Let's get back into the story!

The Big Baby

Three days later…

"Oh my god it's so hot!" Gavin said as he sat in his house, the AC on at full blast. Adventure Bay was currently experiencing a late summer heatwave, and had been experiencing it for a couple days now.

According to the forecast though, it was supposed to end by the next day.

"Must…cool off!" he said as he grabbed a cup of water and drank from it, sighing happily as he felt the water cool him off a little and satiate his thirst. "That's the spot!"

Unfortunately, it only temporarily cooled him off, and he groaned as he continued to sweat. "Ugh! How else can I cool off?!" he replied, before he started to ponder what he could do. 'Hmm, take a cold bath? No, the water would eventually get warm,' He thought with a shake of his head, before his eyes widened. 'But maybe I could cool off at the beach!' he thought with a grin before he ran to his room to change.

Several minutes later…

"Okay, that should be everything," he said as he looked at the small bag he had packed, which now had a blue beach towel in it, along with sunscreen, sunglasses, and a green snorkel and mask. "Now then, on to the beach!" He continued with a grin, before he headed to the front of the house and walked out, locking the door behind him as he went. He was now wearing blue swim trunks and blue water shoes, as well as sunscreen.

As he crossed the bridge, he looked out towards the beach, and gasped upon seeing a shocking sight.

There, beached on the beach a good distance from the water, was a female baby Sperm Whale. She was a light bluish-gray in color, and had large light brown eyes.

"Oh, the poor thing!" Gavin said as he started running towards the beach, wanting to help it out. "How'd she get on the beach?"

Soon, he had reached the beach, and he hurried over to the baby whale, setting his things on the ground as he approached her.

"Hello there, little one," He said to the baby whale, who smiled at him. "How are you doing?"

"She's alright for now," he heard Cap'n Turbot say from behind him, prompting him to turn around. "But she needs to get back in the water soon."

"Indeed," He replied as he looked at the captain, who had a large ladder with him as well as a big bucket. "I'm guessing you're going to call the Paw Patrol?"

"Indeed I am," He replied as he set the ladder down before he pulled out his phone, while Gavin grabbed the bucket and went to fill it with seawater.

After several seconds had passed, Gavin heard Ryder speak through the phone. "Hello. Ryder here."

"Ryder, this is Cap'n Turbot. I've got a whale of a, uh, well, a whale of a whale problem," Captain Turbot said as he showed Ryder the whale on the beach, while Gavin climbed up and poured some seawater on the baby whale, who smiled happily at the sensation. "Poor baby whale got spooked and swam right up onto the beach."

"Uh-oh. The baby whale beached herself?"

"Yep! She's at risk of serious epidermal dehydration complications," Turbot said as Gavin wen tot get another bucket of seawater. "Um, otherwise known as getting all dried out," he continued when he saw Ryder's confused face. "Can you lend a hand Ryder?"

"A hand, and some paws! No job is too big, no dog is too small!" Ryder said before he hung up the phone.

"Well, that sounds good," Gavin said after he'd hung up, dumping another bucket of saltwater onto the whale.

"Indeed it does!" Cap'n Turbot replied as he looked at the Lookout, while Gavin continued to go collect sweater and dump it on the baby whale.

'This is the second time in the last three days that an emergency has happened on the beach,' He thought to himself, feeling slightly surprised. 'Last time, the Paw Patrol helped some baby sea turtles cross the road and avoid getting eaten by hungry gulls by creating a little tunnel,' He continued as he looked over to where the tunnel was, and saw that a couple straggling turtles were coming out and heading to the water. 'Quite a good idea. How are they going to get this baby whale back into the water?'

A few minutes later, the sound of a fire truck siren reached their ears, causing Gavin to look towards the lookout as he dumped another bucket on the baby whale. He then spotted Ryder, the fire truck from before, and the yellow box from before, although it was now transformed into a bulldozer that had a large drill arm in the rear.

Ryder and the other vehicles soon pulled up onto the beach, and Ryder got off his ATV. "Paw Patrol, here to help!" he said, while Gavin saw that Marble and Marsha were driving the bulldozer and fire truck respectively.

"Thanks Ryder," Cap'n Turbot said gratefully. "Gavin here just can't keep this poor little whale wet enough," He continued as he gestured to Gavin, who had just dumped another bucket of water on the whale and waved at them.

"Hey," he said, while Ryder took off his helmet.

"Don't worry. If she can't get to the water, the water will come to her," Ryder replied, before pointing to Marsha. "Marsha, you're on!"

Marsha nodded at that and drove the truck over towards the waters edge, before she let out a loud "Ruff!" causing the ladder of the truck, which had a fire hose on the end of it, to rise up a towards the baby whale. She then hopped out and connected a hose to the side of the truck, before carrying the end of it and placing it in the nearby seawater.

Gavin saw that she was wearing a red firefighter helmet with the Paw Patrol symbol on the front of it, a red vest that appeared to be made out of some sort of fire-resistant material, a gray belt, black boots with yellow stripes on the cuffs, and red fire-resistant pants. A red backpack sat on her back, with what appeared to be two large cylinders in the middle of it

Marsha then pulled a lever on the truck, and seawater flowed through the hose and onto the baby whale, making her sigh with relief as she started to cool down. "This will help you beat the heat!" Marsha continued before she looked at the pack on her back and barked again. This caused the rear of the pack to stick out, revealing that the two cylinders were water cannons. The cannons were gray in color, matching the robotic arm that held them in place. She then inserted them into the ocean for several seconds, before she pulled them back out and headed to the front of the baby whale, while Gavin grabbed the ladder and moved it away.

Once she got to the front, she started to spray the baby's front with seawater, making the baby smile happily. As she did so, some of the water got into the baby's mouth, and the baby decided to be a bit playful. She let more and more water into her mouth, before she then spat it out as a jet right at Marsha.

Marsha didn't even have a chance to react as the jet of water hit her and knock her back, making her slam into Gavin and tumble over for a few feet.

Once the two came to a stop, Gavin immediately became confused. 'Why am I seeing red?' he thought as he opened his eyes and saw only red in his vision, not sure what had just happened. 'And why is there someone on top of…me.' His eyes then widened with realization. "Marsha? Are you alright?" He asked the Dalmatian as he used his hands to gently grab her sides and push her off him.

"Yeah, I'm fine," She replied as she sat there, looking rather dizzy. "Just give me a minute."

"Alright," He replied, while Ryder, who was happy that Marsha and Gavin weren't injured, walked up to the whale and pat her on the snout.

"This little whale has good aim," he said, before looking at Marble, who was going to the far side of the whale to start digging. "Make sure the channel is nice and wide Marble," he said to her, prompting her to nod.

Marble's outfit consisted of a yellow hardhat with the Paw Patrol symbol on the front, a yellow construction vest, a brown belt with a couple pouches on the sides, yellow shorts, and brown boots. On her back was a yellow backpack that looked like it was made completely out of metal.

"We'll need lots of water to float her out," Ryder continued as he looked back at the baby whale, while Marsha got up with the help of Gavin.

"Feeling better?" He asked her, before she nodded.

"Yep! I'm fired up!" She replied, before she walked back over to the whale and started hosing her again, making sure to keep clear of her mouth as she did so.

"Let's dig it!" Marble said as she started to dig a channel around the whale.

About twenty minutes passed before she'd dug a pretty deep channel surrounding the baby whale. "Just about done here Ryder," She said as she drove out of the channel and got out of her vehicle, before she, Ryder, and Cap'n Turbot went to look at the entrance to the channel, which was still blocked with a dam of sand.

"It's almost high tide!" Ryder said with a smile upon seeing the water level on the beach. "There should be enough to carry the baby whale out."

"Let me just scoop out the dam to let the water in," Marble said before she barked, causing the backpack to extend outwards, revealing a large shovel. She then started to use the shovel to dig out the sand, also using her hands as she did so. "I hope it works!"

A few minutes later, she had dug out the dam, and Marsha and Gavin came over to join them.

"Here comes the water!" Marsha said excitedly. "Higher! Higher!"

"Oh, come on water!" Ryder said eagerly as he looked at the rising tide. "Come on!"

Unfortunately, to their disappointment, the water stopped rising just shy of the baby whale's tail.

"I'm afraid the tide won't get any higher than that," Cap'n Turbot said to them sadly.

"Hmmm," Ryder hummed in thought for several seconds, before he got another idea. "Maybe, we can get the baby whale in the water with a big push!" With that idea in the air, he ran towards the front prompting the others to follow him.

'I doubt it'll work, but it wouldn't hurt to try,' Gavin thought as they reached the front of the baby whale and put their hands on her.

"Okay everyone. One, two, three!" Ryder said before they all started to push on the whale, trying to get her to move. They pushed and pushed and pushed, groaning loudly and gritting their teeth as they did so.

But it wasn't working. The whale was just too heavy. And then, the baby whale le tout a massive sneeze, blowing them back.

"Ow!" Gavin groaned as he landed on a table next to Mr. Porter's Café, while Marble, Marsha, and Ryder all landed on chairs and umbrellas, groaning as well.

"Excuse you," Marsha said to the baby whale, before they heard Cap'n Turbot speak from above them.

"Uh, hello? Is it potentially possible within your Paw Patrol powers to GET ME DOWN!" Cap'n Turbot yelled as he hung from the large straw on the sign above them.

After they got Cap'n Turbot down with Marsha's truck, they returned to the baby whale, who sighed happily as Marsha set up the truck again to spray on her.

They all stared at the baby whale, not sure how to get her from the beach into the water.

As they did so, they started to hear the calls of another whale.

"Hey! That sounds like another whale," Ryder said as he pointed out to the Bay, with Cap'n Turbot pulling out his spyglass to look.

"Could be. Whales talk to each other with their songs," he continued before he looked through the spyglass, and almost immediately gasped with shock. "It is another whale!" He said as he looked at the whale, which was another female sperm whale that looked much bigger than the baby. She also was gray in color with blueish spots and green eyes, and she appeared to be quite upset. "I bet it's her mom!"

As the mother whale continued to call out, the baby whale began to look upset, and started to move her flippers around. She wanted to be with her mama!

"She's heading straight for us!" Ryder said after looking through the spyglass.

Hearing this, Marsha ran over to the baby whale. "Good news! Your mama's coming!" She said to the baby whale, who smiled.

"That's not really good news in this case Marsha," Gavin replied as he looked at Cap'n Turbot. "Right Captain?"

"Right Gavin!" Cap'n Turbot said with a nod. "If she gets too close, she could get stuck too!"

"Two beached whales is two too many!" Marble said with a shake of her head.

"So, we need to make her stop approaching," Gavin said, before humming in thought. "But how?"

Everyone hummed in thought for several seconds, before Ryder gasped. "Cap'n Turbot, aren't whales sensitive to sound?" He asked him.

"Oh yes! A calamitous cacophony-heheh, I mean, loud noises scare them," he replied.

"Then we need to make enough noise to keep her away from here," Ryder said.

"Let's get loud!" Marble said as she ran over to her vehicle and turned on the car alarm, which was quite loud. She also started to honk the horn, while Cap'n Turbot banged on the bucket like a drum.

It seemed to work, as the mother whale was starting to slow down. 'Good, it's working,' Gavin said, before he looked at the baby whale and noticed she seemed to be quite upset. 'Oh boy.'

"Alright, that's good, but we need her to turn around," Ryder said, before looking at Marsha. "Marsha, let's get really loud!"

At that, Marsha nodded, before she ran over to her truck and hopped inside. She then turned on the sirens and blasted the horn, causing the mother whale to stop and turn around, before she started to swim away.

"Alright, it worked!" Ryder said, before Gavin tapped him on the shoulder.

"Um, Ryder, I think you forgot something," he said to him, before pointing at the baby whale, who was starting to scrunch up her face.

"Oh no," was all Ryder could say before the baby whale started to bawl, the loud noises being too much for her sensitive ears.

Almost immediately, everyone covered their ears, trying to drown out her loud cries as much as possible.

"You forgot to cover the baby's ears!" Gavin yelled at Ryder, before he noticed the mother whale stop and turn around, a worried look on her face. "And now the mother's coming back!"

"Oh no! She could get stuck!" Ryder said, before the baby let out another loud wail, while tears dripped down her cheeks. "We need to make her stop crying!" Ryder stated as he winced with pain, while the mother whale started to swim towards them at a faster pace. "She's going to make her mother beach herself!"

"How?!" Cap'n Turbot asked him as he clutched his ears.

Marble then gasped as she got an idea. "I know! Gavin can help!" She said, before running over to him. "Gavin! Sing her a lullaby!"

"What?!" Gavin replied, not sure if he'd heard her correctly due to the loud baby crying.

"SING A LULLABY!" Marble shouted at him.

"Alright! I'll try!" He replied once he heard her. 'I hope this works,' he thought as he walked over to the crying baby whale and rested a hand on her snout, catching her attention. He then took a deep breath and started to sing.

"Baby mine, don't you cry

Baby mine, dry your eyes

Rest your head close to my heart

Never to part, baby of mine."

As he sang, the baby whale slowly stopped crying, and looked at him with interest, making everyone else sigh in relief. The human's singing was…calming, and what he was singing sounded similar to a song her mommy would sing her sometimes at night.

"Little one, when you play

Pay no heed what they say

Let your eyes sparkle and shine

Never a tear, baby of mine."

"Wow, he's good," Marsha said as Gavin sang to the baby whale lovingly, rubbing his hand against her skin.

"Yeah, he is," Marble replied as they listened to him sing, with the mother whale slowing down as she heard the human sing.

'Human sings good,' The mother whale thought as she looked at her daughter, who was smiling, her tears gone. 'Quite good.'

If they knew all about you

They'd end up loving you, too

All those same people who scold you

What they'd give just for the right to hold you."

At that, Marble chuckled, the image of Gavin struggling to hold the baby in his arms popping up in her head. 'That'd hurt,' She thought, knowing that the whale weighed much more than Gavin could hold.

"She's falling asleep," Ryder whispered to Cap'n Turbot as the baby whale yawned, before her eyes started to droop. "And look!" he continued as he gestured to the mother whale, who had stopped swimming towards them.

From your head down to your toes

You're not much, goodness knows

But, you're so precious to me

Sweet as can be, baby of mine."

As Gavin finished the song, he smiled as he saw that the baby whale was fast asleep. "Sleep well little one," He whispered to her, before he looked at the mother whale, who smiled, before she moved back a bit.

'Thank you human,' The mother whale thought. 'Thank you.'

"Good job Gavin," Ryder whispered to him as he walked over. "Your singing helped stop the mother whale from beaching herself."

"Eh, it's no big deal," Gavin replied. "I was happy to help."

"Good to hear," Ryder said, before he looked at the sleeping baby whale and hummed in thought. "But now we gotta get this little whale to the water. Fast!"

"But the tide's not high enough!" Marble whispered to her as she looked at the water's edge.

"Hmmm, I know!" Ryder said with a smile. "Maybe Reggie can rig something up that can help us slide the baby whale out into the bay."

Upon hearing that, Marble gasped as she remembered something. "Hey, we were just doing that earlier!" She said to Marsha, who nodded.

"Perfect!" The two said before they got in their vehicles and drove off towards the Lookout.

"What could they be talking about?" Gavin said with confusion to Ryder, who shrugged.

"I don't know, but from what they said, I think it'll help," He replied.

"I hope so," Gavin said as he looked at the baby whale, who was still fast asleep.

Several minutes later…

"Thanks for getting here so fast Reggie," Ryder whispered as Reggie walked up to them in her gear, carrying a rolled up orange slip and slide that she had brought with her on the ride over.

"Reggie to the rescue!" Reggie whispered back with a proud look on her face.

"Alright, now Reggie, roll the slip and slide into the channel, and make sure that it's as close to the baby as possible," Ryder said to her, prompting her to nod before she headed to the rear of the whale, making sure to not get wet as she went.

Once she'd set the end of the slip and slide down underneath the baby's tail, she kicked it, causing it to unroll all the way into the water.

"Perfect!" Ryder said with a smile, before turning to Marsha. "Marsha, can you spray the plastic so it's slippery?"

"Sure can!" Marsha replied before she ran to the other side of the whale and activated her water cannons, shooting water onto the plastic.

"Excellent!" Ryder said as she did that, before turning to the others. "All paws on deck!" He said to the others, before they made their way to the front of the baby whale, who was starting to wake up. "One, two, three, push!" He cried, before they all started to push hard on the baby whale.

They pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed with all their might, before they fell forward as the baby whale was pushed onto the slide and slide down it.

As she slid down, Reggie grinned, happy that she had been able to help, before her grin disappeared as the baby hit the water with a large "Splash!" sending water all over her.

"Noooo! I'm all wet!" She groaned as she shook her arm, which was dripping water, while the baby whale waved at them with a flipper, before she swam away to reunite with her mother.

"Look!" Ryder said as the baby whale swam over to her mother and the two touched noses in a whale kiss.

Marble sniffed at the sight, while tears started to form in her eyes.

"What's wrong Marble?' Marsha asked her.

"Oh, just some sand in my eyes," She replied as she quickly blinked away the tears, before her stomach growled. "And I'm hungry."

"Me too," Marsha said as her stomach growled as well.

"And so am I," Gavin added.

"Well, I do have some homemade dried squid jerky," Cap'n Turbot replied as he reached into a back pocket and pulled out a couple dried purple tentacles. "Super tasty!"

"Hm, sounds interesting," Gavin said as he took a tentacle and then went to take a bite. "Mm, it's really good," he continued as he chewed on the tentacle, which was extremely chewy.

"Yes it is!" Cap'n Turbot said as he took a bite. "Try some?" He asked Ryder and the Paw Patrol.

"No thanks!" Ryder replied, with the others shaking their heads. "I'm good."

"So are we!" Reggie and the others added, before Ryder spoke to them.

"I think we all deserve a day at the beach!" he said, making them grin and howl happily.

'Well, this is going to be interesting,' Gavin thought as they got in their vehicles and drove back to the Lookout, while he went to grab his things.

He then set his towel out on the beach and put his bag on top, before he grabbed his mask and snorkel and headed to the water, but not before rolling up the slip and slide and setting it next to his things.

Once he was in the water, he sighed happily as he felt himself cooling down. "Oh yeah, I can see why that baby whale was so happy," He said before he put on his snorkel and mask and started to swim, looking down into the water as he did so.

'Man, the water's so clear!' He thought as he swam, watching a small needlefish swim off towards the middle of the Bay. 'They should have named this bay "Crystal Bay" instead!'

He continued to swim for several minutes, slowly going further and further out into the bay, before he accidentally ducked his head down a little too deep to look at a small pufferfish that was black and white, causing sea water to go into his snorkel.

He immediately shot his head out of the water and took out the snorkel before spitting out the saltwater in his mouth.

"Ugh! Blegh! Nasty!" He said as he spat it out, before he turned to see how far he was from the shore.

To his surprise, he was a pretty good distance from the shore, with him being about 15 or so hovercraft lengths away from it.

"Huh, I really got out far," he said, before he heard something rise from the water behind him, making him gulp as he slowly turned around. "Oh, hi there!" He said to the mother whale and her baby. "I'm glad you're with your baby again!"

The mother whale let out a high-pitched whistle at that as she stared at him, before she went under the water once more, while her baby staid at the surface, a smile on her face.

"What's she doooIIIINNNG?!" He said as the mother whale surfaced underneath him, raising him up into the air on her body. "Oh my!" he continued as he sat there, looking around with surprise. "Why are you doing this?" he asked her.

The mother whale then started to sing a little tune that sounded quite familiar, while she hugged her baby with a fin.

A few seconds went by, before Gavin's confused face turned to one of realization. "Ohhhhhhhh, I get it! You're thanking me for calming your daughter calm!" he said, prompting her to nod. "Well, you are most welcome!" He continued, before looking at the beach and waving at everyone. "Hey guys!" he said with a smile, before his face grew a bit red upon seeing the girls in their swimsuits. 'Oh dear God they're so hot!' He thought.

"Woah!" Marble and Marsha said with awe as they stood on the shore. Marble was wearing a two-piece yellow bikini that had white bones on the top, and Marsha was wearing a bright red one-piece swimsuit that hugged her body and had flames on the sides. "That's so cool!"

"Yes, it is," Ryder said in agreement, wearing a pair of orange and white shades and a white and blue pair of swim trunks.

"The mother whale must be thanking him for calming her baby down," Cap'n Turbot said, having not changed his clothes whatsoever.

"He calmed her baby down?" Zuma said with surprise, wearing a bright orange two-piece bikini that hugged her curves and had white anchors on them. "How'd he do that?"

"He sang her a lullaby," Marble replied as they watched the mother whale carry Gavin all around the bay.

"Aw, how sweet!" Skye said with a smile, wearing a light pink two-piece bikini that had very thin straps on it and a small pink sun hat and sunglasses.

"I didn't know he could sing," Reggie said with a surprised look on her face. She was wearing a green one-piece swimsuit that was specifically designed to contain her four tits. "How'd you know he could help Marble?"

"Oh, I overheard him singing a few days ago while I was skateboarding," She replied. "And he sounded really good, so I figured he'd be able to calm her down."

"Well, that was a good idea Marble," Siren said, wearing a dark blue two-piece swimsuit that hugged her figure.

"Yes it was," Ryder said in agreement, before he turned and headed over to the nearby volleyball court they had just made. "Now then, who wants to play some volleyball?"

"Oh! I do!" Reggie, Siren, Skye, and Cap'n Turbot said as they ran over to play some volleyball, while Zuma headed over to her kite-surfing surfboard, which was white, blue, and yellow in color.

Marble sighed again as she stared out at Gavin, a smile on her face.

"Are you okay Marble?" Marsha asked her friend, who slowly nodded.

"Yeah, I'm fine Marsha," She replied while thinking, 'He's a good cook, kind and friendly, and he can sing?! He's getting more and more attractive.' "Come on, let's go build a sandcastle," She continued as she turned and started to walk away.

"Um, okay Marble," Marsha said as she started to follow her. 'Gavin has a really nice voice,' She thought as she looked out at him, still riding the mother whale. 'I wonder if he'd be willing to sing for us?' She continued as she followed Marble to a nice spot, where they started to make a sandcastle.

That night…

Gavin sighed as he sat on a comfy chair on the beach, a cup of fruit punch in his hand. "Ah, what a lovely day," he said as he looked up at the sunny clear skies with a smile, with a couple birds flying by overhead. "I did some surfing, and caught a couple big fish to eat," he continued with a smile as he took a sip of his drink.

"Hey Gavin!"

"Hey Marsha! Hey Marble!" He said as he turned to the two anthros, who were wearing their swimsuits. "How was swimming?"

"Oh, it was fun!" Marsha said as she held up a pearl the size of a regular car tire. "I found this! Can we keep it?"

"Sure!" Gavin replied, causing her to smile more as she set the pearl next to him. "So, what do you girls want to do ne-"

*KRAKOOM!*

"What was that?" He said as he looked around, only to become very confused when he saw that he was no longer at the beach. "Where the fuck am I?!" he continued as he saw that he was now standing on a tall mountain, while a storm brewed overhead, with lightning occasionally shooting out from it.

*KRAKOOOM!*

"And where are the girls?" he said as he looked around.

"Gavin!" He heard the two girls cry out from near him.

"Marsha! Marble?!" He called out. "Where are you?!"

"Over here!"

He then turned and spotted a large cave that hadn't been there a moment ago.

"Marble? Marsha?" he called into the cave.

"Gavin!" The two cried out, along with other female voices that he recognized. "Help us!"

"I'm coming girls!" He cried as he ran into the cave, which quickly opened up into a massive cavern. Standing down at the bottom of it, still in their swimsuits, were Marsha and Marbles, as well as the other girls. They had scared looks on their faces, as one stalactite broke off from the ceiling and fell down, narrowly missing Skye as it pierced the ground. The ground beneath it then collapsed in a small sinkhole.

"Help!" They cried as they backed up from the sinkhole, before another one opened up behind them, separating them from the path.

"I'm coming!" He yelled as he ran down the path to the bottom of the cavern and came to a stop at the sinkhole. "Girls!" He yelled again to them.

"Gavin!" They cried as they held on to one another, looking at him with relief and worry. "There's no way across!"

"I'll think of something," He replied as he looked around, before spotting a nearby column. "Dammit! If I only had an explosive," he growled as he looked at the column. "I could use it to make this column into a bridge!"

"Use your power!" Marble said to him, confusing him.

"What power?"

"Use it!" Skye said, before the others started to chant it over and over again. "Use it! Use it! Use it!"

"What power?!" He shouted with confusion, before he noticed his clenched hands glowing blue while they chanted.

"That power!" They all said as one.

"What the hell?!" He said with confusion, before he heard a very loud "CRACK!" come from above the girls, prompting him to look up. Above them was a massive stalactite that had a crack starting to grow across its base. "I'll question this later," he muttered, before he punched the column, which cracked a bit, prompting him to punch it again and again, knocking away rock and breaking the column's connection to the roof.

After a few more seconds of punching, the column broke, and fell across the sinkhole, landing before the girls and making a bridge.

"Come on girls! Quickly!" He said, prompting them to hurry as he looked up at the stalactite, which was still cracking.

The girls, one by one, began to hurry across the bridge over to him, while more stalactites fell, making more holes in the ground as they left.

Soon, only Reggie was left, and right as she started across, the massive stalactite above broke and started to fall.

"Reggie!" Gavin yelled as she looked up and froze upon seeing the stalactite falling. He then ran and grabbed her arm, before he pulled her across, just before the stalactite hit the ground with a loud "CRASH!" and made a massive hole.

"Come on girls!" he said to them as he pushed them forward. "We have to go!" He continued as more and more rocks fell around them. "The cavern's collapsing!"

The girls nodded and started to run forward. They ran and ran and ran, and had almost reached the entrance/exit when a large boulder fell down and blocked it.

"Use the power!" They said as one to him, prompting him to nod as he ran forward and started to punch it with his glowing fists. "Use it!" They cried as he threw heavy punches at it, chipping slabs of rock off it.

After a few minutes, the boulder gave way to his punches, and turned to thousands of tiny pieces, prompting the girls to cheer before they ran out of the cave.

"Oh thank god! We're safe!" He said as they came to a stop, panting a bit. "How are you girls?" He asked them, only to gain a confused look when he saw that all their eyes were glowing blue in color.

"Use the power," They said as one as they surrounded him. "Use it."

"But I don't need to anymore," he replied. "We're safe now."

"Use it," They said again as they got closer. "Use it."

"Um, girls?" he said with worry. "What's going on?"

"Use it!" They said again as they got even closer, their breasts now touching. "Use it!" They took another step forward, and their breasts pressed against him, making his face turn red. "Use it!"

"Use what?!" he said, before he was pushed down below them, their breasts seeming to grow bigger and bigger.

"Use it! Use it!" They chanted over and over and over again, before everything went dark.

"Gah!" Gavin gasped as he woke up and sat up in bed, breathing heavily. He looked around him as he sat there, before sighing with relief upon seeing he was still in his room. "Oh thank goodness! It was just a dream! A really weird dream," he said. "What was that all about?" he continued, before he shrugged. 'Eh, it was a dream. It probably didn't mean anything,' He thought, before realizing he needed to take a piss. He then got out of his bed and walked to the bathroom to relieve himself.

Once he was done, he went to the sink to wash his hands, and had just finished doing so when suddenly-

"Agh!" Gavin managed to let out a small cry of pain before he fell over due to the extreme pain wracking his body. 'What in the world?!' he thought with confusion as he lay on the floor, his body twitching erratically. 'What's happening to me?!' He inwardly screamed, his eyes squeezed shut.

The pain continued to wrack his body for about 15 more seconds as bones and organs shifted and changed, before it suddenly stopped. 'Is it done?' he thought as he began to open his eyes.

Upon opening them, his eyes widened as he saw what looked like a blue snout sticking out in front of him. "What the fuck?!" he said with shock as he sat up, extremely confused. He then got up, his legs shaking a bit, before looking at the mirror.

"What in the fucking hell is going on?!" He exclaimed upon seeing his reflection.

He had completely changed!

He stood 6 feet 3 inches tall now, and had become some sort of bipedal, canine-like creature covered in predominantly black and blue fur. His head looked similar to a jackal's but had a slightly longer muzzle and tall pointy ears that stood straight up. The black fur on his head made a mask pattern on the face form the nose to either side of the head, with a black stripe going from the bridge of the nose to the rear of the head as well. Four black and small tear-shaped appendages hung from the back of his head, and his eyes were still blue, but now slightly vertically slitted. Shaggy, pale yellow fur covered his chest and torso, with a metal spike sticking out the middle of his chest. His shoulders were covered in black fur in the shape of a somewhat thick ring. His hands had turned into forepaws, with three fingers on each paw, and had large, pointed metal spike on the backs of his forepaws. Black fur extended from his forepaws to just past his wrists, ending in a jagged line, from which blue fur extended to his shoulders. A thick line of black fur was on his waist, acting like a natural belt.

His thighs now resembled shorts, and were covered in blue fur. A blue, medium length tail with a 90 degree bend at the tip stuck out behind him. From the knee down, his legs and feet were covered in black fur. And finally, he was standing on three toes instead of the entire foot.

"What am I?" he said as he stared at his reflection. "Some sort of werewolf?" After thinking it over for a few seconds, he shook his head. "Nah. It's not a full moon. So what in the fuck am I?!"

As he stared at himself, he felt strangely nostalgic, like this form he was in was…familiar. 'Why do I feel this way?' He thought with confusion. 'I've never seen anything like this before!'

As he stood there, he suddenly realized that he felt very hungry, and decided to head to the kitchen to get something to eat.

Upon entering the kitchen, his nose began detecting multiple scents that were extremely good. He opened the freezer, and pulled out some mint chocolate ice cream. He then went to grab a spoon and bowl, and once he'd gathered the two items, proceeded to dish himself some ice cream.

After he put the ice cream away, he grabbed his bowl and spoon and walked over to the kitchen table to eat. He'd gotten about halfway through the bowl when he felt his teeth hit the cold metal of the spoon and he felt something odd on his tongue.

'What the hell?' He thought as he opened his mouth and stuck out his long tongue. When he grabbed what was on his tongue and looked at it, his eyes widened even more upon seeing it was the round part of the spoon.

He had bitten clean through it. "I can bite through metal?" He said with wide eyes, before his stomach growled again. His nose then began to detect another scent, this one leading to the spoon. "Wait, am I hungry…for metal?" he said. His stomach growled once more, seemingly answering him. "Well, there's only one way to find out." He then popped the piece of spoon back into his mouth and began to chew on it.

Surprisingly, chewing the piece was like chewing bubblegum. It was so malleable between his teeth. After chewing it for several seconds, he swallowed it. "Huh, doesn't taste that bad," he said with surprise. "Hope it digests well." He then finished the rest of his ice cream, swallowing the rest of the spoon as well, before he went to wash the bowl.

As he washed the bowl, his stomach growled again. He was still a bit hungry, although not as much as before. 'Dammit! I can't eat more spoons,' he thought as he finished washing the bowl. 'Anyone I have over will notice the lack of them. And I'll have to buy more, which would lead to questions.' "Fuck," he said as he walked into his room. "I'll have to go out to search for metal to eat. Better find me a disguise."

He rummaged through his closet for several minutes, before finding an old pair of blue shorts and a long black cloak with a hood that he had used for a Halloween costume several years before. Upon putting them in, he found that they fit rather well.

"Perfect, and now, to go get something to eat," he said as he walked over to one of the large bathroom windows and opened it, but not before turning off all the lights. He then climbed through it outside, since this window was on a part of the house opposite the Lookout.

Once outside, he carefully lowered the window till it was almost shut and wedged a small rock under it to keep it from closing fully. He then sniffed the air to see what he could smell, and immediately found a strong trace of metal.

'Mmmm, smells good,' he thought as he began to follow it, before finding it was heading towards the Lookout. 'Well, hopefully they're already asleep.' He then quickly tiptoed to behind his shed, and then to the forest edge, before he started making his way towards the Lookout, following the smell of metal as he went. 'I really don't want to explain things to them if they aren't/'

Eventually, after tiptoeing for several minutes, he arrived at the Lookout, and saw a large metal bin sitting behind the Lookout. That was where the strongest smell of metal was coming from, although smells of metal were coming from the vehicles sitting around the Lookout as well. But he wouldn't eat those. That would draw unneeded attention to himself.

'Alright, I can do this,' He thought, before he began running towards the large bin. He ran as fast as he could, and quickly reached the bin without incident. There was a large sliding panel on one side, and he grabbed the handle on it, before he began to pull on it.

He'd managed to pull it open a few inches before it started squeaking, prompting him to immediately stop what he was doing. 'That will have to do,' he thought as he then reached a hand/paw into the bin to grab whatever was inside. His hand touched a cylindrical object, and he grabbed the item, before pulling it out.

It appeared to be a soda can of some kind, but he couldn't tell what kind due to it being dark. 'Hope it tastes good,' he thought before he opened his mouth and took a bite of the aluminum can. His teeth cut through the aluminum like it was butter, and he could taste a distinct flavor in the metal.

'Grape?' he thought with confusion as he chewed the metal, before swallowing it and taking another bite. 'Why does it taste like-wait, is this a grape soda can?' He squinted at the can really hard in the dark, and was eventually able to see that there was an image of a bunch of grapes on it. 'Well how about that.' he thought as he took another bite. 'I guess the metal took on the taste of what it was containing.'

After a few more bites, he'd finished the can, and reached into the bin to grab another one. As he pulled another can out, he accidentally hit the can against the panel, making a light "Ding!"

He immediately froze as he thought, 'Shit!' He stood very, very still, not wanting to move in case someone had heard the noise and decided to look out the window to find the source. After several seconds had passed, he let out a quiet sigh of relief. 'Oh thank goodness! No one else heard that,' He thought as he took a bite of the can, the taste of oranges filling his mouth. 'Mmmmm, yummy!'

He soon finished the can and let out a happy sigh as he felt his hunger had abated. 'Well then, time to go home,' He thought as he ran back to the forest, before slowly and carefully making his way back to his house.

Once he'd gotten back home and shut/locked the bathroom window behind him, he looked down at himself. "Okay, so how do I change back?" he said. "Do I say a phrase? Do a certain motion?" He then flexed his arms as much as he could, gritting his teeth.

After doing this or a few seconds, with no sign of change, he stopped, and said, "Transform!"

Nothing happened.

"Um, Abra cadabra!"

Nothing.

"Hocus Pocus?"

"Alakazam?"

"Switch it up?"

"It's time to morph!"

"Human up!"

He called out various phrases, some of which he'd made up on the spot, in the hopes that one of them would change him back.

But none of them worked, not even with him doing various poses or motions with his hands.

"Shit!" he said as he stood there, trying to think of what else he could do that could end up with him turning back to a human. "Hmmmmm, what to do, what to do."

After thinking for a few minutes, he sighed as he got an idea. An odd one. 'I might as well try it,' He thought, before he closed his eyes, and thought, 'Change back.'

Immediately, pain started to wrack his body, knocking him onto his knees as he grit his teeth. 'It worked!' He thought as the pain continued to pulse through him for about 15 more seconds, before stopping. "Ugh, I wish it didn't hurt when I change between forms," he said as he opened his eyes and saw that he was human again. "But hey, at least I can change back." He then yawned, and walked out of the bathroom, shutting off the light as he left.

'Man, what a night,' He thought as he got back in bed. 'I turned into a weird dog creature that eats metal. I wonder why it happened now, and not before.' As he closed his eyes, and sleep started to embrace him once again, another thought went through his head. 'Can I become that creature again? Or was it a one-time thing?'

He then fell fast asleep.

Well, this was an interesting chapter.

Can't wait to write more!

Now, I know some of you are confused as to why he turned into a Lucario. There are a couple reasons. Number 1, Lucario is cool. And number 2, I wanted him to turn into some sort of canine. Yes, I could have chosen a dog breed like a Great Dane or Pitbull, or heck, even a Chihuahua. But that didn't feel right to me. I wanted him to turn into something shocking. Mysterious even.

"But PuzzleMaster1998! Why not just make him a werewolf?" My answer: Because they've heard the legends before of werewolves in their reality. But they've never heard of a canine with metal spikes or the ability to eat metal.

That's why I made him turn into a Lucario.

As for the dream, you know how random dreams can be. It was one of those very random dreams.
