Lying back on her cot, Suki slowly blew out a breath, imagining her chi infusing it in swirls of heated air that slowly rose to the ceiling. She'd finally fully healed from her encounter in the showers, though mentally was another matter. She'd been having dreams ever since, the woman's dead eyes endlessly staring at her.

The door to her cell opened, and her eyes darted to the male guard who entered. Immediately, alarm bells began ringing in her head. He didn't announce his presence. Male guards never enter the cells unannounced without a female escort. "What is it?" She sat up on her cot, hand inching towards the shards of sharpened steel that she'd hid underneath there. It'd be hell to pay if she was caught with them, or if she did actually attack him, but there was no way that she was going to suffer any outrages "Did I do something wrong?"

"You mean that you don't recognize me?" His tone of voice sounded mildly offended, and her eyes narrowed. His accent sounds off - I don't recognize it. And he isn't as built as most of the other male guards.

"You people all look the same to me." She looked to the side, keeping an eye on him watching for any sudden movement. Her hand slipped beneath the cot, and she felt the rough linen and silk wrapping around her improvised knives.

A smirk crossed his face, and her stomach instantly fell. "Oh? Well, then maybe you'll recognize this. " He leaned forward, lips pursed and making kissing noises. Oh, he is asking for it.

Suki drew a blade and vaulted off of her cot, kicking him in the chest and knocking him back to the wall. As he slammed into it, she rushed forward and brought the knife up to his throat. "Oh, I recognize the attitude, all right. I've seen it all before." At this shocked silence, her other hand came up and slammed him back into the wall again. His helmet fell off of his head and she stared venomously into startled blue eyes. "Sokka?" She dropped the knife and hugged him, throwing her arms around him without hesitation. "It's you. You're here." She murmured into his chest, relief nearly overcoming her. I'm getting out of here. I'm really getting out of here. What's a Fire Nation prison to the Avatar? ...I hope that Appa managed to find Aang.

"The other Kyoshi Warriors, are they here?" Sokka held her back from him, looking in her eyes.

Suki wiped her eyes, getting rid of any sign of her tears. "No, they're not here." She let a little bit of her worry for her sisters leak through. "Last I heard they were being held in a prisoner of war camp in the colonies, but I don't know if that changed. Azula told me that they got moved, but I got put in here because I'm the leader."

"Well, you won't be in here for long." He placed a hand on her face, and she let herself lean into it for a second before she brushed it off. She couldn't read the confused look on his face, so she chose to ignore it. "Come on, I'm busting you out."

"I'm really glad that you guys came to get me out, Sokka. How did you even know that I was here? Did Appa ever find Aang?" She busied herself in collecting her knives, ignoring Sokka's startled look at her contraband. Turning after collecting them, she smiled at him, waiting for him to answer her flood of questions.

He looked at her, eyes soft and vulnerable. "I kinda expected you to be happier to see me?"

"Of course I'm happy to see you, Sokka. I just can't believe that you came for me. This is incredibly irresponsible of you." She leaned over and kissed his cheek, knives securely secreted on her person. "But thank you. So what's the plan? Where's Aang and Katara?"

Sokka's face lights up in a blush as a knocking on the door interrupts his answer. He bends down to grab his helmet and put it on, putting a finger to her lips. A scowl forms beneath his finger before she hears muffled voices from outside the cell. A female voice Katara? shouts "Hey! Hey! What are you doing?" Sokka motions for her to stay quiet as he cracks the door and sees something that sets him off, as he takes a moment to breathe deeply before slipping out of the cell. The yelling outside of her cell continues, and Suki stands in front of the slit in her door, trying to see what she could. "Guard, help! I think that he's an imposter!" She sees Sokka cringe and turn to help take down the other guard, the one that the female guard claims is an imposter. "Get him off me and arrest him!"

She's surprised to hear Sokka announce to the other guard that he's arrested, but she figures that he must have had a plan. Kyoshi, Sokka, if you don't have a plan I'm going to smack you.
