Part Three: Black Forest Rescue
A fog rolled into the forest, which engulfed them in seeing not too far in front or behind them. They did discover a used trail, with old tracks of footsteps and so they used the trail to see where it leads to until they found a clearing and abandoned houses all around. This must be or was the village.
The damage is old with debris all around and D0g found a body, a body from one member of Adrian's team, the armor looked damage and chewed up, then Alita found the remains of a dead creature she has never seen before.
"Ant lion," said Gordon "Nasty creatures."
"If there is one, then there is usually more" said Alyx
"You mean like those," Alita pointed to what she had seen.
The others see what Alita has seen and then the ant lions charged upon the four of them looking for food to eat. Gordon and Alita took point by attacking the ant lions, while Alyx and D0g covered the rear as more ant lions had come for them.
Gordon used his gravity gun and Alita used the blade of Damascus to strike back at the ant lions. Body parts are flying all around, D0g had smashed a few of the ant lions. Alyx shot a few with a combine shotgun she had got, awhile ago and the ant loins are blasted to pieces. The four have moved further into the old village.
Suddenly the ant lions are not alone, more headcrab zombies had shown up from the woods and are attacking the ant lions along with them. The fight had become a three way rumble and the four had moved away from the ant lions and the headcrab zombies.
Suddenly in the center of the abandoned village the ground started to shake and crack then something plowed from out of the ground it's large, very large as it looked like an ant lion, but different.
"I take it, that is an ant lion."replied Alita
"An ant lion king," said Gordon "The Combine had a few of them around."
"Got a plan," asked Alyx?
"D0g, smash stupid bug," barked D0g
Dog charged forward to attack the ant lion king as the robot jumped on its back and pounded upon the creature. However the ant lion king shook it off and used it's tail to slam on the robot. Only to be fired upon by Gordon and Alyx.
"Keep me covered I got an idea." Said Alita
Alita ran forward in super sonic speeds, then leaping up at the ant lion king and her fist is fully charged, then her fist and the ant lion king
KABOOM
the collision caused the explosion ripped the center of the village apart, with much dust and debris flying all around. Which was followed by the remains of the ant lion king falling to the ground. Alita stands there in the middle and ready for a fight.
"Shall we get a move on." Said Alita
"Yes, let's do it." Nodded Gordon
