Chapter 3: The Invincible Suicidal

People are starring, Naruto noticed as he arrived into the village. Maybe because he is still covered in blood from the fight with Kisame.

So, before he went to report, he went home to take a shower and change. He rather not worries Father.

He opened the door of his home, and as usual, Nico ran to him but stopped seeing him "B-B-B-BLOOD!"

Naruto blinked as Mother ran where they were, before dragging him to the kitchen "Naruto! What happened in your mission!?" She exclaimed as she got the med-kit.

Naruto smiled, remembering this new fond memory "I met Kisame Hoshigaki, and we fought. After I beat him, I took his weapon." Kushina nodded seeing the sword strapped to his back.

"Been a while since I saw Samehada... but still! You shouldn't have engaged! He could have killed you!"

Naruto kept his nostalgic smile "But I lived. Besides, it was fun."

Kushina blinked confused. Her son was behaving strangely "Naruto?"

"He gave me a purpose." he stood up and headed to the door "I also want to die now."

As he left, Kushina was horrified. "Die?"

*Next Day*

"Hello Naruto. Do you know why you are here?" Naruto starred at Inoichi Yamananka with a bored look.

"No."

Inoichi nodded "Well, your parents were a bit worried after your last mission." He started and Naruto raised a brow.

"I already got checked in the hospital and healed too. Why are they worried about." He asked and Inoichi sighed.

"Well; you expressed yesterday that you want to die."

"...So?"

"Naruto; you have to know that wanting to end your life, is not somethi-"

"I don't want to end my life." Naruto interrupted "I want to die in battle."

Inoichi raised one eyebrow "Why?"

Naruto smiled, the memories of his fight with Kisame coming back "When I fought Kisame, when he resisted my attacks and even harmed me... I felt... alive. And when Kisame died... he died happy. I want to know, how you can die and be happy at the same time. I want to feel like that."

"I see..." Inoichi hummed "You just want to feel a rush of adrenaline coursing through you."

Naruto nodded "I guess you can say that."

Inoichi smiled "Well, if that's the case what you say if you try a new hobby?"

Naruto raised a brow "A new hobby?"

Inoichi nodded "Yes. Maybe there is something you haven't tried before that will give you the same feeling as in fighting." He explained and Naruto didn't look sure.

"I..."

"Naruto, please. Think of your family."

Even if Naruto didn't understand, what does his family have to do with anything here, he accepted to try new things. All of them were a failure that literally bored him to sleep.

When he tried cooking, he fell asleep and burned part of the kitchen and almost the house all together. When he tried meditating, he stood up in middle of the session to go to the bed. He tried a bit of all actually, from a sport that you can't kick called boxing, to crochet.

Seeing that the desire to die from his son isn't leaving him, but now to the point of asking for suicidal missions, Minato decided to ask for help from the two people his son will listen no matter what.

A and B.

*Kumo*

Naruto changed his way of dressing. His lower part is the same, but now, he only has his jonin vest with nothing under, still the neck covering his lower face and Samehada strapped to his back.

After the kumo guards allowed him to enter, Darui received him "Yo Red."

Naruto nodded to Darui as the blonde guided him to the Raikage Tower "So, why you came?"

Naruto shrugged "Father and Mother wanted A and 8 to help me."

Darui nodded "Sorry for asking, but in what exactly?"

"I want to die." Darui actually stopped walking after hearing his younger friend wish "But I don't see the problem with it." He stopped and looked at Darui that had a worried expression "Darui?"

"Let's hurry." Darui said as grabbed Naruto by the arm and started to drag him.

They arrived to the Raikage tower and entered the Raikage's office, where B was writing rhymes and bopping his head as A did paperwork. Once Darui closed the door, they looked to them.

B grinned "Yo 9 The Red Man, what's bring you to the Cloud Man, Yo!"

A nodded with a smirk "Minato send me a letter you needed help. He didn't say in what though."

"It is serious, Boss." Darui said confusing Naruto.

"I don't get why it is a big deal. I just want to die in-" he was interrupted when B lunged at him and hugged him while he cried.

"DIE!? 9, you can't die! You're too young fool!" B cried, surprising Naruto.

"8, relax. It isn't a big deal." Naruto tried to calm him down when A jumped over his desk, veins on his forehead popping as he looked at Naruto.

"Did someone made you want to die!?" He demanded and Naruto thought about it for a moment.

"Yes."

"WHO!?"

"Kisame Hoshigaki."

"I am killing that damn fish then!" A declared and Naruto raised a brow.

"I already did." Naruto informed him, stopping A's rage and B's cries "Look, I just want to have the same thing that Kisame had, a glorious death he called it."

"Explain." A said and Naruto nodded.

"When I fought Kisame, I felt alive. I... don't know how else to describe it, but my whole body was enjoying the fight." A sat down behind his desk and hummed "And when I killed him, he was... happy. He thanked me for giving him his glorious death." He smiled "I want to have my glorious death now, to see how it feels."

"I see..." A hummed as he closed his eyes "And you will go all the way with this? You know this, death is permanent. When you get your... 'glorious death', it will be the last thing you will do. Are you okay with that?" A asked, his heavy gaze falling in Naruto.

Naruto nodded "I am."

A nodded "If that's the case, promise me this; become stronger, and win against all, but when the time comes, die without regrets." He smiled at him "That way, you will enjoy it to your last breath."

*Days Later*

After Naruto left, A was writing a letter to Minato about the meeting with his son.

Minato;

I understand you are worried about Naruto and his seemingly suicidal desires. But don't worry, he won't end his life. He just wants to fight. And even if that doesn't seem any better, stopping him from doing it, might result in a worse outcome. But still, make sure the brat isn't ready. During his stay here we helped him wield Samehada so he can fight even better. Give him more A rank mission, maybe an S from time to time for him to be ready.
