Thanks for all you reviews and followers for your support and advice. It is much appreciated. Also I am on a Pokemon battle training camp so I wish to battle in any tiers possible. If you're interested and possesses a Pokemon X and Y copy, send me your FC and let's have a spar ^^. Enough of me, let's hit the chapter now.
In the last chapter, André and Itzatl battled Snow and Floral. After a hard fought match, where both trainers rivaled with trust, innovation and tactics, Aguade was cut down by Foliat, both starters from the Nuevo region. Having recklessly jumped into Foliat's attack, Andre fell unconscious since most of his energy was drained.
Chapter 6: Hitting the road
″Aguade is unable to battle. Foliat is the last Pokemon standing, the winner of this battle
is Foliat and Snow Nightshade″
The professor closed his eyes as Andre fell flat on the grassy field. Putting yet another Oran twig in his mouth, he went to pick the boy up and smiled.
″You fought well Andre. Same goes to your partner Itzatl. It's also a good name for it. Keep it well and become stronger.″ He instructed him.
Snow congratulated Foliat but slowly rose with the bird Pokemon in her arms and went to Andre.
″I'm sorry Andre, maybe I went overboard with this.″ She apologized, passing her hands through his hair with an extremely worried look in her eyes.
″Don't worry Froslass, he is alright. He'll wake up soon enough. I'll be taking the lizard to the healing center he can recover.″ Sven said, calming her down while picking up Aguade in his arms.
Since the area was already peaceful to begin with, Forrest and Snow stayed next to Andre and waited for him to wake up.
(Andre's P.O.V)
Once I had heard that I've lost my first official match ever, all my tension vanished and the price of my foolish intervention hit me completely. I felt unable to stay standing and soon enough my eyelids felt so heavy that I collapsed and passed out for some time.
Once I was conscious again, I gazed upon the sky and saw three strange Pokemon floating and dancing around some kind of totem.
One of this Pokemon had a leaf cloth with a brown body. It floated over the earth, making small bushes grow and wither as fast.
The other one was clad in white and possessed a yellow body. As it flew around the totem, wild gusts of wind stirred up, making a dust tornado that severely scared the soil, yet dying down quickly.
The last one was covered by a bluish veil with two ribbon like appendages. It flew a little slower than the other two but still gracefully made rain fall, crystalize into ice then break down to vanish onto the earth.
They continued the same cycle for some time then noticed me and launched a ghostly wind that blew me away. I panicked tried to get away from them, but soon I felt myself being sucked up and I woke up with the feel of my hair being ruffled.
(Snow's P.O.V)
Andre was out and I had sent Vulpix and Foliat to play while I stayed to veil him. As I thought of how I was able to win that battle, I smirked with contentment.
″I guess I really have some talent in battling and I can manipulate well″ I though, remembering the desperate face Andre had made when I revealed synthesis and Absorb.
I then soon looked at him and I felt my heart melt a little. He looked so peaceful while sleeping. It was almost like a little child. To be honest, he still acted like one sometimes but the seriousness he had displayed when he took care of me made me mellow my thoughts.
″Nrrgghh″
Alarmed, I watched his face. It was twisting with fear and his body seemed to tense up.
″Get…away…from…me!″ he mumbled, completely confused" ″No doubt″ I thought. ″He's having a nightmare in the middle of the day.″
Listening only to my heart, I picked him in my arms and ruffled his hair, softly whispering to him to calm him down.
(Andre's P.O.V)
I didn't understand what was happening. After I had lost consciousness, I felt like transported to a very strange place. Cliché, you would say, but it was indeed what happened. What I saw there was three shape of Pokemon. One blue, the other golden and a last green one. Both where turning around some kind of big building covered by a very bright light. I couldn't see much past that. Then the three creatures seemed to notice me and went for me. As you can imagine, I ran the f* up but they were incredibly fast. One of them threw a gust of ghostly wind and blew me off my feet. The other one stirred a wave of water that engulfed me and the other one trapped me in what seemed to be a blue veil before tossing me into a dark pit. I scream only to see a shimmering light.
″DAMNIT ALL!″ I screeched, getting up so violently that my head hurt.
″Owww…″ A voice near me groaned.
This was only then that I regained contact with the reality realm… and noticed that I had head butted my white haired friend rather violently.
″That hurts. But it's okay. I'm fine″ Snow said, as if the sharp pain had already disappeared.
″That's good to know, I wouldn't want to hurt you.″ I sighed.
″So… what was that nightmare you've had? Your face would twist violently at some time out of pure fright.″ She asked with concern.
Andre tried to remember but to his grand surprise, not a single memory was found. He completely forgot all but the fear he had experienced.
″I…I cannot remember. It's as if nothing had happened at all.″ I said, unable to believe that I could forget something that terrified me not more than 5 minutes ago.
Snow interpreted that by post-traumatic amnesia and simply hugged me before helping me up as we made our way to the Pokemon Lab.
When we both arrived here, our Pokemon jumped into our arms.
″(Guade! Aguade)″ My blue lizard happily nuzzled me. His antics made that bad dream fall out of my mind almost immediately.
Snow got two Pokemon in her arms and almost fell over, but she stood her ground and even resisted their ticklish nuzzles, to what we all laughed about.
Professor forrest then asked for our attention. Remembering how scary he was when he got angry, everyone, even that sorry jokester that was Sven, immediately offered the black claded men their full attention.
″Well you three, it's time you got out of my lab and this city to hit the road. Stay alert of troublemakers thought. In such a big region, there are many. You're now free to go, but I'd suggest you two to give a call to your family before leaving. It's a tradition in our Pokemon labs, especially for youngun's like you. And of yeah, good luck to you!″ He said before leaving to start his daily topic studies.
″ He's not even gonna see us off. Classic Forrest. Anyway which one of you is gonna see their Mamanbo first on the facephone?″ Sven asked, smiling like he just told a good one.
I actually liked the joke a little and a timid chuckle managed to get past the hermetic defense of my lips while all Pokemon looked at him like as if he was an idiot.
(Meanwhile, on route 300)
''Alright shinx, get ready to use spark!'' A yellow spiked haired boy shouted, thrusting his fist forward.
''Don't let it hit bluffin and counter with Icy wind'' A random youngster called back while doing a swift commanding motion.
''You won't escape, Shinx, use Leer to stop is movement!'' The teen countered.''
'' bluf...wha?!'' The young trainer stuttered, speechless.
The yellow cub pokemon had charged a spark attack, only to be slightly stopped by the Ice type pinguin icy wind. However, in the blink of an eye, Shinx recovered from the counter attack and gazed menacingly at bluffin, making him stop dead in his track. The poor pokemon then got hit by a electrically charged yellow furball that left him no chance of ever getting up. Bluffin fainted on the spot. The cub then walked to the fallen bluffin and put his front paws over his body and roared to claim it's victory.
'' Good work Bluffin. Return and rest well! Aww man you're too strong, and i've never seen that pokemon before!, might I get your name?'' The youngster asked as he returned his fallen camarade.
The yellow haired teen looked at him, considering his options, then he nodded as Shinx came to him and jumped in his arms, looking concerned.
'' Don't worry partner, here i'm safe. My name is Thomas and i'm 16. This is my partner, Shinx and i want to be the best trainer there is!'' The yellow haired teen introduced himself as Shinx jumped off his arms in order to roar it's approval.
''Well good luck with that! my dream is to become a gym leader someday!'' the Youngster informed as he made his way back to the city.
''Good luck for your dream little guy. Bye!'' He answered while waving goodbye.
Shinx looked at his trainer and gave the pokemon thumbs up. '' I know, we should go to route 301 now in order to get some shelter in the nearby caves. Our dream will be fulfilled, I promess.'' The teen vowed under the approving gaze of the electric pokemon.
(Back to green oak's side)
The trio proceeded to the city's pokemon center in order to call their parents and inform them of the situation.
'' Sooo who's the first one to call their blissey first?'' Sven asked, getting illico six-tail slappped by vulpix as his gilla scratched him a little.
''I'm going first but please Sven, no strange jokes or i'm going to be laugh at by my relative for the rest of my life'' Andre pleaded while Sven had trouble not laughing.
''(Gil...)'' The purple lizard pokemon sighed, a sweatdrop hanging on the back of his head, as if it was saying that telling Sven not to tell botherline weird jokes was like telling him not to breathe.
''(Guade)'' The salt lizard pokemon nodded, agreeing with his poison type relative.
Andre then went and called his family via vidéophone.
*bip...bip...kachak!*
Erza's face appeared on the monitor.
''Hey mom!'' Andre greeted
''No way! Hey there baby. How is it going? How many pokemon did you catch yet?, Did you wash everyday? Did you get laid?'' Andre's mom spitted as if she hadn't see him in several years.
Andre sweatdropped at her mom's antics but before he could answer, the poor teen got pushed out of the screen by Sven and surprisingly, Snow decided to join Sven in his antics.
''Hi miss, the answers are...'' Sven started
''He is simply too weak. He got no pokemon yet, he's doing terrible'' Snow followed, her face red from holding her laughter back.
''(Pix, Pix!)'' The fox pokemon growled, already chukling.
Sven then took the baton back. ''As for the washing, you can count that out. He smell so bad that he reeks fouler than an horde of muk followed by a Perishroom. As for the laid thingy. You see that lovely white-haired girl here? Well let's say that she has powerful finales that can be heard througout the entier lab!''
''(Gillllaaaaa!)'' The Purple lizard pokemon couldn't take much more and rolled on the floor, followed by his bud itzatl that seemed to die from laughter.
''Whaaaaa! you mean that he got laid?'' Andre's mom gawked, obviously not even paying attention to the three other answers.
''Yes...ma'am...hahahahaha! Oh my Arceus, i'm dying'' Sven fell on his rear, laughing like it was nobody's business
Of course, I had no chance at even justifiying myself since even my mom and little sister, who arrived while my mom was barraging Sven with questions
''So Lil'Andre sucks and got laid? That was onixpected!'' Miriam teased, laughing uncontrollably like buizel battling a Geodude.
''Seems like it!'' Snow replied, laughing even more.
At this i started to get annoyed as an anime like ''annoyed temple'' appeared. As couldn't take anymore so I simply, exploded...
''OK THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON LONG ENOUGH! I HAVE CAUGHT A POKEMON! I DIDN'T GET LAID AND I WASH MYSELF TWICE A DAY! NOW QUIT LAUGHIN OR I'LL BE MESSING YOU GUYS UP WITH MY SALTY CLAW.''
I roared as i turned red from both anger and embarassment.
''Whoa dude! simmer the heck down!'' Sven said, putting both hand on my shoulders as I breathed heavily to catch it, as all that shouting had knocked all wind out of me.
''I know the way to calm him down'' Snow sweetly smiled while approaching Andre.
'' Oh really? What would that be snowy?'' Miriam asked, rather interested by the answer.
Snow just winked at her and came behind me and slowly hugged me tightly. I felt the same soothing power that I had experienced when I had woken up from my nightmare. It felt like a warm blanket over my shoulders and I couldn,t help but simmer down.
Of course, my mom smiled sweetly at this but she didn't say any comments.
''(Gil! Gilla!)'' (Isn't that cute, look at them) The little purple pokemon said
''(Vul...Vulpix)'' (Peuh... I don't approve him either way!)'. The fox pokemon disdaingully spat, turning away from the scene.
''(Aguade Agu Aguade)'' ( Look at them awhawhaw. Now boss's gonna simmer down)
After all pokemon had finished talking, i took a breather and ended the call by wishing good times to my sister and Mother.
''Ouf, that was tiring. thanks Snow for the help.'' I said, making way for snow to go on the videophone.
(Snow P.O.V)
''Thanks Andre.'' I thanked, making my way to the videophone.
I felt a little stressed out since it would be the first time I would talk to mom since some time. Aside of Andre and Sven, who I was really fond off, my mom was everything I had left. I had no other person, no other friend but my Vulpix by my side.
''Here comes nothing'' I muttered to myself before dialing the number of my home.
A beautiful youg woman appeared onscreen. She was like her daughter, with long luminous white hair, blue irises and pale skin. She was realy dazzling with her pale blue dress tied wth a darker blue knot at her hips. Her eyes were expressing a joy that is out of this world.
''Hi my daughter, fresh snow to my lap.'' She melodically greeted me. Hearing her voice almost made my knee weak of joy. I loved to ear my mom talking.
''Hi mom, i'm happy to hear and see you again'' I replied, not able to hide the emotion in my voice.
'' The same goes for me dear, I take it that your journey is going well up to now.'' She asked.
I showed her my Vulpix and Foliat. '' Yes mother, i even got a new pokemon.'' I proudly
''I see that your going well Vulpix, your fur is still as golden as your heart is'' She kindly said while smiling kindly to the fox pokemon.
''( Yes I am, and I keep Snow out of range of trouble most of the time)'' the fire type added, before swinging her 6 tails in a dignified motion
''I felt a little darkness in your answer pix, have something happened already?'' The beautiful woman asked, piercing through her like a dagger with her eyes.
I could see both boys gulping behind me, i couldn't blame them. My mom's gaze was so piercing you couldn't lie to her. It was simply impossible. As such,Vulpix told my mom about the whole event with the native, which was also how i could introduce both Sven and Andre.
Both politely introduced themselves and i could see my mom staring at Sven pensively before wishing him a good journey and asking him to watch over me. The same goes for andre.
''Well mom, this is how i'm doing up to now.'' I finished while getting myself ready to cut the commuication.
''I see my daughter. Don't take all upon yourself, find your path and rest upon your friends in order to keep yourself from falling appart. ALways remember that I love you.'' She points before signing off.
''Bye mother, I love you'' The white haired teen sighed lovingly before signing off.
The white haired woman then looked up to the blue-purple sky and sighed. ''So it's already time...''
Meanwhile, the crew then went to buy supplies for the road and got a map and some bags in order to leave for Green oak's forest Pine town, where the first gym awaited the trio.
''Let's go guys, on to route 300'' Andre shouted, pumping his fist forward as itzalt made a jump and a victory pose.
''Let's have some nice adventure miltanking, towards the Galapagos and even further!'' Sven laughed while Gilla made a two finger salute, which would become his trademark.
''I can finally say that i'm starting my adventure!'' I happily replied, while foliat and Vulpix spread their tails and leafy wings.

StevenZ12: Well now i finally got the lacking chapter in, hope that you guys will enjoy it even though there isn't much happening in it.
2020 Update: Rereading this story made me realize how ambitious the project of multiple caracther stories was, especially for a fledgling author...not that I am anywhere near being a prolific author now. So I will edit out many extra caracthers that I had originally planned, they will be there, as they are important, but wont have dedicated chapters so the story can be more stramlined in the beginning. I mean, its only chapter 6, multiple caracther arc can happen later :D
I am hoping that old and new readers will appreciate this new and improve Legend of Quetzar, if not, at least i'll finish this project. Take care people.
