HELLO ALL YOU READERS OUT THERE!
I just want to say how sorry I am for making you guys wait so long for me to update my stories. It's just that I was really busy with finishing my classes in college and a lot of stuff has been going on with my life lately. Well, now I am done with school so…HOORAY.
But, that doesn't mean I'm out of the woods yet. I've started working at a full-time job for quite a while now, which means less time for me to work on my writing; but that won't stop me from updating my stories as much as I can. So, be expecting more chapters and possibly new stories/crossover stories.
In honor of the people who made my stories their favorite, added me to their favorite authors, and the reviews that I've been getting so far, I'll be adding two new chapters in this story and the others. Also, there is a poll going on in my profile. I would appreciate it if you would take it and also, tell all your friends.
One more thing, I made some changes and grammar corrections on this story. So, I recommend that you read the changes before reading the new chapters.
Now, I will shut up and let you get on with your reading. Enjoy!
Kiyomi covered her mouth from the yawning while her class was receiving their math tests they took last week. She turned her attention to the window and stared out into the outside world. 'Can this day get any slower?' She wondered.
"Kiyomi Nakamura." Her teacher called out, grabbing her attention.
"Yes." Kiyomi got up from her seat and walked in front of the class as her teacher handed her test back and said, "You got one hundred points on the math test." Kiyomi accepted the paper as her classmates behind her were impressed.
"Wow, smart and beautiful!" One of the male students complimented.
"Is there anything Kiyomi can't do?" One of the female students wondered.
"Kiyomi, I'd like to talk to you after class today. That is, if you're not too busy." The teacher said, which Kiyomi replied with a nod of her head saying 'no' before walking back to her desk.
"Kiyomi, are you in trouble?" One her classmates asked.
"I don't think so." Kiyomi shrugged her shoulders as she continued, "I'm sure that it's not a big deal."
When Kiyomi walked into the teachers' staff room, she was not expecting to see Tsuna and Yamamoto standing in front of her math teacher. The boys and teacher turned their attention towards her when they heard the door slid opened.
"Ah, Kiyomi, please come in." Kiyomi walked towards her friends as her teacher said, "Boys, this is Kiyomi Nakamura, one of the best and brightest students I have in my class. Kiyomi, this is Tsunayoshi Sawada and Takeshi Yamamoto."
'We already know each other.' The students thought to themselves.
"Kiyomi, these boys had the lowest scores in their math test. I've decided to give them both extra homework for failing the test. If they don't get all the questions right, I'll have no choice but to fail them. I figured with your grades, you could help them understand the subject a little better." The teacher explained.
Kiyomi turned her head towards the boys as Tsuna looked down on the floor with a shameful face and Yamamoto was rubbing the back of his head while laughing.
"Sure. I can give them a hand with their assignment." Kiyomi offered with a kind smile, causing Tsuna to sigh in relief and Yamamoto said, "Thanks."
"Well then, sir, we shall take our leave." Kiyomi and her friends bowed down to the teacher as she said, "Please excuse us." The students walked out of the staff room before Kiyomi turned her attention to Tsuna and suggested, "Tsuna, how about we do homework together? It'll be a lot faster for me to teach you both anything that you don't understand."
"Yeah! Sure." Tsuna quickly agreed.
"Then do it at our house." A familiar voice said, grabbing the students' attention as they tried to find the source of the voice. "I'm here." They turned their attention to the wall to see a small square opened up to reveal Reborn sitting back on his chair with a cup of coffee, terrifying Tsuna.
"Yo." Yamamoto greeted.
"Ciaossu."
"It's good to see you again, Reborn. How have you been?" Kiyomi asked with a smile.
"I'm doing good." Reborn said with a nod of his head.
"Why are you choosing where we should do our homework?" Tsuna asked, grabbing Reborn's attention who simply said, "That's because I'm your tutor."
Yamamoto stared at Reborn in confusion when he heard Reborn's statement. Kiyomi wasn't even bothered by his statement since she had a feeling that Reborn wasn't just any normal baby. Tsuna quickly looked at his friends before he turned towards Reborn and whispered, "H-Hey!"
Yamamoto just laughed and said, "Tsuna, you have a great tutor!"
'Yamamoto thinks it's a joke again…' Both Kiyomi and Tsuna thought as a sweat drop appeared at the side of their heads.
"By the way, I called Gokudera too." Reborn stated.
"What?" Tsuna sighed to himself before he said, "Well, I guess it will help. Gokudera-kun is really smart."
"In any cause, I should get home and let my mother know about the situation. Tsuna, would mind giving me your address?" Kiyomi asked just before Reborn flashed her a card and said, "This is where we live. We shall see you at 3:00 p.m. today. Don't be late."
"Reborn, could be a little nicer when you say that?" Tsuna muttered.
"Sure." Kiyomi accepted the card before she walked away and tossed a wave over her shoulder. "I'll see you boys there."
Kiyomi stood in front of a nice looking house as she looking at the card Reborn gave her. "This looks like the place." She said to herself before ringing the doorbell. The door opened to reveal a woman in her mid-thirties with short brown hair and matching eyes. Kiyomi could tell right away that she was Tsuna's mother due to the fact that he looked just like her.
When Nana opened the door, she was not expecting to see a pretty young girl who was wearing a beige sleeveless blouse tucked in a flowy black skirt that fell gently above her knees and a pair of black flats to complete the look.
"Hello. Is Tsuna home?" Kiyomi asked with a smile.
Nana snapped out of her trance and asked, "Oh. Are you a friend of Tsuna's friends?"
"Yes. My name is Kiyomi Nakamura. It's a pleasure to meet you." Kiyomi greeted. "I'm here to help him with his homework."
"Oh, how wonderful. Please come in." Nana said as she took a step to the side and allowed Kiyomi to walk inside the house. "His other friends are here as well. His room is up the stairs, second door on your left."
Kiyomi took off her flats before she turned towards Nana and bowed down to her, "Thank you, ma'am. You have a lovely home here."
Nana squealed before bring Kiyomi into a hug, surprising the girl in the process. "You are just too precious! You can call me Mama from now on!"
Kiyomi giggled as Nana released her grip of the girl. "Okay. Well, I'd best not keep my friends waiting. Please excuse me." Kiyomi walked up the stairs as Nana stared at the girl and thought to herself, 'My, my. She's such an angel! She's a keeper!'
Kiyomi knocked the door, grabbing the boys' attention. "Hey, boys. Sorry if I'm late." Kiyomi greeted as she walked inside the room.
"Welcome." Tsuna greeted.
"You're exactly on time." Reborn said with a smile as Kiyomi sat between Tsuna and Yamamoto. "Make yourself at home."
"Thank you." Kiyomi said with a nod.
"This is helping a lot. Both Kiyomi and Gokudera-kun are really smart." Tsuna complimented.
"Surprisingly for Gokudera." Yamamoto joked.
"Shut up!" Gokudera shouted with a glare.
"Now, now, boys. Let's not forget that we're here to help each other with the homework." Kiyomi stated with her hands up to calm down Gokudera.
"Right! If it is train the 10th to become a great Mafia boss, Gokudera Hayato will do anything!" Gokudera exclaimed.
"You're too loud!" Tsuna shouted.
"Well, let's not keep this long assignment on hold. Let's get started."
A good half hour has passed since Kiyomi and Gokudera were helping Tsuna and Yamamoto with their homework. Kiyomi was helping Yamamoto since Gokudera 'insisted' that the 10th's right-hand man should be the one to help Tsuna. From what Kiyomi could see, Yamamoto was understanding the material really well.
"I'm impressed, Yamamoto. You sure catch on pretty quick." Kiyomi complimented.
Yamamoto laughed before he said, "Once I read the textbook, I found out it was pretty easy. You make it really easy for me Kiyomi."
"Not really. I just change the lesson to something that you could understand. That's something that my Onii-sama taught me."
"I didn't know you have an older brother, Kiyomi." Tsuna said.
"Yeah. I have an Onii-sama, Onee-sama, and Ototo-san. I'm the third oldest out of the four." Kiyomi said as Gokudera took Yamamoto's paper and looked at his answer. "I-It's right."
'I'm guessing the reason his grades are bad is because of his love for baseball. He can understand the subject just fine if he had the time to actually learn it.' Kiyomi thought.
"I didn't get question seven, though." Yamamoto stated, causing Gokudera to laugh and said, "You're still an idiot, Yamamoto! Right, 10th?"
"Gokudera." Gokudera turned towards Kiyomi before she continued, "It's not nice to laugh at someone who doesn't understand the question. I mean, look at what you did to Tsuna." The boy turned to see Tsuna looking down in despair.
"I don't care about question seven. I still don't get half of all this."
"Uh…10th! You can show your power by solving question seven in no time!" Gokudera tried to bring up Tsuna's spirit…clearly it wasn't working.
Tsuna looked at his paper and read the question, "If you had a stack of 100 sheets of 11.5 cm² that are dropped together from a height of three meters prove that when they fall to the ground, the stack will not fall apart."
'How is this question related to math exactly?' Kiyomi wondered as she watched Tsuna try to figure out the problem.
"I have no idea!" Tsuna shouted.
"10th!"
Suddenly, the door opened the reveal a young girl with long brown hair pulled back in a ponytail and brown eyes. What caught Kiyomi by surprise was the girl having a purple bandana around her head like a burglar. "Here's some food!"
"H-Huh? Why are you here?" Tsuna shouted with widen eyes, apparently knowing the girl.
The girl glared down at Tsuna as she said, "I'm making sure that there are no bad influences around Reborn-chan!"
"Was it really necessary to dress up like that?" Tsuna muttered.
Realizing what she was wearing, the girl quickly took off the bandana before serving the drinks and snacks…while still glaring at Tsuna.
"I didn't know you knew someone from Midori Middle School, Tsuna." Yamamoto said.
"You mean the super-hard-to-get-into, prestigious girl's school? That Midori Middle School?" Kiyomi wondered.
"That's their uniform, right?" Yamamoto asked the girl who said, "Yes."
"She could probably solve the problem." Yamamoto suggested, grabbing everyone's attention towards the girl.
"I understand. Then, if I'm able to solve the problem, you will never get involved with Reborn-chan ever again." Haru declared.
"I think that's for Reborn to decide." Kiyomi muttered as she turned around to see Reborn drinking his iced tea from a huge glass with a straw.
"Heh, sounds interesting." Gokudera shoved the paper towards the girl's face with a smug look on his face. "If you think you can solve it, then go ahead!"
"G-Gokudera-kun."
The girl took the paper and looked at the hard question. "I've seen this problem before."
Afternoon turned to night as the girl, who is named Haru, cried out, "I'm sorry! I couldn't do it!"
"What was that, 'I can solve it!' you lying girl!" Gokudera shouted with a harden glare.
"I never said I could solve it! I said I could see it! And you're calling me a liar."
"You shouldn't make her cry." Yamamoto stated.
"That's right, Gokudera-kun."
"If you make one girl cry, you'll never get a girl in the near future." Kiyomi said while supporting her head with her hand.
"A true mafia member treats a woman with respect." Reborn stated. Gokudera was caught off-guard as he looked down at Haru and said, "Um…My bad."
"Who are you?" Everyone looked at the closed curtain window behind the girls to see a tail poking out. The tail pushed the curtain to reveal a singing Lambo. "I'm Lambo. Who am I? You're Lambo. I'm Lambo~" Once Lambo jumped down from the window, he turned around and got terrified from Gokudera's glaring face.
Silence filled the room until Lambo walked his way towards the door. "I, um, only happened to be passing by." He stopped and took a couple of steps back to see the small plate of cookies at the table. He quickly jumped up on the table and started to eat the cookies. "When I eat cookies, I get hyper. After I get hyper, I get sleepy."
Haru squealed as she brought Lambo in her arms while rubbing her cheek with his cheek. "We meet again! I'm so happy!"
"I don't get it…" Gokudera muttered while scratching his head.
After Lambo calmed down and was sleeping in Tsuna's bed, thanks to Kiyomi, everyone can now focus on the struggling 'math' question. Everyone was stubbed on how to solve the problem until Haru suggested, "Since it's a middle school question, an adult should be able to figure it out."
"But it can't be just be anyone…" Tsuna stated.
"It's fine. I have someone in mind. We were just in the kitchen together." Haru stated.
"The kitchen? Who?" Kiyomi asked.
"She's called Bianchi-san." After hearing the name, everyone's eyes widen. "Bianchi?!"
"Big Sis?!"
"When did Bianchi start living here, Tsuna?" Kiyomi asked.
"Um…it's a long story." Tsuna said before the door opened with the person outside the door announced, "Here's a midnight snack."
Quick on his feet, Gokudera jumped up and tried to close the door on her. "Let me in."
"Hi, Bianchi. You're looking well." Kiyomi greeted with a smile, grabbing Bianchi's attention who said, "Oh, Kiyomi, hello."
"Kiyomi, don't just go along and greet her!" Gokudera shouted.
"Hayato, as much as I want you find love, I can't leave you alone with Kiyomi like this. You're too young to explore that type of love." Bianchi said, causing Gokudera's eyes to widen and his face turning completely red.
"Y-YOU'RE COMPLETELY WRONG! SHE AND I ARE NOT IN THAT KIND OF RELATIONSHIP!" Gokudera shouted as he slammed the door at Bianchi's face.
"You guys seem to get along so well." Yamamoto said.
"No, we don't." Gokudera said with glare towards Yamamoto.
"Oh, Gokudera," Gokudera turned his attention at Kiyomi, who was staring at him with a playful smile on her face. "I didn't know you had those kinds of feelings for me."
Gokudera turned completely red as he stuttered, "Y-You're wrong!"
"Oh, so you don't like me then?"
"T-That's not what I'm saying! I'm saying-Hot!" Gokudera stepped away from the door as the doorknob completely melted off, causing the door to open and reveal Bianchi.
"So, how do you like my poison cooking? My powerful Dissolving Sakura-mochi."
"You can do that with poison cooking too?" Tsuna mutterd as he glared at her for destroying his doorknob.
Kiyomi jumped up on her feet and ran towards Gokudera before grabbing him while he groaning and holding his stomach in pain from the sight of his sister. 'Poor guy.'
"It's dangerous!" Haru muttered to herself as she watched the scene in front of her.
Kiyomi turned her head towards Tsuna and asked, "Tsuna, would be all right for Gokudera to use your bed while he recovers?"
"Sure." Tsuna nodded as he helped her put Gokudera on his bed after Kiyomi moved Lambo to sleep beside him.
As Kiyomi was tucking Gokudera in, Bianchi was watching the scene with a smile on her face. "That's the kind of girl that should be with Hayato. Kiyomi," The girl turned her attention towards Bianchi as she continued, "I approve of your relationship with him."
A sweat drop appeared on the back of her head before she said, "Okay…Thanks, I guess." Kiyomi got up on her feet and walked towards Bianchi as she took the snacks from her hands. "Anyway, Bianchi, think you can help us with a math question?"
"I'll have a look on one condition." Bianchi said.
"Yes?"
"You start calling me Big Sis from now on." The request took Kiyomi completely off-guard before she asked, "May I ask why?"
"Because you're going to be Hayato's future wife and I'm going to be your sister-in-law. It only seems far."
"Kiyomi, just agree with her. The sooner she can solve this problem, the sooner Haru can leave. Besides, I'm sure you and Reborn can figure something out to get yourself out of this situation." Tsuna whispered.
Kiyomi sighed and said, "All right. Please help us, Big Sis."
Bianchi nodded before sitting down at the table and looked over at the problem. "Since I'm the one who recommended Bianchi-san, if she solves it then I win." Haru stated.
"Don't just make up the rules!" Tsuna exclaimed.
Bianchi chuckled before she said, "That's right. I don't care about this!" Suddenly, she ripped the paper up in pieces, causing Tsuna to shriek in horror. He was held back by Yamamoto who tried to calm him down by saying, "There, there."
"It has no love. It has nothing to do with me anyway." Bianchi stated before getting up and leaving the room, leaving the paper pieces on the floor.
"My question sheet!" Tsuna exclaimed.
"Don't worry. I have a question sheet too. I can let you copy mine." Yamamoto offered.
'If she wasn't going to help us, then what was the point of me calling her Big Sis?' Kiyomi thought as one of her eyebrows twitched.
"Oh right," Everyone turned their attention to Haru who said, "This question was from a book my dad was reading!"
Standing front of the gang while Reborn was sleeping in a hammock, was Haru's father who was looking at the question to see if he can figure it out.
"This is my dad. He's a university math professor." Haru introduced.
"You could've called him in the first place, then we could've got this whole mess done and out of the way." Kiyomi growled, causing Haru to laugh while rubbing her head.
"There's no problem with you not being able to solve this question. This is a very hard, university-level question." Haru's dad stated.
"High university level?" Tsuna asked.
"Why would a middle school give middle school students a university level question?" Kiyomi muttered.
"You cannot prove this because it cannot happen."
"Really?" Tsuna asked.
"Yes, even as a university professor, I cannot prove it." Haru's dad said.
"No. It can be proven." Everyone turned their attention to Reborn, who woke up from his slumber. "What if, at first, the papers had glue on them? When they fell, the glue would make the papers stick together."
Haru's dad gasped before he said, "I wouldn't have thought…" Everyone was amazed by Reborn's explanation.
"Or was that just wit?" Tsuna wondered.
"Those sideburns…" Haru's dad gasped and said, "Y-You must be…"
"Dad, you know Reborn-chan?" Haru asked.
"Reborn? That's isn't his name. His name is…Boreen! He makes rare appearances in the scientific community. He never fails to solve problems that were deemed impossible! The genius mathematician, Professor Boreen!"
"Seriously?!" Tsuna's question was answered by Reborn falling back asleep. "H-He's sleeping…"
"He was just talking in his sleep. He's still just a baby." Yamamoto said.
"I guess so."
Haru stood up and announced, "Okay then. Reborn-chan, you can come live in my house." She began to walk towards the sleeping baby.
"But he was the one who solved the problem, not your dad." Kiyomi stated while Haru was reaching towards Reborn.
Reborn woke up and said, "She is correct. I'm the one who ended up solving it. This match is a tie." Haru looked down in shame. "I'll just tell you, until I make Tsuna a great 10th generation Mafia boss, I cannot depart this house."
"Mafia?"
Morning came a lot quicker than Kiyomi wanted as she was walking with Yamamoto and Gokudera. "Yesterday was pretty hectic." She said before she covered her yawning mouth.
Yamamoto laughed and said, "At least we got the work done thanks to you and Gokudera."
"Say, Kiyomi, Big Sis didn't say or do anything weird did she?" Gokudera asked.
"Well, unless you consider her asking me to call her Big Sis as normal, then no." Kiyomi said.
"Huh? Why did she want you to do that?"
Kiyomi sighed before she replied, "Because she thinks that you and I are going to be together which makes her my future sister-in-law."
Gokudera groaned before he said, "I'm sorry, Kiyomi."
"It's fine. That just Bianchi's way of looking out for you."
"W-W-Wait!" The three of them looked in front of them to see Tsuna was being chased by a person in a weird getup with a hockey stick in their hand.
"Arguing is useless!" The person shouted.
"10th?" "Tsuna?" All three of them watched the scene before they ran towards them. "Tsuna!" Kiyomi called out, grabbing Tsuna's attention while the person was distracted.
"Please get out of the way!" Gokudera shouted before Tsuna looked up to see a lot of lite dynamite were falling down towards him and his attacker.
"When did you even do that?!" Kiyomi shouted before the dynamites exploded and filling the area with smoke. Once the smoke cleared up, the person that was attacking Tsuna was gone, leaving behind the helmet.
Kiyomi and the others caught up and stood by Tsuna as Yamamoto asked, "Is everything all right?"
"You're okay, right?" Gokudera asked.
"No. Everything is not all right." Tsuna pointed down at the water to show his friends his attacker…who was Haru?!
"Why do you have those-" Haru struggled to stay above the water but couldn't due to her armor. "Waah! Help me!"
"This isn't good. The armor is too heavy for her to even swim!" Kiyomi said.
"And I can't swim!" Tsuna turned towards his friends and said, "Hey, one of you two has to save her."
"You're gonna have to save her." Everyone turned around to see Reborn standing on the rails with Leon, his pet, transforming into a gun. 'Guess that explains the gun shot sounds.' Kiyomi thought as Reborn pointed his gun at Tsuna and shot him.
Tsuna flew back and over the rails before he shouted, "REBORN!" His clothes disappeared, leaving behind his boxers and a flame on his head. "I'll save Haru with my dying will!"
"Reborn, what kind of bullet did you just shoot at Tsuna?" Kiyomi asked.
"That was the dying will bullet and this is the Screw Bullet." Reborn said before he shot two bullets at Tsuna's legs just as Tsuna landed in the water.
Tsuna quickly swam towards Haru and grabbed a hold of her before jumping over to the side and meeting up with his friends. The flame in his head died out as Kiyomi helped Haru remove the armor and placed a towel over her head.
"I hope you've learned your lesson not to bother the 10th." Gokudera said with a glare.
"A girl shouldn't swing something like that around." Yamamoto added.
"All right, boys. That's enough. Leave the poor girl alone." Kiyomi said with her hands on her hips.
"Hold on to me! Raaaaaaaah!" Everyone jumped at the volume of Haru's voice as she continued, "I'll protect Haru with my dying will! I thought only people on TV said cheesy things like that."
"S-She's not sorry at all." Tsuna muttered.
"Tsuna-kun." A familiar voice called out. Everyone looked up at the stairs to see Kyoko and Hana coming down towards them.
"K-Kyoko-chan."
"What's going on here?" Hana asked.
"Swimming in the morning? Aren't you cold?" Kyoko asked.
"Well, no, er…that's…it…there's a reason for this." Tsuna tried to think of an explanation why he was at the state he was in now.
"I'll save Haru with my dying will!" Haru shouted again.
"Haru, calm down!" Kiyomi said while holding Haru's shoulders to make her stay in one place, obviously that wasn't working.
"If you don't wear something, you'll catch a cold." Kyoko said with a smile.
"Y-Yeah."
Haru got out of Kiyomi's grasp as she stood really close to Tsuna and said, "Tsuna-san. You were…wonderful. Te-n-th. It seems I now have a crush on you."
"W-What are you talking about?" Tsuna asked.
"I'm so confused right now." Kiyomi muttered as she watched Haru chase after Tsuna. Without anyone knowing, a certain discipline committee was watching the scene as well before his eyes trailed down at Kiyomi as if they were in a trance.
