We didn't start the fire

During the night Gordon Freeman and Katniss Everdeen swapped stories between one another. That respect grew between one another and so night came and went until the day came.
So that means the Hunger games continues, going their separate ways. Gordon wanted to see if he can break the shield or not. Katniss was really inspired by Gordon's adventure.
She wanted to fight for freedom and be a symbol. She is just one person and not legendary, like the other hunger games previous winners. She will have to make a name for herself and will do it.
Gordon knows the girl has alot fire waiting to come out and threw viewing audience, were moved by the tale Gordon had told Katniss and in many districts, kids some of them not old enough to be in the games wanted to be like Gordon.
His suit scanned for the shield, but is attacked by creatures that he has never seen before and killed these creatures. Then moving on he is attacked by a couple of the district tribute kids, he wasn't going to kill them just cripple and he moved on from there.
The viewing audience and the President are watching the games, also see Gordon doing something, but what. The one free man used his suit to scan the shield to look for the right frequency to pass through.
Of course he could simply use his suits portal program to go right through the shield, but he doesn't know what effect the energies would cause or let alone any damage. Then Gordon found it.
There is an awesome from all the people viewing, just see Gordon has through and then he kept on walking, one of the tributes saw this and tried to do the same, but the tribute is killed from trying, Gordon looked back and saw it happen.
He wondered if there are shield generators that can produce this type of power and he began to look, but wondered what Katniss is up to. The shield isn't combine technology, but it is advanced enough to keep people in or out.
Now how is the games progressing that Gordon is outside the shield. This annoyed Snow he escaped, but he could prove useful to his plans, what could a fool like this do.
District 11's male tribute, kills Clove, then spares Katniss for helping Rue. Katniss returns with the medicine to Peeta, after which he is healed.
While hunting for food, Katniss hears a cannon go off, signaling a death. She races to Peeta and finds he has unknowingly collected deadly nightlock berries. They discover Foxface, District 5's female tribute, dead from eating the nightlock she had assumed, from watching Peeta, were edible.
Now down to the final tributes and needing to force a confrontation, Crane has wild beasts unleashed. They kill Thresh and chase Katniss, Peeta, and Cato onto the Cornucopia's roof. There they fight Cato to a stalemate.
Cato takes Peeta in a headlock to force Katniss into killing them both. Peeta directs Katniss to shoot Cato's hand, and throws him to the beasts below, killing him.
However, the rule change about two victors is suddenly revoked. Peeta urges Katniss to shoot him, but she convinces him to eat nightlock in a suicide pact, as a protest of the Games. Just before they do, Crane quickly names them co-victors of the 74th Hunger Games.
Afterward, Haymitch warns Katniss that she has made many enemies by her acts of defiance. Snow has Crane executed by locking him in a room with nightlock. Katniss encourages Peeta to forget what happened between them, devastating him, and the two arrive home to their district.
District 13
Peeta and Katniss are glad to be back at their district, suddenly Gordon walked in front of them. Peeta thought this man could be a treat, but Katniss motioned her to stand down.
"Great job, you won" said Gordon
"Thank you" said Katniss "How did you escape"
"Found the right frequency to pass through the shield" said Gordon "Then I took a walk to here"
"Oh right your a former scientist" said Katniss
"I saw him in the games, your old to be a tribute" said Peeta
"I came in simply by accident" said Gordon "Now what's next for you"
