The Reunion
Chapter 3: Scared
That night, Quinn was the one wanting to talk to Kurt, Noah, and Burt alone. As soon as they were alone, she says, "I lied, I'm scared."
Kurt takes her hand and says, "You are stronger than my mom, Quinn. You made it to eight months with no problems."
Then Noah takes her other hand and says, "I'm sorry, Quinn. Maybe if I hadn't..." Before he can say another word, Quinn slaps him and says, "Not your fault! Okay? Mr. H blamed self too! Waited six years! You have Kurt! Don't feel guilty now! Don't give Mrs. H trouble!" Then she looks at Burt before saying, "Either of you, Mr. H! Watched Kurt tell Mama! Don't make, tell me! Dead or alive! Okay? Not blind, see worse! Yes, fighter, but look! Hear voice, see body!" Then she held on tighter to Kurt's hand as she broke down.
Kurt lays down beside Quinn as Noah and Burt leave the room. Kurt started to sing Not While I'm Around, which Blaine sang to him years ago, as Quinn cried herself to sleep.

Then Noah comes back and says, "I saw Rachel was still here, and she told me Blaine sang that to you. When you were in the hospital in New York. Kurt, I know I'm with you now, but I don't want to lose Quinn." Noah gets quiet and Kurt can see him crying.
Kurt just takes Noah's hand and puts it on Quinn's belly. Then Rachel comes in and says, "I came to tell you I called Beth, and she's on her way, Puck. I'm really sorry about what I said to Quinn. I hope Lucy and Burt will give Kurt and you a second chance to be the dads you both wanted to be." Neither man responds as they look at Quinn and Rachel goes back to the waiting room. Beth never came to see Quinn and never gave a reason.
When Quinn gave birth to her twins, she had to have a C-section and almost died in the O.R. Then later, when she woke up, her speech was worse, and she didn't want anyone near her but Burt and her twins. Then, as she held Lucy, Burt heard her say, "Sowwy Beff." Over and over.
Then he storms out of the room, and when he sees Rachel, he says, "Call Beth now! I want to talk to her!" The moment Beth answers the phone, Burt screams, "I can't believe you Beth! Quinn almost died today, and she misses you so much! She's acting like Lucy is you!"
Soon Noah takes the phone and screams, "Get here, now! No excuses! Quinn needs you now, you find a way here or I'll come get you myself!" Then he ends the call and Carole says, "God, Lucy is going to need all the help she can get in thirteen years."
Then Kurt comes up to them and says, "So, am I. I mean, I love Puck, but when those two are together. I feel like I will be the next one having a stroke or heart attack, and don't even say it. I've heard it enough already from everybody else."
Carole and Rachel elbow Kurt before Carole says, "I'm sure Lucy or you will be saying it to Puck in thirteen years and I bet Santana twenty dollars on it last night."
Kurt looks at the door to Quin's room and says, "I wonder if someone else wants in on that bet. I know, I do." Then he goes to Quinn's room and sees Quinn asleep, lying on her side as she faces her twins, asleep in their incubators. Before Noah comes up behind him and wraps his arms around him.
As they watch Quinn sleep, Noah says, "I love you and I bet you or Lucy will have me whipped like Rachel did her two dads. By the time, Lucy and Burt are teenagers. Ha, Burt might be getting into trouble over having us as dads, but I doubt he'll be a bully. Plus, if he is like you..." Then they heard Quinn say, "Wike wou either way."
This makes Kurt chuckle and says, "Ha, what if Lucy is the one getting into fights and Little Burt is nothing like either of us. Liza Marie was my daughter, but reminded me and Blaine of Puck." Then Lucy grabs Noah's finger and little Burt grabs Kurt's. Before, Quinn saw Rachel with Burt and motioned for them to go around the men. Rachel takes a picture and sends it to Beth before posting it on Facebook. Then Quinn texts Burt a picture of Noah's gun closet with the message, "Thirty guns, twenty knives, and I bought him a hat like yours before what happened to Blaine and Liza Marie. Liza Marie picked it out. Don't tell either of them, Blaine dared her not to get the cap and she got it because he dared her not to. I never told Puck it was from Liza Marie. Because he cries just as much as Kurt does when someone says her name, still."
Then Kurt gets out his phone and leaves the room. Before the others heard him yell, "Beth, Lucy is not replacing you! Bullshit, Liza Marie didn't replace you in Puck's heart! You have been avoiding them for years and Puck only saw you a few times when you were a baby. He tried to have a relationship with you and you blew him off! Are you waiting for Quinn to die or what? They didn't have a choice, Beth! Whatever, Beth. You have a brother and sister that might never see their mother. Get your ass down here and come see them at least!" Then Quinn chuckles as she looks at Burt, who is trying to stifle a laugh.
