Hokage's Tower
The Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi also known as the God of Shinobi because of his prowess over the five elements. Teacher of the Legendary Sannin, also known as the Professor because of his mastery of all the jutsu in Konoha. Student and successor of the Second Hokage Tobirama Senju, veteran of all three great shinobi wars.
Yes Hiruzen Sarutobi has done and seen many things in his life but nothing could've prepared him for the swift ending of one of his Chūnin. Yes Mizuki Tôji was not one of Konoha's top Chūnin but he was a Chūnin nonetheless, but for him to be taken out like canon fodder by a newly minted Genin was just insulting. Naruto Uzumaki was public enemy number one, hated by the majority of the village for housing the Kyūbi, and one of Sarutobi's many regrets.
Sarutobi knew the boy's parents and Naruto seemed to inherit his father's intelligence and his mother's talent in kenjutsu. Hiruzen as a grandfather figure to Naruto can't help but to feel overwhelming pride towards the boy in front of him, but as Hokage he is suspicious of how powerful Naruto is at such a young age.
"And that concludes my report Lord Hokage." said Iruka. "Thank you Chūnin Umino for your report, you're dismissed." Iruka proceeds to bow and leaves the room. Sarutobi smokes his tobacco pipe for a few moments. "Genin Uzumaki you have successfully taken down a traitor and a threat to Konoha." says Sarutobi "because of your actions you will be rewarded with an A-rank payment." Sarutobi continued. "It was my duty as a Konoha shinobi Lord Hokage." said Naruto. "Naruto about the Ky-" "it's nothing Sarutobi." Interrupts Naruto "You and everyone in this village will never understand the pain and suffering I have to go through on a daily basis, and for what? Just so the village can have a weapon at the expense of a child!" Shouts Naruto. "I'm sorry Naruto the Fourth wanted everyone to see you as a hero." said Sarutobi. Naruto continues to smoke his cigarette. "The Fourth was praised as a genius but he was also an idealistic fool. He wanted me to be seen as a hero after the Kyūbi's rampage where people lost their loved ones?" Asks Naruto. "Naruto about the village. Do you want to destroy it or protect it?" Asks Sarutobi. "I don't careif the village is destroyed or if it survives, I only care about my dreams and ambitions." Says Naruto. ' Forgive me Minato, Kushina I have failed your son.' Thinks Sarutobi. "Can I leave now? " "Yes Naruto you can leave." Said Sarutobi. As Naruto steps our of the room Sarutobi dismisses his ANBU guards and for the first time in years the God of Shinobi cried.
As Naruto steps outside the Hokage's Tower he sees Iruka waiting for him. "Hey Naruto want to get some ramen?" Asks Iruka. "As long as you're paying." said Naruto. As the two head to Ichiraku Ramen.
The Academy
The classroom was buzzing with activity, because it was the day that the genin get grouped into teams. Our main character is currently taking a nap next to the golden boy Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke is curious about the enigma that is Naruto Uzumaki, the blonde was hardly ever present in the academy yet he passed. He was the dead last, but he knows an elemental clone jutsu. His musings were interrupted, by two young women. Sakura Haruno and Ino Yamanaka were a waste of time(Sasuke's opinion) and pathetic(Naruto's opinion) . All these two did was chase after Sasuke and declare their love for him hoping that the avenger will return their affections. Instead of training and being better kunoichi than pathetic fangirls(Naruto's opinion). As the two young women approach Sasuke they see Naruto taking a nap next to Sasuke. Ino who grew up in a shinobi Clan to know that Naruto is not someone you should mess with and wisely went around to sit on Sasuke's left side. Sakura on the other hand tried to push Naruto, when a burst of killing intent made the entire classroom on edge. Akamaru tried to tuck himself further into Kiba's hoodie, Choji stopped eating his chips, Shikamaru was still asleep but if you look closely you could see sweat forming on his face. Kiba just wanted to get out of the building, Ino passed out and Sasuke was reliving his childhood trauma, 'It's just like that night!' Sakura was shaking on the floor. This was the scene Iruka Umino saw as he entered the classroom.
After everyone calmed down. Iruka started to announce the teams from 1-6. "Team 7 is Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha an-" " YES!!" Shouts Sakura. "SAKURA SHUT UP!" Snaps Iruka. "Sorry sensei" apologised Sakura. "As I was saying Team 7 is Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki. Team 8 is Shino Aburame, Hinata Hyūga and Kiba Inuzuka. Team 10 is Choji Akimichi, Shikamaru Nara and Ino Yamanaka." "Before you leave with your Jônin instructors, I'd like to say that I'm proud of each and every one of you and I hope you become outstanding ninja of Konohagakure no sato." Said Iruka with pride. As Iruka left the Jônin instructors of teams 1-6 fetched their students. Soon after two Jônin appeared. One was a red-eyed woman with long messy black hair and the other was a Man with a cigarette in his mouth. "Team 8 with me." said the woman. "Team 10 with me." Said the man.
An hour later Team 7 is still waiting for their jônin instructor, Sasuke was getting frustrated and Sakura is still looking at said boy with hearts in her eyes. Naruto takes some green powdered herb and a thin sheet of paper, and proceeds to roll the herb onto the paper. After he finished rolling the herb he goes to the window and jumps out.
Kakashi Hatake was a Man of mystery, but also he was a Man of legend. Son of the White Fang Sakumo Hatake, sole surviving student of the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze. Former ANBU Commander. The only non-Uchiha to possess the Sharingan, and with it he has copied over a thousand jutsu. Most importantly this man is team 7's jônin Sensei and currently he is indulging in the sacred texts of Make out Paradise vol 4. As he enters the classroom were his genin were waiting for him, he sees that the third member is not in the classroom. "Where is the other one." asks Kakashi with work lazy tone. Sasuke shrugged. "Sensei he jumped out the window." said Sakura. "Well meet me at the roof." said Kakashi.
Academy Roof
As Kakashi appears with a poof on the roof he sees his sensei's son leaning against the railing reading the same book like the one his holding. As a fellow lover of the Make Out series he goes and stands next to Naruto. A few minutes later, the genin were sitting on the steps. "Introduce youselves" said Kakashi "You first Sensei." Says Sakura "My name is Kakashi Hatake and I have many likes and I have many dislikes and my hobbies *giggles* you're too young to know about those. Dreams hmm..." "That's it? " Asks Sakura. Kakashi nods, "You first pinky." Says Kakashi. Sakura growls "My name is Sakura Haruno,and I like, I mean the person that I like*giggles*" "And your dislikes?" Asks Kakashi "INO!" yells Sakura. 'Hmm I guess girls her age are interested in boys rather than ninjutsu.' Thinks Kakashi. "Your turn sunshine" points at Sasuke. "My name is Sasuke Uchiha and I don't like a lot of things, and I particularly don't like anything, and my dream, no my ambition is to revive my Clan and kill a certain someone." 'So he's still focused on killing his brother.' And you blondie "My name is Naruto Uzumaki I likereading, gardening, weed, sleeping, training and kenjutsu. And I hate a lot of things, and my dream is to become the Strongest." says Naruto with determination. 'He grew up in an interesting way ' thinks Kakashi.
"Alright, now that the introductions are behind us I can now tell you about the true genin exam." said Kakashi. "But sensei didn't we do the exam in the academy?" asks Sakura. "No that exam was for students with the potential to become genin. This however is the real deal with a failure rate of 66%" says Kakashi with a serious tone of voice. "Out of 27 graduates only nine will pass." continued Kakashi.
"I'll meet you at 5:00 at training ground 7 tomorrow. And don't eat breakfast or you'll puke." said Kakashi as he vanishes with a swirl of leaves. Followed by Sasuke Who jumped off the roof. After a few moments Sakura left, Naruto decides to vanish with with a small tornado deep in thought for tomorrow's test.
