AN: Hi guys! Sorry for the delay. The end of the school year and the country de-escalation, as we call it here, with its consequent "outbreaks" (or whatever its name is), have kept me quite busy in both of my jobs.

Stay safe! And happy 4th of July for those from the United States!

This is still the same shift, than last two chapters.

Thank you for reading! I hope you like it.

"Mrs. Sullivan?"

"Oops!" Vic said, realizing her mistake. "I'm sorry, I didn't know.." She apologized to Andy. "It's ok." The lieutenant couldn't care less at that moment, about her recently recovered mom, who had missed 20 years of her life, not knowing she was married, but she really didn't want to talk about her husband with 90 percent of the people in that room. "So, it's true. You're married. To a Mr. Sullivan, obviously. That's great!" Elena emphasized, joyfully. "I wanna meet him!"

"Sure, mami. Not today, though." Herrera told her and looked briefly at Miller. Their silent exchange didn't go unnoticed by Ben, who had instinctively focused her attention on Andy as soon as Sullivan was mentioned. "Is he a firefighter too?" Mrs. Herrera insisted, despite Andy's noticeable desire to end the questionnaire, while the team scanned her reactions uncomfortably. "Yes, he is." Or at least, she hoped that he'll keep being one.

"Hey, how are you doing, Andy? That was a lot to take in, even for me." Dean wondered, as they stood on the passage above the trucks, where Herrera had gone in search of some quiet peace, after saying goodbye to her mother. "I'm fine, I just wasn't expecting her to...I don't know. I'm a mess."

"It's ok to be overwhelmed, Andy. You, among all people, are allowed to feel that way." Miller reassured her, before changing the subject to something he had been dying to ask her for a few days, but he hadn't found the right time, as if there was any. "Speaking of expecting...did you...you know, take the test?" She shook her head, but rushed to explain herself when she saw her friend's glare. "I didn't need to."

"What does that mean? You went to the doctor?" He inquired, confused. "No, no. I mean, I found out...the natural way."

"Oh… How are you? I know you kinda wanted this." He wanted to know, once the realization finally came to him. "I was sad for a moment, but it was the morning of my father's funeral, so it quickly got sidelined."

"Wow, I'm sorry Andy. I can't even imagine how difficult that day must've been for you." It had certainly been one of the worst days she had ever lived in her whole life, if not the top one, although hearing about Robert, had made it one of the best in the past few weeks too. "Yeah, still, you made it a little bit easier. So, thank you…Do you agree with Vic? Was I more entertaining before I got married?" She suddenly addressed, surprising Miller with the drastic change of subject.

"They don't know everything you're going through, you haven't been yourself, lately. I do and it doesn't have anything to do with you marring Sullivan, it's quite the opposite actually. But, anyway, don't let anyone make you doubt about what you two have, I can tell it's pretty special if you're missing him this much. And he, for sure, is missing you too, judging by what I could see the other day."

"Thank you" She appreciated, one more time. "You don't need to thank me, Andy. And I probably wasn't convincing enough, I'm sorry I couldn't get him to talk to you. I thought he would, you know, because I told him you were sorry and everything." Herrera dropped her face and leaned on the handrail. "That's not your fault."

"I know, but I wish I could've done more…" Dean sighed and joined her side, before he continued. "Ben asked me about him, this afternoon." The expression on Herrera's face was hard to unravel, was it shock, anger? "He wanted to know if he was ok." Miller clarified, but she barely gave him time to finish. "What did you tell him?"

"I told him to ask any of you." He rapidly replied to ease her, none of them noticing that the alleged one, had just appeared below them, because he was out of their eyesight.

"He can ask whoever he wants, I'm not telling him anything." She said, matter of factly, with her usual resolution. "I know you're not in the best place right now… with Ben, but just for the record, he was genuinely worried, Andy."

"I'm not mad about what he did, it had to be done, we agreed with that...I mean, Robert and I…" Miller nodded to her in understandment, without making eye contact, and she kept talking. "I'm mad because I don't think it was the right way to do it. And I'm also mad because it happened when I was...you know, I wasn't ok, and I didn't… but that part was my fault." She rambled, as a confirmation to Warren of what Dean had told him in the gym that same day. "He said something to me in the ambulance today, about him offering his help to Robert at the beginning, which he apparently refused. But what I've never told anyone is that he came to me, he tried to talk to me about his problem, before we were together, and I shut the door on his face." A few tears rolled down her cheeks, when she finished her confession. "Hey, everything will be ok. He'll come back."

Ben was left bewildered by Andy's disclosure. He thought that one of his former boss' problems had been his proud for not asking for help, which was the main reason why he got so mad at him, and he had just found out that he had tried to get some. Had he heard right? "Come back? Come back from where? What had happened to him?" And that was the moment when Warren decided he had to find Sullivan.
