Where could he be? Suki's eyes scanned the crowd for the distinctive mop and scar of the fire Nation prince. We're not leaving without him, but we need to leave soon. This riot can't last forever. A wave of relief passed over her as he came into view, though it was mitigated somewhat by the melancholic look on his face. Sokka slapped the back of his shoulder as he slid up to them beside the wall that they'd taken shelter from the riot underneath.

"Zuko, good. We're all here. Now, all we need to do is grab the warden and get to the gondolas." He capped off his statement by pointing at one of the nearby towers, where the Warden was yelling commands at the guards.

Zuko's raspy voice managed to cut through the din surrounding them. "And how do we do that?"

Before she could hear Sokka's response, she rolled her eyes and took a deep breath. Non-combat, mobility only. You can do this, girl. With a mental push, chi thrummed through her limbs and suddenly she was filled to bursting with nervous energy, and she took off like an earthbender's launched stone.

Foot on the wall, hop onto the shoulders of- got it. Suki plotted out her journey as she went, hopping from shoulder to head to shoulder again as she made her way over the crowd towards the Warden's tower. She did her best to ignore the rising smell of spilled blood, and the prisoner's uniforms were splashed with more blood than she was comfortable with dwelling on. She hadn't quite done this sort of thing before, but she found that her balance was uncanny, almost as if she could unconsciously sense minute changes in the prisoner's bodies and adjust without needing to think about it. Absentmindedly, she leapt a dozen feet between thrashing bodies (and far too-still bodies sprawled out on the ground) when the man who would have served as her stepping point had a head full of greasy hair. Guess that he's not a firebender, that's for sure. Setting your own hair aflame would be awful.

With a final leap that threw her footstool off of his feet, she impacted the solid steel of the wall of the tower. Scrabbling fingers sought out imperfections in the steel; rivets and imperfect joins that'd provide adequate traction. She held on with the very tips of her fingers as she quickly conquered the tower's heights, and her mind could scarcely process it. Guanyin's mercy, did I really just do that? The girls back home won't believe this...

Reaching the top of the wall, she flung herself backwards off of it, trusting in herself, and her feet hooked around one of the walkway supports, and she used the leftover momentum to fling herself up and over onto the walkway in a single smooth motion. A guard threw fire at her, and she narrowly flipped over it before charging after him, punching in a straight line up his torso: solar plexus, mid-sternum and throat. He reeled over, curling into a ball as she smirked. Yeah, that's right. Badass over here.

Another pair of guards turned the corner and charged at her. She rushed them, sliding beneath the high kick of the first and upending him by grabbing and lifting his supporting ankle as she slid past him. She completely ignored the second beyond hopping over his fire blast and onto the railing before climbing the nearly sheer surface again to the highest level of the tower, fingers seemingly finding minute grips all on their own.

Throwing herself over the rails of the balcony, she slid past the single guard standing between her and the Warden himself, taking him out at the ankles as she approached her target. Nabbing and locking the Warden's wrist as she rose, she held her other hand in front of his face in a fist, satisfied smile on her face.

"You wouldn't dare." He sneered, contempt written across his face.

Want to bet? Forcing his turn with a wrench of his captured arm, she whipped off her leather belt with her other hand and quickly wrapped it around his wrists, binding them behind him. A quick tug and turn brought his headband down and flipped, the rough metal at the nape of his head and the sweaty knot settled into his mouth.

"Sorry Warden." She said, not sounding sorry at all as she tightened the sweat-drenched silk of the headband's tie. "But you're my prisoner now." She slammed him into the wall face first and took a quick moment to breathe in the sweet smell of triumph. Sweat, blood, cold smoke and the stench of sulphur in the air. Sweet freedom, I guess.

She heard the clatter of footsteps approaching, and pushed him tighter against the wall, prompting some pained moaning, but she relented when she saw that it was her fellow group of escapees. "We've captured the Warden. I'd say that it's high time that we got out of here, wouldn't you?"

Hakoda looked at her disbelievingly, clutching his stomach as he desperately tried to catch his breath. "That's some girl."

"Tell me about it." Sokka and Zuko looked at each other, having spoken at the same time, and exchanged a Look. Hakoda raised an eyebrow at the boys, but let it go as she passed the Warden off to Chit Sang. He easily hefted him over one shoulder and motioned with his head for the younger kids to go first. Suki nodded and took off, Sokka and Zuko flanking her as they ran up the final flight of stairs to the gondola at the top of the prison.
