Kate was in a dark place. She blinked her eyes several times until the dark place started to fade away and began changing into an open field filled with tall grass and flowers. She looked around and saw her beloved Humphrey.

Humphrey was standing out in the open while looking at the mountains with the wind blowing against his mane, making him look majestic. Kate stared at him in awe and began walking towards him in trance. She had never thought Humphrey would look this good. His fur was glimmering against the sunshine, and she couldn't wait to get a good look at his amazing eyes. If the sun is shining upon his fur, it would be shining onto his eyes. Kate eagerly increasing her walking pace as her eyes began to sparkle with curiosity and desire to see his mesmerizing eyes. She can't wait to give him a big kiss on his delicious lips, pouring her love into his body.

As she was getting closer and closer to him, she hummed his beautiful name that gives her a gooey feeling inside her stomach, catching his attention. Just as when Humphrey turned around and Kate was about to give him one hell of a kiss, Humphrey's eyes were gone and all bloody. Kate stopped walking and gasped loudly.

She covered her mouth in fear and was shocked to see her beloved in this condition.

"Kate...where are you," he said, sounding like he has no tongue at all. "Kate..." It brought tears to her eyes, hurting her heart to hear Humphrey calling for help.

Without a second thought, she ran towards him as fast as she could.

"HUMPHREY" she yelled, but Humphrey was getting far and far away from her. Kate tried to catch up to him, but it was no use.

When he was out of her sight, she can see blood flying towards the air over the horizon. Kate let out a hallowed gasp and screamed as loud as she could before everything went black again.

Kate shot her eyes open and stood up like a rocket, panting heavily. She had tears heavily covering her cheeks almost completely and her eyes are burning from the tears. She can barely support her body because her legs were shaking heavily. The nightmare felt so real. More real than the one she had in the truck when they were on their way back to Jasper. She hated it. She hated seeing Humphrey suffering right in front of her.

However, she's not the only one. Annie was sobbing onto her paws while laying down. Crystal was curled up into a ball. Roselyn stared at the wall with pure white eyes and tears covering her cheeks, and Carina had her tail close to her chest.

They all have the same dream about Humphrey suffering right in front of their eyes. Carina started mumbling Humphrey's name, calling him to come to her. She was losing her voice because she was shaken up from her nightmare, and she can't raise her voice completely.

The last time they remember was confronting their teacher, Grayson, who is known for his reputation, and then they all blacked out from the sheer weight on their shoulders.

Then, they heard someone coming into the den that they didn't realize where they are till now. The girls set their eyes on the entrance, and it was Humphrey entering the den with a deer leg in his mouth. He wasn't bleeding from his eyes, and he had a puppy adorable smile on his face. Humphrey just got back from the feeding grounds to get extra food since he had to carry the girls to his den. As soon as Humphrey entered the den, he got yoink into the den.

The girls were laying on top of him protectively. His arms, legs, everything except his head was covered by them. They hug him tighter than ever as if they were constrictors squeezing their prey.

Humphrey then started tapping on them, trying to get them off so he can breathe.

"Okay, okay I get it. I need to breathe. I'm tapping out. I tap out. I TAP OUT!" Humphrey wheezed, and they all got off of him. Humphrey laid his eyes on them, and they were all in tears. Humphrey had seen them crying before, but this time; it's different. This is his first time to see them crying hard. HARD. Before he could ask them what's wrong, they all hugged him again, but gently. Humphrey let them cry on his shoulders, not caring if his body get wet from the tears. A real gentleman would never ask about a girl's problem who would give her bad memories recently. But it worries Humphrey. He wanted to know what's going on, but decide not to since today or maybe this month is not the right time for them. They've been through a lot, and they don't deserve this. They deserve to rest. To have peace.

It took them a while to calm down to the point where they fell asleep on Humphrey's paws.

Humphrey gazes down at them lovely before gently moving his paws from their head. He looked back at the caribou they dragged in, knowing that they won't finish it in time. It won't probably be going to taste good either if it's not buried. Humphrey decided to rip off some of the meat for the girls and himself. He didn't have any experience of where he can put the food, but he began digging holes at the back of his den where it's safe.

After that, he began dragging the caribou back to the feeding ground. But there is one problem. It took him fifteen minutes for him to drag the caribou out of the den only thirty feet away, and he barely enters the depths of the forest. Humphrey was exhausted. Pulling a caribou is so dang heavy for him.

Humphrey took his time to catch his breath before gritting his teeth and pulled the caribou with all his might. He let out a roar as he continues to pull and pull, moving the caribou in inches.

"Omega." Humphrey stopped when he heard someone's voice. He dropped the caribou and looked around only to find that same guy, Grayson, who was leaning up against the tree. He had a stern look on his face, something Humphrey had never seen before. Like if there's something different about him. "What's your relationship to Kate's sisters?"

"I'm their best friend. No, I'm their close friend" Humphrey replied, hiding the fact about his real relationship with them. Grayson squinted his eyes at him, but Humphrey kept his eyes on him. He now knew for sure he was up for something, and he wasn't stupid to see him doing this. Sure, he is an omega. Omegas are just a rank below the Alphas, but Humphrey wasn't stupid. Grayson was trying to make him spill out the things he was hiding from him, and Humphrey knew the laws, especially the one preventing him to marry all of them instead of choosing one.

Humphrey stared at Grayson for solid several seconds, and he remained expressionless. "I'm pretty sure the girls already answered that question before. Have you ever had a close friend before?"

"I've had one, but not that close" he replied.

"It's normal for friends being that close." Grayson then turned his attention to the caribou before looking back at him. Humphrey knew what he was going to say and he stepped away from it. "You can take it back to the feeding grounds and see if the others wanted to have a meal."

"I will, but...are you sure friends are that close."

"Yes," Humphrey replied, starting to get a little annoyed. "I'm an omega, and I know friends are this close." Grayson squinted his eyes again and began walking towards the caribou. Humphrey remained motionless but kept his eyes on him without moving his head. Grayson bent down and grab the antlers before dragging them back to the feeding grounds with ease. Humphrey slowly turned around and head towards his den. He stopped for a minute and make sure he wasn't being followed by him. Humphrey knew he was up to something. He doesn't care if he is the most responsible wolf in the pack as long as he can keep his relationship hidden from others.

And with that, he began walking back to his destination.

Meanwhile, back at the den, Crystal was the first one to wake up from her small nap. She yawned and stretched her paws, back, and tail. She had a good sleep, and she is happy about it. She was free from her nightmare and felt a huge relief from it. But then again, she was still worried about her relationship with Humphrey. She looked around the room and realized that Humphrey was not in the den.

Crystal widened her eyes, thinking that Humphrey was taken to interrogation and possibly being executed in public. She feared the worst, bringing her back to her nightmare. Without a second thought, she bolted out of the den only colliding with Humphrey who was on his way back home.

Crystal grunted, making Humphrey yelped as they slid across the ground with her on top of Humphrey. They both stopped, and Crystal widened her eyes when she saw Humphrey right in front of her.

She didn't hesitate and gave him a huge kiss of relief. She was glad that Humphrey wasn't taken away from her. Humphrey enlarged his eyes when she gave him probably the biggest kiss ever. Crystal broke the kiss and let out a huge sigh before embracing Humphrey again.

Humphrey hugged her back and was starting to worry about the girls' health. It's starting to get out of hand because first, they feel a lot of weight on their shoulders, second, they pass out, third they have a nightmare. The list goes on till now. Crystal slowly break the embrace and stared at her beloved's amazing eyes that put her into a love trance. She can stare at him for days without even trying. She was drawn towards him, and she doesn't even need to move her head to look at him. It just happened with instinct.

Humphrey continued walking back to the den with Crystal tightly by his side with her tail gripping around his. They were just in time for the others to wake up from her small nap. Humphrey watched them stretching their bodies until they laid their eyes on him.

They all smiled and began walking towards him, about to give him a huge kiss until Crystal stepped in front of him, attempting to growl at them and telling them that Humphrey belongs to her. The girls stopped with their eyes widened. They didn't expect her to act like this and neither did Crystal.

Crystal stopped glaring at them after realizing what she was doing. She was about to break their promise. A promise that they will never fight each other over Humphrey.

Crystal's lips began to quiver and immediately backed off from the group. She began to tear up that she was preparing to fight her sisters over Humphrey, and she promised not to do that along with her sisters. The white identical female wolf started to step back within several feet until she took off into the forest. Humphrey was about to chase after her until Kate stopped him from doing so by putting her tail on his chest.

"Humphrey, we'll go after her. You stay here and rest okay" she said softly. Humphrey stare back at Crystal who was still running away until he was out of his sight.

"But-" Roselyn then put her tail against his lips with a smile on her face.

"Don't worry, we're going to have a girls talk" Roselyn added on. Humphrey widened his eyes a bit before nodding his head. He understands what they meant by girls talk, and he needs to stay out of it. Roselyn smiled and began rubbing her tail on his nose, rubbing her scent for him to smell it to put him in trance. It made him rolled his eyes, and Roselyn flick her tail underneath his chin and they all left and chase after Chrystal. Humphrey fell over with Roselyn's enhancing scent all over his nose until he slowly stood up and wait at the entrance for them.

Meanwhile, Kate and the others were chasing after Chrystal who was starting to get far ahead of them.

"Do you have to put Humphrey in trance with your scent?" Carina asked Roselyn, trying not to giggle.

"Yeah, we don't want to stop enhancing him with our beauty right?" Roselyn asked, making Carina nodded her head agreeing with her. Now, they turned their attention to their innocent sister, Crystal. She must've felt bad for trying to attack her sister over Humphrey, and she had no intention of doing so. They know what she was crying about, and it was their promise.

The sisters looked up ahead and saw her crying next to a river. She was sobbing hard onto her paws, and the sisters slowly began approaching her. Kate was the first one to put her paws on her back until the others started to join in with Annie hugging her and pulling her to her chest.

Carina started rubbing her head while Roselyn was rubbing her back along with Kate.

"It's okay, Crystal. I'm pretty sure you don't mean to do that" Kate soothing her.

"I know, but I still feel bad for it" she replied, hugging Annie tightly. "Ever since our teacher had his suspicious on us, I just can't help but claim that he's mine and belongs to me only." The girls widened their eyes a bit when she said that. To be honest, they do have that sort of feeling she is experience. To steal Humphrey and have him belong to them only. Kate was starting to regret what she said before coming back home about hanging out with Humphrey in public while they hang out with him in secret. She is basically saying that Humphrey belongs to her only in public. They started to get scared. Scared that they might hurt each other in the future.

Oh boy...short chapter Ig? Idk why I'm like saying that this is a short chapter and such for some reason. Maybe because you guys wanted it a longer chapter? Idk, but maybe that will be in the next chapter because I am planning to write a long chapter with each girl hanging out with Humphrey, but who knows when I will be publishing that chapter since I'm in my final year of college.
