Kuri stretched. "Shall I depart?"

Artemis smiled his best evil smile. "I'm never letting you go."

Kuri stood, looking over at Butler. "I see. So that's how it is." She looked up at Butler. "I'm sorry then."

Kuri got in a strange, circular fighting position. Butler recognized it, and took an involuntary step back.

"Butler?" Artemis' eyes were wide in shock.

"Tell me, child, can you do—" She activated a rune, and it struck Butler, binding him in glowing spirit chains. "THIS yet?"

Artemis just stared, struck speechless.

Kuri snapped her fingers, and Windcarver appeared. "When you play poker…make sure you've got the—" she rose into the air. "Winning hand." She lowered herself to his level. "Arty, beware. War games are dangerous." She kissed him.

Artemis grabbed her and kissed her hard and fast. "I'm not afraid." He smirked.

Kuri quickly broke free, staring at him, and then touched his cheek with surprising tenderness. "Until we meet again, Artemis Orion Fowl II. I'll remember you. There was no lie…in my kiss."

Flying off, Kuri touched her lips. Artemis touched his as well, then realized something.

"My name is not Orion!" He cried angrily to the sky.
