Well as you can all assume we were divided to take decisions in rescuing Nico as it would lead us to trap and all were not too much sure that Bacchus would help us, I mean his team the Maenads were famous for tearing apart the unbelievers with bare hands. And he would probably turn people into insanity but though I am sure everyone of Camp Half blood would believe that their grumpy, less than welcome camp director who was forced to tolerate children barely would help us well we were not billionaire to pay up but we kept the idea in our minds for later.

Well Tyche wasn't with us or was unable to help due to incapcitation between sides well in the said location we faced a monster well a mega monster which was eager to drown our ship attacking with nose -hair well according to Leo.

Well I would better say Shrimpzilla I wonder if Keto and Porchys have also managed to give birth this thing using their powers of course. I mean they were seemingly too kind to become the parents of The stony Medusa, Stheno, Euryale and Ladon, Echidna. And something fishy is going on with the trio Hazel, Frank and Leo well Coach hedge has been telling that Leo was looking at Hazel's eyes you know it's awkward as Frank is Hazel's boyfriend and all this. I wonder that Hazel might have some connections with Leo I mean her shocked reaction to first sight of Leo was enough evidence about it. And probably they shared a flashback with Hazel's party and Leo also knows her past how ironic it might be well I won't interfere in others lives unless the person himself comes to me it's rude you know.

Well the monster captured Piper with nostrils and Jason tried to free her and Leo told Hazel to throw 'WARNING DON'T OPEN' and later Leo, Hazel and an unconcious Frank went down the sea, I immediately tensed and thought of ways to contact with the fish centaurs or better to say icthiyocentaurs who are also the sons of Kronos and Phylira the nymph and probably took pity on them as they are allowed to sea unlike Chiron their own brother. Well I figured their might be some sea politics going on there see, I was not associated with Triton like close brother ,heck I have met with him and his mom when I accidentally sunk the zombie ship The Princess Andromeda, well after failing Charles Becendrof I know he didn't blame me for his death but still with the grief and the uncermonious attack of Oceanus well I can realise that it was a event of millennia as the eldest son of Ouranos and Gaea never aided his younger brother in taking down Ouranos nor did he joined against gods in first titan war rather than he and Themis had taken good care of Hera in raising and I don't know might have adored her too much to turn her into a crazed queen who only cares for her perfect family well never mind stupid ADHD.

Well I have added to do list after the war hoping we would survive that I would make sure to maintain good relationship with the royal Atlantis family despite they would show many insults and all those. Well it would take time but if you can befriend to Triton then you are welcome anywhere and everywhere well of course not in the depths of seas where even my father even doesn't rule much less Triton or in Sea of Monsters where no one rules particularly but only an alien association of dangerous mythological beings.

Well they I mean the trio have returned from sea underwater and recounted their story and they would take a good care of the aquarium in Atlanta, would help us to protect the Argo-2 so that we can cross the Atlantic Ocean safely. Sadly Nico,my cousin had only 2 days left according to the fish-centaurs. Well Annabeth had received a coin saying ΑΘΕ with an owl emblem, the disc which she received amid the spider chaos in Fort Sumtar which had weird marks could be seen by only Athena children and she described with the help of Jason despite the Roman-Greek difference that Athena Parthenos is most valuable statue of Athena standing in the middle of Athena Parthenon when Romans took over and ransacked Athens they took the forty foot tall ivory and gold covered and Romans stole it in cart, hid her in the underground shine of Rome so that her statue never see the daylight and thus Athena became the craft godess with weaponry a tamer version of her Greek counterpart and Bellona was assigned as war godess. I think the Romans forgot many Greek goddesses as Bellona was exact Roman counterpart of Enyo the daughter of Zeus and consort of Ares whom the Romans claimed to be her the only pure Roman well the Romans threw a spear overboard the temple column to declare on different states and near the temple the ambassadors of other states were destined to stay and of course it was where they claimed to the war column and often sacrificed human and drank blood from enemies. Well Reyna, Hylla are the daughters of Bellona.

Well after that we met douchebag Hercules in the Rock of Gibraltar guarding the Mare Nostrum the ancient lands to prevent any danger ,serves him right but he is a god we kept it in mind. Well Jason and Piper went to him to get the free pass which was most diplomatic according to Annabeth. I mean if I would go there I would be infuriated to see the person who just cheated on Zoe I know we were not all buddy buddy but Zoe before her final breath made friend's with me and probably I am the only male she considered worthy, heck even she was sure that Riptide ended up in good hands. Well later when Jason and Piper touched the deck burying the greatest demigod of all time in the mounts of Corncupia supplied foods I sent ten foot tall wave against the shore knocking him for second time in a cascade of seawater and pineapples and I felt sorry for Achelous the famous river god who fought against Heracles to marry Deianira in bull form and the river god lost his one bull horn to the overpowered jerk and Piper had collected it in self defence well I was happy that they didn't sacrifice it to the hero.

Well after killing stymphallian birds and all in sleep I had a dream about the twin giants, they were talking with the Ladyship aka Arachne how she made the woven jail in her risks and how after Gaea takes over they would roam freely and would not guard the Athena Parthenos well just usual villianish talking. They mentioned we would be facing 'The Golden Boy' before reaching Rome I wonder who would be the person sure he would be related to sea like some powerful sea god or something.

Well we had to stop as we were about to collide with another trireme with Black sails painted in gorgon's head, hulking warriors, not quite humans, crowed in the front of the boat in Greek armour, swords and spears ready and a bronze ram at water level, slamming against the hull if the Argo-2 and me and Annabeth were thrown overboard. Well Festus blew fire and smoke terrifying dozens of humanoid mercenaries but more swarmed abroad our sea. I wonder among them 'golden boy' should be present well if my mythology memory serves right I mean after surviving the first quest where I didn't know half of mythological beings who were mostly monsters I made a vow to myself to read the exact stories of them. Like in this readings I made a diary containing the beings and their origins. Well you can remember via sir Rick Riordan's (I should not have said that the monsters would pursue him or others) 'The Battle of Labyrinth' book that we , Annabeth, Nico, Grover, Tyson have encountered the Triple G Runch well it was Geryon's layer you know where I had stabbed an arrow with the help of my one of the least favorite godess Hera. Well I observed the history of Geryon to know the infamous cattle which I encountered and all. Geryon's mother was Callirhoe and father was Chryasor the guy who appeared after my namesake severed the neck of sleeping Medusa with winged Pegasus the original. Well Chryasor only him met with the golden boy description as he was often told in mythology to be golden clad but some say him holding golden swords meaning he was great at swordsman ship and probably got too much gold from the looting in Mare Nostrum in eons.

Well in swift motion he just disarmed me our ship was full with humanoid wait dolphin like you know someone turned you from outside like a dolphin and it didn't work probably. Well sure Chryasor told us about ransacking our ship just great and bragged about his mercenaries not fearing anybody except one who was not present and to send myself and Annabeth to the earth mother in anyway to spill our blood.

Well I engaged in battle with him but probably for his eons of practice or sea advantage or my nervousness I would not know he managed to disarm me again by the time Leo was half unconscious grunting, Piper fainted after wailing loudly , Hazel was thrashing like having a fit.

Chryasor was fuming by Annabeth's mention of him having accent similar to his deceased mother twice killed by two different Perseus, the Gorgon Medusa.

Well I connected the dots in time to recognise the dolphin men to be cursed by Dinosyus as non believers sailors. I tricked them in saying that our captain of ship is none other than the god himself as he runs the camps but sadly Chryasor knew it so plan B, in my pointed glare Hazel and Piper who were normal in my pointed glare started to thrashing and shambling as if to show they were being affected by the wine god's maddening aura and the dolphin men flinched.

Well I managed to get a diet coke can from ice and told them as Frank was being transformed into dolphin upon my direction of course.

Well later they left one by one leaving weapons, forgetting captives ignoring the orders of Chryasor too busy in saving themselves to pillage our ship. Well by the time Frank who was now a big grizzly bear swatted away Chryasor who was trying to give us another turn of his villian monologue well then after few hours we settled and all crew recovered and coach Hedge kept breaking everything he could in the enemy's ship, enemies weapons also were at the trireme,the pirates never came to return the ship.

Then I did a thing even myself can't believe doing this but you know circumstances make you do many things. Just like I left according to Hazel ,six million dollars worth gold with diamonds to the trireme , I said holding up Chryasor's golden mask which Frank managed to snatch up from him when he was busy trying to get away from bear-Frank and our grasp, well I said, "Dionysus Or Bacchus-whatever. You made this victory possible, even if you weren't here. Your enemies trembled at your name... or your diet coke or something. So yeah thank you."

Well if you guys think Percy Jackson saying too much good words to Dionysus and awed then in last sentence you would faint. "We give this ship to you as tribute. We hope you like it". When I threw the golden mask abroad the vessel, which was then sinking even faster,brown fuzzy liquid spewing out of the trireme's oar slots and bubbling from the cargo hold, turning the sea frothy brown.

Well I summoned a wave the enemy's ship was swamped and into the underwater, hoping grumpy Mr D. Has gotten it because he is our greatest tribute.

In all those miseries of current quest and previous quests I have not forgotten to pray to my heroine Artemis many times even I have lost count. I wonder what has kept my prayers to reach to her.

And if she received even being the man hating godess she is she could not be sane. Well I thought how she might be doing in these mind splitting thing. Well you can call me hypocrite that 'Percy Jackson has already a girlfriend yet he is keeping his eyes strained for a man-hating godess, ha' but believe me it's not like that or until the time. But hey I would not jinx it saying 'I love Artemis' towards the open sky at night ya know my prayers might not be accepted but to blackmail me it would be a taboo and for that my second favourite godess in Olympians would be angry with me and my jwels would be missing ya know, thank you very much I would not do it. And due to the bloody Athena Parthenos well of course I am sure the history of the statue is bloody even now as the twin giants had made alliance with the Ladyship for hundreds of years and from the time they had been killing Athena descendants who were searching their mom's emblem and the purple hair of the giants were adorned with the coins similar to the coin Annabeth received from her favourite mom in Grand Central upon seeing off my parents in my six months disappearance gods it is so weird.

Well speaking of Annabeth she had not become distant from me, for she was constantly ignoring her foods even my 'hair is on fire' was ignored by her, I mean I can understand her situation she would be going towards her impending doom if only one wrong step happened.

Well I hoped the twins and Arachne were in different spots well giants were not simple laistrygonian but they had planned to destroy Rome with their supplies. Well in time of going to sleep I keep on thinking of my fighting against my half brother Chryasor who would have easily killed me or in other words I was hopelessly outmatched I take it he had eons of practice but it's matter of my own survival.

I have completed many quests , I have done many heroic yet stupid things you people even in camp who know me would think I am sort of hero well if you listen to me, I am nobody who is never complete without the others help he could receive. And as being called a hero I can assure you every hero even the greatest hero of all time Hercules has to agree with me that without help he is nobody or in other sense just a normal person. I know Hercules would never admit but who cares when I have known Zoe Nightshade as my friend.

Well I was awakened by Jason whose bruises on his face had faded, he said, "Hey man, we are descending over Rome. You really should see this". Well here goes nothing. The Rome which was spread through hills and valleys, jumped over the Tiber with dozens of bridges and just kept sprawling to the horizon as if not having regard , in other words I have lived in big cities like Manhattan, gone to los Angeles, San Francisco before but believe me, the sheer vastness of Rome grabbed me by the throat and made me hard to breathe. Anatole Broyard had said perfectly

Well nevermind the streets and alleys zigzagged with no rhyme or reason through quilts of neighborhoods. Glass office buildings stood next to excavation sites. A cathedral stood next to a line of Roman colums which stood next to a modern soccer stadium.

Well Nico has until sunset but Hazel could not exactly pinpoint his location with Hades children connection.

The mysterious trio well they got more unpredictable after the drop in the fish-centaurs territory whatever the heck happened. Well Frank Hazel, Leo went together as the duo would need help of the repair boy much to Frank's dismay according to Nemesis.

Well I decided to see off Annabeth to Tiberinus wherever he was and to meet at three afternoon. Well I don't know guys despite the heavy tension in air that if we didn't stop the twin giants from their little celebration or didn't rescue Nico he would be dead or the Lars probably some nymph or godess who was twirling dagger we were being watched , I enjoyed to be in the beauty of Rome and to be here with Annabeth made me think about a dream which might be never persued by us I became nostalgic or romantic I would not know.

Well even mortals seemed strangers in the situation, well some dozens of guys in cheap gladiator costume and with plastic swords and batons were shuffling with police I wonder those fools might have auditioned in the shows of Ephialtes and Otis.

Oh well we went to west nearing the Tiber river asking people about directions. Long story short Annabeth produced an international credit card from typing in Daedalus's laptop I wonder if a thief had gotten it then they would be billionaire or make own government but again he/she should have the permission of the creator of laptop or at least a demigod.

Well after ordering pizza and coke we saw a weird couple well first thing about them was suspicious was their aura how I know it I can't describe quite well.

One of them definitely a god and other one was a mortal but something like made her special otherwise they would not come in same scooter in 1950s filmy fashion. Well the god was none other than the Tiberinus where the woman was the great mother of Romulus and Remus who was a Vestal virgin under the king Ameilus but despite trying to hide many times was raped by Mars who promised her children to be great in future sure the king was not happy with her becoming pregnant neither was the godess Vesta whose usual calm demanor changed she didn't act harshly but she put out the sacred flames in the altars shaking it, and in statue she closed her eyes. Well the king ordered his servants to kill the children but the servant left them afloating them by River Tiber and they were accepted wholeheartedly by the she wolf Lupa who had lost her pups recently and suckled them . Well some say Rhea Silvia was assassinated some say she gave her life in drowning herself to the river Tiber. I wonder if she came back via door of death or somehow turned immortal by sheer popularity, otherwise.

Well rhea of course said the answer as she was saved by the river god and he married her and ever since she was ruling the river kingdom with the god. Well after Annabeth left I started running towards Argo-2 as according to Tiberinus we had less time to rescue Nico than we anticipated.

We meaning I , Jason,Piper went to the old Forum which was showed by Kaloptropis well speaking of the dagger the Roman demigods under the supervision of Octavian had reached Manhattan they had got the maps probably searching for invasion routes.

Well Piper left her dagger in the ship probably not wanting to be distracted by the vision. Well overlooking the hillside well according to the dagger it said to be us there drowning oh again me a son of Poseidon drowning well I would have laughed at your face or something but now I know I can only control mostly water bodies not liquids like Lord Pontus or his blessed Tharros the mysterious guy who of course, had to be a son of Poseidon could control any liquids oh that's so unfair if I meet with the guy I would learn from him in anyway.

Well in the matter I ventured first , I didn't notice any water body which is just weird in the quest like this well I saw if someone managed to capture us there in the deep there were no exits.

Well I am now sure Tyche was surely incapacitated into Fortuna and could not serve us in any condition as we heard sound of fountain but we definitely didn't notice any water bodies and I could smell the sea well you would say 'Percy you are obsessed with your own body smell' well be lest assured that the ocean felt just weird that terrified me.

Well it was not an illusion well according to Jason there was a Nymphaeum , shrine to the nymphs well the demigods in older times would invite nymphs or any other water spirits to live with the livelihood well it considered as good luck for the owner but the bad thing was that would bind the nymphs to the new water source water source which would be great in this case the fountain should have to be in a new sunny park with fresh water pumped in through aqueducts I explained well I am sure with Piper that it had been underground for centuries,dry and buried.

Then with our luck we run into almost mmumm the walking nymphs who traded with twins oh the giants are a business chain in Rome. Well they told us to be Nine original nymphs in helping Lady Rhea to give birth Zeus in her labour who were respected in Greece and the Rome so giving in they left their home well I remembered the myth I learnt from extra digging about the myths regarding Zeus's. THE NYMPHAI LYKAIIDES were nine nymphs of Mount Lykaios (Lycaeus) in Arkadia (southern Greece) who assisted the Titaness Rhea in labour and nursed the infant god Zeus.

Three of the Lykaiides were Naiad-nymphs of the mountain—Hagno possessed a spring on the slopes, Neda a mountain stream, and Theisoa a fountain in the valley. The other four, Oinoe, Glauke, Phrixa, and Alkinoe, were probably also Naiades of specific springs. The eighth, named Anthrakia, was a torch-bearing nymph, which might suggest a Dryad. The ninth, Ida, is apparently the Kretan nymph of the same name who nursed Zeus in the Diktaion cave ( A/N: It's from it's their property).

Well Ephialtes and Otis promised we would come just great our bounty have been highest in this time I assume.

Well the basin was filling with alarming speed we pounded on the walls but no exit, well I went to underwater to check some drainage , I immediately regretted it was not water sadly I hardly made back to the surface. Well upon piper's instructions I and Jason held the horn of plenty the Corncupia according to her order I thought about clean water source and Jason thought of rainstorms well we both tried together as a team otherwise we would not succeed and die in the altar and in my case would be kidnapped.

Well that worked the room began to fill faster Piper was shaking Jason who seemed to be lifeless oh how I could be so stupid well I touched Jason's forhead concentrating to take out the water clogged up in his lungs and his eyes flutter open thunder clapped Piper was about to faint by the electric static force or in excitement I don't know.

Well boy I missed surface mainly after the Nymphaeum being filled with the odd quality water well we three crawled down the drainage pipe after thirty feet it opened into wider tunnel. To our left somewhere in distance we heard rumbling, creaking like huge machines needing oiling. Well the corridor opened into high twenty feet ceiling water flowed through open trenches oh more water great , powering water wheels thar turned some of the machines. Other machines were connected to huge hamster wheels with large hellhounds well I have got a nausea I never can imagine hellhound without remembering my pet Mrs'O'Leary well from the above cages were living animals like lions, several zebras, a whole pack of hyenas even an eight headed hydra was there. Well long story short they were trying to pull off a stunt I should say the biggest of stunt in Rome as they were underground making their own hypogeum and they planned to distribute the wonderbread to people of Rome before destroying them well they had freed Nico saying he had no entertainment value, and said we three would die in agony.

Well I fired many things for which Annabeth would have my head like firing a grenade launcher without practice or fighting a hydra well Piper was knocked out by a sandbag trying to save Nico.

Well upon Jason's direction I slashed through the control panels in shower of bronze sparks.

Well Bacchus who was leaner meaner version of Dionysus appeared but instead of helping he managed to get us fighting against the giants in colloseum by the time we killed the giants multiple times and Bacchus was watching from the king's seat accompanied by Nico and Piper who were being healed and in last moment he descended to deliver the killing blow as if to claiming his deeds.

Well Argo 2 has arrived and we all boarded and we decided to venture Emmanuel Building which Bacchus had suggested before leaving.

Well Leo fired a Ballistae in the parking lounge and sure under it was a deep hollow cavern leading straight to the deepest pit Tartarus.

Well after descending low I was the first one to see my Wise Girl sure she was injured and her ankle sprained, sure she was afraid of course after watching Arachne and evading her somehow an Athena girl is sane it is a big fit.

Annabeth talked about her journey but the cavern shook Leo started to bind ropes around the behemoth Parthenos to carry Annabeth was being dragged to the pit I realised in sweat that Arachne had managed to attach Annabeth with her web unknown to her so that they would go together there is no way even our friends could not help us into the matter how hard they tried and I would not leave my girlfriend down to the pit.

So I yelled to Nico "The other side, Nico!We'll see you there. Understand?"

He hesitated but I continued, "Lead them there ! Promise me!"

Then we both staying together towards the one-way trip to the pit but I can't give up I have a promise to keep my friends, family ,the gods even mostly the mortals, the civilization would depend on our actions down the pit. We can't lose can we?
