If Kabuto wanted to be honest with himself, he could admit that he still had trouble structuring Sakura's physical training, since he wanted to get a hold of scrolls about Lady Tsunade and her style of taijustsu, since it was specially curated to chakra control and force. He also hoped that in one of his approaching missions, he'd be able to find something else as well, like Kiri style ninjutsu, since she was a water type...but it seemed the pink haired girl had other plans.

She was wearing a purple shirt and black shorts, although she didn't shower or get ready at all, her hair was still as much of a mess as when she walked out of the door, some strands of hair just wanting to reach the sky, and she was just...punching one tree like her life depended on it with her hands and feet.

The grey haired teen wasn't even sure why did he have to be there, since all he did was watch her scream or grunt in anger at the wood.

It was a bit comically looking, but otherwise...

Ahh, luckily it was late afternoon, and probably everyone was still in bed, so no one could see what a massive...little, unthreatening thing she really was

Ohh but her anger...ohh her anger was just something else

She was weak, yet her anger made her almost scary looking, like a barking little dog, that could easily bite, even if the bite itself would be nothing, just the threat there...

Why was she so angry in the first place?

Kabuto was searching his mind and memories, but he was just too tired to come to any useful conclusion...

When Sakura went to change he continued to heal Kimimaro, and suddenly it seemed like his infection was eating up all of Kabuto's chakra, faster than before, so now, only after 30 minutes, he felt as drained as yesterday...didn't even want to think how or why did that happen...it was probably his kekkei genkai acting up again..

So since his exasperated mind had no patience making up theories, he just asked

"What is the source of your anger?" he said in a semi interested tone, folding his arms together, studying her

"What?" she snapped leaving the slightly butchered tree behind "I tell you what!" she half shouted, standing 5 meters from him with all her body shaking

He just raised his eyebrow at her

"I'm stuck here, while my village doesn't care about me! Kakashi-sensei and Naruto just don't care if I'm alive or dead! Orochimaru is making Sasuke-kun like that! And my parents never cared enough for me!" she screamed everything with tears formed in her eyes

Okay, he had to think through everything.

Firstly, yeah, she was stuck in Otogakure, and her village pretty much gave up on returning her, her sensei and the jinchuriki also continued on in their lives, although Kabuto had to admit of not being sure if Naruto even knew about her disappearance in the first place. And yeah, Orochimaru gave Sasuke the cursed mark, but in his opinion, if it weren't for Orochimaru, then someone else would've came along, and the Uchiha would've searched out power from a different place then. That's how revenge and this certain Uchiha worked

But the last statement...

"Your parents don't care about you?" he asked carefully while unfolding his arms

"No! Always belittling me and comparing me to Ino!" she said with a force in her voice "They are just genin, yet said that I'm not good enough, that I should just give up to be a ninja at all!" she gestured with her hands, but Kabuto could only focus on her face that increasingly became more pained with each word

"Why did you want to become a shinobi then?"

This question reached her un-expectantly and she took a step back from him

"Sasuke-kun..." she murmured starring at the ground, her anger seemingly gone "I thought he could give me a new and respected family...but he could only marry a kunoichi..." she said, looking and feeling ashamed

Kabuto on the other hand only felt impressed

This little weak girl, who he only payed attention at first because she happened to have good chakra control, now showed something he dared to say was better

She was calculating

Like him

She was not happy with her family, be it in feelings and status, and wanted to change that, even with a plan as superficial as marrying an Uchiha, it was still well calculated for a academy aged little girl

And now, that her plans had fallen over, even if she developed genuine feelings for Sasuke with time , she had to come up with new goals.

Sakura kept surprising him with every turn, even if she didn't ever do it consciously

He let out a satisfied sigh

"Your parents...I sent them to the mission" he said, and saw the realization in the emeralds

"Of course..." she said and hunched down more until she was sitting on the ground

He kneeled in front of her

"You are different than them" he said, with an almost soft tone, reaching out to hold her hand on her lap "I chose you because you have more potential than anyone I've seen" he squeezed her knuckles

He was starring at her green eyes, and felt almost lost in them for a moment, and couldn't stop himself saying out the first thing that came to his mind

"I'll make you strong, stronger than they can ever dream about" he said, and to this, one single tear traveled down on her face, but strangely she was smiling, so brightly, like the traveling down sun should be jealous, and squeezed back his hand

He could help the corner of his lips to turn up a bit as well
