It's been a few weeks since they picked up Harry and James could not be any happier however seeing the pain and fear in his son's eyes made him angry. James smiled when he saw his son talk to Sirius and Remus on the floor. However, James could see something in his son's eyes still. "School is fun, but Dudley still won't leave me alone," Harry was saying. James hummed but he didn't say anything. He knew that being in the same school as his pig-like cousin will cause some kind of trouble. James shared a look with Sirius and Remus as Harry played with the stuffed animals on the floor. James sighed, he knew that they should find a new school for Harry or at least let Remus teach him before Hogwarts, but James didn't know how to do that. Not without Lily anyway. James closed his eyes and let out a breath.

"Harry?" James asked his son who looked up and James saw the worry in his eyes. James cursed in his head. "How would you like to move schools? You won't have to deal with your cousin picking on you anymore," James said looking at Remus who was reading a book by the fireplace. Remus looked up and smiled at Sirius. However, Harry had wide eyes, but he didn't answer. James sighed however he knew that Harry would love too but he saw dear in his son's eyes. "It's okay Harry. If you want to stay at that school I understand," Harry stood up and for the first time hugged his father.

"I would love to. Please dad, please," Sirius and Remus laughed at this. James smiled into his son's hair.

"Alright pup. I'll need to go with you to school tomorrow and tell them. Why don't you go and get ready for bed?" James said after he pulled Harry out of his arms. Harry smiled and ran out of the room.

Ten minutes after Harry went to bed, James, Sirius, and Remus were still at the dining room table once again. Remus noticed something in his friend's eyes, but he didn't know what it was. "James, are you okay?" Remus asked sharing a look with Sirius who had a simmer look in his eyes. James let out a shaky breath and closed his eyes. He then nodded and swallowed thickly.

"Yes, but I still feel like I can't do this without Lily. Harry asked about her I got choked up. I eventually told him about her but…" Hames cut off and put his hand over his face. Remus and Sirius both sighed and smiled at him.

"Prongs you know that she is still here with us. No one knows that better than you. We are here as well if you need us. We do need to be there for Harry for her," Sirius said standing up and hugging James. Remus did the same thing. They did not see Harry standing in the doorway. He heard the whole thing.

"Dad?" Harry asked playing with his hands. Sirius and Remus pulled Harry out of their arms.

"what's wrong cub?" Remus asked looking at James who stood up and walked over to Harry. He got down to his knees and took his son's hair.

"I'm right here Harry. You know what?" James asked lifting Harry's chin. James saw tears in his son's green eyes.

"What?" Harry asked.

"So is your mum, she's right here," James put his hand over his son's hear making Sirius smile and walk over to his Godson. Harry smiled brightly and hugged his father and Godfather. Remus nodded knowing that they would pull him into the hug if he tried to leave. He walked over to them and joined in as well.
