A/N: Since it has been 3 years since the main series in Bleach, I'm assuming that this is after the stuff in the manga. I've only started watching Bleach like half a year back, and I'm an anime-only guy so I don't know what happens next. So...Forgive me if any of the Bleach information is inaccurate.
They reached Rukia's office, to see Yoruichi, Soi-Fon and Unohana along with her. Rukia had a slight evil smirk on her face.
"Y-You summoned for me, Captain?"
"Yes, I have. On the insistence of your sensei, I've considered your leave application. I'll be giving you a week's break to go to the Hanten World."
Eren's face became bright
"Really?! Tha-"
"Let me finish."
Eren nodded his head and stayed silent
"Yes."
"To continue, I'll give you a leave, but on two conditions." Rukia said as she showed two fingers
Eren gulped
"Firstly, you will not be given a human gigai. You will have to choose an animal gigai."
Toshiro's eyes furrowed
"What the-"
"And secondly…if you choose to take this leave, you will not given one for the next 15 years! Neither to the Hanten World nor in the Soul Society!" Rukia said
Rangiku's and Toshiro's eyes widened at this
Soi-Fon bent to her and whispered "Rukia, I thought we agreed on 7 years!"
Rukia ignored her
"This is my final offer. So, Eren Yeager, will you take this offer or not?"
Toshiro began to argue at this
"Kuchiki Rukia! This is just outrageous! If you don't want to give him a leave just say-"
"I accept." Eren interrupted.
Everyone's eyes snapped towards Eren in shock, including Rukia.
"W-What?!" Toshiro slowly said
"I accept the offer, Captain." Eren said with his face in thought
"Eren don't be reckless! We can do better than this!" Rangiku reasoned as she glared at Rukia
"It's fine Rangiku. I'm sure of this. I don't intend to go anywhere else after this. Even if this weren't the Captain's order, I would still do things this way. This isn't because of the Captain. All this is my will."
Eren raised a finger and said
Although…I do have one condition, Captain." Eren said
"W-What is it?" asked Rukia, who was still shocked
"Can I choose the animal gigai I want to go with?"
"Um…Uh…yeah, sure…no problem."
Toshiro and Rangiku still stared at him
"So…can I go tomorrow?" Eren asked
"Yeah…just finish up your training for today and you're done with your first…three years…" Rukia trailed off
"Thanks, Captain!" He said with a smile as he went out
All the others stared at him as he left.
"D-Didn't he hear the other two conditions?!" Toshiro screamed
"He…did…but he still took the offer…" Rangiku mouthed
Toshiro then glared at Rukia for a second and turned to the door
"Let's go Rangiku."
"Yes, Captain." She replied
The two then left the room.
The next day
"Think again, Eren. Fifteen years is not a small time frame. This might not be the right thing to do."
"No, I'm very sure Toshiro. I know what I'm doing. I'll never get this chance again."
"Fine then. If you're really that sure, I guess I can't stop you. Did you choose your gigai yet?"
Eren gave a light smile
"Yes I did."
Rukia's office
"Captain Rukia, Eren Yeager has left for the Hanten World. Here are the details on that."
"Thank you, Lieutenant Kotsubaki." She said as she took the file. He then bowed to her and went out
She then placed it on her table as she held her head in exhaustion.
"Why the hell am I not able to get him to regret what he did?! He literally just agrees to everything! Even after I placed an unreasonable offer like that in front of him!" she thought with her teeth gritted
"Something bothering you, Rukia?"
Rukia then removed her hand to see Renji and Ichigo in front of her
"Ichigo! When did you-"
"Renji told me that guy would be off your back for a while so we thought of taking you for a break on Earth. My college's on vacation anyways"
Rukia gave a light smile "Thanks. I'll be needing that."
Renji then looked at the file in front of her. He picked it up and opened it
"What's this?"
"It's Eren's leave details. His letter and the gigai he chose."
"Yoruichi told me he had to choose an animal right? Wonder what he chose…" said Ichigo
"I'll bet he chose a mammoth or an elephant to wreck something in the place…"
"Uh…no. He chose a bird." Said Renji
"A bird?" Ichigo asked
"Yeah. A very common one in the area too. A…uh… Parasitic jaeger."
Ichigo looked at the drawing of the bird
"It looks pretty cool, to be honest."
Rukia then went up and looked as well
"Yeah I'll admit. It DOES look quite good. Anyway, are we going to earth now or not?"
"Hell yes we are." Renji said
Rukia then got up and went with the two best friends by her side.
