore this base."

"Understood."

"Captain Angelo, may you guide the templars to their dormitories?" The colonnel asked to the armored person that we met earlier in Yokohama. They take off their helmet to reveal a man with fair skin, blue eyes and orange short hair, few scars across his face.

"With pleasure, colonnel Junko." The captain said as he turned towards us. "Follow me, new brothers and sisters."

We head back into the hallway, being lead by the captain Angelo who started to speak again.

"Over there you have the library, where our librarians study and note down any discovery they obtain in their work. You often see them having an artifact or a dead demon laying next to them in the tables, don't worry, the dead monsters are later brought to the biologic investigators" He explained.

"This is the armory, or well, one of the armories that are placed over the base, since the place it's very big and sometimes it feels like a maze when you don't look at the maps." He said as he motion to a map of the base, some places had a restriscted label. I should probably kept that in mind.

"As you probably noticed when we arrived, we have hangars and obviously, we have warehouses and garages, not to mention our training grounds that have a simulation system that can simulate missions, you will feel like in the most real missions in there. You will sometimes encounter Angels which are Templars whose Adaptia has grown so strong they evolved into the strongest people, after the cardinals in our lines. The cardinals are men and women that have great knowledge, experience and have the strongest Adaptia in our creed. There are also inquisitors, priests/priestesses, chapels and we are starting to develop robotic units for defense and suppliyng." He explained again. "This is the place."

We arrived at a door that had a number '40392', the captain Angelo then spoke again after chuckling a little.

"You will share it, but don't worry, the dormitories works as apartments, having separate bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms. Now go rest and take care, I shall see you all tomorrow in the training grounds."

We all saluted.

"Thank you, Captain, I wish you a good rest aswell."

We entered the dormitory which had the living room and kitchen connected with only a 'bar' separating it from the living room, there is a sofa where Masahiro just sat and Hermes did as well. Saturn went into the restrooms and Hopper went to check out the bedrooms with Barricade and Stomp.

"This is the biggest turn I had in my life." Clockwork said as he leaned against the bar.

"I know, it's the most unusual thing even for me, who's been dealing with Nomad since long ago. And this creed of Templars is also something very big to believe. A whole creed dedicated to hunt demons...it's not very shocking that demons exists since we fought Orcs earlier but the world is full of surprises, I guess."

"This energy we have, the Adaptia." Clockwork spoke while staring at one of his hands- "Is what saved us from death by the hands of that woman called Ingrid."

"Yeah, the lady's sword almost turned you into a pile of ashes." Hermes mentioned, already having taken off most of his uniform "Too bad your hands had to taste those crazy flames of her."

"Tell me about it." I said sarcastically as I grabbed a juice box and served myself on a glass.

"It's 19:57, sarge, want me to cook?" Hermes asked as he went into the kitchen, and next to me.

"Sounds cool to me." I took a swig of juice from the glass I grabbed and served in, after that I went to sit next to Masahiro.

"Trying to digest all the info?"

My little brother jumped and looked at me, a little embarrased. He then said -"Yeah...turns out I'm a part demon ninja or something of the sorts ¿Pretty crazy, huh?" He laughed awkardly. I wrapped my free arm around his shoulders and pulled him close.

"Listen Masahiro, even if you turned out to be a demon, I'd still love you. Because you're my brother and I swore to myself and our parents that I'd protect you."

He smiled relieved, I couldn't help but smile myself, too. We eventually ate dinner and chatted.

"¿Lucius, do you want check the library with me tomorrow?" Rimuru asked to Lucius.

"Sounds like a good idea, Allistair, what do you say?"He then asked to me.

"I'll check the armory to see if I can repair or get new tonfas, maybe a new shotgun, too."

"I need a new sniper, too." Zaki said.

"Me and Kiro are going to the training grounds." Amiya said, as Kiro nodded.

"I'll be at the gym next to it, I need to keep myself in shape." Korone spoke.

"Do you plan to become a golem?" Oda joked, he got thrown a piece of bread into his mouth by Lucius as we laughed and kept chatting.

Eventually we took our showers, taking turns, then changed and went to sleep.

Somewhere, in a city where Nomad had control of a great portion there, at a big office sat Edwin Black the leader of the criminal organization Nomad, with gray hair and blue eyes, which are currently closed as he was thinking about what one of his informants told him, the lost taimanin, and a member of the Fuuma clan nonetheless. However, one name popped in his mind.

"So the Templars have taken the lost taimanin. Well done, Luciff...well done."

He smirked as he opened his eyes and a dark, menacing aura manifested around him. Ingrid, the hell knight, entered the office. Black changed his expression to a serious one.

"Lord Black, I apologize for my failure." She said, bowing in front of him.

"It's not necessary. The arrival of the Templars was unexpected, they have grown more powerful lately. And it's starting to pester me..." He said while turning on his chair and staring out the window.
