It's been a few days or so since the incident with Ryohei and the Karate Club. So far, things have been quiet which is surprising, but Kiyomi wasn't complaining. Right now, she was walking to school while wearing a yellow blazer with the Namimori Middle School's crest emblazoned over the left breast due to the weather getting slightly cold.
As Kiyomi was walking, she noticed Tsuna was standing outside of his house with Gokudera, Yamamoto, Haru and Reborn. She noticed some people she didn't recognize. There were a group of men dressed in black suits and standing next to Reborn was a tall, young man with blonde hair and brown eyes with comfortable looking clothes. She also noticed that he had some tattoos on his left arm.
"Good morning, everyone." Kiyomi announced, grabbing everyone's attention especially the blonde whose cheeks turned red at the sight of her.
"Kiyomi!" Tsuna greeted.
"Good morning, Kiyomi!"
"Ciaossu!" Reborn greeted.
"Who are these people, Tsuna? Friends of yours?" Kiyomi asked as she looked each and every new face she sees.
"Well, sort of." Tsuna said while scratching the back of his head.
"I see. Well, we'd better getting going or else we're going to be late for school." Kiyomi said as she walked on ahead with all of the men clearing a path. "Thank you for clearing the path." She smiled and nodded at the men who smiled back at her.
"She's right! We'd better go!" Tsuna said as he followed Kiyomi.
"Wait for me, 10th!" Gokudera and Yamamoto followed after them.
"Haru will come part of the way with you!" Haru announced as she followed.
After calming down the heat on his face, the blonde turned his attention to Reborn and said, "So that's Tsuna's family. They're still kids."
"It seems that you're interested. Especially to Kiyomi." Reborn stated causing the blonde to blush again.
"I-I guess."
"You think they're worth it?" Reborn asked.
"I don't know. The most important part of a Family is trust. If I don't see that, I won't consider them."
Reborn turned his head towards the blonde and asked, "Then, do you want to test them?"
"So that man, Dino, is the boss of the Cavallone Family?" Kiyomi asked as she, Tsuna and Gokudera were walking behind while Yamamoto and Haru were walking ahead of them.
"Yeah. At first he was really scary, but as I got to know him a little more he's actually pretty cool." Tsuna said.
"Well, that's good. I'm glad you two got along so well." Kiyomi said before she turned her attention to Gokudera and asked, "Gokudera, do you know anything about Dino or the Cavallone Family?"
"I know quite a bit about both actually. Bucking Horse Dino is charge of 5,000 Families and the Vongola Family is the center of the Families alliances. The Vongola Family prioritized over all other Families." Gokudera explained.
"Wow. I had no idea the Vongola Family was that great." Kiyomi said with widen eyes of amazement.
"I didn't know that either till yesterday." Tsuna stated.
"It's also well-known that he was able to fix the financial problem left to the Family by his predecessor. Now the Cavallone Family is the third strongest in our alliance." Gokudera added.
"Eh? Dino-san is good at management, too. He really is cool." Tsuna said.
"I don't like him." Gokudera said out of nowhere.
"Why don't you like him?" Kiyomi asked.
"All older guys are my enemies." Gokudera simply stated, causing both Tsuna and Kiyomi to have a sweat drop on the side of their heads.
"That's quite a range." Kiyomi said.
"Hey, Tsuna." The boys and Kiyomi walked up towards Haru and Yamamoto with him asking, "Did you do your homework?"
"Aah! I forgot!" Tsuna cried out.
Yamamoto just laughed and said, "Me, too. We can get scolded together."
"That's not something to laugh about, Yamamoto." Kiyomi said.
Suddenly, a loud sound was coming from behind Gokudera, Kiyomi and Tsuna. Everyone looked behind to see a red car speeding up behind them. Everyone quickly got out of the way until one of the car's doors opened while speeding and a rope shot out and wrapped itself around Tsuna as it pasted him and dragged him along as he screamed.
"10th!/Tsuna!" The boys and Kiyomi shouted as Haru screamed in terror. Gokudera, Yamamoto and Kiyomi started to chase after the car until a voice said, "Hold it." They stopped and turned around to see Reborn standing before them.
"That's the car of the yakuza, Momokyokai, that are based in this district." Reborn said.
"Reborn-san."
"Oh right, the police!" Haru started to dig in her bag. "Where's my cellphone?"
"You're no match for them. Leave it to Dino and his subordinates." Reborn said.
"We can't let him take care of it." Gokudera stated.
"What kind of friends would we be if we let someone else take care of the job for us?" Kiyomi added.
"That's right. We'll leave the rest to you." Yamamoto added.
"Let's go or else we'll lose sight of them." Kiyomi ordered as she ran off.
"Right." Gokudera and Yamamoto agreed as they followed her, leaving behind Haru and Reborn.
As soon as they left, a revving engine caused Haru to look behind her to see the same red car pulling up from the corner. Once it came to a complete stop, one of the doors opened with Dino stepping out of the vehicle.
"I like them. They only thought of rescuing Tsuna.I wouldn't say they were calm, though." Dino said before another door was open to reveal one of Dino's subordinates who pulled Tsuna of the car completely unharmed.
"Tsuna-san! You're all right. I'm so relieved." Haru said with a sigh of relief.
"What are you thinking, Dino-san?!" Tsuna exclaimed while Dino's subordinate untied the rope around Tsuna.
"Sorry, sorry. I was just testing your Family." Dino said.
"Testing?"
"There's no such thing as the Momokyokai. I just wanted to see if they'd try to help you." Dino stated.
"Boss, I'll be leaving."
"Okay. Thanks." The subordinate got back in the car and drove off. Dino turned his attention back to Tsuna and said, "Tsuna, you must be happy. It's rare to see a Family that thinks of their Boss so much."
"No, they're not my Family. They're just friends." Tsuna said with a slight blush on his cheeks.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you." Tsuna and Dino turned their attention to Reborn who said, "The Momokyokai is a real yakuza that's based in this town."
"What the hell?! So that means that those three really went after them?!" Tsuna screeched.
"What were you thinking, Reborn? That isn't an opponent that those kids can take on! Especially for a young lady like Kiyomi! Geez, why do you always go to the extreme?" Dino exclaimed.
"That's right! What if something happens to them?" Tsuna added.
When Reborn wasn't answering, they noticed a familiar snot bubble coming out of his nose. A sure sign for them that Reborn fell asleep.
"He fell asleep! Gokudera-kun! Yamamoto! Kiyomi!" Tsuna shouted as he ran off with Dino following, leaving behind a sleeping Reborn and a confused Haru.
After minutes of searching, Tsuna and Dino finally found the building/hideout of the Momokyokai gang…then again it was kinda easy to find since their name is on the sign and window. The boys quietly snuck inside while being wary of any yakuza members roaming in the building.
Tsuna pressed his back against a wall before sticking his head out. "It's so scary." He said to himself before he noticed a familiar school bag abandoned on the ground in front of a closed door. "That's Kiyomi's bag! They're really here."
Dino ran up the stairs and stood in front of Tsuna, who was bit surprised by his sudden appearance. "It's here. Let's go." Dino charged towards the door with Tsuna following him from behind.
One they slammed the door open, they were expecting Tsuna's friends to be beaten up or worse…but it was the opposite. Littering around the floors were beaten and unconscious Momokyokai members with Tsuna's friends asking information for the whereabouts of Tsuna.
"Can't you tell us?" Yamamoto asked as he sat top of one of the unconscious members and shook him by the shoulders.
"Spit it out, damn it! Where's the 10th?" Gokudera demanded to another unconscious member he held up by his shirt collar.
"C'mon. We've already beaten you guys. Make it less embarrassing and tell us where he is." Kiyomi said to another unconscious member she held own by her foot on his chest and her hands on her hips.
"Gah?"
"They've beaten them?" Tsuna said in disbelief.
Hearing Tsuna's voice, Gokudera turned his attention to the door to see him and Dino. "10th! You're all right!" Gokudera cried out as he tossed the unconscious man to the side.
"You seem well." Yamamoto said as he released the unconscious man's shoulders and stood up.
"Thank goodness." Kiyomi said in relief as she removed her foot from the unconscious man's chest.
"Uh, yeah." Tsuna nodded.
"These guys really are something." Dino said to Tsuna.
"Yeah."
Suddenly, a door that was off to the side slammed opened to reveal more Momokyokai members. Only this time they have more muscles compared to the ones Tsuna's friends faced and the Momokyokai Boss was leading them…at least they assume he is based upon his jacket literally saying 'Boss'.
"What the hell are you brats doing?" The Momokyokai boss demanded.
"You've insulted us." One of the muscle-bound members added.
"Aah! They look so strong!" Tsuna screeched.
Kiyomi, Gokudera and Yamamoto quickly ran in front of Tsuna, blocking him from the Momokyokai members with a determination to protect him.
"They just keep coming." Gokudera said.
"They're nothing by pests." Kiyomi added.
"Wait." The boys and Kiyomi turned towards Dino who said, "They're at a different level from the other ones. These guys are still too tough for you, even for a young lady like Kiyomi."
"What?" Kiyomi was confused as to why Dino even mentioned her.
"It's my fault this happened." Dino walked forward and stood in front of them. He reached into his coat and pulled out a golden card. "I'll pay for all the medical and furnishing expenses, so let's leave it at this."
The Momokyokai boss chuckled and said, "Don't be a dumbass. We'll take the money, but we won't let you leave. We're especially not letting a fine piece of ass like that get away from us." Everyone can tell who he meant when his eyes landed on Kiyomi.
"Ew." Kiyomi's entire body shuddered in disgust.
"So there's no deal. I guess I'll just have to fight back." Dino declared with narrowed eyes and a smirk. He put his card back in his coat and pulled out a whip. "Get ready!" With a flick of his wrist, he swung the whip…only to hit Gokudera and Yamamoto in the face including himself.
"That's gotta hurt." Kiyomi hissed as the boys fell down to their knees and held their face in pain.
"What the hell are you doing?" Gokudera groaned out.
"Owww." Yamamoto groaned.
"Oh, right. Dino-san is useless without his suborinates." Tsuna whispered.
"What?!" Kiyomi shouted with wide eyes.
The Momokyokai boss laughed and said, "What the hell was that? Don't take us lightly." He walked up towards Kiyomi who backed away from him until her back came in contact with the wall.
"Stay back!" Kiyomi shouted with a hard glare.
"Ooh! I like that look in your eyes. I think I'll make you my main squeeze."
"What's wrong with you?! I'm underage and I'm not interested in scum like you!" Kiyomi exclaimed with a look of disgust on her face.
"REBORN!" Everyone turned their attention to Tsuna who was once again in his boxers and a flame on his head. "I'll beat them and protect Kiyomi with my dying will!" Suddenly Tsuna's clutched fists were growing until they were as big as a pro wrestler.
"Tsuna?" Kiyomi stared at him with widen eyes.
"What's with those hands?" The Momokyokai boss asked before Tsuna swung his large fist and punched him right in the face, breaking his nose and knocking some teeth out in the process. But that didn't stop him from doing the same with some of the members.
"Bastard!" The remaining members jumped at Tsuna all at once with his back turned towards them.
"10th!" Gokudera jumped kicked one of them in the face.
"Tsuna!" Yamamoto elbowed another one in the back of the neck.
"Back off!" Kiyomi ran towards one of the members and kneed him in the abdomen.
"Are you all right, 10th?" Gokudera asked as he, Yamamto and Kiyomi stood back to back with Tsuna.
"We'll watch your back." Yamamoto declared.
"You just worry about the ones in front." Kiyomi added with a smirk.
"Got it!"
"Those guys…" Dino muttered as he watch them with admiration.
"We can't lose either, Boss." Dino turned towards the door to see all of his subordinates standing at the entrance.
"You guys."
"What are you doing there all by yourself?" One of the subordinates, Romario teased.
"Shut up." Dino got up on his feet and ordered, "Okay. Let's go crazy!" With Dino's subordinates there to help, it was easy to defeat the Momokyokai gang.
After defeating Momokyokai gang and getting scolded for arriving to school late, Tsuna and his friends were in his room with Dino sitting in front of them.
"I understand now. I can leave Tsuna to you guys and lady." Dino said with a nod to Gokudera, Yamamoto and Kiyomi.
"Wait, don't say things like that." Tsuna said with his hands held up.
"I don't need you to tell me that. I'll always protect, and be the right hand man of, the 10th." Gokudera declared with a smirk.
"Honestly, what kind of members would be if we couldn't protect Tsuna?" Kiyomi said with a smile.
"Well, it's good that you weren't hurt." Yamamoto said.
"Gokudera-kun. Yamamoto. Kiyomi." Tsuna smiled out of happiness. Despite not wanting to be a part of the mafia, he was glad he had friends like them.
"Then, I'll be leaving." Dino announced as he stood up.
"Huh? Already?"
"I'm busy with my work as Boss, too."
"You'd be careful going home." Kiyomi said with a smile, causing Dino's cheeks to turn red.
"T-Thank you for your concern." Dino stuttered.
'Guess Kiyomi's got another fan.' Tsuna thought with a sweat drop on his face before walking Dino out.
"So, Gokudera, do you still not like him after all that?" Kiyomi asked.
Gokudera was silent before he looked away and said, "I guess I like him…a little."
Yamamoto laughed and said, "It's better than not."
"I think he'll be a great brother figure to have around." Kiyomi added.
Suddenly, Dino's and Tsuna's screams were heard through the house which caused Kiyomi and the boys to jump up on their feet and ran out of the room. Once they made it to the stairs, they looked down to see Tsuna on top of Dino groaning in pain while Lambo, I-Pin and Reborn were standing on one of the stair steps.
"Will you stay tonight as well?" Tsuna groaned.
"Because Mama's food is very good." Dino groaned out.
"10th, are you okay?" Gokudera asked.
"Something smells really good. Can we stay too, Tsuna?" Yamamoto asked.
Kiyomi carefully walked down the stairs and grabbed a hold of Tsuna's hand. "Here. Let me help you up."
"Thank you, Kiyomi." Tsuna said as Kiyomi held Dino's hand and helped him up.
"You really need to be more careful when it comes to stairs." Kiyomi said to a red-faced Dino.
'Waah…Such soft hands…' Dino thought to himself before he realized that he was holding her hand longer than should be and released it. "Y-You're right! I-I'll be more careful from now on!" Dino exclaimed after placing his hand behind his head.
'He's got it bad.' Both Reborn and Tsuna thought to themselves.
"It's almost dinner." Lambo said.
"Dinner won't be for a while." Reborn announced, grabbing everyone's attention.
"Why is that?" Kiyomi asked.
Suddenly, a loud crash was heard through the bathroom. Everyone quickly ran down stairs to see that either someone or something was trying to slam the door.
"What?!" Tsuna cried out.
The door finally broke down to reveal a large monster-like turtle roaring as it walked out of the bathroom.
"What's that?!" Kiyomi screamed.
"That's Enzo, Dino's turtle!" Tsuna screeched.
"That's a turtle?!" Kiyomi screamed before everyone ran out of the house in fear of Enzo. "That's not normal!"
After taken care of Enzo and Dino went back to Italy, things finally started to calm down…well as calm as it was going to get.
"What a day." Kiyomi said to herself as she was walking home from school. As she was walking by a pond, she noticed a familiar figure on his knees and holding his stomach in pain. "Is that…?" She quickly ran up to the see and confirmed that it was Gokudera. "It is you, Gokudera! Are you all right?"
Gokudera lifts up his head and said, "K-Kiyomi. Good timing. Catch that guy." He pointed across the pond with Kiyomi following the direction. Across the pond was Bianchi running away from an older man with dark brown hair and brown eyes with some stubble around his chin and a long white coat. She also sees Tsuna chasing after them. "The 10th's life depends on it."
"His life?" Kiyomi's eyes widen before she nodded and said, "Leave it to me." She ran after the group at a fast pace until she caught with them. Once she sees Tsuna and the older man, she shouted, "Tsuna!"
Without stopping, Tsuna looked over his shoulders to see Kiyomi running up to him. "Kiyomi!"
They continued to run as Kiyomi asked, "Tsuna, what's going on? Gokudera told me to catch that guy. He said that your life depends on it."
"That's right. Shamal-san's the only one that can cure my illness."
"What illness?"
"That's so embarrassing! You've worn your underwear the wrong way around and peed in your pants." Both Tsuna and Kiyomi stopped at their tracks when they heard a voice.
Kiyomi and Tsuna were staring at one another with widen eyes before she asked, "What was that?"
"That's the illness. I've got the Skull Disease called the 'Dying of Shame' disease from taking too much Dying Will bullets to the brain thanks to Reborn. I have skulls appearing on my body that tell my most embarrassing secrets until I die. This disease will cause me to die two hours after it first appears which means I have until sunset." Tsuna explained.
"Then I'm guessing the reason you're chasing after this Shamal is because he can cure it?"
"Yes. The only problem is that he only treats women."
"Of course it's not gonna be easy." Kiyomi groaned with her head tilted back. She snapped her head back and suggested, "Considering we don't have enough time, I think it's best if we split up and search for Shamal."
"Got it."
It was getting close to sunset and Kiyomi wasn't have much luck to finding Shamal as she was running around the neighborhood.
'Geez! How hard is it to find one doctor?' Kiyomi thought before she noticed a figure standing in the middle of the road. She stopped and hid at a corner before poking her head to see Shamal looking around. 'It's him!' Thinking of a quick plan, Kiyomi backed away and ran off somewhere.
"I need to find a place to sleep soon. I'll leave Bianchi for tomorrow." Shamal said to himself.
"Hey, you!" A voice called out.
"Huh?" Shamal looked up to see Kiyomi standing on the edge of a stone wall with her left hand resting on her hip.
"I've been instructed to find you. You've caused me quite a bit of trouble looking for you." Kiyomi said before jumped down and landed in front of him. "I'd appreciate your cooperation and come with me."
"Wow, you're such a beauty! I'll give you a smooch!" Shamal said with a perverted grin and lunged at her. Luckily, Kiyomi stepped to the side and caused him to fall on his face. "Oh, you're playing hard to get?" Shamal jump up on his feet and reached for her. "I like that in a woman!"
Kiyomi's eyes widen before she ran off with Shamal following her. "Come back, my beauty!"
'Why didn't Tsuna warn me about him being a womanizer?!' Kiyomi shouted to herself as she attempted to lead Shamal along until they come across Tsuna.
"Wait for me~!" Shamal cried out as they turned a corner and, luckily for Kiyomi, Tsuna was standing in her view.
"Kiyomi!" Tsuna shouted.
"Tsuna!" Kiyomi shouted back.
"Kiyomi! Just keep on running!" Kiyomi nodded her head as she ran past Tsuna who tackled Shamal to the ground once he got close enough. Kiyomi stopped dead in her tracks and suck in her much needed breath.
"Thank goodness! Now I can breathe." Kiyomi said in relief.
"Ow, you again?" Shamal sat up and stared at Tsuna.
"Shaml-san, please! Cure my disease." Tsuna pleaded.
"I told you, I don't attend to guys." Shamal stated as he stood up on his feet.
"Please do something." Tsuna begged.
"It's useless." Shamal said before walking away, leaving behind a crying Tsuna.
"You mean I did all that for nothing?" Kiyomi whined before she looked at Tsuna and said, "I'm sorry, Tsuna."
"Tsuna. With a short life. In the setting sun." The two of them looked down to see Reborn standing beside Tsuna. "Reborn!"
"Since when were you here?! And why are you reading haikus?" Tsuna exclaimed.
"Tsuna-kun." Everyone looked in front of them to see Kyoko standing in front of them.
"Kyoko-chan."
"What are you doing?" Kyoko asked.
Tsuna got up on his feet and said while brushing his bangs off his head, "I'm just walking around."
"Ah…You do body painting, Tsuna-kun?" Kyoko asked when she noticed the black and white skulls on his palms and forehead.
"Huh, no, they aren't! Don't look at me!" Tsuna pleaded while hiding the skulls.
"That's so embarrassing. Even though you're short, you have the longest waist in your class." One of the skulls said which freaked out Tsuna.
"Sawada Tsuna. With a short life. And short legs as well. Too many syllables." Reborn said while writing his haiku.
"Reborn! This is not a good time to be funny!" Kiyomi shouted.
"That's so funny." Kyoko said with a giggle.
"Hey, young ladies." A pair of arms wrapped around Kyoko and Kiyomi as Shamal appeared between them. "You're both very pretty. I'll smooch you." Shamal said while puckering his lips to them.
"Eh?"
"Not again!" Kiyomi attempted to get herself and Kyoko out of Shamal's arms.
"Hey, you!" Tsuna pushed Shamal away from them and stood in front of them. "Please don't get so close to Kyoko-chan and Kiyomi."
"Why? This doesn't concern you."
"This does concern me!"
"Even though you'll die in five minutes?" Shamal pointed at the sun setting.
"No way!" Tsuna shouted with widen eyes at the sun.
"You've been saying so many strange things. What a funny man." Kyoko said with a laugh.
"Kyoko-chan…" Kiyomi muttered as she stared at her with a sweat drop on her head.
"See, she like me. The kiss is coming soon." Shamal said before leaning towards the girls puckered lips.
Before that could happen, Tsuna let out a yell. Everyone turned their attention towards him who took his shirt off and charge at Shamal. "I'll protect Kyoko-chan and Kiyomi with my dying will!"
"That's so embarrassing! You call an 'elevator' and 'eberator'." One of the skulls said, stopping Tsuna dead in his tracks.
"That's so embarrassing! You can never get your timing right when singing." Hearing that embarrassment cause Tsuna curl up into a ball with tears running down his face.
'Talk about bad timing.' Kiyomi thought to herself while feeling sorry for Tsuna.
"You're so funny, Tsuna-kun. See you tomorrow at school." Kyoko said before walking away.
"Tomorrow, huh? There's no tomorrow for me. But, oh well. I was able to see Kyoko-chan at the end." Tsuna said in despair.
"Tsuna…" Kiyomi wished there was something she could do to help him get out of his depressing state. But unless Shamal decided to treat him, there's nothing she could do.
"That's so embarrassing and also nice. That's the first time you've talked to a person you liked for so long." One of the skulls said.
"That's true." Tsuna agreed with a sigh.
"Geez, Tsuna. You're a coward with no guts." Reborn stated.
"That's right. I'm just no good at all…" Tears began to overflow Tsuna's eyes as they ran down his face. "I'm going to die as 'No Good Tsuna'. Just leave me alone!"
"I got it, I got it. I'll cure you." Everyone turned towards Shamal with a surprised expression on their face. "Hold still right there."
"Really? But you have no instruments or medicine." Kiyomi stated.
Shamal smirked and said, "I have the instruments and medicine right here." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small metal container. He opened the container to reveal blue and white capsules. "I'm naturally able to take bacteria and viruses in easily. Right now I have 666 different fatal illnesses."
"Huh?" Both Tsuna and Kiyomi are stunned. They're wondering how it is possible when he looks so healthy.
"The reason that I'm fine is, by having diseases with two opposite symptoms, they cancel each other out. For example, having an illness that raises your temperature cancels one that lowers it." Shamal explained.
"No way…" Tsuna and Kiyomi said in disbelief.
"By the way, the illness that cancels out the Skull disease is the Angel Disease." Shamal pulled out one of the capsules and present it to them. "Right here."
Before Tsuna could accepted it, Shamal flicked the capsule up in the air. "Go!"
As the capsule was falling down, the capsule split open and out came a mosquito. Only it wasn't a regular mosquito, this mosquito had a trident-shaped stinger rather than a regular stinger.
"Trident Mosquito!"
"A mosquito?" Tsuna and Kiyomi repeated as the mosquito flew towards Tsuna.
"Shamal is usually a doctor, but he is also a hitman called 'Trident Shamal'. He uses 666 trident mosquitoes that each have a fatal illness-causing bacterium to make his enemies become ill." Reborn explained.
"That's so scary!" Tsuna exclaimed.
"Yet somehow effective." Kiyomi added.
"Do it, angel mosquito." Shamal ordered.
Everyone watched at the mosquito landed on Tsuna's arm before inserting its stinger into the arm and began the procedure.
"It's drinking the blood." Tsuna said in amazement before the mosquito flew back to Shamal. Tsuna looked at his palm to see the skull was disappearing.
"Tsuna, the skulls! They're gone!" Kiyomi pulled out a compact mirror from her bag and opened it for Tsuna. "See?"
Tsuna took the mirror and brush his bangs back to see the skulls were completely gone. Tsuna began to cry out tears in relief.
"Your illness is cured." Shamal announced.
"Thank you, Doctor Shamal."
"Live your life to the fullest." Shamal said before walking away.
"Why did you suddenly decide to cure Tsuna?" Reborn asked, stopping Shamal at his tracks.
"Well, I felt sorry for him."
"Huh?"
