Near Cats lair: Third Earth
It is or was a stand-off between the Thundercats and Gordon Freeman, but then words were heard in the background and a cat like symbol is shown and those cat people's eyes glowed from looking at the symbol.
A lion like person showed up with a fancy like sword, then put of that fortress is a red furry cat creature as well. Gordon wondered if that cat creature woke up from the symbol and then the symbol vanished.
"It all right friend," said Lion-O "You are among allies, as I saw what you did to the mutants and the Berserkers. I am Lion-O Lord of the Thundercats."
"Lion- boy huh," said Gordon "I called out, but no one seemed to be home and your friends showed up."
"Hey I was sleeping," said Snarf "I only woke up due to the Thundercat call.'
"You talk," said Gordon "And here I thought you are some kind of pet or sidekick."
"Hey," said Snarf
"How did you activate the bridge," said Panthro
"Hacked into your fortress systems," said Gordon "Nothing fancy and besides your place is too well exposed out in the open. It's like saying here I am, please attack me."
"We do have defenses for our lair," said Tigra
"And we have certain skills," said Cheetara "1 can run about 120 miles per hour,"
"I've seen faster," said Gordon
"Come friend," said Lion-O "Let's talk inside."
"Fair enough" nodded Gordon
So all of them headed inside the lair.
Inside Cats lair
After getting the full tour of the lair as it looked clean and well equipped to handle anything. The technology looked advanced enough and then they assembled in the war room.
Gordon did notice the cat symbol is all over the lair and even on their belt buckles, it looked rather retro and a little lame. Like a Saturday morning cartoons of good vs evil.
"It seems you have a story to tell." Said Lion-O "What is your name?"
"Indeed I do," said Gordon "I have questions about you. For starters My name is Dr. Gordon Freeman and I have a story to tell you."
He started explain about himself as he is or was a native of Seattle, Washington life in which he always had it's ups and downs since he got a job to join Black Mesa research facility, as he told them he was an orphan with no parents in which the only thing that people found on him at when he was found on the door step of an orphanage is his name and nothing more.
Gordon explained that he was already regarded as the quiet type and willing to adapt to any situation until he was in his teens as the orphanage at first put money away for him to go to college considering how smart Gordon is who is willing to learn and grow upon in life.
His childhood heroes were Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, and Richard Feynman because books were his friends in which that is all he had. He told them about an exhibited an early interest in theoretical physics, especially quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity.
After observing a series of teleportation experiments conducted by the Institute for Experimental Physics at the University of Innsbruck, the transmission of matter became Gordon's obsession.
He told them he had no known dependents. As he explained he graduated from MIT with a Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Physics. His doctoral thesis on the teleportation of matter through extremely dense elements was titled Observation of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen

He told them he took up residence in Black Mesa however his job in general in regards was nothing more than a joke like manual labor, despite his qualifications. Consisting of little more than pressing a button and pushing a cart as he found that to be a little embarrassing at times.
It paid well and Gordon often wondered if he would be doing this utter nonsense for the rest of his life. At time he spent in Black Mesa he only said a few words and kept his mouth shut most of the time, he considered himself a little anti-social being an orphan and all.
An inter-dimensional rift in space time happened and his world changed forever, as he told them in detail in which he became something he would never thought in becoming. A hero, he never dreamed he was one.
In which he explained he survived all the challenges and got the respect of a few people for his acts of bravery. Then he wound up in another dimension called Xen and doing battle against an alien warlord named Nihilanth
He told them to never mind about the name, as he told them he killed the alien warlord and then he was confront by a being he despises the most, the G-man. The people noticed in the room how angry he got with that name. He was given a choice to live or die in a form of a deal.
Gordon did not want to do either, then all of sudden the choice was made but not by it was the G-man himself. Gordon explained in detain It wasn't until two decades later he had learned the G-man put him in a place far from time, space, thought and even Earth itself.
The G-man stated the right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world it wouldn't be an understatement it is a fact as Gordon found himself in the middle of the occupation by an inter-dimensional alien empire known as the Combine.
They in fact conquered the Earth in seven hours thanks in part to a traitor named Dr. Wallace Breen, that name alone made his blood boil. Then he went to explain uprisings, creatures and other things as well in which began as Gordon helped in many ways often doing battle against combine forces until finally driven out of his dimension.
Then finally he explained after the death of a friend of his, his other friends went off to the artic in finding a ship owned by Black Mesa had survived and after discovering technology like the Hazardous Environmental Suit that was on board the Borealis Finally told them he went on several adventures in other dimensions.
"By Thundara," said Lion-O "That was a long story."
"Your some kind of lone warrior," said Panthro "Impressive."
"Against a evil empire, bent on conquering other dimensions," said Tigra
"Makes me wonder if these Combine are or were here," said Cheetara
"So tell me about you people," said Gordon
One by one the Thundercats explained themselves, their people and the home planet of Thunder and how it was destroyed. Then after a long trip they came upon Third Earth.
Then it started their adventures dueling with strange places, meeting interesting people and going up against evils like Mumm-Ra, Mutants, Berserkers and other strange foes and calling Third Earth home.
"Why is it called Third Earth," said Gordon "Was Earth 1 and 2 destroyed in the past."
"We really don't know," said Tigra "Even the people on Third Earth don't even know."
"Mumm-Ra must know," said Panthro "He is a creature who has been around a long time, that is much we know."
"What about Mumm-Rana" said Cheetara "She might know."
Lion-O is deep in thought about Gordon's warning about these Combine and the mystery of why it's called Third Earth.
"Even I never heard of these Combine," said Jaga "Perhaps the destruction of Thunders is their doing."
"Jaga," said Lion-O "An evil so great is capable of destroying a planet."
"I do not know" said Jaga
"Uh, Lion-O," said Gordon "Who is that ghostly figure standing near you."
"What?" Gasped the both of them
"You can see me," asked Jaga
"I thought only I could see Jaga," said Lion-O
"Yeah I can see you," said Gordon "Right now it would be best to unlock the mystery of third Earth. My suit detected no Combine activity in this dimension, but they could of been here in the past like first and second Earth."
Mumm-Ra's pyramid
Mumm-ra had watched the conversation between Gordon Freeman and The Thundercats, he is silent on this, but pondered on if this evil known as the Combine had been to this Earth and the previous Earth's.
He has lived for a very long, long, time and he knew nothing about this. Even he had knowledge of most things, but this he did not know. At times he hibernated for years, decades and eons.
Perhaps the ancient spirits of evil know, but he dared not to ask as it might bring forth that creature that here before. An evil that is conquering other dimensions, intrigued him and he too wanted to unlock the mystery of Third Earth.
Then he will control is empire and rule Third Earth, no rule the Universe, no rule every dimension. A sneering grin formed upon his lips and bellowed in laughter to know soon it will all be his.
