I was sitting on Artemis' pristine couch. He'd hired an interior decorator.
"We have a problem." I sighed.
"Can it wait?" Artemis asked. "I'm hiring a butler."
"What about Butler?" I asked. "Won't he be offended?"
Artemis laughed. "Well what am I to do?"
"You can't have a servant here." I pointed out. "You don't really exist! They cant protect and serve without outing you!"
"Again. What am I to do?"
I deadpanned. "Take care of yourself."
"I don't know how to—"
I got up. "I'll help you with food and stuff, and I'll protect you as best I can. But as for dressing and bathing, that's all you."
Indignant, Artemis stood. "I can bathe and dress myself!"
I stretched and yawned. "Suuuuure."
There was a boom outside. We went to the window.
Outside was a large sinkhole. I looked inside and my heart sank.
Artemis groaned. "A fairy shuttle…"
