StevenZ12: Good Evening Pokémon Fans, It's ya boi, StevenZ12. I hope that 2021 haven't hit y'all too hard. Arceus Know that we have already seen some trouble brewing around the globe and we are barely a week or two in. However, all we can do is persevere and keep going. Better times will come, I am sure of it. For my part I am taking a session off. Continued Home Schooling is bad for my skin xD. I'd rather put other parts of my life in order and keep doing what I enjoy, like writing and playing Pokemon. Lately I've revisited Pokemon Vega. A very fun, hard , fangame. I definitely recommand any of you who likes peculiar Pokemon GBA rom hacks to try it. I dare believe that you won't be dissapointed. Anyhow, that's enough for now guys, let's hop on into the chapter.

Previously on Nuevo: The trio of Andre, Snow and Sven arrived at Pueblo Leaf Grove, large metropolis in a corner of the Green District. It was a welcome change of pace for the trio who had spent a good portion of the previous weeks in the wilderness. Sven had to leave the group soon after arrival, leaving the two Unova native to themselves as they and their Pokemon enjoyed a nice evening out, eating and chatting among themselves. What adventures awaits them next? Read to find out!

Chapter 25: Trainer School Scuffle.

A new morning, a new adventure was brewing for our duo. The lentimas native trainer was still drowsing when the ray of sunlight finally pierced the partially closed blinds of his room. In a corner of the room stood the large Fire/Rock type in her desactivated state. Next to Andre was drowsing a small water type. Said water type was happily dreaming about evolving into his evolved state, fighting grand adversaries and prevailing. In his celebratory fist in the air, his body rolled over to fall on the cold, hard ground. Such an event snapped the poor water type. Groggy, the salt lizard sat up, painstackingly trying to make the difference between dream and reality.

''Owowow... That was not how I wanted to celebrate my conquest of the Pokemon League...that's for sure..'' He moaned as he sat up and look at the clock. Time at the lab had helped him understand a lot about human culture, which he lowkey found fascinating. Back to the clock however, it showed 9:45 AM. It was quite late. The water type chuckled as he made his way back to the top of the bed.

''Time to wake that sleepyhead up...'' He said as he poked his trainer in the cheek with a tiny claw.

''Rise and Shine partner...''

Andre was in a strange place. Instead of reliving a traumatic event, he was seeing a small silouette playing in a meadow full of flowers...and fire? He was far away, so he couldn't make the figure's feature. Just a small, pixie like figure dancing and frolicking in the meadow.

''What? What's this place?.. Who's that?...'' Wondered the raven haired teen as he tried to move closer. The small figure seemed to remark his presence. It turned toward him and vaguely, Andre could make out a smile on the small pixie's figure. The small thing waved as the whole area was suddenly bathed in a radiant light. By the time Andre understood what was happening, his vision was completely whited out.

With quivering blinks, the lentimas native felt something wet and hard poke him in his cheek, then a nuzzle...then a soft lick. Slightly ticklish, the lentimas native growled uncomfortably. ''Five more minutes...'' he groggily requested to no one in particular.

The water type starter didn't hear it like that however. It was almost 10 AM, he was hungry and he could tell that Pit was hungry too by the way the pepper bunny was scratching at Andre's feets, trying to wake him up.

Their ministration beared fruits however. Andre groaned as he sat up on his bed, tackled almost illico by two very affectuous smallies.

''Finally, Arceus be blessed. I was afraid that you'd never wake up Again...'' Cried the pepper bunny in his language, nuzzling his trainer.

Andre felt bad as he wrapped his arms around the distraught bunny and petted him. He knew that he hadn't properly spent time with his pepper bunny Pokemon since the gym battle. ''Sorry about that Pit, I really should do my best not to worry you.''

The pepper bunny Pokemon looked up and showed him a toothy smile. ''All forgiven...I couldn't be really mad at the one who saved my life...'' The grass/fire type said fervently as he offered him another nuzzle.

Iztatl smiled at the two before going in Andre's arms for his own morning pets. The Lentimas native smiled at his starter Pokemon's antic and spent some time petting them. His mind fleetingly wandered back at this strange dream he was having before waking up. A small pixie figure dancing amidst flowers and fire? Who and what could it have been? Andre knew that these questions would certainly keep him up at night a few more times, but for now, he had a day to do...and another Pokemon to wake up.

''Alright boys, let's wake up Eclipse.'' He decided as he got up from his bed, his starter on his schoulder and Peppit nesting in his arms, keeping both of them warm.

The Lentimas native arrived in front of the statue like gargovyle. Aside of a low, white noise like rumbling coming from the statue, it looked completely still. If one wouldn't notice the rumbling, you could mistake the large bat like Pokemon for a very realistic tribal statue. Andre had no idea how to get the moody Bat Pokemon to activate. But he would certainly try.

''Wake up, Eclipse. It's morning...'' Andre gently said as he caressed the top of the statue.

The statue stayed as grey as solid rock. Not a single sign of acknoledgement.

''Please Chualo, you need to get moving...'' Andre tried, without much more success.

Peppit looked puzzedly at the statue. He jumped down Andre's arms and sniffed the statue around before opening is tiny maw and bit on a stony toe.

''Ayyy, hard...hard!'' He complained as his bite didn't make a dent in the Pokemon's body.

The Aguade smiled. ''Let me try. One Water gun attack, and she's waking up, trust!'' Promised the salt lizard hatchling, inhaling to prepare his water gun attack.

Andre immediately took Iztatl in his arms, holding his muzzle in place. ''If you do that, she might destroy the entire center. I have no idea how these Pokemon are waking up, but if she is grumpy in the morning, I don't want to be at the receiving end of her wrath.'' He reasoned his starter.

''Meh, Good point...'' Conceded the water type as the attack fizzled in his mouth.

Andre then had an Idea. This Shibalbat was from a temple. Maybe she was more used to the native's language. After a good five minute of thinking, searching the proper words in his Pokedex and what he knew from his mother's teachings, he managed to find the solution to his hunch.

Still standing in front of the inactive statue, Andre placed a tender palm on the statue's cheek and chanted:

''Cochehua, Chualo, ichpochtli Quetzar, Xotecbalba Tepiani''

The statue slowly rumbled, color slowly returning to it before the large bat-like Pokemon screeched, stretching his wings in threatening fashion. The large Pokemon then rested her eyes on Andre and his two critters. Then her gaze lowered to Andre's hand on her cheek. She was still unsure of his worthiness, but she had to admit that his gentleness and his willingness to make things right as much as he could was slowly winning her over.

''Hmph. You somehow know enough of our language to know how to activate me. Good Morning to you too, may Quetzar guide you.'' She said in her own tongue. To further demonstrate her relatively good mood, she pushed into Andre's palm in a clumsy nuzzle, making Andre sigh in relief. The large Pokemon was slowly warming up to him.

The lentimas native then got dressed after his ablutions and got ready for the day.

''All who loves me follow me!'' He said goofily as he exited his room, pepper bunny and hatchling in toe. The large statue Pokemon fought the urge to roll her eyes... ''Foreigners...'' She muttered with smile as the large bat took of and started to hover behind the group, like a large shadow protecting them from any treats.

Snow Nightshade also had a relatively quiet night. The gentle feeling of Andre's hand playing in her hair had stayed with her until she fell asleep and had lulled her dream. She was positively refreshed and eager since she was to visit the Pokemon Trainer school today with Andre. Wether it was the trainers school or the perspective of a whole day with Andre that was exciting our white haired heroine was to be proven.

Snow's starter Pokemon, Vixen, was stretching languishly. She also had enjoyed a good night of sleep, her belly full of that delectable seared steak. She grinned, baring her fangs.

"Just the thought of it makes me want to have more...i don't think I can go back to eat raw meat anymore...It feels... So beneath me..." She babbled on, drool slowly dripping from the corner of her muzzle, hissing and evaporating as it touched the floor.

Flora, the small flightless bird that had decided to sleep outside her ball, stared at her fire type friend in bewilderment. She admitted that the human food she ate yesterday was better than what Sven had the habit of feeding them, but not so much that she was craving it. Her friend's behavior was more than concerning to her...

"You okay there vix?" She asked worryingly as she waddled toward her.

The vixen snapped out of her crave induced daydream and looked at her teammate, her cheeks positively burning crimson, creating a lovely contrast with her golden fur.

"You saw that...?" She asked shakily.

Flora looked away, embarrassed. "Huum..."

" I certainly did..." A voice echoed in their heads, making everyone in the room, Snow included, turn around in confusion. On the Window giving in the city, an absolutely stunning Ninetales was staring down at them in disdain. Her fur was a deep grey, etheral like night itself in the morning Sunlight. The deep purple tailtips looking like eerie will-o-wisps floating around her form. Her red eyes shining like rubies to all present. The apparition was definitely enjoying the attention she was getting.

Snow stayed completely stunned and slack jawed for several seconds before gathering herself enough to talk.

"Vi-vi-vixen...is that you?" She asked shakily, walkibg toward the nine-tailed Pokemon completely entranced.

Of course, that sentence snapped a certain Vulpix out of it.

The ninetales however was enjoying this way too much. "Why yes ... The food was soo good that it triggered my evolution. I am now the pinnacle of grace and beauty... And even gained the ability to talk telepathically. Isn't it wonderful?" She replied in a rich feminine tone that sent shivers in all present.

Snow did not even realize that something was wrong as she walked toward the Ninetales to pet her, seemingly wanting nothing more than borderline worship her newly evolved starter.

This is when a solid , loud yip was heard and a volley of embers barely missed Snow's hair to hit the ninetales's tail.

The nine tailed apparition did not even flinch, looking down at the sender in amusement.

Snow also turned around and to her confusion, saw a very flustered Golden furred baring her fang aggressively, some embers escaping her muzzle... Vixen.

"Huh? What the..." She dumbly said, her mind trying to understand why she was seeing a Shiny Ninetales AND shiny Vulpix in the same room.

"Hihihihi. You guys are adorable" The rich voice said once again, prompting everyone to look back at the window.

However, instead of the lavish Ninetales parading in the window, they saw a snickering black furred fox, her crystal blue eyes shimmering with amusement. Said black fox then looked at Vixen with a mockery heavy grin. "I just showed my sister here a level that she won't ever attain" she said as she jumped on the ground, strutting with an air of superiority that Vixen just couldn't take.

"Oh...YOU!" She snarled as she pounced on her, resoluted to rip off more than a few patches of fur from the trickery fox.

Snow looked a bit lost as she watched Vixen and Zorua wrestle like children on her bed.

Flora hopped toward her and jumped on her knees, silently asking that the poor white haired teen was more than happy to give.

"These two are going to be a handful..." She moaned embarrasedly.

Flora nodded in silence, enjoying her trainers pet while trying not to wince when stuff got too intense between the two foxes.

Andre and Snow were walking down the streets of Pueblo Leaf Grove, starter in tow. Behind them lurked the giant shadow of Shibalbat, who had refused to enter her Pokeball for the time being. Andre figured that it wouldn't matter much until they actually had to go inside the trainer School. This huge presence did attract many curious looks from passerbys, as Shibalbats werent exactly known for following humans around...at least not around these parts. Andre could also see some "native" looking people looking at him suspiciously, sometimes reverently or sometimes downright dissaprovingly. The poor teen couldn't fathom why they werr staring like that but ultimately decided not to dwell on it. Instead he was focused on something a bit funnier.

"So Iztaca? Care to tell me why Vixen looks like she took part in a battle royale ?" The lentimas native asked his travelling companion.

The white haired teen blushed at the question while Vixen audibly growled, warning, daring Snow to answer that question.

The poor teen, wedged right into two fires, couldn't find it in her to answer the question, leaving a confused Andre wondering what exactly happened this morning.

''Oh Well, I suppose that it cannot be that bad if you arent willing to tell me about it.'' Reasoned Andre as he continued to keep an eye out for the trainer School.

Snow looked away embrassedly. ''Well I wouldn't mind telling you Andre...but Vixeen here...'' She trailed as her golden furred starter gave her the evil eye.

Andre chuckeld. ''Sure sure, i suppose I will end up knowing eventually anway. '' He said as they made it in front of a grand building with the inscription: Nuevo's Green district Academy.

It looked less like an school and more like an Academy. It was quite big. The Front of the building was obsidian black with gold linings. It looked open enough, as they saw people from all ages enter and exit the complex.

''Woah...'' Said Andre, impressed by the building. ''They know how to catch the eye here in Nuevo that's for sure.''

''Yeah. When I heard of a trainer school, ithought it would be a cute building like what we are used in Unova. This is downright huge.'' Replied the silver haired teen.

''Shall we head inside Iztaca?'' Andre proposed , smiling excidetly at the idea of visiting the place.

''Right behind you. Should probably return our pokemon though, this place looks immense and we could lose them if we leave them to their own devices.'' Proposed Snow, as hshe knew of their groups proportion to exploration.

Both then entered the building Snow holding Vulpix in her arms, not before the fire fox Pokemon smugly jumped in Snow's arms as she was returning Zorua to her pokeball.

Andre did the same with his own Pokemon, almost losing his hand when he tried to sweetalk eclipse into entering her own ball.

Sven was sweating in the forest at the outskirts of the city, eyeing an unnasuming cabin well hidden in a bush filled meadow. He had managed to get close to the designed hideout by knocking our several Observadores and their Pokemon. Many time he had been asked to stop, but with Ahmad's tip , there was no time to waste.

''You okay Gilla?" Whispered the Nuevo native to his partner. The concern was warranted as he had been heavily sollicitated in the preceding minutes.

" A bit winded, but i'll manage boss.." Answered the poisonous reptile.

"I didnt expect to see many of them here, what could possibly be going on here?" Pondered Sven.

Judging by how these crooks were fighting, being all desesperate and stuff, it must have been something very important'' Theorized the small reptile as he struggled to get his wind back. After all, he had been heavily sollicitated.

Sven nodded. ''Yeah. If Ahmad's tip is correct, we really have to shut whatever is going on here down quickly.''

Gilla nodded, his attention back to the cabin they were eyeing.

After a few moments, a Big and burly guy with a huge ape like Pokemon and several other man and woman, all outfitted with that black and gold attire, came flying outside the cabin.

''Sir, We found the other operatives. They all seem to be poisoned somehow.'' One said.

''Peh. Medical team, treat those cabrones quickly. The rest, look for the culprit. Either you find it and get a nice bonus, or your faces gets bashed in. Your choice.'' Replied the burly man, clearly the one in charge there.

The grunt's face paled and they all ran past the two, leaving the cabin completely open to inflitration.

Sven chuckled. ''Really though, this training I had really comes in handy...'' He said before eyeing the cabin's entrance. One look to Gilla and it was on.

''Time to play Sven Bond again...''

The inside of the Green District Academy was indeed immense, with a golden and black themed entrance. After the first set of stairs, a central area, complete with a Pokemon Center corner, a Pokemart corner, A Pokemon Café Corner and the information booth. The Central area itself had beautiful mosaics depicting the fusion between ancient regional lore and western civilisation, mixing both humans and Pokemon. It was breath taking. The Central Area was also full of trainers and other visitors, busily going to and fro. It almost looked more like a mail than an actual trainer school.

''Uwaaa...'' Said Snow upon looking at a beautiful statue near a corridor.

''I second that Uwaaaa...'' Andre replied, a beautiful mural in his sights...

Aguade however seemed less at his ease with so many people around him. ''By Golly, I reckon there is to many humans here...'' He said as he burrowed his face in Andre's arms, earning a chuckle from vixen.

''What's that...Salty Lizard can't handle crowds now?'' She taunted, looking up with that infuriating superior snout up pose of hers in Snow's arms.

''Grummmblll...can't handle...'' Was the lizard's only reply.

The two teens stayed like this for a small while before a huge clamor erupted near the information booth.

''I heard that she's coming to give a class today...'' One random boy said.

''Who could that be...?'' Another one asked his friend.

''I heard it's happening in the battle hall of the Academy...'' A girl said to the two boys while walking toward a corridor seemingly garded by two giant statue.

Andre looked at Snow. ''Not time like the present heh? We go there?''

Snow smiled at Andre. ''Sure. We could learn some things from that. It's an open class so it's even better.'' She replied.

Andre nodded. ''A sage assesment Iztaca. Let's go then.'' He said as he took Snow's hand and rushed toward the battle hall.

Snow blushed. ''I'm not going away you know..no need to pull so hard..'' She half heartedly complained. Vixen dropped to the ground then had to jump on Snow's shoulder after Andre's snatch and grab.

''Snow seem to like it so i'll allow it this time...'' She reasoned, contemplating sending small embers on Andre's hand as punishment.

The battle hall was as grandiose as the central area. The roof was open, taking advantage of the beautiful weather to illumuninate a tournament standard battle field. All around set field was stands where people could watch and another set of stands, reserved for enrolled students of the Academy to attend. Thoses had installation to take notes, which looked pretty impressive... just like the rest of the hall, whose murals depicted various Pokemon locked in combat.

The hall was relatively full of people but by some twist of fate, both our teens managed to find a place in the front row of the hall.

''I'm kind of excited. Its been a while since i've been in a trainer school.'' Admitted Snow as she was fidgeting a bit in place in anticipation.

Andre smiled. Snow was just too cute sometimes... '' I can understand that. I do hold fond memories of trainer school.'' He replied warmly as his mind wandered to happy times with his friends on school benches.

''Have I already talked about how I pranked my 4th grade teacher?'' Andre suddenly asked Snow

The white haired teen chuckled. ''It can't be that bad, can it?''

Andre's smile turned demonic as he started reminiscing. Within minutes, Snow's eyes turned wide.

They kept going for a while before a shhh sound was made across the attendees. A woman was walking toward the center of the battlefield. Said woman had blue light blue hair tied in a ponytail. She was wearing a blue dress with a yellow cross in the middle. A wave pattern like tatoo was on her right arm and descended onto her right leg. At her ankles rested a jade bracelet. She was stunning and the murmur of appreciation that followed her arrival sure was proof of that.

''Thank you for coming to this free lecture everyone. I am Aqua, the Pueblo's gym leader. Today I will give you a demonstration about double battles.'' She introduced herself

Andre's eyes narrowed and so did Aguade's. The local gym leader was going to give a lecture. They knew that they would have to be extra attentive.

The lecture didn't last too long, as it was meant to be accesible to everyone. Both Snow and Andre learned very interesting mechanics and were already making strategies in their head when the leader shocked the audience by asking the following question:

''I Am now going to demonstrate the concepts I just described in my lecture. I would need two volunteers. Who nominates itself?'' She asked kindly to the crowd.

Andre immediately stood up. ''I am willing!'' He shouted.

Snow smiled and stood up after him. ''Can't let that sleepyhead go alone and get him embarassed.'' She replied with a wink, making Andre go through several shade of red and most of the crowd laugh at her comment.

Aqua smiled upon seeing Snow nominate herself after Andre. She had watched the contest and Knew who she was. ''It will be interesting to see how they fight together...'' She mused before selecting them.

Within seconds, both teens were in front of the Gym leader.

''Are you ready to put on a show, Snow Nightshade?'' SHe asked knowingly to Snow, who blushed hard.

''You know me?'' She asked embarrasedly, looking away shyly.

Aqua chuckled. ''Why yes of course. Your performance at the Jade Forest contest was pretty splendid. I'm rooting for you.'' She replied, making the Unova native want to dissapear from everyone's sight in embarrassment.

Andre smiled. ''See Iztaca, now you know that I am not saying that just to make you feel better, even the pretty Leader roots for you now.'' He said while poking Snow's forehead in an effort to make her look up.

''I know...but...'' She shyly whined, making both Andre and Aqua chuckle.

Aqua quickly regained her composure however. ''Well this is enjoyable but we do have a battle to do. Let us now begin.'' She proposed.

Both Andre and Snow nodded, the latter happy that the focus wasn't on her anymore.

A referee then took place in his box at the center edge of the battlefield.

''I will officiate this battle demonstration. It will be a 2v2 double battle between gym leader Aqua and Andre and Snow from Unova. Each party are allowed a combined two Pokemon. The match will be over when one side has no Pokemon able to continue. Now trainers, on my signal, send in your Pokemon. 3-2-1 - Go!''

Andre looked at his partner Aguade. ''It's up to you buddy, let's have some fun.'' He said as his water type Pokemon jumped from his arms to the battle field, making punching motions giddily.

''It's fighting time baby! I'll rip them apart.'' He confidently shouted

Snow then lauched her Shiny Vulpix in the air. ''Vixen, let's dance with passion.'' She chanted as the fire type landed on her feet, her snout in the air proudly demonstrating her superiority.

''I will demonstrate my grace and my strenght to all individuals on this court.'' She announced proudly, making Iztatl roll his eyes.

Aqua smiled. Those were two lively Pokemon. It would make this demonstration battle all the more satisfying.

''Skye, Teah , let us drizzle with passion this battlefield!'' She chanted as two Pokemon were released from dive balls.

The first, Skye, was a long, majestic serpentine Pokemon, with an immaculate body that seemed to glow with all seven colors of the rainbow. Its eyes reflected deep wisdom it seemed. Each set of wings were of a different color.

''Ahhh, a battle demonstration. I never get tired of those.'' She said in a deep, rich voice that sent shivers through both Aguade and Vulpix for different reasons.

The fire type was wondering how could a voice sound so pleasent and soothing. The water type almost fell asleep on the spot, wanting to hear more of that rich voice like mermaids were to that ancient greek warrior.

The second Pokemon however was far from that level of grace. Looking like a fusion between a small fish and a tea cup, steam was coming from its edge and mouthpart. Levitating, the small fish nested itself on top of the serpentine Pokemon head.

Andre pulled out his Pokedex and Scanned both apparitions, as he had never seen them before.

Rojibiv, the Prismatic Pokemon. Royjibiv's iridescent scales reflect and amplify sunlight. When flying overhead, this causes it to bathe the ground below it in every color imaginable. Said the monotonous voice of the Pokedex. Andre frowned. The Pokedex was listing Rojibiv as a Normal/Dragon with the spectrum ability. He had never heard of such ability before so he was more than perplexed.

The lentimas native quickly went about scanning the second Pokemon, decididing to inteverne on Rojibiv later.

Cuppy, the Dainty Pokemon. Schools of Cuppy gather in circles when sleeping, burying their noses in the sea bed. Many poems have been written about these strange underwater tea parties.

Snow cooed over the adorable fish Pokemon. ''It's sooo cute.. OMA OMA OMA'' She fangirled , earning herself weirded out looks from both Andre and their Pokemon.

Aqua smiled at her Pokemon, her eyes delivering a message that both Pokemon nodded and got.

The referee raised his flags. ''The two unova trainers will have the first move. Begin!''

Andre smiled. ''Let's get this show on the road. ''Iztatl, Dragon Dance!'' He commanded

Snow followed suit. ''Vixen, we don't know what these Pokemon can do, so let's test them at a distance. Flamethrower!'' She added

Vixen let out a yip of excitement before opening her maw wide, a flame shooting from it.

''Don't blame me if you need a burn heal afterward.'' She warned smugly.

Iztatl him was already stomping the ground in a locasse fashion. ''I can feel the power coursing through me...'' He said as blue and red electricity was crackling all around him.

Aqua smiled. ''Basic strategy but they at least are playing to their strenght.'' She thought before trusting her hand forward. '' Skye, Nature Power. Teah, Mist please.'' She calmly commanded.

''Feel the power of nature, my children.'' Skye said as she glowed green.

''One misty serving. Coming right up.'' Added teah, her steam production rising rapidly.

In less time than it should normally take, the entire battlefield was engulfed in a thick mist.

The entire battlefield was covered.

''Damnit. I can't see a thing.'' Andre Complained, trying to figure out where Iztatl was.

'' Me neither Sleepyhead. But at the same time. It dosen't help her either. This mist is so thick there is no way she can know where her Pokemon is.'' Snow replied before remarking something odd. ''Hey Andre...''

Andre looked next to him, finding Snow's form rather quickly. ''Yeah what is it?''

Snow eyes narrowed. ''Isn't mist suppose to be greyish white in color normally?'' She inquired.

Andre looked pensive for a bit, but quickly nodded. ''Yeah it should, normally why?'' He asked.

Snow bit her lip. ''Well this Mist is weird, i am not sure, but it looks like it has a slight yellow tinge in it.

Andre also was wondering about the weird tinge of the mist, when he felt his nose starting to twitch and clog up. His sneezing followed soon after.

''Atc...Atchoo!'' He went off for a few seconds... This occurance made dawned the truth upon him...and made him grimace. ''I think I know...this mist..is..Atchoo!'' He tried to say but couldn't due to Atchooing a bit.

Snow also was a bit incomodated by the mist, but could handle it a little better. ''What is it sleepyhead? I can't hear half of what you say due to you atchooing.'' She replied, trying not to laugh at Andre's expense.

Andre didn't need to answer as the mist slowly receded and revealed Vixen and Iztatl on the ground, shivering with electricity coursing over their form.

''What...is...happening...'' Groaned the water type, gritting his teeth at how much his body felt numb and heavy

Vixen growled as well, feeling her joints lock in place as electricity coursed through her fur. ''Must have been the mist...I feel so pathetically numb and weak...'' She Moaned in discomfort while trying to get up.

Aqua was smiling. This strategy of hers always worked wonders. ''You trainers seem to be wondering about what just happened. Allow me to enlighten you and the people watching as well.'' She kindly started.

''This was simply a mist attack that covered the true purpose of the strategy. Nature power in the grassy like terrain that we are fighting on can cause stun spore to be used. With a thick mist, my pokemon simply allowed the stun spore to spread almost undetected. Paralysis is a great way to keep two pokemon that seem to pride themselves in their speed at bay. As such, I will take the offensive now. Teah darling, use Scald on the vixen, Skye, Dragon Breath on the Aguade. '' She commanded as the two Pokemon moved out to attack their target.

''I hope boiling tea won't hurt you too much, fox pup.'' Teah said as she launched a stram of boiling water.

''I am sorry, child, but you must be blasted away...'' Said skye as she send a stream of green dragon energy at the paralyzed starter.

Andre wouldn't have it. ''Iztatl, come on buddy. Break through that Paralysis and dodge!'' He instructed

Snow however felt a strange feeling envelopping her again. Unbeknowst to her, a small etheral figure was right behind her, her small hands seemingly passing energy to the white haired maiden.

''hueliyo?''

Snow quickly looked around, having heard a soft, feminine voice call out to her and said those words. But she didn't see anyone nor anything.

''What is going on?'' She wondered as she saw the teacup Pokemon shoot a stream of boiling water at her starter.

Andre looked at Snow a bit funny, as she looked distracted by something...or someone.

''Iztaca, now's not the time to sleep!'' Scolded the Raven haired teen as Aguade and Vixen got doused in dragon energy and boiling water, making them wail in pain. Needless to say that they weren't pleased.

''Arceus damnit, that dragon breath is nasty...'' Groaned Aguade as he fought his numbness and got up, already breathing heavily from the damage.

Andre smiled happily at his starter's effort. ''Good Job getting up Iztatl! Time to Counter Attack. Salt Crash that serpent!'' He said happily, still eyeing a still vacant Snow with worry in the corner of her eye.

Aguade was happy to oblige, charging his energy in his paws and launching himself at good speed at the dragon type.

''Here's the payback, sky breath. I hope you like Salt!'' Howled Iztatl as he jumped high, diving toward Royjibiv with murder on his mind.

The colorful Pokemon chuckled. ''How overeager, young one...'' She said while looking at him with a look that read: Give it your best shot.

''Why you...!'' Iztatl growled, a tick mark appearing on his face.

Vixen was sadly not in such an advantageous position. She had been hit hard by the scald and the paralysis coursing through her veins wasn't making her numb body any lighter. What was worse was the fact that Snow's eyes had dulled and she didn't even seem to be there. This was bad because they were in the middle of a battle.

''Snow! Snow! Are you alright?'' She yipped in worry as she finally was able to stand up.

She could hear her Vulpix weakly calling for her, but she seemed so far away in her perception. She only could properly hear a small, etheral voice saying the same word.

''hueliyo?''

Snow felt more and more elated...her worry for her Pokemon slowly turning into fury. She was battling with Andre, her beloved. She was surprised at how clear her feelings for the lentimas native felt right now. It wasn't the time to push the issue now, but she definitely felt like she couldn't embarass herself in front of him...and all of these people. Moreover, she now reconized the voice that had guided her back at the temple and during the hydreigon chase. She felt like she could trust that voice. She thought that the voice was probably asking about her desire...and right now, she wanted to win. So when the voice commandingly asked once more :

''hueliyo?''

Snow closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and opened them again. ''Yes!'' She replied.

The etheral figure smiled happily, simply intensifying her energy transfert to the white haired girl. Wordlessly, she trusted her hand forward, making her Vulpix look at her in confusion.

''Wh..what in the world Snow?'' The Vixen said before looking at Snow straight in the eye. The fire type did not reconize that gaze immediately, but felt an immense surge of Power. She felt like she could do anything and she loved it. The Paralysis was gone without a trace, and right now she felt fit to fight Reshiram if she had to.

This exchange had lasted but a few seconds, but The cuppy was placing herself for another shot of Scald per her trainers orders. Preparing a finishing shot, the teacup Pokemon smiled proudly, feeling that victory was at hand.

''Well pup, it's time to go to sleep.'' Taunted the water type.

On the other end of the battlefield, Royjibiv had been violently hit by Salt Crash, but it didn't seem to have hurt the dragon much. Iztatl waddled near Andre while Vulpix iniciated a magnificent roar that took everyone by surprise and that forced cuppy back near Royjibiv.

Andre looked at Snow...and his breath was taken away. Behind Snow but invisible to all, a small etheral figure was using the same silver dust as in the forest of illusion, so nobody in the crowd could see what was happening to Snow, but Both the gym leader and Andre could...

''Snow! Snow! Snap out of it Cualtzin. You've been out of it for several seconds now...'' Andre worryingly remarked.

Snow turned to Andre and stared at him for a good 15 seconds. The lentimas native wanted to ask what was wrong...but quickly got lost in her eyes...eyes that instead of being their gentle, mystical silver, were now orange, and burning with a passion that Andre had never seen. Her eyes radiated Power. Without a single word, she turned to Vixen and extended her hand.

''Vixen, Heat Wave.''

Vixen felt the same power invigorate her even more, making her form glow orange before the sun turned several degrees hotter, signigying Drought. The voice had been sharp, deep, commanding, confident. Vixen didn't even question the fact that she did not know Heat Wave. She simply opened her Maw and shot a crimson veil of fire that quickly made their way to the two Pokemon.

Aqua could not believe her eyes. One Moment before, she had the duo in the ropes, allowing her cuppy to finish off Vulpix rather early. Now she was staring a completely invigotated fire fox that had called upon the power of the Sun itself. She looked at Snow wearily, realizing that her outfit had slightly changed, now sporting a strange, etheral coat of orange material and that her beautiful silver haired teen had orange tips at her hair now. What she also saw was how the teen's vulpix went from weak and paralyzed on the floor to launching a massive Heat Wave that consumed both Pokemon in an instant, defeating them.

The referee scrambled for his flag for a moment, his mind not understanding what had just happened in front of him.

''Teah the Cuppy and Skye the Royjibiv are unable to battle. Andre and Snow are the winner!'' He announced.

The Crowd cheered loudly at what they had seen. From their perspective, the battle had continued like normal, with the drought using Fire Vulpix scoring a critical hit on both the Gym Leader Pokemon.

Aqua narrowed her eyes at Snow. That was hardly normal. Her water type and Dragon type had been Koed by a Spread FIre move coming from a Vulpix. However, as she was about to open her mouth to Question Snow, a sharp pain erupted in her head and a single command was heard.

''mauhcacahua!''

Aqua was stunned shut at this. A powerful sense of dread made her sweat. She had understood what that voice meant. Regaining her composure, She laughed hard. ''Beautiful Display, young Snow, Young Andre. I did ask my Pokemon to hold back a lot of their power, but that was an impressive attack. Spread Moves are powerful tool in double battles, so use that weapon well.'' She complimented the two teens before turning to the crowd.

''And this concludes the battle demonstration for today, dear students. I hope that you have learned something new and interesting today. I will see you as challengers or students later. Until then, dismissed...'' She announced as the crowd started to disperse.

Turning to Andre and Snow, Aqua smiled again. ''That was indeed well done you two, I look forward to either of you challenging me soon. After all, I am the Gym leader in this city.'' She said before leaving the two teens. The order was fresh in her mind, so Aqua did not seek to understand what had just happened.

Snow in the meantime had cooled off and the powerful energy she had felt was long gone. She felt a bit winded, but otherwise okay. She had forced a Gym leader to yeild, she hadn't embarassed herself in front of Andre, she had won the battle.

''YES!'' She shouted happily as her Vulpix jumped in her arms, nuzzling her cheek.

Andre however, was positively scared...and so was Iztatl. They felt like something not Normal had happened in there. Andre remembered asking Snow what was going on and staring at her eyes, only to completely lose touch with reality as her fiery eyes mesmerized him on the spot, completely sealing his consciousness out of reality for a few seconds. Next thing he knew, they had won the battle, with Aqua speaking about being the gym leader and looking forward to their challenge.

''Wh..what happened...just...now...?'' He dumbly asked to no one in perticular.

Iztatl also was staring at Vixen. ''For a second...for a second here...I felt like she had become another thing entirely... Like a princess of fire, a beautiful, dangerous...terrible princess of fire ready to burn everything in her path... What was that...?'' He asked before feeling a violent attraction feeling seize him. The violence of that attraction scared the crocodile/lizard hybrid Pokemon and he quickly jumped in Andre's Arm and buried his face in his chest to shut out everything.

Andre smiled at his starter, Assuming that he was just happy about winning and wanted to rest in his arms. ''You deserve a good rest Brother...'' He said before turning to Snow.

The white haired girl was still cooing with her fox starter, happy about her victory. Andre studied Snow for a good minute, trying to make heads and tails of what had just happened, but finally ended up deciding not to dwell on it. The Important thing was that they had won and practiced at the same time.

''Hey Iztaca!'' He called the silver/white haired teen.

Snow perked up from her happy nuzzling session with her fire type fox to look at her friend. ''What is it sleepyhead?'' She asked, beaming with a prideful smile that made Andre melt.

''Hrmm.'' The teen coughed to regain his composure. ''Good Job back there, i didn't realize how strong the little Vixen has become.'' He said as he gently petted the Fire type Fox under her chin, making her paws almost give out to the lovely sensasion.

''Groowl...I am not suppose to fully approve you...but you know how to scratch the right spooot sooo well...'' She cooed in pure pleasure.

Snow smiled at the raven haired trainer. ''Well I just didn't want to embarass you back there you know. After all, your far stronger than me.'' She said softly while looking down.

Andre gently walked to Snow and lifted her head up by placing his index under her chin. ''What did I say about insulting yourself Snow?'' Andre asked with a smile.

Snow smiled while plunging her gaze in his. ''I know...but i'm trying.'' She said softly as she enjoyed staring in Andre's eyes for a bit.

After a moment of tender staring, both teen looked away, blushing.

''What do you say we go back to the Center to eat and rest for the day? Tomorrow, I will tackle that gym leader!'' Andre proposed.

Snow smiled at the idea, darting in the center's direction, Vulpix in tow. ''Bet you cannot catch up to me on our way there!'' She challenged the raven haired trainer.

Andre stared at the white haired maiden before his pride and competitiveness took over. Damn he sure liked his Snow when she was like this. ''You wish Iztaca. I'll make you eat my dust.'' He replied taking off as well

Snow laughed heartily while thinking about the voice that had guided her during the battle. She closed her eyes momentarily and thanked the voice for allowing her not to embarass herself in front of Andre before accelerating, Andre hot on her tail.

The small etheral figure giggled as she vanished, happy about her little stunt. She would follow that human around, she seemed an amazing fit for her.

Sven was panting hard in the base of operation that he had managed to infiltrate, due to the large reduction in surveillance personnel. He only had needed to get down a few level to be met with a repulsing vision.

In a large room, several fire and Poison type were continuously using their moves until they were physically unable to continue. They were then forcefed leppa berries and continued. In the center of the setup layed a giant chamber like cocoon. Several scientist were in front of the cocoon, seemingly taking measures from it. The sheer heat coming from the vents that the area saw was senough to make the region native melt under his clothes. He gritted his teeth.

''This is worse than Ahmad thought. What the hell is going here..?'' He asked, his gilla having been long since returned to allow him more stealth.

''Well well well, if it isn't our little ratta?'' A voice said from behind him

Sven jumped up startled, but quickly calmed down. There was no use being all panicked. Before him was standing a grunt, recocnisable by his all black outfit.

''I suggest you stand down, if you know what's good for you.'' Sven smirked, a Pokeball at the ready.

The two trainers made a step toward each other, throwing their Pokeball through the air. A battle would soon ensue.

StevenZ12: Well would you look at that, another chapter completed. This time in the same year. Well i'm just happy I can write Pokemon stories again and I am already thinking about an original one.
