its about 11 o'clock and everyone is walking around the empire state building*
Donte: *seeing brett is on his phone*alright brett what you doing
Brett: *looking up from phone* yea i am texting my dad he wants to know where I left some food in my room
Donte *laughs* is he okay
Brett: yea he was okay with me coming on holiday
Donte *laughs* yea man holiday with the lads and our teachers
Brett: a holiday with our teachers our parents will be impressed
as this is going on a offical has overheard and goes to call the police. 1/2 an hour the police arrive and the official points them in the direction of Steph and Tom*
Police *walking up to Steph* Excuse me m'am
Steph*turning around* yes how can I help
Police: *pulling out handcuffs* I'm arresting you on suspicion of kidnapping and abuse of trust.
Tom*seeing commotion* whats going on.
Offical to police officer* yea him as well
Police officer *to tom* you are arrested under suspicion of kidnapping and abuse of trust
maxine and janeece who have spent the last 10 minutes collecting loose change from the top of the pocket holder of people come around*
Maxine: ey Steph and Tom getting arrested this got be a joke right *laughs*
Policeman: no its no joke
Tom: okay this is wrong you've got the wrong people
Janeece goes to get brett and mika who are in the cafe*
Janeece: *panicking* guys you got to come quickly
Mika: whats going on
Janeece: steph and tom they are getting arrested
Mika*concerned* What
Brett: c'mon lets go
Chlo and Donte have also noticed the commotion
Chlo*panicking* Tom whats going on
Tom: I don't know to police officer thats my foster daughter
Police: keep telling yourself that mate
Maxine: I think you got it all mixed up *panicking* thats my mum
brett mika and janeece also arrive*
Mika: Tom... TOM
As the police officers start to lead Steph and Tom downstairs to the squad car and the kids start to plead with them*
Mika* crying* please we need them I need tom
Maxine: *starts pushing the police officer off steph*just leave them alone why you taking away the one person who cares about me
Chlo: *absolute shock* no this can't be happening.
A member of the public moves towards maxine: let them do there job *whilst restaraing maxine*
Maxine: *starts pulling away from the person* no shes my family
Brett: *pushes the person off maxine* I got it mate *hugs maxine* its okay I'm sorry I'm gonna fix this
as Steph and Tom are put into squad cars, Shock and disbelief crosses donte and Janeece face. Donte is hugging Chlo who is inconsolabe, Mika has a lost expression on her face whilst brett who is feeling guilty is holding maxine back who has a mixture of anger and pure devastation on her face*
5 minutes later*
Janeece: omg what the hell happened
Maxine: *ignoring the question* we're gonna get put into care
Mika*sniffling: What why..
Maxine: well no one else is gonna take us in anway i'm not eligble for care
Brett: no one is getting put into care Steph and Tom will be okay
Donte: well incase you've forgotten they are in prison in America one of the worst Justice systems in the world.
Brett: yea exactly they will be fine
Janeece: I heard US prisons are batshit crazy people battering each other to death and stuff
Maxine: I think i'm gonna puke
Brett: this is my fault I may of implied that haydock where just your teachers not your parents as well.

Mika * angry* YOU'RE TELLING ME STEPH AND TOM WILL PROBABLY GET KILLED BECAUSE YOU COULDN't KEEP YOUR JOKES TO YOURSELF
Maxine: *starts hitting bret* I hate you this is all your fault
whilst donte is pulling maxine off maxine shouts: if they get killed its its on you

Donte: yea I know but the difference is I actually care about Steph and Tom and I know how much they mean to the girls

Rachel: Hello Steph hows the holiday going how can I help
Steph: me and tom we're sitting in a American prision facing charges of Abuse of trust and kidnapping

Rachel: right well I am gonna contact the kids make sure they are safe then i am going to do my upmost to get you out

Chlo, Mika and maxine have all entered a bar and have already had two much to drink
Mika*slurring words* so yes now we are all alone *shouting* we have freedom
Maxine*annoyed* like who are people to assume who are parents are
Chlo: do they even have a fostering scheme in this country

Mika: I don't think its the fostering part I think its the fact they are our teachers
A group of friends have noticed the girls drinking alone and started walking up to them*
Boy 1: hey there girls my names liam *pointing to the other boy in the group* this is Zack*
Girl1: hello *sits down uninvited next to chlo* my names brook this *points to the other girl in the group* this is evie
liam and zack sits in between Maxine and Mika whilst evie sits next to Chlo as well*
Liam: whats up with you lot, you all look so sad
Maxine: nothing don't worry about it
Brooke: zack why don't you get us some drinks they look like they need perking up
zack grins mysteriously* okay then
Evie: so where are you lot from
Mika: *slurring* we are from england Rochdale
liam moves closer to maxine* all on your own

back at the hotel* Donte and Brett are arguing
Donte: I promised Tom I would look after the girls yet they are wandering around the city alone
Brett: I know that okay and I am trying to fix it
Donte: look mate I get you thought it was a joke but can you see why the girls are angry

Janeece: can you guys please stop you are doing my head in
its now 10 am the group have been drinking for hours*
Brooke: lets go rootop drinking
Maxine: isn't that dangerous
Evie: it is if you've got family but you haven't have you you're all alone who would care if you had a accident
Maxine: well I know but my foster mum would be devested if i had a accident you know I need to give her something to look forward to
Mika: yes my stepdad would go nuts
Liam* putting arm around maxine and pulling her closer to his side* c'mon its just a bit of fun
Zack: *hugging mika* c'mon girls
the girls go unwinnly with the group the boys holding them and pulling them along with the girls behind them*
Chlo: I need the toilet a second
Brooke: be quick
Chlo*calls donte*

Chlo: *scared* its mika and Maxine this group of friends have led them up to the roof and they have been drinking all nigjt
Donte: *grabbing coat* wait there me and brett are coming
donte to brett* its mika and maxine a group got them drunk and led them up to the roof of some bar
20 minutes later donte and brett rush into the bar*
Donte* to bartender* have you seen three girls medium hight
Bartender: no i haven't
Donte and brett then run to the back of the bar where they find chlo waiting for them*
Chlo: they went up there *pointing up to the stairs leading up to the roof* donte be careful
Donte: I will *walking up the stairs*
As they ascend the stairs they see Maxine and Mika standing on the ledge of the building laughing drunklenly with 2 boys and 2 girls goading them on*
Brett: *shouts* mika
Brooklyn: who are they *to mika and maxine*
Maxine: *laughing* they are nobody
Donte*slowly walking towards the girls* guys don't do anything stupid now
Evie: leave them alone they aren't doing anything stupid
Brett: mika maxine we care about you think about Tom and Steph if you fall think about what will happen
Liam *squaring up to brett* we are their family now okay
Brett: you call this family leading two vulnerable girls onto a roof
Zack: * pushes brett back* look pal they have nobody so we gonna give them the family they need
Brett*filling with anger* i'm not your pal
Chlo comes up the stairs and sees mika standing on the ledge*
Chlo: Mika what will Tom say
Mika: It dosen't matter because I won't be around to hear it
Chlo: Mika what about mum what would she say
Mika: don't start with that crap okay *starts crying* they are both gone tom and mum and I want them so bad
Chlo: mika get down okay these people aren't your family, they don't care
Brett: Mika I give you my promise that I will get tom and steph out of jail soon tom will be shouting at you again.
mika gets down and hugs chlo*
Liam: *looking at maxine* and there was one c'mon max why don't you come with us we can these people *looking at brett donte mika chlo* don't care they just say they do
Brooke: yes c'mon we can be a real family
Chlo: maxine don't okay they are just saying lies. Think about it. Who took you in when you had nobody who treated you like there own
Maxine: I don't want to go back to being homeless and living in some crap burnt out car
Evie: would you rather stay with us and we take care of you. Or go back to that lot*looks over at donte brett, Chlo and mika* also you know your foster mum ought to pay for what she has put you through.. she dosen't really care she probaley only took you in for the money.
Maxine: *filling up with anger* *with gritted teeth* say that again
Brooklyn: thats what teachers do pretend they care then when they are done wash there hands.
maxine jumps down from the ledge then goes for brooklyn hitting her*
Maxine: *shouting* you know nothing about me or Steph. Shes my mum shes saved me from a drug addiction
Zack*pushing maxine off brooklyn* get off her okay we don't want your council estate germs
maxine lunges towards them again but brett and mika hold her back*
Brett *to maxine* they aren't worth it
Donte*pushes zack* get off my friend
Liam: *laughing* c'mon guys they aren't worth it let the cry over their pathetic excuse of there teachers
the teens walk away*
Mika: come on lets go home
the kids walk home, donte has his arms around Chlo and maxine. Chlo's arm is draped over mika with brett on the end*
back at the hotel donte puts chlo to bed and brett helps mika as well. Janeece is helping maxine*
Janeece: I'm sorry max for not being around much today
Maxine: its okay i just feel so frustrated
the hotel phone buzzes*
Brett*picks it up: hello
Rachel: Brett Hi its ms mason here
Brett: hi miss
Rachel: are you all okay
Brett: yea its good
Rachel: okay well i contacted the social and basically theres no hard proof that mika and chlo's mum ever asked Tom to look after the girls . Also steph isn't an approved foster carer. I'm still working on it but in the meantime if there is anything I can do don't hesitate to ask.
Brett: yea thanks miss
