Chapter 8
One month later
Training Ground 13
The sounds of steel meeting steel was heard throughout the training ground as Yugao Uzūki was put on the defence against her students relentless, but precise attacks. One month had passed since that day at the dango café and the violet-haired kunoichi grew to love the blonde like a little brother.
'Leaf Style: Half Moon Slash' Yugao went with a slash that almost cut the blonde in half, as Naruto replaced himself with a log. The two stared at each other until Naruto appeared behind Yugao mumbling something before the violet-haired kunoichi fell down.
"Congratulations Naruto you finally beat my Shadow Clone" chirped Yugao. Naruto wiped the sweat from his brow" When can I face the real you?" Yugao smiled "I still have a mission coming up, maybe when I come back" Naruto rolled his eyes as he packed up his gear "by that time I'll be leagues ahead of you" Yugao laughed as she gave the blonde a hug "be safe Naruto" said Yugao as she body flickered away from the training ground. 'This is how it feels when someone cares for you huh?' thought Naruto as he left with a swirl of leaves.
Hokage's Tower
"The Chūnin Exams are almost upon us" said Sarutobi. "Before you nominate your teams beware the exams will be filled with exceptional Genin this time around" Asuma raised his eyebrow "What do you mean exceptional?" Sarutobi smoked his pipe as he looked at his son "A-ranked Genin from the other villages, don't think that these are your adult Genin. No these Genin are the best of the best, and they are all under sixteen" The room exploded with questions from 'how' to 'how is this possible.' "Well my Genin aren't ready" mumbled Asuma
"These are stats showing some of the Genin who were nominated" said Sarutobi. Kakashi looked at the first file:

'These are jônin level stats!' thought Kakashi in shock. "Whoa check this out the Fourth Yôkage's daughter's stats are through the roof!" said Anko as Kakashi took a peek:

"How are these kids still Genin?" said Kurenai. Sarutobi looked at the Jônin instructors "If you want to nominate your teams these are type of threats they will encounter, my advice to you is to train them the way a Jônin would" said Sarutobi with a serious tone.
As the Jônin left the office leaving Kakashi and Sarutobi. "Kakashi are you thinking of nominating your students for these exams?" asked Sarutobi. "I'll see after the C-Rank mission tomorrow" lazily said Kakashi. "But I'll say this: only Naruto can go toe to toe with these monsters" said Kakashi as he left the office. 'The younger generation is getting stronger' thought Sarutobi as he looked at the Hokage Mountain.
Training Ground 7
Naruto appeared on the training ground as Kakashi was talking with the other Genin. "Yo sorry I'm late" chirped Naruto as Kakashi gave him an eye smile "No worries Naruto."
A few moments later Kakashi spoke to his students with a serious tone "Listen up, we're going on a C-Rank tomorrow, we'll be protecting the representative of Iron Country" Sakura raised her hand "Sensei isn't Iron Country not allied with the ninja nations?" Kakashi yawned "Not military, just trade" Naruto smirked 'Iron Country, home to one of the greatest swordsmen in the world'
"Remember team, pack warm clothing" said Kakashi as he disappeared with a swirl of leaves. "What do we do now?" asked Sasuke. Naruto looked at the avenger "We could spar" Sasuke smirked "No killing or maiming right?" Naruto nodded. Sakura looked at her teammates with a vicious tick mark on her head "YOU IDIOTS!!" said the pissed off kunoichi as she bashed their heads. "You two disappeared for a whole month without telling me, and now that I finally see you guys you want to beat the crap out of each other!?" shouted Sakura. "Sorry Sakura" said the two as they nursed their bruised heads.
"Now you guys have to make it up to me" said Sakura with a smirk. "Anything" said Sasuke. Sakura had a vicious grin on her face.
Konoha shopping district
"Anything, huh you simping bastard" growled Naruto as he went into the fifteenth store. "Look I'm sorry Naruto I should've known" said a pale and depressed avenger. "Fuck you Demon!" said a customer. "Umm whose the demon?" asked Sakura "That blonde brat is not welcome here" said the owner. "Why is Naruto not welcome here?" asked Sasuke. One of the customers yelled out "Because he's a demon, he's the Ky-" Naruto released a burst of Haki to knock the people in the store out. "Fuck this I'm going" said Naruto as he left the store.
"Naruto wait!" yelled Sakura as she approached the blonde, but unfortunately Naruto already body flickered away. "Damn it we lost him" said Sasuke. Sakura closed her eyes 'where are you Naruto' thought the as she used her Observation Haki to locate the blonde.
"What's going on here?" said one Hinata Hyūga "Naruto knocked out an entire store" said Sasuke"and we're trying to find him" Hinata frowned as she sensed the negative emotions with her Haki "Look Naruto will be found when he wants to be found" Kiba raised his eyebrow "and you know this how?" Hinata smiled sweetly at the feral boy "Kiba be a good boy and shut up" Kiba nodded behind Shino.
"Naruto's at his loft" said Shino. "Do you know where it is?" asked Sakura. "It's northwest from here" said Shino Sakura thanked Shino as her and Sasuke body flickered to Naruto's Loft. "Come on even Sakura knows the body flicker? Why doesn't Kurenai- sensei teach us that jutsu?" whined Kiba. "It will be very illogical for our logical sensei to teach you the jutsu, while you haven't mastered the 'Water Walking' exercise" calmly said Shino. Kiba growled "Back me up Hinata" the Hyūga princess rolled her eyes "Don't bring me into your stupid arguments"
Naruto's Loft
"Naruto was rolling his blunt when someone knocked on his door "What do you want?" said a pissed Naruto. "Naruto we just wanted to check up on you" said Sakura, as Sasuke nodded behind her. Naruto sighed "Look guys I'm fine alright? I'm used to this" Sakura got angry "No Naruto your not okay, and I'm not leaving until I learn why does everyone in the village have it out for you"
Naruto groaned in frustration, "God you're annoying, come in it's gonna rain soon" Sakura and Sasuke took off their sandals. "Nice place loser" said Sasuke as he looked at Naruto's home. "You wanna know why the villagers hate me?" said Naruto. Meanwhile Sarutobi was watching on his projection ball. Sakura and Sasuke nodded "Remember the village wide rat infestation a few years ago?" asked the blonde. The two teens nodded "I was the one that caused it" nonchalantly said Naruto. "That was you!?" shouted an enraged Sasuke, "do you have any idea how much food got eaten by rats?" Sakura held her boyfriend's hand as Sasuke chewed Naruto out.
"Speaking of food, is anyone hungry?" said Naruto. "I could eat" chirped Sakura "Duckass?" asked Naruto. Sasuke nodded. "Great! Let's go" said Naruto as he wore his hoodie.
Ichiraku Ramen
Team 7 body flickered outside the restaurant "Hope you guys like ramen." said Naruto as they entered the restaurant. "Hey Champ!" called out one of the patrons. Naruto waved as he sat down, "Hey Naruto!" chirped Ayame. Ayame Ichiraku was the daughter of Teuchi the owner of the restaurant. Ayame was a woman in her early twenties, brown hair tied into a ponytail and big black eyes.
"Hey Ayame long time no see" said Naruto "These are my teammates Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha." Sakura politely waved and Sasuke grunted. "I'll have the beef ramen" said Sakura "Chicken with extra tomatoes" said the avenger. "Coming right up" said Ayame.
"What about you Naruto?" asked Sakura. Naruto lit up a cigarette "My order needs a little more time" Sasuke raised an eyebrow "What do you mean more time?" asked the avenger. "You'll see." said Naruto with a smirk. "Nice to see you again Champ" said a gruff voice.
"Old man its been a while" said Naruto as he greeted the owner. "I haven't seen you in three months, I was thinking that you forgot about us" said Teuchi. "You guys have done a lot for me, I won't forget you easily" As Teuchi and Naruto were talking Sakura saw a photo of a young Naruto in what seemed like a boxing match. "Hey Naruto, when was this?" asked Sakura. Teuchi smiled "That young lady was three years ago, when Naruto made history" Sasuke raised an eyebrow "What happened?" Naruto threw his cigarette on the ground "That's the night I became the youngest boxing champion." Sasuke frowned "I call bullshit, how come no one's ever heard of it.
Teuchi frowned "Certain higher ups blocked the news from spreading" said Naruto "Order up!" said Ayame as she gave Sakura and Sasuke their ramen. "And here's yours Naruto" chirped Ayame as she placed a dozen bowls of ramen in front of the blonde. Naruto had a grin on his face "This is why Duckass" said Naruto before he quickly and politely devoured his meal.
"That. Was. Awesome" said a full Naruto. Sakura nodded in agreement and Sasuke had a look of satisfaction on his face. Naruto paid the bill and said goodbye to the Ichirakus. "Thanks for the ramen Naruto" said Sakura Naruto shrugged "it's nothing, see you guys tomorrow" as the blonde body flickered away from the couple.
Konoha South Gate- Next Morning
"Alright team this is Tetsuo Musashi and he is our client, our mission is to protect him until we get to Iron Country" said Kakashi as he introduced the client. Tetsuo Musashi was a slender man with a narrow face with narrow black eyes and his hair was tied into a bun.
A few hours later on the road Naruto felt killing intent coming from the forest. Naruto looked at his teammates, with a nod team 7 subtly took a defensive formation around Tetsuo.
A few moments later a kunai with an exploding tag was thrown on the ground in front of team 7. 'Earth style: Mud Wall' a wall of earth protected the group from the explosion. Kakashi made three shadow clones that quickly surrounded Tetsuo "You three go find the ones responsible and capture them if possible" said Kakashi. With a nod the genin scattered into the forest surrounding them.
Sasuke
As Sasuke was jumping through the forest he was bombarded by a barrage of shuriken. The avenger quickly replaced himself with a log as he faced down his opponent. "Well lookie here a competent genin, that's something you don't see everyday" said a cloaked figure.
'This guy is perfect to test myself against' thought the avenger. 'Fire style: Grand Fireball jutsu' a giant fireball headed towards the cloaked man. The man dodged the jutsu, but as he dodged Sasuke hit the man with a vicious roundhouse kick to the face from the man's blindside. 'Shit this kid is good' thought the man as he shook off Sasuke's kick. The man quickly appeared in front of Sasuke and hit him with a vicious uppercut. "You know kid I'm impressed but this is the end" said the man while making handsigns. While the man was making his handsigns 'Sasuke' exploded turning the area ablaze.
Sakura
The pink-haired kunoichi was currently engaged in a vicious taijutsu fight with a masked figure. Sakura delivered a brutal roundhouse kick to the figure's face causing their neck to snap, killing them instantly.
Sakura felt relieved and very nauseous, because she just had her first kill. As Sakura was dealing with her first kill, she was mule kicked by the figure. "How are you still alive? I killed you" said Sakura in shock. "Lightning style: Lightning Strike" answered the figure as lightning shot from her fingers. Sakura body flickered away from the figure's line of fire. 'Earth style: Earth Flow River' the the area was turned into a river of mud by the pink-haired kunoichi. The figure was trapped by the thick mud, as Sakura hardened her arms, her Armament Haki coating them with a black metallic substance with a light pink shade.
Naruto
The blonde landed on a clearing drawing two kunai as he stared at his opponent. The figure drew their ninjato as they proceeded to clash with the blonde. Sparks were flying as kunai met ninjato, Naruto replaced himself with a log as the figure attacked with a brutal horizontal slash that cut the log in half.
'Wind style: Howling Gale' a powerful gale hit the figure causing them to hit a tree. Naruto body flickered to the figure with a vicious barrage of kenjutsu attacks 'Time to end this' thought Naruto as he sheathed Wado Ichimonji. The figure was getting their bearings when their right arm was severed from the shoulder. 'Shit I haven't mastered this move' thought an annoyed Naruto. The blonde looked at the figure, the figure formed one handed signs and spat out a large wave of water at the blonde.
Kakashi
As the sounds of combat surrounded the area, the masked jônin was reading his favourite book "Uhm, shouldn't you be helping your students?" asked Tetsuo. "They'll be fine" nonchalantly said Kakashi.
The sound of shadow clones being dispelled put the two on edge. "Well, well Kakashi Hatake I never thought I'd meet you in person" said a female voice. Kakashi looked up from his book "I'm sorry I don't know who you are" said Kakashi. The cloaked kunoichi smirked "You don't know me, but we know a lot about you" Kakashi raised an eyebrow "That's a little creepy"
"Now Kakashi be a dear and hand over that man over there" sweetly said the kunoichi. "That's gonna be a n-" Kakashi was interrupted by a kick to the face from the kunoichi. 'Kakashi' popped in smoke, and the kunoichi was sent flying by a vicious kick in the back by Kakashi. 'Earth style: Quicksand freeze' the kunoichi sunk into the earth as the jutsu trapped her. "Now let's see who you are" said Kakashi, as the masked jônin was about to remove the hood covering the kunoichi Kakashi jumped back as the kunoichi exploded. "You're slipping Kakashi I thought you'd realise that you were fighting a clone" laughed the kunoichi as she charged at the masked jônin.
Sasuke
'Fire style: Fire Trident Jutsu' a trident of fire was hurled at the mysterious man who replaced himself with a log. The two ninja began a vicious taijutsu fight with the man quickly winning. 'Guess I'll have to use this' thought Sasuke as he activated his Sharingan. The man made the mistake of looking into Sasuke's crimson orbs as he was caught in the avenger's genjutsu. 'I can't move!' thought the man. Sasuke's arms were covered in a black metallic armour with a dark blue shade. 'This brat can use Haki!?' thought the man in shock. Sasuke proceeded to punch the man to death. The avenger was breathing hard as he looked at the man's corpse, the man had black hair with a bang covering his right eye. 'One more step to killing you' thought Sasuke as he body flickered away from the area.
On a tree a figure was watching the battle 'An Uchiha this strong at such a young age, can he be his brother? Nevertheless the others need to know about this development' thought the figure as they vanished leaving behind sparks of electricity where they stood.
Sakura
Sakura charged at the figure intending to finish the battle, as her fist met the figure's face, the figure dissolved into mud. 'Earth Clone!' thought Sakura as she was put on the defensive against the figure's relentless taijutsu strikes. The pink-haired kunoichi replaced herself with a log covered in exploding tags 'Earth style: Earth Dragon Jutsu' the figure was dodging the earth dragon's bullets as Sakura wrapped her arms around the figure's head snapping their neck. The pink-haired kunoichi removed the figure's mask revealing a very handsome young man with orange braids and turquoise eyes. Sakura made a few handsigns 'Fire style: Grand Fireball jutsu' as the fire jutsu burned the corpse into ash, after Sakura stopped her jutsu, she threw her kunai at a nearby tree. When the pink-haired kunoichi looked at where her kunai landed she saw no one there 'But I swore someone was there' thought the pink-haired young woman as she body flickered away.
'Shit that was close! But to be able to sense me is a sign that this girl will be a problem in the future, the others need to know about this' thought the figure as they melted into the ground.
Naruto
'This does not look good' thought Naruto as he looked at the incoming wave of water heading for him. Naruto quickly jumped to the highest branch as the clearing was turned into a lake 'Water style: Water Dragon jutsu' a massive dragon of water launched at the blonde and proceeded to take him underwater. The figure breathed a sigh of relief thinking that the blonde drowned, 'Water Style: Water Prison jutsu' a bubble of water trapped the figure. Naruto looked at the figure inside the bubble with a bored expression "Well Kakashi said capture, I hope for your sake that you have good information" Naruto then made a couple of handsigns 'Ice Realease: Frozen Breath' the blonde blew out a freezing wind that froze the water prison.
Naruto body flickered away from the area, as a figure appeared 'An Ice Realease user in Konoha!? That's something you don't see everyday, the others have to know about this' thought the figure as they body flickered away not noticing a bird that popped into smoke.
Kakashi
'Lightning style: Wolf Pack' a dozen wolves made of lighting charged at the masked kunoichi. The kunoichi skillfully dodged the wolves, unfortunately for her the wolves kept attacking. Kakashi quickly made handsigns 'Earth style: Earth Worm jutsu' a large worm of earth slithered towards the distracted kunoichi. The masked kunoichi put her palms on the ground 'Explosion Release: Ground Zero' the area around the kunoichi was caught in a massive explosion. "Oops, guess I went a little to far I hope our little friend is still alive" said the kunoichi. As the kunoichi was about to leave she was punched so hard that her mask shattered, afterwards she was blown away by a violent wind colliding with a nearby tree breaking her spine.
"It's been a while since I used my Haki in combat" said a yawning Kakashi. The smoke cleared revealing the unmasked kunoichi, Kakashi's eye widened "Izumi?" The now revealed Izumi looked at the masked jônin with hatred in her eyes. Izumi had a heart shaped face, onyx eyes and long black hair. "Izumi how did you survive the massacre?" asked Kakashi. Izumi was about to answer when a figure came from the shadows "Sorry to cut your reunion short but we're on a tight schedule" said the figure as they disappeared with an injured Izumi.
"Why can't we have a peaceful mission?" said Kakashi a sigh. "Are you alright Tetsuo?" asked the masked jônin. Tetsuo nodded "Thank you Kakashi for protecting my life" said Tetsuo with a bow. "You don't have to bow, considering your reputation" said Kakashi. Tetsuo frowned "I left the life of combat years ago"
Three figures appeared in front of the duo "Mission accomplished Kakashi" said Naruto as team 7 returned from their separate battles. Kakashi looked at the ice dome "Is the enemy captured?" Naruto nodded as he released the jutsu, revealing a shivering figure. Sakura took off the figure's cloack revealing a very beautiful young woman with long brown hair and rose pink eyes, wearing a form fitting short sleeved turtle neck shirt, ankle length form fitting pants with high heeled sandals. "Hanako-sama!?" gasped Tetsuo.
