StevenZX12: We are in 2020 now and i can't believe I left this on hiatus for so long. So a few things have changed so I will make a quick rundown here.

I removed the last two ''filler chapters'' I felt like it wasnt such a good idea to kind of randomly insert 2 new substories before the crew even had their first major city arcs. The caracthers won't be forgotten of course, but they will be re-introduced a little later. Yes life has been in the way a lot, but i am back. I am much older and realist so I won't mindlessly promise that i will update this story on a set time frame, especially while i have other things to deal with with my adult life heh. However, I will continue and finish this story for sure, however long it may take !

Train On guys and enjoy the chapter!

Quetzar Recap: In the last chapter, the crew stayed in a clearing to rest and restore. Andre and Snow witnessed the fight between two forest dwellers and moved in to rescue one of them after their stomach clutching battle. This act of selflessness gained them two new companions and the gratitude of the bunny pokemon. They now continue their walk toward the city hidden in the trees, what awaits them there? You will know in 3,2,1...

Chapter 8: The City Hidden in the Trees

It was a beautiful morning like there was many on their route to the next city. Birds were chirping, bug types were buzzing around on the many flowers that littered the clearings around route 301. It was truly a pittoresque view and one could have easily stayed there for weeks on end due to the peaceful and lovely setting it created. It was the green district alright, full of nature and wonders. Andre used that time to train his pokemon a bit, as he was a trainer after all and he needed all the practice he could get if he wanted to have a chance. He didn't say it loudly, but his first loss to Snow was not entirely forgotten, and he made a honor point to not let it happen again. Itzatl, his starter pokemon was definitely on the same wavelenght, as he practiced with hardor mastering his dragon dance, scratch and Water gun attack, knowing he would need to be ready to give its all. Snow on the other hand, was just enjoying the travelling with the two boys. Something about being sourrounded by nature was so deeply invigorating that often she would just start dancing and humming happily and mindlessly, to the amusement...and admiration of both Sven and Andre. The latter couldn't help to blush at the spectacle offered by the carefree white haired maiden. Boys will be boys, Sven would say when catching the red dust on the lentimas native. However he still minded them to march forward...and soon enough, they reached the outskit of the city.

Andre was the first to spot it and it looked...like a giant forest?

''Oi Sven? Are you sure we are in the right direction...? I mean it looks like we are going in another big forest, weren't we suppose to be close to a big city?'' He inquired as Itzatl jumped on his head and squinted his eyes, trying to see as far as his trainer could.

''Yeah...i don't really see anything that looks like a human city over there boss'' The salt lizard pokemon pointed out in his tongue. Andre, who caught a gist of it due to his pokemon intonation chuckled, happy that he wasn't the only one.

Snow and Vulpix had to agree, they couldn't really see anything beyond a huge wall of trees in the distance. ''I agree with Andre here...I don't see anything..'' She doubled down as the prissy shiny vulpix jumped in her arms, tired of walking.

Sven smirked at their antics. ''Calm your mind down you little magbys, we are about to enter a shedinja village after all. It's suppose to look like a forest. This is

Xoukitekpatl kuauhtla, Sven replied. Andre perked up , having reconized the sound of it. ''Jade forest? Basically?'' He pointed out, having Sven and Snow look at him in shock.

''You know this language Andre?'' Snow asked, a bit impressed of his knowledge. Sven impercibly frowned, waiting on the answer. ''Yes I do, this is a tongue my mom taught me. I could say that this is my second tongue, after unovian of course since I was born there.' Andre explained, kicking on a nearby rock in slight nervosity. It wasn't anything special, after all. Sven relaxed, and Snow giggled.

Vulpix opened an interested eye at Andre ''Hmmph! Seems that at least you'll make yourself useful to us in the long run...'' She yipped toward Andre with her snout in the air. Snow petted the fox pokemon in a 'don't be like that manner' as Sven laughed merrily. This journey was going to be interesting for sure.

Before long, they finally arrived at Xoukitekpatl kuauhtla... Needless to say, Snow and Andre had their eyes, ears and nose full of new sensations and experiences... Sven simply chuckled before so much awe. It was clear that these two hadn't travelled a lot and Nuevo was full of those mesmerizing sceneries and poignant experiences waiting for them. Still he couldn't help but enjoying to see their face full of wonder. He could definitely see why they loved it of course. The crew couldn't help it and started visiting the city.

It was as though that the entire nature was living with the city in a close symbiosis. Most of the buildings were made of wood. Andre pointed out that while they seemed to be wooden structures all around, they did look pretty solid and durable. A few shops and buildings were still made of cement and steel, but climbing plants were creeping all over them, creating perfect visual harmony. The streets themselves had been flattened, but there weren't any cement or stone, the road was still nice, and perfectly even, while being completely made of soil. Some cables could be made out of the little line of earth on the ground, but that didn't really made it unpleasant to the view. Another interesting feature of that city was that some places were on the water, maintained above ground by stilts. There were a lot of people around the part of this area, as it was the downtown… however, there were more part to that city that Andre wanted to make out… it seemed that there was a big rocky structure at the most western point of the city, on the other side than the neighborhood on stilts, that soared to the sky. The teenager noted that it seemed relatively darker out there than anywhere he went at that point. Being a city in a forest, there was quite a lot of scents in the air, wet leaves, budding flowers, random pokemon spreading sweet scent in the air in a form of gratitude. Those living in the city were living in harmony with nature in this sort of Oasis. The experience was cathartic, and Andre felt very happy to have left his lentimas hometown to travel. It was amazing.

*Grumble Grumble*

The trio stopped, trying to indentify the sound.

*Grumble Grumble Grumble*

A certain white haired teen blushed. A certain golden furred fox sweatdropped...

''Well someone wants to swallow...'' Another older teen pointed out.

''Those are sounds i never expected to hear from her...'' a small salt lizard pokemon expressed in his tongue.

Snow blushed and looked away, her stomach having been made itself heard and reminding the crew that they just had spent a few days in the forest and that their next destination should be the nearest Pokemon Center for many reasons.

Always the savior, Sven pointed to the internationally reconized red roofed building standing close to the water.

''Let's get there then. We can get a goood shower, rooms to stay for a while and food that will make me look like a second rate chef Drapion'' The older teen said as he walked them to the center.

Both Snow and Andre, looking at how dirty they actually were, nodded in agreement and the merry trio made it to the Pokemon Center.

Being in the forest for so long did give the crew some craving for a warm shower and cleaner clothes. Right after checking their Pokemon in with Nurse Joy and healing them, as well as checking on them for any injuries or diseases, Andre and Snow were poised to shower.

''I am going to take a much needed shower boys' Snow warned her two travelling companions before taking a dry towel given by Nurse Joy and heading toward her room, her classy Vulpix following quickly behind.''

''Are you sure, I don't think it is the right time for you to get Soak' Sven mischievously noted, eye smiling to her, earning himself a groan from the whole group… except Andre who visibly didn't get the pun'''

''Wait what? Soaked? I don't see why you all are groaning'' Andre sheepishly whined, rubbing the back of his head.

''See? At least there is somebody who agrees with me'' Sven eagerly noted, ackwardly high fiving with the young man.

''Anyway, I'll be in there for a while.'' Can you guys go around and find info about what we can to here?' The white haired teen asked her friends.

That request half surprised Andre, who wondered, rightfully, ''Why would we do that? I wanna shower too you know and i am sure that Sven wants to too''

Snow inwardly smirked and looked at Andre straight in the eyes ''Please?'' She softly asked, plunging her eyes into his. Andre felt his insides turn into mush. This girl's puppy dog eyes trick was way too strong...he couldn't help but feel his resistances fade away while gazing in those beautiful silver eyes... he gave in.

''All right, all right. I'll do it'' Andre said, defeated... There was no refusing these eyes... what was he becoming. A snubbull on a leash? He wondered as he and the newly healed itzatl

Snow smiled inwardly, loving the effect she had on the boy. Deciding to leave before the black haired teen changed his mind, the clear skinned teen went into her room, and a few minutes later, water falling down could be heard.

Sven then turned to the pokemon food stand in the center, saying that a little burger before going to the pokemon store to stock on little supplies wouldn't hurt. He knew that with all that was going on in this city, they could be there for quite some time.

Andre was still somewhat reeling from the cuteness overload he experienced back in the center. ''That girl is going to be the death of me, I swear by my mother's tangrowth...'' He muttered as he wandered around the city, drinking in the sights and his eyes sharpened for any sign of interesting things to do. After a little while of strolling around the lovely forest city, Itzatl spotted something interesting happening. His excited grunts alerted Andre.

''You found something fun to do buddy?'' He asked the water type who excitely jumped up and down in the affirmative.

The salt lizard pointed in the direction of the interesting occurence that he had spotted and looked at his trainer hopping that he gets the message. Message that Andre did get.

''Let's go, crush boy, we are going to miss what's going on!'' The pokemon growled in his tongue, pointing the spot again, trotting toward it in an effort to get him to follow.

''Haha Alright Alright, were going'' Andre said as he followed his starter toward the object of his excitement.

Snow came back out from her shower, and she could safely say that she missed the soft caress of hot water on her skin. Also, having her hair tied in a long ponytail during travel was tiring, and she enjoyed letting them flow instead, especially given how beautiful her silvery white her was. She took some time looking at herself in the mirror and couldn't help giggling at how cute she found herself to be. She kind of understood why Andre was finding it difficult to refuse her. She took some time to think about her journey so far. Granted she had left Unova in order to finally travel the newly discovered region, and she was somewhat apprehensive of travelling alone, however, joining up with Andre in the plane, then with Sven, she knew that she wouldn't have it any other way. Talking about Andre, she did find him cute, as he was relatively toned, funny and a good spot. Her Vulpix, waking up from an impromptu nap, came at her with that regal walking that characterized her and sat on the white haired teen's lap, visibly waiting for something.

''Yes I know what you want Vulpix, it's about time I petted you and combed your fur yes?''' She kindly inquired, softly brushing Vulpix's fur and petting her under her chin., earning herself a growl of satisfaction from the little fire Vixen.

''Yes indeed, your pets are amaaaaazi…'' The fox pokemon replied… well more like tried to reply, since with Snow scratching the right spot, Vulpix found out that her whole though process was vanishing and made her limbs as soft as putty.

''What are you thinking about our journey so far Vulpix?'' Snow asked the fire pokemon while brushing her tail.

''Well to be honest, I am greatly enjoying this journey. I have encountered a lot of pokemon I never even dream about their existence, we have somewhat decent partners in travelling, although I do not trust that human you call Andre…I don't approve him yet.''

Snow couldn't help but to laugh at this. ' Hahaha, why do you say that, Andre's alright, and you didn't even mention Sven. And what about flora and Pint?' She asked, wiping the little tears that had formed in the corner of her eyes.

(You didn't let me finish Snow, Flora and Pint are really nice companions, although I wish Alpint would less pokemon food, that elephant eats like a mountain, I wonder if he had any member of the Swine family in his ancestors. Sven is just so immature I cannot believe this guy is 18 sometimes, his jokes aren't funny at all.'' She disdainfully spat while hopping off her lap, after licking her cheek as thanks ''That is for the best trainer of all!'' The vixen yipped in pokemon language before nibbling Alpint, who woke up with a lazy grin before making his way to the beautiful white haired teen that captured him. He couldn't make it quite well, but she had that calming aura around her, Alpint, being a very peaceful species, enjoyed greatly her touch and could easily spend a whole afternoon being petted and have his back pine tree taken care off as well. Wanting to voice his impressions of their travel as well, the grass elephant started to growl and trumpet happily while doing a quantity of faces and expressions, hoping his trainer would get his words as well.

Seemingly grasping something along the lines of: ''It's a great journey and I am happy to be her'' The white haired teen smiled sweetily at him.

''Thank you cutie tree'' Snow replied, petting Alpint on his trump, making him let out a happy trumpet before nuzzling Snow.''

Some time passed , Snow waiting for her two travelling companion to return to the Pokemon Center so they could plan their stay. Getting Bored, she opened the television. A show was on and the content presented quickly captured the silver haired teen's eyes.

Reporter: Hello everyone! Here I am live from the temple here in Jade Forest city. Today is a special day as Nuevo's first contest season will soon be underway. I am in the company of Wallace, The contest Master of Hoenn and Serena, the current Kalos Queen, that will be the guest of honor for the very first contest here in Nuevo. Also we have our Champion Ahmad and the green district boss Cameron…First off all, on behalf of all the contestant here in Nuevo, we thank you for your most esteemed presence to such an event.

Wallace: I believe I speak for all of us to say that we are pleased to be here today.

When Snow registered that one of her favorite celebrity was on television…there was only one thing that she could do...

In the pokemon center, they could, for a very brief while, hear a very high pitched and loud scream that seemed to panic all the pokemon currently having some much needed rest. Quickly enough, the sound died down, but the poor people and pokemon resting couldn't help but wonder what could have gotten such a reaction out of someone, before Nurse Joy turned the main lobby's tv on, and with the large number of young female…and guys present... well let's say that many relationships were endangered because of the fangirl cries and the boy's blushes.

Back to Snow though, to say that her pokemon were startled would be an understatement. They were utterly blown away by Snow fangirling excitedly. It startled Foliat so hard that her head hit the ceiling and confusedly hovered down on the bed, her eyes replaced by swirls. Once she had snapped out of it, the little bird was tempted scream at Snow for waking her up from such a blissful sleep, but once her eyes made contact with the TV, the green pokemon couldn't help but gawk at the sight of a very beautiful fox like pokemon doing some neat tricks with her trainer.

''Delphox, let us start the routine that we practiced for this exhibition!'' Serena shouted while her fox pokemon squealed in excitement, before taking on the serious attitude befitting her species, igniting her flaming wand in order to focus. Seeing that her pokemon was now receptive to receive her commands, the kalos queen proceeded with her next command.

''Let's start of by a calm mind'' Serena commanded as she took place next to her partner..

The fox pokemon was then surrounded by a bluish aura that grew slowly red and fiery, initiating a series of concentric ring of fire around both of them, as if unconsciously the pokemon was releasing a heat wave attack controlled by her strong psychic powers. Once the display had reach it's breaking point, Delphox's wand ignited with multicolored flames, giving Serena the cue to the next command.

''Let's set up the finale, my partner'' Serena commanded, while twirling with her own flaming wand, gracefully dancing in and out of the flaming circles. Then out of the blue, Delphox used her psychic power to make both of them float and she made it look soo easy it was laughable. Changing the property of her fire attacks, controlling her psychic attacks and making them fly? That's what you call high level. What was even more impressive was that Serena made sure that Delphox was the star of the performance. The two partners finished their routine by landing in the middle of the flaming concentric fire circles, the latter disspating in a lovely emberish fashion, expertly adding some wonder to the finish... Or so everyone thought...

''Let's surprise them with our finale!'' Delphox telepathically conveyed to Serena, who smiled in excitement. Immediately afterward, a meteor shower of psychic energy appeared out of nowhere, revealing the big finale to be a future sight attack. The fox pokemon, without any command from Serena, fired a fiery wind to destroy the comets summoned by the future sight and they exploded in a beautiful blue and green fire. Delphox and Serena then landed next to each other. ''Finish!''

The crowd present within the Temple went completely primeape to say the least. The whole city vibrated from all the roars and applauses the current Kalos Queen received after that breathtaking performance. Snow was almost having an out of body experience, the grace at which Serena had moved, the complexity of her moves and tricks, how happy her pokemon looked when they were performing, the crowd, the atmosphere of the contest temple…she wanted it, she wanted to taste it. The same could be said for the foliat..the little bird was mesmerized by the two living legends she just had witnessed... She wanted to grow beautiful and pretty like the Delphox and do all this twirling in the air too.

''I can do it too!'' The little pokemon cried in her language happily before trying to use synthesis and do loops in the air, just to almost hit a wall, fortunately saved by the white haired teen that had stopped to listen to the reporter thanking Serena for that otherworldly display, and that she didn't need to go all out, because she could cause the new contestant to try too hard. She sheepishly admitted that having Ash Ketchum for a boyfriend was giving her arguably bad habits… likes the one of never holding back under any circumstances.

''Whoever that Ash Ketchum is, he is one lucky Growlithe'' Snow chirped, humming happily about what she just witnessed. There was one thing she was sure however, she would spend her time making her pokemon look classy and try Pokemon Contests. It just called her.. however, she knew that there was a bright fire inside of her, a fire that craved battling from time to time. But For now, it was perfectly fine for her to pursue this Goal. Before taking that decision, she did decide to ask her pokemon first, and the answer was quite representative. Alpint had shown very little interest, preferring to battle than try to look cute and awesome. Vulpix and Foliat, on the other hands, were highly enthusiastic at starting their training regimen for the contest that were to come in 3 days.

''I'll tell the boys the news when they'll come back'' Snow decided, getting back in her bed to get some sleep, the last hours had just been crazy and she was getting weary of all that screaming and emotions that coursed through her during the early afternoon…

Andre and his faithful blue tailed companion were running toward a big commotion that seemed to take place within the city's Central place, which in fact was more of a gigantic central park than an actual place. The black haired teen couldn't help but whistling in admiration when he saw how the Central Park had integrated nature and manmade structures. There was the grocery shop, covered in foliage that not only guaranteed a clean air for people and pokemon to breathe, but also acted as an excellent temperature regulator and provided much needed shadowing for the occasional tropical fruit that transited by it, such as these bananas and Nanab berries that were known to wilt easily when the heat was too dry and crisp. Many rows of trees were decorating the little alleys within the park. A movie theater seemingly made in wood could be seen at the northeast side of the park, and was that a pokemon school?... that was made out of rocks and wood, in a pure natural tradition.

The salt lizard pokemon seemed to share his trainer's awe as his eyes glimmered at the marvelous sight in front of him. He made his admiration known by an appreciative growl of his name.

''Yeah I know Itzatl, this place is amazing! How did they even manage pull such harmony off?'' The teen replied, deciding to also release Peppit, after all it was no fun that only Aguade got a eyeful of the beautiful park. Once released, the little rabbit pokemon humped in excitement while shouting his name before jumping straight in Andre's arms.

''Finally damn it, It was getting cramped in here...also Whoa...this looks so cool!'' The grass pokemon squawked in wonder, babilling his name while nuzzling the chest of Andre, who couldn't help but to note how warm the pokemon was.

''Yo Peppy, get down there, this place rocks mon!'' greeted the water starter in his own way, sticking out a paw in order to have a monfist with Peppit.

The rabbit happily obliged, setting down from his trainer's arms and standing on his rear paws, admiring the view along with his buddy.

''Have you seen how this place is beautifully built? I can't believe it! I've got to take some picture and send them to mom!'' The teen commented before he froze, fighting down the urge to slap his head off…

''What's up?'' Both pokemon asked, their head cocked to the side while casting an inquisitive stare at their trainer.

The teen shaked his head in aggravation and fear ''I completely forgot to call mom, they must be really mad at me now…'' He lamented while shuddering...

Meanwhile in Lentimas Town…

Andre's mom, Erza was currently doing some well-designed pastas for her and Myriam along with her friends, that were to come later this night. She then caught sign of her ever present Tangrowth looking wishfully to the sky, while sighing in a slightly longing expression...

Just from the way the big pokemon was agitating her vines, Erza knew that her overgrown pokemon was missing someone…and it wasn't Trevenant.

''You miss Andre, right Tantan?'' She warmly asked while soothingly placing a hand on the top of her head.

The grass vine pokemon affirmatively nodded while looking once more to the clouds…

''That little scoundrel haven't called once ever since he went, and it has been around two weeks now…I suppose he found friends to stay with…'' The mom softly whispered, her her gaze pensively following her Tangrowth's

''Or he found a lovely girl to screw hahaha!'' A rather loud voice scoffed out of nowhere.

Myriam had come back. The wild blue haired Teenager seemed covered in dust after her usual training within reversal mountain.'' I am going to chop down his pair next time I get my hands on him…that little ungrateful brother could at least have emailed us or something!'' Myriam raged, her rather hard slap on the table creating cracks on it.

''My word Myriam, what have you done this time?.'' Ezra asked, flagger basted by her daughter's appearance.

A pink blush appeared and she looked away…''Well this time, he was pretty good….'' She barely replied.. looking to the side with an embarrassed expression on her face.

''What!?'' The poor, surprised mom shouted, making a nearby flock of Pidgey fly away in fear…

Back at Jade city…

Andre shuddered an instant while thinking about her mom's reaction, but he knew she was kind, so he would be forgiven… after an earful that is. Right now he was much more interested in the battle that seemed to take place in a public battlefield that was made available by the city in order for people in need of pokemon battles just to come on down and practice. Needless to say that they were very popular and they were full. It was hard to believe that this was considered a relatively small city in the green district, because all these features were huge. Nodding at his pokemon, the trio decided to come closer to see the battle that was unfolding in one of these Pokemon Battlefields.

''Let's go Nova, use Quiver Dance!'' A tall hooded trainer shouted while a rather majestic moth pokemon clad in what looked like a pink coat shining with a glittery silver powder made his call heard and started doing some complex yet majestic dance in the air, momentarily mesmerizing the audience while the said moth pokemon's stats were raised a step further.

The other trainer, a tall teenager with a green pokemon ranger vest outlined with dark stripes, black shorts and black sneakers smiled, loving the look of pure bliss the bug type was giving off, didn't issue a command until the Bug Pokemon had completed her dance.

To his right was a pokemon that Andre Never had seen before. It looked like a breed between an armadillo and a hedgehog. It was four legged and seemed quite agile for a pokemon seemingly on the pudgy side of things. In place of spikes the pokemon possessed leaves that formed a spiky fur pattern. It ears looked a little bit like jagged leaves and his face sported a cute tiny red snout. The Pokemon looked like he was obviously grass type, but looked like it could be dual typed.

''Dilloweed , Let's start by using Defense Curl'' The tall trainer commended, extending his hand for emphasis

''Got it boss!'' The green pokemon curled up in a ball with a blue aura surrounding him faintly, raising his defense one step further

Seemingly not afraid to have his Pokemon multitasking, the ranger vest trainer took it further beyond ''Now Pair that up with a leaf Shield!'' The Ranger like trainer commanded.

''Not so fast man! Nova use Silver Wind'' The bug maniac countered, knowing that leaf shield raised both defenses at once.

The Armadillo pokemon summoned some leaves of energy and shuddered while the leaves hardened and seemed to stick on the grass Pokémon's skin. Then a silverish glow appeared just in time to receive the concentric rings of bug energy. However, the pokemon didn't seem that hurt.

''How defensive is that thing?'' The pokemon trainer said..., as Nova was the strongest Pokemon he had.

''I am not done with you man. While it might not have been that effective, you definitely aren't any run of the mill trainer. I will now go all out in my strategy. Dilloweed, Sunny Day and Leaf Shield, then use rollout" The tall hooded trainer commanded, trusting his fist forward after this flurry of commands.

''It won't be that easy to make me flinch, my bug pokemon are tough. Nova Let's go for a second Quiver Dance, then use Struggle Bug!'' The bug trainer ordered, gripping his net in anticipation.

The Regalia pokemon twirled happily before sending red orbs of energy toward the armadillo pokemon that just had completed setting up an harsh sunlight and Considerably raised his defenses with a boosted leaf shield. The red orbs made contact with the Tumbleweed pokemon and exploded, but despite the super effective hit, the armadillo Pokemon looked relatively aright, and before the moth pokemon had the time to counter, Dilloweed hit her twice with rollout. Dazed, the moth pokemon landed on the ground…

''Are you okay Nova?'' His trainer demanded, worried about the two super effective hit his partner had taken. The bug pokemon weakly looked to his trainer, begging him to let her continue. But before her trainer could have taken the decision, his opponent told Dilloweed to stand down.

''That is enough young man, you battled admirably! Come to the gym at some point for an official battle'' The man cheered the other up. He gave a Sitrus Berry to Paramoth and smiled when the Regalia pokemon smiled back and fluttered all the way to her trainer's head.

''Thanks man, that was a really great match, and that Dilloweed is just wow'' The trainer praised in awe. ''I gotta go to the pokemon center now, but man I have to say, that you will be a formidable opponent'' He said, leaving the scene soon after.

Andre's blood was boiling from what he saw. This must have been one of the gym leaders here, and he was super tough. He honestly didn't think that he could win right now, but he was really eager to get in the arena and battle it out for the Nuevo Gym challenge. His Aguade was already making jabbing and swiping motions while Peppit was jumping up and down, a wild blaze burning in his eyes…
''Yes guys, we will train hard and become stronger, then we'll challenge the first gym leader'' Andre eagerly declared while hitting the air with a balled fist. They then decided to go back in the pokemon center, as it would almost be time to eat supper. Along the way, the three partners grabbed some other information before entering the pokemon center.

With Sven...

During that afternoon, Sven had been getting pokemon supplies for the group, and he knew both teens would grab their share in their backpack once it would be time to go. He enjoyed greatly the Green District as it was full of nature. It was strange however. He wasn't really a fan of crowded places, enjoying the great outdoors as a great change of pace. He visited places that he knew about before, such as the Central Park, where he remembered having studied in that very school.

''Man I have to say it has been a while, Don't you think Gilla?'' The young adult commented, gazing to the levy ceiling, stretching lazily on the grassy ground.

''Yeah man, we haven't come back in a while'' His poison lizard replied, enjoying his quiet rest atop Sven's head.

''Oh? Do you have history with this place? I wanna know!'' Added dessoula, his crow like pokemon that was hovering around his person, his eyes lit up with interest.

Sven did not feel very trilled to share this just yet however. ''I'll talk no jutsu y'all another time, let's head back for now guys.'' He replied as he headed with the new stock to the red roofed building, his pokemon in tow.

''My story is a bit much, you guys don't need to know for now...'' The older teen thought, sighing softly as he brought back his paid haul of the day

Later that evening...

Snow, Andre and Sven were in the lobby of the pokemon center, with a big plate where all three travelling companion just picked in and ate. Their pokemon Alpint, Aguade, Foliat, Vulpix, Peppit, Gilla, Dessoula and Kettrufle were chowing on their berry stew and pokemon food.

''So Andre, Found anything interesting?'' Snow asked while eating a tamato berry and roast beef sandwich.

The black haired teen swallowed his burger before replying, his eyes full of stars; ''Well there is a pokemon gym here that seem to focus on grass types, a contest hall and a temple near the outskirts of the city''

''Ohh I see, so Forrest is still a Gym Leader?'' Sven inquired, smiling at his partner pokemon. ''He's a good friend of mine!''

''Really?'' Andre shouted, taken by surprise by that statement.

''Well, as a matter of fact, yeah'' The older trainer sheepishly admitted while rubbing his head.

''Well, you mind tell us about him then Sven?'' Snow asked, softly wiping her mouth with a napkin.

''Maybe a little later Snowhead'' Sven dismissed, the man didn't eager to talk much for now, but he still enjoyed the company of the two teens.

''So Snowy, what will you do now?'' Andre questioned the beautiful white haired teen.

''Well Sleepyhead, I will enter the pokemon contest circuit instead of the gyms. I will probably still battle a few for fun, but I just love the way the contestant makes the best come out of their pokemon while still looking stylish and beautiful themselves'' The silver eyed girl enthusiastically declared, joined by a happy yip from Vulpix and a whoop the loop from Foliat.

''Well I am pretty sure a cute girl like you would do well at contest…'' Andre though, a slightly perverted grin spreading on his face. This didn't go unnoticed by Snow, thus she decided to mess with the boy a bit...

''What is it Andre? Are you imagining me with a cute outfit on?'' She innocently asked while making a cute face and winking at the boy. Andre felt his cheeks heat up rapidly as he scrambled for something to say...until he met Snow's eyes... those beautiful, silver colored eyes...His train of thought stopped and simply dumbly stared at Snow. The look was too funny and Sven quickly snapped a picture of him...probably for blackmailing purposes.. He couldn't help but wonder though;

''Every times he falls into a trance it just seems easier and easier. Gotta wonder if her father was a Hypno or a Gardevoir somehow?'' Sven asked while Gilla, feeling sorry for Andre, knocked him softly on the head with his tail to wake him up. Poor boy was so out of it.

''Well yeah you would look great in a contest outfit Snow…wait what did I just said?!'' Andre stuttered, now almost treathening to permanently alter his skin color. He then started grumbling under his chin as he looked away in embarrasement, speaking of cute girl with way too much sway over him...

Snow merrily laughed before replying, ''Well it isn't my fault if you can't handle my cuteness'' This comment sparked a group hilarity that Andre soon joined, his embarassment all but gone. Always the savior however, Sven quickly shifted the conversation away from mesmerizing teenage girls to something rather important for the Lentimas native...

''More seriously though Andre, you might want to get your Trainer ID registered for the gym challenge'' Sven reminded the teen whose eyes widened in realization.

''Oh Shit, you are right. I'll be right back.'' Andre replied before running toward the Pokemon Center's main Lobby to register.

A few moments later, the tall teen presented himself to Nurse Joy…

''Good evening Nurse Joy, I am Andre Cautemoc Aegis and I would like to be registered for the pokemon League''

The Nurse smiled kindly at the overeager teenager. ''Certainly young man, just lend me your pokedex and I will create a trainer pass for you.''

The registering went nicely, and Nurse Joy gave to Andre his badge case, his trainer pass, a guidebook within the region, a black wooded walking stick, a tradition as she called it, and 3000 pokeyen, as starting funds. Andre widened at all of the gifts he was given…

''Is it alright that I have all that?'' He asked, a little embarrassed with all these gifts..

''Of course, this is how we welcome trainers here, and the voyage will normally take much more time than most leagues.'' The nurse explained as she finalized the lasts details of his registration.

''Why so?'' Andre Asked, the nurse having now his undivided attention.

''Well the pokemon league here is held within the black district. The Nuevo Pokemon league circuit is long and tedious, as the Nuevo is the largest region known within the pokemon league association. It is divided in 6 districts ; Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Black and White. The green , yellow, orange and red districts are where you will battle the gym leaders. Unlike the other regions, the Nuevo circuit don't only follow the type mastery policy, but take more after the Orange island Gym leader battle style. You won't only be battling there, but you will have to best yourself and surpass your limits in order to compete at the highest level. Each districts got three gym leaders, then there is a district Boss. In order to gain the right to battle the district boss you need all three badges from the said district. And to compete in the Tliltic Rose convention, you need all 4 district badges. Only trainers that will have overcome this challenge will be deemed worthy of participating in the convention. But don't worry, there is much to do in this region, so you will enjoy yourself here. May Quetzar bless you and good luck'' The Caring nurse explained while smiling brightly at Andre's competitive spirit being ignited. Even after all of these years registering trainers, it was a sight that never got old in her eyes.

'' You have my gratitude Nurse Joy, I'll see you around' The teen thanked the health professional before returning to his friends.

Snow smiled when he came back. Whatever Nurse Joy had said him definitely put him in a good mood. Itzatl and Peppit came to him and Andre proceeded to explain them all the training they would need to do and all there were to battle in this region, making the two of them squeal in excitation. They noisily made their agreement be heard and soon Andre joined them. They would have one hell of a travel together…

Soon it was time to go to bed, but once Andre's pokemon were asleep, the teen went outside to look at the stars… He was thinking about his family, that he swore that he would call them first thing in the morning, about the native that had tried to kidnap Snow, and the vow he made to himself to look after her and the Nuevo pokemon league circuit. A league that seemed to be really tough and thrilling. He smiled to himself, vowing that he would achieve all of his goals and more! As Andre was musing the newfound information in his head, he missed the arrival of a lovely teenager next to him ;

''Can't sleep either huh sleepyhead?'' The voice softly spoke beside him, making the poor teen jump in fright.

''Is that you Snow?'' The teenager whispered, turning around to see the white haired girl next him. She was wearing a simple silver night dress. Her face lit up by the moon's light, she looked like some sort of etheral girl...a rather cute one at that. Snow took place next to him and looked up; ''Is something on your mind?'' She asked Andre as he relaxed as well, his face gazing at the beautiful moon above.

''Yeah. I am thinking about my family and about all the adventures are waiting for us in this region'' Andre replied as his mind was filled with ideas of conquests and discoveries...

''Go figure. I don't sleep much at night at times so I decided to enjoy the moon's caress. Well, I won't lie, I feel as eager as you do now'' She stated, smiling while looking at the stars.

Andre nodded and they both admired the starry night in silence. It was odd, but Andre couldn't help but appreciate how calm he felt sometimes around Snow. It was as if her very presence was a soothing balm that took his mind of the stress of everyday life away like a balloon. As he looked at Snow and her pensive stare at the stars, he could make out a faint, gentle silverish white glow all around her, really giving her a etheral, exotic beauty that drew him in like a moth to a flame.

''What are you thinking about, Iztaca?'' Andre questioned the white haired girl. Snow turned to him in confusion, not exactly hating the nickname however.

''Iztaca?'' She replied, her eyes full of wonder. Andre couldn't help but chuckle at her puzzled expression...before blushing bright red for having given her a very cute yet deep nickname rather quickly

''Iztaca means white in my mothers tongue. More specifically , the word fully describes a white swan's color, so at the same time, it kinds of means the same thing, White Swan. i felt it was fitting since your hair is a beautiful white and that you looked so carefree and pure under the moonlight...and i'll shut up now'' Andre babbled semi incoherently, blushing profusely and mentally kicking himself. ''Real smooth you dumb Donphan, now she'll definitely take me for a weirdo...'' the poor teen thought as he looked away.

Snow just smiled sweetly before answering. ''I always wanted to compete in a pokemon league because I love battling, however, there is a part of me that really enjoyed the contest exhibition that I saw this afternoon in the TV, and it made me want to give them a shot.'' She said as she interiorly giggled at the cute sight of Andre trying to justify his nickname.

Finally getting the control back from his bane, embarassment, Andre flashed her a grin; ''Well that is a very fine goal Snow, I believe in you! I'll even help you prepare for them too'' He cheered, giving her a thumbs up.

The white haired teen's eyes lit up in excitement! ''You would do that for me?'' She asked, as if she couldn't believe that he would go through with it.

''Sure thing Iztaca, it's no big deal. We're all behind each other for this right?'' Andre questioned her with a big smile on his face.

The answer was instantaneous and affirmative. They both shared a thumbs up and Snow unexpectedly hugged him tightly.

... Stopped working...

Snow quickly jumped off Andre when she realized that she was hugging him rather strongly. ''By Arceus Andre I am so sorry, I was ..carried away, so happy that you'd help me...hum...i should be going to bed now, bye!'' She quickly shouted as she scrambled back to her room in embarassement, leaving a still frozen Andre to stare at the moon.

... booted...

A few moments after this small incident, Andre was pensively thinking about how warm Snow had been. The softness of her skin, the gentleness of her touch, the softness of her hair... All of these sensations swirled like a warm cocoon that made him smile like a dumb idiot. This girl was truly going to be the death of him someday. It was unfair to be this cute. Those sensations still lingering, Andre still wondered a lot of things about this girl. Why was her eyes so enticing, why was that faint silver hue there when she was under the moonlight in the first place, why was she messing with his head so much...

As Andre walked back to his room, he only had one question left in his mind...

''Who exactly are you, Snow Nightshade...?''

StevenZ12: There we go folk, the revised chapter 8 finally over. Some interesting developpement occured here heh! Sven is being sven, Andre is poised to take the imposing Nuevo Challenge and Snow takes the contest road. How well both will end up doing? Stay tuned to find out :)

Leaf Shield increases the user's Defense and Special Defense by one stage each. In intense sunlight, the stats are boosted by two stages each instead.

The user is cloaked in protective leaves which boost its Defense and Sp. Defense. The boost is greater during intense sunlight.
