Part.2 Gears of Freeman
Planet Sera: Jungle of Taio
Several hours ago
The doors opened as Gordon Freeman is escorted inside by a dozen armed men and women who have some sort of strange armor and weapons. They look like they are battle hard and ready to fight at the moments notice, he notice the courtyard of the base is rather large with numerous of armored people training and guarding along with vehicles he has never seen before. The Major of this COG known as Christine came towards Gordon followed by two of her subordinates and she looks like she hasn't gotten much sleep as of late and is wearing an eye patch.
"All right now explain your self " said the Major
"Ok here is the long version," said Gordon
He started explain about himself as he is or was a native of Seattle, Washington life in which he always had it's ups and downs since he got a job to join Black Mesa research facility, as he told them he was an orphan with no parents in which the only thing that people found on him at when he was found on the door step of an orphanage is his name and nothing more.
Gordon explained that he was already regarded as the quiet type and willing to adapt to any situation until he was in his teens as the orphanage at first put money away for him to go to college considering how smart Gordon is who is willing to learn and grow upon in life.
His childhood heroes were Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, and Richard Feynman because books were his friends in which that is all he had. He told them about an exhibited an early interest in theoretical physics, especially quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity. After observing a series of teleportation experiments conducted by the Institute for Experimental Physics at the University of Innsbruck, the transmission of matter became Gordon's obsession.
He told them he had no known dependents. As he explained he graduated from MIT with a Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Physics. His doctoral thesis on the teleportation of matter through extremely dense elements was titled Observation of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Entanglement on Supraquantum Structures by Induction through Nonlinear Transuranic Crystal of Extremely Long Wavelength (ELW) Pulse from Mode-Locked Source Array.
He told them he took up residence in Black Mesa however his job in general in regards was nothing more than a joke like manual labor, despite his qualifications. Consisting of little more than pressing a button and pushing a cart as he found that to be a little embarrassing at times, but it paid well and Gordon often wondered if he would be doing this utter nonsense for the rest of his life. At time he spent in Black Mesa he only said a few words and kept his mouth shut most of the time, he considered himself a little anti-social being an orphan and all.
An inter-dimensional rift in space time happened and his world changed forever, as he told them in detail in which he became something he would never thought in becoming. A hero, he never dreamed he was one. In which he explained he survived all the challenges and got the respect of a few people for his acts of bravery. Then he wound up in another dimension called Xen and doing battle against an alien warlord named Nihilanth
He told them to never mind about the name, as he told them he killed the alien warlord and then he was confront by a being he despises the most, the G-man. The people noticed in the room how angry he got with that name. He was given a choice to live or die in a form of a deal. Gordon did not want to do either, then all of sudden the choice was made but not by him. No it was the G-man himself. Gordon explained in detain It wasn't until two decades later he had learned the G-man put him in a place far from time, space, thought and even Earth itself.
The G-man stated the right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world it wouldn't be an understatement it is a fact as Gordon found himself in the middle of the occupation by an inter-dimensional alien empire known as the Combine. They in fact conquered the Earth in seven hours thanks in part to a traitor named Dr. Wallace Breen, that name alone made his blood boil. Then he went to explain uprisings, creatures and other things as well in which began as Gordon helped in many ways often doing battle against combine forces until finally driven out of his dimension.
Then finally he explained after the death of a friend of his, his other friends went off to the artic in finding a ship owned by Black Mesa had survived and after discovering technology like the Hazardous Environmental Suit that was on board the Borealis Finally told them he went on several adventures in other dimensions
There is a long silence at first as everyone is thinking about what Gordon said until one person started to laugh and then all of them started to laugh as the Major herself started to giggle in which all of them are thinking What bullshit this is
"You expect us to believe this ship," said Major "Where is your proof, how do we know your working for the Locusts,"
"I don't know what this locusts is," said Gordon "Your dimension is in danger,"
"I believe I have a padded room just for you," said Major "Take him away, he is wasting my goddamn time," she motioned for one of the soldiers to take Gordon
"Fine you want it the hard way," said Gordon "Let's just say you have no idea what you're up against,"
The soldier was about to hit Gordon in the back of the head with his weapon, by Gordon quickly disarmed the man and used his suits scanner to scan the weapon and knocked the soldier out cold. The other soldiers aimed their weapons at him.
"Mess with the COG and you will get it hard," said the Major "Open fire,"
"Shields" muttered Gordon
The COG soldiers opened fired upon the man, however to their surprise their shots bounced off of him as if something invisible is there and so they do the simple thing by rushing the man. Gordon leaps up in the air and brings forth his gravity gun as he fired it upon one of the vehicles; gravity surrounded the vehicle and crashed hard upon the COG solders with an explosion that knocked them into several directions.
"It's always the same," said Gordon
COG headquarters Jacinto
Colonel Victor Hoffman just reported and showed what had transpired several hours ago, as it left Delta Squad very impressed despite their orders to capture the man in which proved it wasn't going to be easy considering things are never are.
"That man took down a battalion of COG without breaking a sweat," said Hoffman
"Casualties," said Fenix
"Only minor injuries and a lot of damage to the base," said Hoffman "Afterwards this Gordon Freeman vanished into the jungle, however Intelligence says he has been spotted in several abandoned locations, they suspect he is heading to Chumbawamba,"
"What if this guy is telling the truth," said Baird
"We won't know until we find out," said Dom "Are we going to stand here and wait until the cows come home or are we going to kick some ass,"
"Heh, same old Dom," said Cole
"We don't know if this Gordon Freeman is a friend or a foe," said Hoffman "Your primary mission is to take out that spire, kill all hostile forces with no back-up considering our forces are spread too thin, if we do get any back-up we'll send them to you," he continued to speak "You'll be going on foot to Chumbawamba, the landing zone is to the south of the ruined city, you have your orders now get going,"
"Sir, yes sir," said Fenix "All right COGS get moving,"
All of Delta Squad nodded and left the headquarters in a Raven that is heading to the landing zone near Chumbawamba
Planet Sera: The valley of Shine
Freeman's log
I find myself in another dimension and it is so typical I was not believed at all. These COG people were very trigger happy and I have found some additional information as Planet Sera was colonized about 300 years ago after Earth was rendered uninhabitable, however no information as in why. Must have been a war or some natural disaster happened.
As for this planet, factions have been at war for about 79 years and according to the data I got. These people are already fucking up their world and from what also I gathered these creatures known as Locusts came from the ground. I understand humanity is dying here, but to screw up another planet like I suspect they did with Earth, well guess no one has a brain here.
I now head to the city of Chumbawamba as that is the source of the transmissions are coming from, these COG people better not get in my way or they will end up worse than the others I did at their base.

Planet Sera: Ghost Swamp
The raven lands upon a clearing in the Ghost Swamp as Marcus Fenix along with delta squad get out of the vehicle as it takes off back to base leaving them alone.
"Man we got some walking to do," said Baird "What a bunch of bull shit,"
"Quit your griping Baird," said Dom "We're COG, so we gotta do what we gotta do hope the comm. Girl can keep up,"
"I've done the training like you did," said Stroud "So this comm. Girl can keep up,"
"Heh, she told you dom," said Cole
"She looks to be a capable warrior," said Tai "Never underestimate the opposite sex,"
"All right Gears, let's get moving," said Fenix "Were on the clock here, so we'll be at Chumbawamba in a bit,"
"What about this Gordon Freeman," said Stroud
"We will cross that bridge went we come to it," said Fenix
"Man this swamp stinks," said Cole
"Smells like Dom's cooking," said Baird
"Fuck you Baird," said Dom
With that they pressed on to their mission.
