I hummed a bit of a tune as I searched for the remainder of my notes. Saito had a habit of using wind to blow by notes out of reach.

Well, to be fair, this time it was because I had stolen his favorite book from the archives..

The cold wind brushed away my ornate hair and I wondered again if it might snow today. It was cold, although this was the sort of weather that felt best to me.

I was avoiding the Elrics. They were having their welcome now, and I couldn't bear to hear more about my Nina. Not to mention the link I felt between me and Edward.

I shook my head. No. I couldn't go there again. His golden eyes…burning like the sun. I reached up to shield my eyes at the thought.

I left the Order often by myself. Sometimes I wandered off, in search of something unfamiliar.

I was interrupted in my quest for lore nots by something hard hitting her on the head.

"Well," I said softly. "That certainly isn't snow."

I looked down and saw a small pocketwatch.

"Again?" I hummed the question as I picked it up.

"Oi! Priestess!" Ed ran over. "Avoiding me, eh?"

"I wasn't—"

"Now Al!" A cage formed around me.

I smirked. Really?

"Now I have you!" Ed glared at me through the the bars.

"Brother…you're talking like a bad guy again!" Al groaned.

I placed my hand on top of the cage. "Seems sturdy. I tapped the rune on my chest. "BUI-MU-KU! Release!"

The cage snapped, and I turned away and headed off to the compound gate, but not before releasing a barrage of arrow. Laughing, I waved as I entered the Order.

Suckers.
